Adam Huss Back to GH as Nikolas Cassadine

Photo: IMDb

With Marcus Coloma’s last appearance as Nikolas Cassadine on last week’s January 26th episode of General Hospital, the soap opera brought back Adam Huss to finish out the dark prince’s storyline.

According to Soaps.com. Huss aired today on the January 31st episode of the ABC daytime drama series and will finish out the scenes that were written to be portrayed by Coloma.

Adam previously subbed for Coloma back in September 2021 and again in November 2022.

After it was announced that Coloma was leaving GH, the network and the series agreed that it would be best that Marcus did come in to tape his last episodes since he was recovering from Covid-19 at the time.  Thus, we are seeing those episodes featuring Huss now airing in early February.

So, glad to see Adam back to wrap Nikolas’ current storyline? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.

He should do well enough to finish up the role, but I don’t think he’s the long term replacement. I did think it was a bit ridiculous to re-shoot the telephone confession video from several months ago with him though.

Agree!

I agree they should not have shot the confession video over …Adam Huss might be a decent actor. But certainly has no real connection as Nicholas Cassidine. I hope they bring Tyler Christopher back

I’d like them to bring back Tyler Christopher. He made Nicholas. But I thought Marcus Coloma did okay too.

I agree, would love to see Tyler Christopher back as Nikolas Cassadine. This isn’t the role for Adam Huss, don’t see or feel the chemistry/vibe.

Don’t think Frank Valentini wanted to bring back Tyler Christopher since he fired him for some reason so for now Nicolas is dead and they will find his dead body pretty soon.

I disagree! It would have been pretty weird to show the video with ‘old’ Nik!
The soaps always re-record pertinent scenes if a new actor takes over a role.

I love him as Nicholas & think he does a great job plus he’s a lookalike.

Hi, Satan——do you think Nikolas is really dead? I don’t—I think Austin’s cousin needed leverage over Ava—I have no clue why. Plus, the writers probably don’t either.
Why the interest in Ava? Austin will do his best to protect Ava ( I think), but he must keep the beast at bay ( his cousin, whatchamacallit).
Looks like the beginning of another torturous, tangled and nonsensical storyline.
Aside—-preemies are kept in incubators and not allowed to leave—-have things changed that much in thirty-five years? My twin and I were preemies—-

Celia &Satan…I never thought Nicholas was dead. There was never a followup by Ava (it’s not like she is a doctor), and Dr. Austin to check him. And we all know there are many tunnels, exits and entrances Nic could escape through when he regained consciousness. GH can’t afford to lose more Cassadines. Guess we will have to wait until they let us know who they pick. So expectation and upcoming sweeps!!! Then another MF column so fans can give their comments about the new Nic vs other potentials.

Hey, there, rose—yes, absolutely–I replied to Satan just today, saying that the closet in which Nik “rested”, probably has a secret door. On the other side of that, could Austin have removed Nik’s unconscious body and taken him elsewhere? As I mentioned earlier, something weird is going on between him and his cousin, which somehow involves Nikolas and Ava?
As you say, we shall see….I hope I will take to nuNikolas, whenever he decides to return. LOL.

Satan
Guess we all value your opinions, SO, do you think that Nickolas is really dead? Have you seen him yet? Are we suppose to assume Ava and her new cohort are just going to leave his body out in the stable to rot? So e ideas please. I oersonnaly think he’s alive.

Nikolas is not in Hell. And given all the sins he’s committed in recent years, I doubt he went the other direction either. So my theory is that he will end up in one of those Cassadine cryogenic freezers and probably be thawed out just in time for May sweeps. Maybe Uncle Victor has already moved him to that location? Because it’s really strange that he has not been seen looking for the “missing” Nik. Unlike Spencer, Laura, Elizabeth, Finn, etc. who all stopped by the castle to ask Ava if she knew where he was.

You are right, Satan—-Nikolas ( replacement) will return. He’s not dead—-there’s probably a secret door in that closet—-or Austin moved the undead body somewhere else—-He will return!!

“the role of Nicholas Cassadine will now be played by Adam Huss” is what I heard at the start of the first “Nicholas” scene…

this sounds “permanent”(?) I do enjoy his portrayal, so all good here.

