Need to keep the character of Travis the best chemistry AH has had since Miller left you need to shelve the Billy and Victoria story and move her along she has chemistry with this actor that plays Travis don’t make her carry a story out with a actor she shares no chemistry with. Why is Jason Thompson playing Billy as arrogant and just blah! Dissapointed

k/Kay…Agree about Travis and Victoria chemistry. It’s like a breath of fresh air compared to Billy and any of the other Y&R couples for that matter. Feel bad about Jason. I was hoping he would have a meatier role than Dr. Patrick on GH, but really don’t like how they are writing for him on Y&R.

Colleen’s heart finally took over Victor’s body as he tried to make things right with Adam.

Ahhh, Timmmy!!!! Too late!!!! Over and over again; Victor screws up, then tries to remedy the situation…alas; leaving havoc in his wake….I do not see a repetition of the same mistake as making amends. He manipulated and schemed by having someone else take the blame. Oh, my Timmmy!! That’s not making things right! Making things right is taking the blame upon himself and apologize to Adam and all involved by admitting the truth. That is the stuff that makes a man!!!!! However, I will agree with you, if only Victor is sincere. Once this episode is said and done, Victor… Read more »

For Victor it is as close as you get to an apology. Do you suppose his actions COULD be tied to his horrific childhood? I know he always brings that up and wants to protect his family but could this be a legitimate excuse? I say no. Kids who grow up in rough neighborhoods who get a break and pee it away often blame their childhood and lack of parental guidance BUT wouldn’t one want to prevail from that living hell? Victor means well BUT he protects one and hurts THREE! Love you to!

I suppose you’re right, my Timmmy. I have never dealt with anyone as Victor. I hope I never do.
Growing up, my father ‘s lecture to us girls would always end the same way ; wolves run rampant/amok in all neighborhoods ; of the male persuasion, that is..

God bless your dad! I cannot imagine trying to Navigate daughters through a maze of evil wolves! So, you are Little Red Riding Hood? Luv ya!

I am married to a tamed wolf, Timmmy. Little Red Riding Hood no more. HaHa. But, you’re right. Men are very protective and possessive of their daughters. My poor Daddy has four. He is not the same with my two brothers. It’s a different kind of worry, I guess. Now, with all the grandchildren, his hair is greying by the minute. LOL. This is why I don’t understand Victor’s volatile persona. That’s not the way a father treats his children. He tries to protect his daughters and granddaughter from men he does not approve….but, he goes about it in such… Read more »

I totally agree with you k/kay. I loved AH with Travis practically fro day one. To me me the Billy and Victoria ship sailed when the chcharacter of Billy became a revolving door of actors. Let continue their friendship for the sake of the kids. But other than that, it’s time the moved on. I am hoping that after Friday’s episode, Luca and Summer will finally be over. I say replace Luca with Travis. Given the proper chance, Victoria and Travis could be a wonderful couple. I really don’t understand where they are taking the character of Billy. To arrogant… Read more »

I think that initially they were letting the actor that plays Travis go but I think they had to sense the chemistry with AH and brought him back. Like I have said I just can’t get into JT’s version of Billy I think maybe with the revolving door of actors they should have sent him out of town until Miller came back now that JFP is gone he might have came back eventually. I sure don’t think Miller looks happy at all at GH

Y&R is in a really good place right now, and the ratings prove it. Mal Young is doing a great job so far as executive producer, and Chuck Pratt’s material has been really good lately. The directing has been top-notch too, and so have the location shoots. It’s no wonder why Y&R is #1. A big part of that is because the show has always kept the major story surrounding its core families, the Newmans and Abbotts. Most characters from each family is part of a big story and has something going on, and Y&R knows how to create umbrella… Read more »

Great post–I agree.
Y&R is finally starting to show life again.
And dare I hope that we are going to get a break from Chelsey’s constant histrionics?

Nope Harry it is obvious that they plan on pairing her with Nick that is why the sudden love fest between Nick &Adam and Adam telling Nick to take care of Connor. Obvious!

Looks good. Seems like Luca will be gone soon–good.

I want Adam free from prison and back in GC with his family.

I would like to see Bethany return, but don’t know how that could happen.

Interesting to get some backstory on Neil.

I’d like that too, Mo. The only way Bethany would be able to return, in my opinion, is to expose Victor and Chloe. I find it so frustrating how these two have gotten away with so much. But, I guess both of them feel justified….Victor’s vendetta and “I will show you” attitude towards Adam; and Chloe’ s vicious pay-back. Sadly, she does not see that her and Victor’s calculated crime is worse than any accident. The difference between Victor and Chloe is that she was motivated by hurt, insanity and pain; wanting to inflict the same pain on Adam…..Victor did… Read more »

GH’s Nancy Lee Grahn Shares Excerpt From Her Upcoming Memoir

In celebration of beginning her 27th year as Alexis Davis on General Hospital, two-time Daytime Emmy-winner, Nancy Lee Grahn, decided to mark the occasion by revealing to her longtime fans an excerpt from her upcoming memoir due out in 2023.

