The glitz and the glamour of the 44th Annual Daytime Emmys was well represented by some of this year’s top looks, moment’s and fashion as your daytime favorites hit the red carpet on Sunday night.

From the women who wowed including: Ex-DAYS Kate Mansi, B&B’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, Reign Edwards, and Karla Mosley, DAYS very pregnant Nadia Bjorlin, GH’s Laura Wright, Chloe Lanier, and Eden McCoy, to the men who looked smoldering in the heat of the sun including: DAYS Billy Flynn, Lucas Adams, and Lamon Archey, Y&R’s Christian LeBlanc and former castmate Steve Burton, to talk show host, Harry Connick Jr, many came to impress and look sharp for the ceremonies.

Where’s Lauren Koslow this year? No Best and Worst?

BEST:

Karla Mosely- that colour just popped off her skin. She was like Elsa the Disney Princess. Also reminiscent of Lupita N’yongo a few years ago.
Kate Mansi- she’s so petit but that dress draped off her body perfectly in large part because of her small size. Again, great colour. She dressed like a winner.
Gina Tognoni- she looked radiant. That pattern was lovely and her hair was simple yet fresh.
Susan Lucci- GORGEOUS. DIVA. Show them yungins how it’s done.
Jess Walton- elegant, but her hair was youthful
Sal Stowers- she wasn’t up for an award, but she dressed like she was.
Vanessa Williams- great choice. Very flattering.
Mishal Morgan- lots of fun, but not to the point where it was a “wrong dress for the occasion” situation. It was a perfect dress.
Nancy Lee Grahn- Very classy and navy was a great choice.
Reign Edwards- Great choice. Again that diamond colour, like Mishal’s, just works.
Jackie Woods- Va va va voom.

WORST:
Kassie DePaiva- loved her dress last year. This year, not so much!
Judi Evans- I know she was going for Old Hollywood, but I didn’t think it translated well on her.
Ari Zucker- every year she does this to me and it PAINS me. She is my girl crush in soaps. I adore her. But year after year she disappoints me at these shows. WHY!?!?
Courtney Hope- WTF.
Kelly Monaco- I did not like the middle part in her hair and how it was so smoothed down like that. Also the top of her dress did not fit well.
Lexi Ainsworth- I know it was Brenda’s wedding dress back in 2011, but it just didn’t look right for Lexi. It looked like a 20-something trying a 30-something dress, but with the wrong choice.
Kelly Sullivan- hey lady? Your entire lower half was showing.
Carolyn Hennesey- Was she trying to look like the Garden of Eden?
Heather Tom- liked the dress, not the hair.

What great pictures. Made my day. Thank you!

I LOVED that everyone dressed “to the nine’s” regardless of the fact that the ceremonies were only being broadcast online! Of the men, I thought “father & son” duo Doug Davidson & Steve Burton looked classy & cool, as well as Jeffery Vincent Parise & Chad Duell. Of the women, I though Kelly Monaco looked sleek & gorgeous in white & I LOVED Heather Thom’s dress, but it was Kate Mansi’s spectacular, flowing red/orange gown that was absolutely the most stunning look of the night! I’m SO thrilled to have been there to see them all “live & in person,” from the fan balcony!

Best Dressed: Courtney Hope, Karla Mosley & Kassie DePaiva.
Best Couple: Ariana & Shawn

Susan Lucci a lovely diva indeed the woman must do Pilates 8 hours a day!! Gorgeous gown!

Chloe Lanier–very classy!

Reign Edwards and Steve Burton

ahh there we go!
what the ”big deal” of the Emmys really are- the fashion show..
They are into showing off their dresses especially if they didn’t win anything they still have their designer dresses, the dress up party.. LOL

I liked the 4 classy dresses that didn’t have boobs hanging out ..
The men were all looking very good!

Susan Lucci was spectacular never looked better!

Great fashions! Loved the “Avant sisters” : just spectacular! Normally not a fan of her fashions, but loved Heather T. ‘s look, hair and all! The women of B&B really shined!
From Y & R loved Mishal’s and Gina’s gowns. They all looked like stars!

From the guy’s side: JVP is my MVP! That lucky fan that got to present with him! Style, talent and charisma. Get this guy on to Y & R pronto! The gentleman that plays Curtis on GH: also a triple threat with the style, talent, and just oozes charisma. Plus they are both very handsome, to boot!

I thought the show was well done and the networks could take a lesson from keeping it about the occasion to be there. Before they left network TV the Daytime Emmys turned into one big infomercial. Enjoyed it.

I thought the ladies from The Bold & the Beautiful were all gorgeous too (with exception to Courtney Hope’s dress..).

In my opinion, gorgeous choices in dresses, make-up, and overall style (women, in no particular order): Reign Edwards, Jacqueline Woods, Susan Lucci, Camila Banus, Mishael Morgan, Karla Mosley, Kate Mansi, Kelly Monaco, and the adorable and sweet Alyvia Alyn Lind.

In my opinion, what on earth were they thinking?
Kassie DePaiva, Courtney Hope, and Ari Zucker (the dress was fine; it was the hair-yikes)!

My favorite was Kate Mansi. The red dress was hers all the way. Didn’t watch a lot of it, It kept cutting out. So I really didn’t care. .They are beautiful and some chose the wrong dresses and colors but Best to the winners, and maybe next year to the losers.

Kelly Monaco just looked Trashy. Wasn’t fond of Kassie’s dress. Nancy Grahn looked gorgeous.

And what’s with Billy Flynn and several other guys that look like they bought their pants one size too small. Too short and too tight. Not a good look for dress pants.

“Daytime television invites viewers into the private lives of characters, often bringing important issues like cancer screenings into living rooms and around water coolers. Soaps debuted the first cancer storyline in 1962 – years before the topic was discussed in the mainstream, and it left an indelible impact: a whole generation of women who scheduled a potentially life-saving Pap smear for the first time,” said Daytime Stands Up host Alan Locher. “For so many viewers, this brought the issue front and center,” added co-host Michael Fairman. “Today, it’s become almost impossible to avoid; but there is hope with cancer research, thanks to organizations like Stand Up To Cancer.”

SU2C Co-Founder Sue Schwartz, SU2C President and CEO Julian Adams, Ph.D., and SU2C Health Equity Committee Member Elizabeth Jaffee, M.D., will also participate to speak to the importance of early detection, exciting scientific breakthroughs, and the ongoing work yet to be done to make screenings and treatment equitable for all.

“This year, an estimated 2 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer, presenting an opportunity for the public to stand with us and rise to the occasion,” said Adams. “We’re thankful to Alan Locher, Michael Fairman and our friends from the daytime television community, who will raise critical funding to honor those we’ve lost – and to propel new scientific breakthroughs for current and future patients. Everyone has a story, and we’re grateful to all of you for sharing yours.”

For over 15 years, SU2C has leveraged its relationship with the entertainment community – which includes more than 1,100 celebrity ambassadors – to generate public donations, increase awareness and fund cutting-edge cancer research. SU2C research has contributed to the development of more than 10 scientific breakthroughs that have significantly impacted the field and provided new treatment options for breast, colorectal, lung, melanoma, pancreatic, pediatric and prostate cancers.