Hopefully they’re not going to make Nikolas’ departure permanent. We do need a break from the character and for Nik to eventually return strong (like the Nik of old).

I’m the meantime, either expect a Lucky visit or Lulu waking up from her coma in the months ahead as Laura needs at least one child on the canvas.

Also on Tuesday’s episode, Rebecca Herbst and Roger Howarth appeared together for the first time since Franco died almost 2 years ago. Austin and Elizabeth were both in the delivery room when Willow gave birth to a 20lb. premature baby.

That’s funny, 20-lb premature baby!

That’s what I thought also

That is so funny: “Willow gave birth to a 20lb. premature baby.”

Watching yesterdays episode and see what you mean about a 20# premie baby. Ha

best comment
!!!!! I’m rolling!!

lol.. yes, that new born 20lb baby was almost to big for Michael to cradle in his arms

And today Joss says “she’s so little”.

No… she really isn’t.

LOL. Satan—baby is a little giant( pardon the oxymoron). Alas, she is not part of the “Bobbie Matriarchy”, as Joss mistakenly thinks. Willow is neither Carly’s daughter nor Bobbie’s granddaughter. Thank God.
BTW—-is something brewing between Austin and Ava?

Celia, seeing Maura West & Roger Howarth together brought back memories of ATWT circa 2000 thru 2005ish. Then, Maura was the Carly to his Paul Ryan and they weren’t exactly besties. But it was a great era for the show with Colleen Zenk Pinter as the inimitable Barbara and so many other great actors. I wonder if they reminisce about the great days of New York soaps. I never thought they’d click as a couple…still not sure. Just please don’t pair Ava with the coma-inducing Dr. Finn!

Hey, there—-I wasn’t watching GH at that time, Soaphound, I wish I had ( part of my College days in Boston—THE BEST!!).
Any soap with the illustrious Maura West brings suspense, romance, adventure, spice, deviltry, mischief, horror and humor combined.
With Finn? I can’t see anyone with Finn!! Please, put him and his love-life to rest—poor Liz–I love Lizzie; faults and all, and she deserves a storyline befitting her persona–Enough playing with her life. Let her live happily with the right guy( or girl?) and enjoy it with her growing boys!!
The same goes for Jack Abbot’s love scenes–“Oh, that was wonderful—you were wonderful”—I don’t know, but does anyone really say that after sex? Lying there , looking all made up, no single hair out of place and breathing normally? Just shut up—it’s as real as that giant preemie.
And, as much as I love Rober Scorpio? The making-out scenes are not very palatable, either. Gross!! The smooching sounds …..ohhhh….
One more thing—get rid of Cody. Why is he still around, adding useless gas to the GH stage? One very insidious thought comes to mind—there was a mix-up, or something, Mac is, in fact, his bio dad, afterall. In the true Bubbles spirit, that’s the way it should be!!

They already showed Mac IS Cody’s father

Pmbarrentine–Really? When? The paternity test proved Mac was not the father. Did I misunderstand or miss an episode?

They originally didn’t show us the results. Cody lied because he wanted the necklace. That’s why he asked Mac if they could still hang out. He wants to have a relationship with his father. Later, in another episode, they showed Cody looking at the results. They showed that Mac is his father. Now that he thinks the necklace is gone he seems to regret lying.

I do not remember anything of what you say. Mac and Felicia and Cody all saw the DNA results together, which disclosed the fact that Mac was NOT the father—–However, it’s a soap, and as such there is a big chance that something happened (behind the scenes) to that test, ergo, Mac could turn out to be the father. It’s up in the air somewhere. Unless, Cody had a separate test done? —Or, I missed that episode/part. I’m not sure, so I won’t dispute it, TV.

Yes, the results showed Mac was 99.9% positive.

WOW—I completely missed that!! I thought it proved the opposite. Thanks for setting me straight!!

Celia, we both “misheard.” Why, then does everyone keep saying “Oh too bad Cody isn’t your son. But you can still be friends.” Mac, Felicia, even Cody are STILL saying it. I’m confused.