Taking to her official Facebook page, Nancy shared the excerpt starting with contained some of the back-history of her soap opera alter-ego : “I play the role of Alexis Davis. I am a public defender, prosecutor, personnel injury, civil, malpractice, tax and family attorney. I am the bastard child of Mikos Cassadine who died after being thrown into his own weather machine which he designed to freeze the world. My mother, Kristen Bergman was a famous opera singer whose throat was slit by my father’s wife, Helena. Unhappy with the turn of events, I hurled my frail 75 year old stepmother off a five hundred foot parapet slamming her onto jagged rock only for her to walk away unscathed. Even more determined, I shoved her off a thousand foot cliff into the frigid subzero ocean, Helena not only survived unscathed, she apparently scaled 1000 feet up the cliff and continued to wreak havoc on Port Charles.”

Nancy closed the excerpt with some special acknowledgements: “Always so grateful to have an ongoing contract, my own parking space and people I’ve never met who come up to me regularly and tell me how much younger I look in person. It’s a gift that I have been able to and still get to do what I love to do for such a gloriously long time. I love my job the most because it is the job that gave me the security I needed to greenlight Kate as a single mother, raise her while being able to give her the things I dreamed of giving her, put her through school all the way through college, and will hopefully allow me to spoil my grandchildren. The enormous love & gratitude I have for ABC and Disney for allowing me the privilege of working for them is immeasurable. But the real truth is without the support from all of you, this day would not be what it is. As always, I see you and thank you”

Make sure to read the entire excerpt.  Noe let us know, are you looking forward to what Nancy will share in her upcoming memoir? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

Kelly Ripa Talks On Her New Memoir ‘Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories’

Talk show host and All My Children alum, Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley) is opening up about her life and times in her highly-anticipated memoir available now, Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories.

Ripa chatted exclusively with PEOPLE who got some of intel and dish on what’s included in the book.

Kelly told PEOPLE, when she landed the gig as the new co-host of Live with Regis and Kelly, with the late Regis Philbin back in 2001, she felt like she was “getting shot out of a cannon.”  Ripa was also appearing on All My Children at the same time.

She tells the story of when her agent called with the offer, Ripa was told: “They want you to know who your boss is. It was very ominous, and it did not feel good.”  Her agent also said the show didn’t want her, “bringing an entourage.” She brought two people. “I came with hair and makeup,” Kelly says. “It was not an unusual thing for people on a television show to show up with.”

She added that Regis greeted her with executive producer, Michael Gelman, saying: “Uh-oh, Gelman, it’s got an entourage.” It?!  Kelly expressed that she “felt horrible.  He was probably trying to be funny, but at the same time it felt like a pile-on.”

As for Philbin’s attitude at the time, Kelly shared, “I understand that probably he didn’t want a co-host, but the network wanted me to be the co-host and I didn’t think I should pass up that opportunity. I don’t think it was fair to him. But it was also not fair to me.”

The actress-talk show host-producer also talked on her marriage to Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo), whom she met while both were on All My Children, sharing that they were, “too young to get married! On paper it should not have worked and when it didn’t work, we really worked at it. We fought for our marriage when it would have been easier to quit and throw in the towel.”

According to the book publisher, HarperCollins:  “In ‘Live Wire’, her first book, Kelly shows what really makes her tick. Whether recounting how she and Mark (Consuelos) really met, the level of chauvinism she experienced on set, how Jersey Pride follows her wherever she goes, and many, many moments of utter mortification (whence she proves that you cannot, in fact, die of embarrassment) Kelly always tells it like it is. Ms. Ripa takes no prisoners.”

So, will you be ordering your copy of Kelly’s memoir? Let us know in the comment section below.

Roark Critchlow on His Return to DAYS and Working With Cady McClain

It’s been 12 years since Roark Critchlow appeared on Days of our Lives as Dr. Mike Horton, the brother of Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain). However, fans have been excited to see him back on their screens when the series teased his appearance in the extended fall preview.

Now with Jennifer spiraling downward (now that her pill-popping addiction is back), it seems like a good time for Dr. Mike to return to Salem to help his sis. (And if the promo for this week’s DAYS is any indication, it certainly looks like Jennifer is going to be involved in a car crash and need medical assistance or at least some brotherly love.)

Photo: JPI

Roark initially appeared as Mike back in 1994 and left the soap back in 1999. He returned in 2010 for a few episodes honoring the late Frances Reid (Alice Horton) who was Mike’s grandmother.

In an interview about his return with Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, Roark talks about working with McClain as Jennifer, when he previously worked with Missy Reeves in the part.

Critchlow expressed on sharing scenes with McClain: “Her character is going through a lot. She and I dropped in really easily, I felt. It was a very nice, natural care for each other. It wasn’t difficult, that’s for sure. Obviously, Missy is a super-duper person. But you don’t compare people. Cady and I chatted. We got on good. In terms of story, I thought we pulled it off nicely as being people who’ve known each other their whole lives.”

Look for Roark to make his DAYS re-emergence on the upcoming October 3rd episode of the Peacock streaming series.

So, looking forward to seeing Roark and Cady sharing scenes together? Share your thoughts in the comment section, but first check out this week’s promo for DAYS below.
