Damian asks Paul and Emily if they know where Meg is. Paul denies, but Emily grows uneasy as Damian expounds upon what a threat Meg is. Once Damian leaves, Emily makes her reservations known. Paul goes to ask Damian and Lily not to press criminal charges against Meg. Meg comes up from the wine cellar and she and Emily argue about what to do. Mick walks in and surveys the scene, after recently speaking to Barbara about how she’d like for Eliza and herself to be the only women in Paul’s life. Mick secretly calls the police, imitating the voice of a woman. The police arrive at Fairwinds and Meg fleas with Eliza. When Paul hears he assumes Emily tipped them off and berates her for it. Damian and Lily are horrified to learn Meg’s on the loose. Meg has taken off with Eliza.  Alison finds them in a stairwell at the hospital.  Dr. Wilson from Deerbrook is called as Paul has suggested to Meg that she not put up a fight right now, just to lay low and be cool off about things.

Craig begs Carly to join him for one last Vitamin Water meeting that could help ensure a financially sound future for Parker. Parker agrees to go too, but then receives a text message from Craig stating the weather conditions are too poor to drive in. Craig picks Carly up for the meeting anyway. On the way out of town Craig tells Carly Parker won’t be coming because his practice ran late, but when Parker calls her Carly realizes Craig tricked her into spending time with him and she demands him to turn around. Jack, at Milltown with Parker, suspects Craig kidnapped Carly. Carly and Craig fight for the wheel and go careening off the road.  Jack and Janet try to reconnect, but in the name of honesty Janet tells Jack that she kissed Dusty. Jack berates her. He later berates Dusty who tells him to place the blame upon himself. Jack starts to see things their way and apologizes to Janet. They make a plan to spend New Years together. Margo gets Jack to consider coming back to the force in exchange for his wanting to use traffic records to find where Craig and Carly went.  He does, and she grants him access.  Jack follows Craig and Carly to the rustic cabin, leaving his car on the side of the road.  Carly doesn’t want to stay with Craig, so she has left the cabin by the time Jack arrives. She finds his car, but also finds that it won’t start.  Jack and Carly stumble on an old copper bathtub, so they reminisce about how this seems so familiar.  Craig comes back to the cabin sicker than he was before, having fallen through the top of a frozen pond.  They give him a bath to warm him up and clean him off, and then put him to bed.  Jack and Carly grow closer.  Janet and Dusty make love to ring in the New Year.  Dusty and Johnny share time together.

Casey wants to marry Alison.  He talks to Nancy about it and she gives him her engagement ring, from her marriage to Chris. Casey tells her he’s considering becoming a lawyer like his dad.  Nancy’s very proud.  Casey has plans to meet Alison at the Lakeview, but she goes to the Hillside church and will be there later.  She goes there for Mick, who becomes threatening but Casey arrives to save the day.  At the church anteroom, he proposes to her, officially. Hunter successfully flirts with Maddie.  He also tells her his first name: Lyon.  He also blurts out about Casey’s engagement, which affects Maddie.  Hunter protects Maddie in the dark after the lights go out at WorldWide.  Mick has seen Casey propose to Alison.  Alison has suggested Valentine’s Day as a nice day to get married.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Thomas Gets Creepy As The Hope Mannequin Talks To Him

Leave it to the good folks over at The Bold and the Beautiful to incorporate a play on their headline-grabbing mannequin use during Covid-19.  B&B was the first American television show back in production during the pandemic, and its executive producer and head writer, Brad Bell, told the media how they were using mannequins in several scenes in place of real actors when it comes to some intimate moments between characters.  Since the time, the show has also brought in real-life partners of their cast members when needed for a make-out scene, etc.

And that brings us to Thursday’s shocking reveal on the CBS daytime drama series, when Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), who seemed to be a more centered-version of himself of late, takes home with him the Hope for the Future shipment and opens the box.  He is for a surprise when inside the box is a lifelike mannequin of Hope  (Annika Noelle).  And from there, things spiral out of control, as viewers learned Thomas’ obsession with Hope is alive and well.

Thomas just can’t believe how life-like the mannequin of Hope is – saying to himself, “No wonder they use it for the Hope for the Future line.”  But then  after he takes the mannequin out of the box, it starts talking to him … in Hope’s voice, begging him to allow her to stay there with him and not put her back in the boX saying, .Please don’t lock me up in that box again.   I’ve been away from you too long… I know you want to be with me too.”  Then, Thomas who is having a very hard time between reality and this apparent hallucination shouts: “You’re not real!” What’s wrong with me?”

Perhaps Liam said it best earlier in the episode when Hope was speaking about Thomas to him, when he uttered.“I get creeped out just thinking about Thomas.”