I know, Soaphound. I think we heard right and the others did not. LOL seriously, maybe they know something we don’t.
I distinctly remember how disappointed everyone was when the test proved that the other guy, who was married to his mother ( the owner of the necklace??) was 99.9 % the bio dad. Isn’t that the reason why Cody “inherited” the necklace. Maybe he changed the results just to get the necklace. I really don’t like him. Too bad if he is, indeed, Mac’s son—he’s a jerk and an opportunist.
More to the point, Mac being the father would have been too easy. That’s not how soaps work. Mac IS most likely the bio dad, but we will not find out for a while—-he or Cody will get sick or something—-just as I had predicted that Willow’s parentage would surface if she had a disease and needed a transfusion. It didn’t work out that way—-but, I came pretty close. Instead of a transfusion she needed stem cells.
So, you and I will hold strong that Mac is not the bio father, at this point—Remember this day—-the discovery will be made at a crucial point.

You are funny. I agree, he is so boring.

Satan
When will they realize that Joss might be a possible doner for Willow seeing as she has one of Nelle’s kidneys, might work, but then again, what about the many rumors of Willow leaving GH?

That would seem to be the obvious question wouldn’t it? Now they have Liesl being tested, but she’s a great aunt, so if Nina wasn’t a match, Liesl would be even less likely to be one.

Psycho Nelle would be the best possibility, of course, but even if she wasn’t hiding somewhere and playing dead, she wouldn’t be likely to help out her “new” sister willingly anyway. Which brings us to Joss. We don’t know how she could have been a match for Nelle, but she was, which is how she got a kidney. And if you’re compatible with one twin, you should also be with the other.

I’m a Devil, not a doctor, but I don’t think you need to pass the MCAT tests to figure that one out.

Violet
It’s down to 3 options – Either Liesl will be a match, Nelle returns from the dead and is a match or Willow dies. The long term possibilities of Liesl matching are too good and a surprisingly great choice by these writers.

Because of her kidney transplant Joss is not an eligible donor. On a show based in a hospital, medical consultants would point that out. (I had to google to confirm).

Doubt they’d off Willow now. That would make her join Abby, Sabrina, and her sisters Kiki and Nelle as Michael bored them all to death.

OG Steve
I had to laugh. She looked at least 2 months old and smiled at Michael the minute she saw him. I wonder at all the reports of Willow dieing?
Glad “Lizzie” mom came through for her. I like Adam Huss from before and it makes it a little easier to take the crap he’s shoveling at everyone.

Good one! That WAS a rosey cheeked premie

I’m crying 20lbs

LOL—Satan and I exchanged similar thoughts about the size of “the baby” on the other site—I called her a Giant preemie who came out cooing and smiling.
I wonder if she joined this world already clothed.
But. I must say “a 20-pound premature baby” takes the cake. LOL—

OG Steve
Your mention of Lulu got me thinking. Though I’ve never been a fan of her character, I might tolerate her if it meant getting rid of the nuisance Sam who likewise gets her nose into everyone’s business. Poor Dante, well I guess he’s used to it by now.

Violet
I’ve actually come to appreciate Sam more due to two factors: 1- the took her out of the mob/ride or die element and 2- Kelly Monaco’s episode guarantee was reduced so she’s on a lot less than she was pre-pandemic.

Kelly also seems to be enjoying the role again and they have brightened up her wardrobe.

I don’t know whose unrealistic idea it was to use a premature baby that large, but, I was laughingx and in disbelief, at how ridiculous that was!

Joanne
Agree, it’s so unbelievable just as using that adorable Donna who to me is of Middle Eastern descent to be Carly and Sonny’s child.

Why not just keep him around? There seems to be so much potential for the character. Unless they plan to bring Tyler Christopher back in the future which means my FF button will start seeing some action.

Tyler said he’s willing.

Doesn’t really matter if he’s willing, if the Disney/ABC legal team determines he isn’t able.

Ikr:-)

I don’t like this new Nicolas yuck

Totally agree, Cindy. Those golf ball eyes make me very uneasy. And he’s not much of an actor, either. Bad decision.

You’re not a fan, we get it. Lol. Golf ball eyes? That’s taking it a little far.

