A new character will hit The Young and the Restless canvas on August 15th when former The Fosters cast member, Anna Grace Barlow, makes some appearances for a few episodes on the CBS daytime drama series.

Anna will arrive in Genoa City in the role of Zoe Hardisty, according to Soap Opera Digest.

Zoe is said to share, “a surprising connection with a member of Genoa City’s jet set.”  Who will it be?

Y&R over the last few months has made changes in front of the camera with certain actors exiting the show, and other former stars returning to their most soap-famous roles.

So, who do you think Zoe will be connected to on the canvas? What do you think about Y&R’s reset of its show? Comment below.

Look out Kyle! Here comes trouble!

kyle

Someone connected to Chance Chancelor?

I hope so, T. I’d love to have Chance back—–apparently, he’s not the good guy we knew, LOL….ye gods have gone and changed him, if we are to listen to rumor.
I do not like Kyle—-as I have stated many times before, this guy attached himself to Miss Goody Two Shoes, Lola, because she’s ‘different’ in his rich-boy eyes. She’s a novelty to be explored.
Then, there’s menopausal Sharon playing the part of a thirty-year old, it seems…..Plus, wasn’t she in bed with Rey just a few days ago? Where’s the heartbreak?? Nah….doesn’t work thst way unless one’s a sl*t. Nah—doesn’t eirk that way. These writers better put the reins on their ‘ pen’–
She’s old enough to be NuAdam’s Mommy!! More like his Mummy!!
Miraculously, she’ll find herself in a pickle–pregnant. But, whose baby is it? Here we go again—-Rey will be in the same obnoxious situation as he was with Mia–when will they ever learn?
Hey, writers—-please do not repeat the same story over and over again….I beg you.—-do something different for once. Separate these two before the plot becomes a farce.
Sorry for the rant, T……Sharon is gorgeous; looks great for her age. But, c’mon—I feel the same about the age difference between Victor and Nikki. So, I’m not being sexist. I think it’s gross. Adam should not have been aged in the first place. But, since TPTB did, then they should have ‘found’ an actor in his forties to replace Adam—-not someone younger than Noah. He looks his age–
Bye, love….

Join the discussion…Hi Celia! Although a long time viewer, I travelled for about seven which left me bereft of some characters. Who is “Chance”? Not sure I recall. Thanks for your peppy insights. Best!

Tani

Chance is Nina’s son—-remember Nina, who married young Philip?
I am on vacation….took a little respite by checking in—
Talk soon, my friend❤️

Thanks Celia. Yes, I do remember Nina, and I think Philip is recalled. He had an uncanny resemblance to Tom Cruise. Certainly could have my characters confused. Didn’t he jump out of a window or something! Thanks again!

Tani

In agreement again! Sharon is making me crazy! For two years she had it together, but once junior shows up she loses it? Ugh!!!

My guess is someone from kyle and Theo’s time in NY. Another reason for Lola to hold something against Kyle.

I think your guess is a gem, Lew—–the girl in the cab?—–just finished watching —here and there, LOL.
She comes to GC to announce she’s pregnant with Kyle’s baby!!
That must be the “sinful” mystery about kyle’s NYC’s story.
Later, my friend❤️

Yes, Once again Celia we are on the same page! Have a good evening

The show sucks right now – josh is the worse soap writer of all times !

It will be Kyle. His friend Zach is trying to cause trouble between him and Lola .. and he’s annoyed Kyle doesn’t want to play all the time.

Lol another newbie, this chick will be Kyle baby mama, that’s what I heard. Enough with the newbies. Please bring back Nina and the evil Sheila Carter, Grainger, Forrester, Warwick.

It’s Theo – he is bringing her/Zoe in to mess up Kyles wedding.
He wants his buddy back and to get even.
She is from Kyles past..
The soaps are more than obvious lol..

I don’t care for the coupling of Lola and Kyle–
they are beyond boring.
I hope they do break up .

I agree with you. Kyle and Lola, Tessa and Mariah, Devon and Elena: They’re like watching paint dry, but less interesting.

I agree. Paint is actually refreshing!

Hey Timmm…good one…lol. Yep.

Has to be Kyle and someone from his past in NY

No room for Devon’s sister, but adding another to the cast?

If she’s in GC just long enough to drive Lola away, then more power to her.
That said, Y&R is overwhelmed with these new, uninteresting characters.

Probably Kyle since Theo is so jealous and want to blow up Kyle’s wedding.

I suppose everyone’s leaning toward Kyle, and rightfully so. However, just to stir the pot by making it less obvious, I suggest Tessa’s former love interest.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Alimi Ballard’s Role Revealed as WSB Agent William Baines Who Oversees Jack Brennan Investigation

Published

on

By

Alimi Ballard

The Thursday, September 3 episode of General Hospital featured the debut of former Loving and The City actor, Alimi Ballard (ex-Frankie Hubbard).

Now some 30 years later, Ballard is back on ABC daytime, but this time as was revealed today, he is playing WSB agent William Baines who arrives in Port Charles to oversee the disappearance of Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).

Here’s what went down; after Josslyn (Eden McCoy) reported Brennan missing to the WSB, agent William Baines met her at the Port Charles bureau office. It was there that Baines informed Josslyn he was taking over the search for Jack.

Josslyn kept trying to stay on the case telling Baines she had connections with many people in Jack’s inner circle in Port Charles. However, Baines instructed her to keep on her current assignment as CEO of JJE. When she questioned why implanting her at her father’s company was so important, Baines shared she needs to get inside intel on JJE’s subsidiary holdings. Once she does, she will be briefed on what comes next.

DREW FRAMES NINA

In addition, Baines wanted to be briefed on what Josslyn knows so far about the MIA Brennan. One theory from the WSB is that Jack skipped town because of how badly the Cold Fusion debacle went down on Spoon Island.  Then, as Josslyn brought up how her mother Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) witnessed a public shouting match between Jack and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Baines pulls out a photo of Nina from his folder.

As if things couldn’t get worse for Nina, Drew (Cameron Mathison) broke into her car, planted evidence of Jack’s wallet under the seat as retribution for her trying to kill Drew when she pushed him in his wheelchair into the lake at the boathouse. Drew snarled that “payback is bitch” as he sat in the driver’s seat of her car.

So, what are your initial thoughts on the arrival of WSB agent William Baines? Do you think he may wind up as Jack’s successor as the WSB Port Charles bureau chief ? What did you think of Drew framing Nina for Jack’s death? Share your thoughts via the comment section below. But first, check out the confrontation between Drew and Nina with Ava present.