Watch some of the Hope-mannequin action with Thomas below. Then weigh-in, what do you think of this plot twist? Share your thoughts in the comment section,

DANCING WITH THE STARS: Chrishell Stause Shares & Performs Emotional Tribute To Her Late Parents

It has been a challenging few years for former soap and current Selling Sunset star, Chrishell Stause, who is currently still in the running for the Mirror Ball Trophy following Monday night’s competition on Dancing with the Stars.

Last night, Chrishell shared in the pre-dance package that she was performing a contemporary routine with her pro partner, Gleb Savchenko, in honor of both of her parents who died from lung cancer in July of 2020 and April 2019.

Stause expressed: “They were really loving people. Some of my best memories are with my mom, dancing with her in the living room.  No one would be more excited about me being here and doing the show than her.” (referring to her mom who passed away this summer).  She continued on to say: “Right before I dance, I really feel her calm me, encourage me. That has been the most special thing I will take away from this show.  I know that my parents are with me. My mom’s name was Renee Stause, and my dad’s name was Jeff Stause. And this dance is for them.”

Dancing to “Stars” by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Chrishell and Gleb delivered the most emotional performance of the night.  And the judges took notice, as Carrie Ann Inaba said to Stause: “You poured your heart and soul into that dance.   Bruno added: “That was so emotionally engaging, so raw, so truthful, irresistible because you gave everything you have.”  While the three judges including Derek Hough also gave a rougher technical critique of her to improve upon next week, Chrishell and Gleb still scored all eights and 24 out of 30 overall.

At the end of the night, during the reveal of who was safe and who was in the bottom two, host Tyra Banks revealed that Chrishell and Gleb were safe.

Then, after combining the scores and fans’ votes, in the bottom two were Johnny Weir and Vernon Davis.  In a close decision, Derek chose to save Johnny, and Carrie Ann chose Vernon. So, it was up to Bruno to cast the deciding vote and he saved Johnny, sending Davis, the former NFL Pro football star, home.

Watch Chrishell’s emotional dance below.   Then let us know if you are rooting for Chrishell and what you thought of the very personal story she shared last night via the comment section below.

DANCING WITH THE STARS: Jesse Metcalfe Eliminated, Chrishell Stause Gets A Surprise From NKOTB

Last night on  ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, another soap opera alumni’s journey on the ballroom dance floor came to an end, when Jesse Metcalfe’s (Passions, Desperate Houswives and Dallas) ) and his pro partner, Sharna Burgess, were sent home by the judges after landing in the bottom two.

After combining the judges scores and fan voting at home, the other couple joining Jesse and Sharna in the bottom two were  Vernon Davis and Peta Murgatroyd.  This season it is up to the judges to choose who stays and who goes when forced with picking between the two lowest scoring couples of the night.. Bruno chose Vernon, Carrie Ann followed and Derek also revealed he would have saved Davis or Metcalfe as well.

With Metcalfe eliminated following last’s week’s departure of Ex-Another World’s Anne Heche, that leaves only Chrishell Stause still in the running vying for the Mirror Ball Trophy from the world of daytime drama.

Here’s a recap of what went down on the dance floor for Metcalfe, Stause and Davis last night.

Jesse Metcalfe and Sharna Burgess – (Tango) – “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”

Dancing to the classic by Tears for Fears, Metcalfe promised in the pre-package to loosen up and show a more human and vulnerable side to his dancing.  However, although there was a bit more coming from Jesse this outing, the judges criticized him for needing more technique than just performance. SCORE 19 out of 30

Chrishell Stause and Gleb Savchenko (Cha-Cha)  – “The Right Stuff”

Revealing to all on the pre-package, Chrishell is a huge New Kids on the Block fan from back in her teens, and was stoked to dance to their song during the night’s 80’s competition,   However, during the performance, while Stause has shown improvement, this time the judges noted she seemed to slow down to much during the dance and also she needs to watch her footwork.  After Gleb and Chrishell danced, Tyra Banks had a surprise for Chrishell when the NKOTB sent in a viral video message to their biggest fan!  Stause was overjoyed.  SCORE 19 out of 30

Vernon Davis and Peta Murgatroyd –  (Tango) – “Living’ on a Prayer”

Performing to Bon Jovi’s classic “Living on a Prayer”, Davis donned some rocker dude long locks and hit the floor with Murgatroyd, but the former pro football star looked stiff moving around the ballroom.  Judge Bruno noted that his footwork was a bit flat.  However, Carrie Ann shared she liked the quality of movement he was showing them.  SCORE 21 out of 30

So after looking at the clips of their performances below, did the right person get sent home in Metcalfe vs. Davis?  Do you think Chrishell can hold out longer on the series through the next rounds of competition?  Let us know in the comments section. (Also check out the moment when NKOTB message to Stause is played during the broadcast.)