Adam Huss delivered an intense complexity of emotion yesterday- sorrow, angst and rage. And he managed to do so without overacting. His scenes with Laura and Spencer packed a powerful wallop. Finally, I felt something for Nikolas. And he really seems like a Cassadine. Marcus slept walked through his scenes, and he never felt like a Cassadine. While I’m hoping Tyler comes back as Nikolas, I wouldn’t mind if they kept Adam on. He passed the audition.

He’s a very poor actor and his eyes are very distracting boy I’ve been watching gh since I was a little girl and this guy doesn’t have it sorry get him acting sessions maybe that’ll help

Yeah. Facial grizzle is fine but he looks like a drink on a bender. He acts like it too.

Gees ladies.. I find him quite easy on the eyes… and I am not even gay !

Same here

I agree.

Adam Huss does no wrong!

OK ladies… Cindy, Soaphound (guessing), Kathy—That other Brian may not be gay, but I am and he’s very fine!

“Yuck” “Golf ball eyes” “drink (drunk?) on a bender”

Well, now let me tell you how wrong, wicked, and sinful you are for trashing a person for getting hired for a job.

The GH fans trashed the third Carley Jennifer Bransford to tears! That poor woman I thought did a great job, but people online attacked her looks and I’m not standing for it full stop!

hey Bryan

it all lower case brian … these days I consider myself sapiosexual. and yes, Adam Huss definitely brings more real emotion to his portrayal of Nicholas.

Hi brian, thanks for the note. Funny thing is you comment of being “easy on the eyes” I’d commented that earlier elsewhere about Adam’s new Nikolas.

While there was nothing wrong with the prior actor’s Marcus Coloma’s Nikolas, and I have no idea why the character was replaced as its really not my business—this NEW Adam Huss as Nikolas in my opinion is hands down the best looking so far!

Tyler Christopher is another hottie, but Adam has my vote!
Didn’t watch when Nick Stabile, Chris Beetem, or Coltin Scott played Nikolas.

I’m sure I’ll get some hate on this but please keep is nice like Dorinda might say!
Cheers!

I am happy to see Adam Huss as Nikolas. Wishing you, Adam all the best in this role. I hope you are the permanent replacement and here to stay.

Janet
My sentiments exactly!

I can’t imagine why they let Marcus Coloma go! He was the perfect Nicolas. Adam Huss just doesn’t bring the same vibe to the character. What a shame…

And you can tell this from one day?

He’d filled in before, and I think he’ll do fine as long as they have him. Who knows what will happen with the Nik character in the future?!?
I never believed Marcus Coloma‘s portrayal. To me, he always looked much too young to be Spencer’s dad, and especially Ava’s husband!!

Adam’s Nikolas emoted more in his scenes with Laura and Elizabeth than Marcus ever did in 3 years. Nikolas actually seemed remorseful and impacted by those around him.

Yes I agreed with everything you said. Can we give the new Adam a shot it’s just a few episodes. He is taking over from another actor, we have to give him time to make the role his. But Ava knocked him in the head so is he dead?

Marcus was lifeless and lacked the Cassadine intensity. Today Adam Huss WAS a Cassadine- he wasn’t dopey or goofy like Marcus. Adam was intense and emotionally riveting today with both Spencer and his mother. Finally, Genie and Nicholas have an actor worthy of their talent. If Friday’s show was an audition, I’d say Adam passed it with flying colors.

Harry
I agree, but is he dead or alive? I would have thought if they were really going to kill off Nicolas they could have used Coloma, not used the new guy for just a couple of times and then kill him off.

Violet
It all depends on what story you believe – Coloma was told his contract was not being renewed (I.e. let go) two weeks prior to his last filming date. The first story out had him refusing to show up to film those scenes. Later, his publicist said Marcus was exposed to Covid and ABC told him it wasn’t necessary to come in for safety reasons. Either way, Nik was written in episodes for two weeks that couldn’t be delayed so Huss was called in to finish the current story.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, it’s unlikely Nik is dead. They’ll rest the character for a while before a permanent recast takes over. Ava will be forced to return Spoon Island to Nik to avoid him turning her in for attempted murder.

I think they should have kept Marcus Coloma. I’m very disappointed he was let go.

