According to the series, Mosley, Young, and Tom will visit iconic South African landmarks Table Mountain and Soweto as well many cultural, heritage and entertainment sites. Their visit will also include appearances at Mall of Africa & Maponya Mall in Johannesburg. A private event hosted by the stars will feature an interactive karaoke session alongside prominent South African celebrities, as well as a meet and greet with contest winners.

The B&B cast visit coincides with the new B&B Saturday morning omnibus broadcast starting of October 14th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on SABC3.

“I’m so thankful that after 30 years, our South African viewers and our broadcaster, SABC3, remain an integral part of our extended television family,” said The Bold and the Beautiful Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell. “To celebrate this occasion, we’re sending Karla, Heather, and Jacob in person to convey our warm greetings and gratitude to our fans.”

I think one reason is that the show still sticks to the half hour format. I can’t say great stories because all the shows have great stories. It is good to see that this show reaches out to so many people in the world. We should see many more years of B&B with news like this.

The international embrace of B&B is notable but I think the serial is produced with that in mind, hence the lack of depth. It plays like telenovelas where the over-the-top surprises and endless bedroom dances serve as forefront plots. That approach makes it my least favorite of the four legacy daytime dramas on the air now. But I will never deny this unprecedented success, a factor that keeps CBS the lone network that embraces daytime as a viable programming option and promotes it.

I keep hoping that NBC and ABC take notes from… CBS

before it’s too late

BUILD around your daytime . respectively, we all want this genre to survive

hats off to CBS

another hope – that NBC and ABC – know – that their daytime would be gone if not for – Days of OUR Lives and General Hospital

B&B didn’t get this way by being unadventurous and ugly… 🙂

“that” is a powerplay pic.. if ever

which should be the “sole” focus of this show

who’s tired of : Brooke and Ridge? I’d throw Katie in that , as well

this show ought to be all about : Rick and Maya period

for it to be relevant and show
