It’s A Wrap For DAYS Arianne Zucker!

Photo: ArianneZuckerTwitter

Wednesday marked longtime Days of our Lives star, Arianne Zucker’s (Nicole) final tape day on the set of the NBC soap opera.  Zucker had previously announced she decided to step away from DAYS after 18 years with the series.

Due to DAYS taping schedule being six months ahead, viewers can anticipate more Nicole drama all the way through the fall.

For her farewell, Zucker posted a photo via social media featuring some Hawaiian leis around her neck and those of her co-stars Alison Sweeney (Sami), Chandler Massey (Will) and Galen Gering (Rafe), expressing, “Aloha! Last day at work! Making it colorful!”

Just how the series will write-out the character of Nicole to facilitate Arianne’s exit is still unknown, although long time fans of the character and the actress hope her exit brings with it emotional story.

So, sad to know Arianne has finished her time at DAYS?  How do you think she will exit the canvas? Comment below.

Soooo sad to see you go Arianne/Nicole.
I hope there’s no recast….wouldn’t be the same. Awwwww!!

Nicole, being so heartbroken over losing the baby, needs some alone-time away from Salem, saying “au revoir” and not good bye; leaving the door open.
As an alternative, (this is far-reaching), maybe, Khloe will give Nicole “custody” of Holly, with the condition that Khloe will be part of their lives. So, all three leave together?

Chloe has never wanted Nicole to have Daniel’s baby from the beginning. That is why she will never custody to Nicole.

No matter how they write Nicole’s exit, it’s still going to be tough to see her gone. We watched this lady be everything a character on daytime could hope to be. We saw her be bitchy, sneaky, conniving, and vengeful. We also got to see a caring, loving, and giving lady. We hated her and we loved her. She made us yell at our TV screens but she also had us praying to God that she would get out of any danger she was in. I am glad i took this journey with Nicole. I will be one who is going to miss her terribly.

Ditto completely

I, too, will miss the actress; she gave real depth to the character of Nicole in the last few years–and she came across as a believable character. Kudos–and aloha!

She will be missed.

Good luck to her…hate to see her leave but after 50 plus years of soap viewing im used to comings and goings…

So so sad It is like losing a member of your family. I wish her all the happiness in the world even though there is a hole in my heart. Thank you for being such a great actress Arianne and giving us a character that we got to be angry with ,cried with ,laugh with ,and grew with. It was a blessing to all of us who watched days faithfully. We can watch movies any time but soaps is so much more. It is part of our lives every day. Movies come and go and other sitcoms but soaps are part of us. Could live with out them. So again thank you from the bottom of my heart to you “Nicole” and you and dr Dan enjoy your lives and please come back to Days of our lives if you can. You are always welcomed in my home. Xoxoxo

I am going to miss Arianne Zucker. I wish her well in whatever she chooses to do next.

I really want Nicole to have a happy ending raising baby Holly. It is well past time for her to get happiness.

To put it simply…DAYS blew it! The character of Nicole should have been the leading lady of the show! Her range as an actress is amazing and she could really make you feel! She had off the charts chemistry with several of her leading men…yet they kept saddling her with older men with whom there was no chemistry (Daniel, Deimos) and the storylines were really bad! In my mind…Mizz Nicole is sipping on a martini somewhere, happy and in love with a man who APPRECIATES her…and loves her for her!

I agree. I think Arianne is a great actress who is able to express a great range of emotions. Unfortunately, we were subjected to Alison Sweeney being the leading lady for many years, and in my opinion, she lacked the charisma and range. I haven’t watched the show in months, since the teen scene exploded. I will only tune-in again when Eileen Davidson returns for her upcoming arc.

Sad to see Ari/Nicole leave. I’ve really enjoyed her on the show.

Good to see Chandler and Ali back!

I guess this means poor Brady is going to lose another love— I know stable relationships don’t work on soaps, but this guy cannot catch a break– I like the character of Nicole, but I like the bad girl version of her rather than St. Nic version we have been getting since her days with Daniel. I am so grateful Days has never tampered with Kate– she is one bad girl who embraces her dark side so well.

Yes, Mary. I looove Kate, even with all her flaws and “dastardly” deeds. I love her style and couture. Everything she foes is executed with panache and gusto….good or bad. She’s the purrfect feline.
And, she’s a hoot, to boot. Ha!

Does, not foes. Oops.

So sad to see Ari leave. She has been a great character on Days. All the best to her.

So sad to see her leave. She was a very important part of the show. However I did see her once in a Lifetime movie. She will be missed.Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

I hope they leave “an opening” in case she wants to come back, she will be missed!

I am hoping for the same thing.

“Daytime television invites viewers into the private lives of characters, often bringing important issues like cancer screenings into living rooms and around water coolers. Soaps debuted the first cancer storyline in 1962 – years before the topic was discussed in the mainstream, and it left an indelible impact: a whole generation of women who scheduled a potentially life-saving Pap smear for the first time,” said Daytime Stands Up host Alan Locher. “For so many viewers, this brought the issue front and center,” added co-host Michael Fairman. “Today, it’s become almost impossible to avoid; but there is hope with cancer research, thanks to organizations like Stand Up To Cancer.”

SU2C Co-Founder Sue Schwartz, SU2C President and CEO Julian Adams, Ph.D., and SU2C Health Equity Committee Member Elizabeth Jaffee, M.D., will also participate to speak to the importance of early detection, exciting scientific breakthroughs, and the ongoing work yet to be done to make screenings and treatment equitable for all.

“This year, an estimated 2 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer, presenting an opportunity for the public to stand with us and rise to the occasion,” said Adams. “We’re thankful to Alan Locher, Michael Fairman and our friends from the daytime television community, who will raise critical funding to honor those we’ve lost – and to propel new scientific breakthroughs for current and future patients. Everyone has a story, and we’re grateful to all of you for sharing yours.”

For over 15 years, SU2C has leveraged its relationship with the entertainment community – which includes more than 1,100 celebrity ambassadors – to generate public donations, increase awareness and fund cutting-edge cancer research. SU2C research has contributed to the development of more than 10 scientific breakthroughs that have significantly impacted the field and provided new treatment options for breast, colorectal, lung, melanoma, pancreatic, pediatric and prostate cancers.