His contract was up, he chose not to renew it. Wasn’t fired.

Melissa; that’s not true. The show chose not to renew his contract. Marcus was upset and blindsided.

No, ABC chose not to renew his contract. It wasn’t his decision. Whether one looks at that as being fired is just semantics.

I agree Heather. I wonder if we’ll find out why they didn’t renew his contract. So far no reason’s been given. I loved him in the role.

Tyler Christopher is THE ONLY Nik Cassadine- he or the one that just left- this one?! No-no-no.

I like Tyler Christopher as Nik
He is the best replacement

The only actor I’d like to see playing Nikolas other than Tyler Christopher would be Michael Muhney… I think he’d own the role, he was the best Adam Newman on Y&R. Sadly, I don’t think either actor will be taking over the role.

He’s too old to be Nikolas, and no one is going to hire him due to his history on both Y&R and Veronica Mars of allegedly sexually harassing female co stars.

Harry
That’s a hard thing to overcome and Eric Braeden not liking him didn’t help. He was probably black balled up one side and down the other by people of influence.

Good to finish up storyline but want Tyler back full time.

Yes, I agree or someone other than Huss. I liked Coloma, so why didn’t they just keep him?

Marcus was somnolent and unconvincing as a Cassadine. I want Tyler back as well but after watching Adam Huss deliver today, I wouldn’t mind him in the role either. He was brilliant.

Agreed!

Not glad at all. Hoping they’d bring back Tyler Christopher…

Agree!

Glad to see Adam back. He did such a fine job before, and will again. I liked all the actors playing Nikolas, a quite complex character indeed.

Bring back Tyler Christopher as Nikolas Cassadine!! IMO, He is the ONLY Nikolas Cassadine.

He doesn’t fit the part

I wish to see the original Nicholas back instead:-)

Don’t kill him off !!!

Please don’t kill of Nicolas Cassidine

I can’t stand him! They should have stayed with the current actor who was doing an awesome job! Bring back Tyler Christopher if you need a replacement. Horrible choice!

It’s ashame that they are having to change nice having Coloma play Nicholas he was very convincing. I enjoyed his acting .

I don’t think I can get used to this Nicholas. Why not bring back Tyler?

You probably won’t have to get used to him as internet buzz has Nikolas being written off the show by the end of the month.

OG Steve
That’s what I keep wondering, is he really dead and why is Austin getting so involved with Ava’s problems? Re: your other comment below about Stafford and Benard, just the thought is literally laughable, picturing the two of them together.

Yes, that adorable premature baby is HUGE! I don’t know why they couldn’t have at least tried to make it a little more realistic. As far as the replacement Nikolas, I have a feeling Heather is going to Hook him to death so he can’t take Esme’s baby. I do hope they wake LuLu up, or think about bringing Lucky back. Laura should have at least one child active and living in Port Charles. I’ve also been wondering if Cassandra Pierce is behind the Gatlin-Holt thing. She was great to have in Port Charles. Her wickedness was awesome.

It takes me a long time to get used to a new actor taking over for another actor in a part. Sometimes I never do. I came to really like Marcus. I do not care for the new actor so far. I also have to say that I still don’t like the actress who took over for the original Nina.

Agreed on it taking time with some recasts. I was glad to have Nikolas back on canvas but struggled with Coloma’s performance for the last year or so.

I’m just the opposite on Nina – Stafford and Benard would never gel the way he does with Watros.

Slow at first, but I have really come to like Tanisha Harper’s take on Jordan. Willing to give Ali a little more time as Trina before a final opinion.

Robin Mattson as Heather is probably one of my favorite actor/character performances in GH history. That said, knowing she couldn’t return, I’m fine with Mill’s portrayal.

I also agree that I liked Tyler Christopher the best and would be really happy if he came back.

Adam Huss is not a good choice to play Nikolas Cassadine. He stands there looking like somebody knocked the wind out of him with his mouth hanging open all the time… it needs to be a more mature, polished actor not this parade of wannabes. Sorry, but that’s how I feel.
Tyler Christopher is by far the best Nicolas! If only he could come back!

I don’t think we’re going to see much more of Temp-Nik.

That “goodbye” to Laura looked like the typical soapy foreshadowing “something bad is going to happen to this guy” thing.

And then he shows up at Windemere, not looking like he’s in a very good mood. So I’m thinking things get physical between him & Ava, and – pretty much like everytime somebody gets into an argument at that castle – Temp Nik falls off the parapet.

Of course we also know that most people survive that fall, though they often turn up missing for a while. So this gets Nikolas off canvas… he can be “presumed dead” for a while (though nobody should really believe that’s the case) and right around May sweeps he can turn up alive somewhere…. hopefully looking like his old self, assuming they can get those rumored “red tape” issues with ABC/Disney resolved, of course.

Agreed on the ominous scene with Laura. Supposedly Huss was brought it for two weeks of taping (probably three weeks of airtime).

Thought about the parapet idea but they used the living room set instead of the upstairs drawing room where the parapet is connected. Also with “cuz” Mason lurking, Ava might be in need of some rescuing.

Just hoping they don’t make the AJ mistake and decide to make Nik dead-dead.

Pretty sure Adam Huss was brought back in the finish up the few scenes that Marcus Coloma refused to film. What happens after is up in the air.

Yay! He’s the one I hoped would be the new Nikolas. He plays the character really darkly. Is more mature than Marcus and has great chemistry with Ava

It was obvious the writers were going to kill Nik off after destroying his character, that I am ok with, but having Ava be a cold blooded murderer and kill him so stupidly! Yuck. That I cannot forgive. Destroy Nik, ok, but also Ava in the process is despicable. I am disgusted with the denouement of this long story and have zero respect for the Ava or Austin characters. The writers have destroyed them all.

To be fair, Ava was already a cold blooded murderer. She killed ConKate simply because she figured out that “Derek Wells” was an alias for Julian Jerome. Then she planned to murder AJ to cover up that crime, only her $1.98 WalMart gun jammed up when she tried to shoot him. The gun went off when Sonny picked it up, so some mortals forget that Ava’s the one who already pulled the trigger. Furthermore, AJ actually survived the gunshot, only to have a bizarre “cardiac arrest” while recovering in the hospital. Nobody ever bothered investigating that, but I say Ava tampered with his IV – either injecting a drug or even an air bubble. After all, AJ still knew the truth about ConKate’s murder, so Ava needed him to shut up about that… permanently.

Her tampering with Morgan’s bipolar meds is what put him in Julian’s car when it blew up. Of course she has to “share” credit for that one with her crazy sister Olivia, who planted the bomb, and perhaps even Julian himself, since Olivia only wanted him dead because he killed Duke Lavery.. who Olivia had been in”love” with since the late 1980s. Call that one a “Jerome Family Project”, if you will.

She wasn’t directly responsible for killing her own daughter, Kiki. But you have to be careful when you repeatedly tell a serial killer that you wish somebody was dead. Ryan – in his sick mind – though he was giving her exactly what she wanted.

And of course there’s Nikolas. Yeah, we know he’s not dead, and by now, Ava has realized he might not be… but for months she believed he was, and didn’t at all feel any remorse about bashing his head in.

I’m the Devil so I’m hardly one to expect anybody in Port Charles to act like harp playing members of Heaven’s symphony orchestra. But let’s set the record straight….. Ava’s got away with a HELL of a lot of things.

I truly enjoyed Marcus as Nicholas ! Please let ‘s have Him back !

I really miss Tyler Christopher. I wish they could get someone more like him.

Why was Michael and Willow’s new baby so BIG. It’s kind of insulting to the audience. We all know what a premature baby looks like and that kid look like she could have driven herself to this studio that day for taping. I guess it makes it more plausible that she was delivered by cesarean because the alternative would have killed Willow if she came out for the birth canal.

And I really hope that they’re not going to kill off Nicholas with so many story lines swirling around him right now.
IE…
His fractured relationship with Spencer.
The layers of criminal activity.
What’s going on with him and Elizabeth.
What’s going on with him and Esme.
What’s going on with him and Victor.
His unresolved issues with Ava.
This new offspring.
We really don’t need to see Laura going through that level of heartache.
I would hope the show is not going to completely leave all that drama just dangling unresolved.

But then again General Hospital is somewhat famous for starting a storyline and then getting lost. Like how long it took for Peter to finally get his comeuppance. That took way too long. And I’m sorry the actor that played Peter was good at his job but he just didn’t translate as scary as the other characters were making him out to be. When he would have those sinister scenes it was more funny than anything else.

Then you kill off Franco only to bring the same actor back as a new character. And then he seemingly doesn’t do much. What was the point? It kind of makes you wonder if there was some sort of personal issue between the actor that played Franco and the actress that plays Elizabeth. If they didn’t personally get along then they just could have broken the two characters up.

Is anyone else bothered and or confused by the Jocelyn Jack’s storyline. For me I always thought it was kind of strange that you get your sextape exposed to the world but it seemingly doesn’t bother you very much. I think the average person would be mortified. And now they’ve turned the character into this femme fatale who seemingly just doesn’t have the same level of concern for people the way she once had. She feels justified in breaking Cameron’s heart because she feels they grew apart but didn’t let him know that they had grown apart. And then when Cameron finds out that she’s been sleeping with Dex she has the nerve to ask him to keep it to himself to protect Dex.

And don’t get me started on Nina Reeves. Are we supposed to like her? Are we supposed to hate her? Are we supposed to feel sorry for her? Are we supposed to feel empathy for her? She keeps Sonny from his family for almost a year he for whatever reason doesn’t care and then they end up together. One moment she’s crying for the child (and now children) that she was never able to raise on her own. And then the next moment she’s being catty and making up stories about Willow and TJ.

And Michael having relationships with fraternal twin sisters at completely different times was way too much of a stretch. THEY’RE NO COINCIDENCES THAT BIG. Just because you’re hey soap opera doesn’t mean that you always have to write stereotypical soap opera story lines still in 2023.

And one other point I would like to make the issues with Curtis’s father are getting a bit boring at this point. For me the storyline never made a lot of sense. You left your family 40 years ago because you were diagnosed with schizophrenia. But you came looking for that same family now but you still have this diagnosis. And the character always seems to have this chip on his shoulder for some strange reason. It’s always pushing Curtis to these weird levels of concern. But the character never seem to have begged forgiveness for being gone from his families lives. And that first scene that he had with Jordan giving her attitude about the fact that she had cheated on his son was laughable. Weren’t you the one that abandoned your child but now you want to throw shade at his ex-wife.

And one more (one more) thing. I really hope that they’re going to give nurse Epiphany Johnson a better send off than just saying that she’s at medical School in another state. The actress who recently passed away had been with the show for a very long time and she deserves better. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST HER. Give her a proper exit the way that you have in the past with other actors who were still with the show when they died. Actually when the actor that played Sean Donnelly passed away in real life he was given a grandiose death storyline and he hadn’t been on the show in years.

Come through for us General Hospital. Don’t let the audience down. AGAIN!

I think Marcus Coloma is great as Nicolas! Real chemistry with Ava!!! Huss is big and brooding and not interesting. Bring back Marcus!!!

I think when Ava goes to dump the body it will be missing.

I think Adam Huss terrible actor. Why would he play Ava’s husband when he is gay and married to a man in real life. Can’t feel real watching a married couple when he is a gay man. If he plays Nickalas i will fast forward through his parts. I don’t like to see gay men kiss women on TV screen

Well, clutch your purse, because gay men have been kissing women on daytime since soaps were broadcast in black and white – they just couldn’t be out in real life back then. How about straight men kissing other men? Should Brad be straight because Parry Shen is?

It’s acting. Huss had more chemistry with West than Coloma. Live with it.

You are utterly ridiculous! Do you not know all those people are just actors playing a part? Does it feel any better watching a “married” couple go home to other people?

General Hospital

Elizabeth MacRae, ‘General Hospital’s’ Meg Baldwin, Passes Away at 88

Veteran actress, Elizabeth MacRae best-known as the third Meg Baldwin on General Hospital and as Gomer Pyle’s girlfriend, Lou-An Ann Poovie, in Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C has died at the age of 88. MacRae passed away in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where she grew up.
