He’s just a humble groundskeeper who loves the game of Big Brother. He actually wanted to have his beard shaved but the show doesn’t want to let him do that. he actually looks very young without his beard.

It seems to be that real and dedicated Actors are seeking out roles and in need of work, especially considering the lack of daytime dramas being produced. I don’t mean to sound “preachy” but show-business or should I say the so-called “entertainment field” most certainly isn’t what it used to be with all the Reality garbage out there. I’m not a young guy anymore but I can tell you if I were a young actor today I would feel challenged by the lack of dramatic acting opportunities.

TOTALLY AGREE….what qualifies for an “actor” these days is disrespectful to those who actually did their time and studied, honed their skills and worked their way up the ladder!!!! SMH I don’t wwatch ANY Reality shows for that reason! It’s ALL Trash!

Acting as a profession has always been and always will be highly competitive, and the advent of reality television certainly hasn’t help, but this is just shameless cross promoting of CBS shows. Donny isn’t the first BB fan favorite to get a bit role on the soap. It isn’t a steady gig, although if Donny is given some lines, he could be get his union card and go for other roles, but based on what I saw on BB this summer, this guy isn’t likely to go the Hollywood route. I have known actors, and those who are truly passionate… Read more »

Donny’s a sweetheart– not sure he will feel comfortable with all those Hollywood types, but wish him well on his appearance–most likely it will be just a walk on, or a short term gig.

Big Brother was pre empted in NY last night, So here I am settled in to watch. Halfway through episode I click on MichaelFairman soaps and BAM the episode is spoiled for me. There should be a 24 hour rule on posting spoilers or at least a warning. So if the show comes on at 8:00pm , you have until the next night at least to watch before somebody ruins it. Just my thoughts

And just mine. Sometimes that happens so i’ve learned to stay off the internet..especially sites that provide East Coast spoilers until i’ve watched the show without inadvertently finding out because I just couldn’t wait. Good lesson to learn. And why on EARTH would you be watching a show you love and surfing the internet at the same time instead of waiting until the show was over??? SMH…there shouldn’t be a rule on posting aired shows…there should just be common sense rules for people on the net..which most of us utilize.

HEY MICHAEL, I AM FROM NC SO I WAS PULLING FOR DONNIE. I ALREADY KNEW HE WOULDN’T WIN CAUSE HE WAS A GOOD GUY. HE HAD FEELINGS OF RIGHT & WRONG WHICH U CAN’T HAVE IN BIG BROTHER. THEY KNEW DONNY WOULD WIN IF THEY WERE IN THE FINAL 2. I HOPE DONNIE SHOWS THEM WHAT A WINNER REALLY IS WHEN THEY SEE HIM ON THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. HE IS WHAT A REAL SOUTHERNER OF NC CAN BE. SO PROUD OF HIM.

I agree edna I am in the process of moving to nc in oct and I was pulling for Donny also..i think he shows real character and he was very kind to everyone..that is why he lost..they should get that damn Victoria out I cant stand her and derrick

My hometown was Emerald Isle, NC, and I too pulled for Donny, as did my husband and father in law, btw we are in TN. Donny would have had a chance to make it to the final 2 if he would have strategized a little more and picked which people to confide too. His only true ally in the game was Nicole. I think Donny might be a little out of place on B&B, but at the same time I think he can pull it off. I really don’t see what the rush in getting Victoria out is, I mean… Read more »

Vicky… be nice!! You really should have tuned in to know who and what he is all about.. He is a great guy with the biggest heart… He has and had everyone in that house “heart” growing a few notches bigger because they had the experience with him. He is not an actor, but cbs is trying to capitalize on the younger Big Brother Audience to get them to turn into Bold and Beautiful Do not worry.. he will only be there for one or two episode and will not be a main character.. … Many of you are judging… Read more »

Donnie is not going to take a job Away from anyone, he will do a couple scenes with few lines. I think it is a nice gesture to give him a little attention post big brother. He was my reason to watch Big brother this summer, what a kind, genuine human being. If only he could have won the veto. He would need to win HOH as well to advance. He would win the game if he made finals. I would love to see him on the Amazing Race. I see nothing wrong with CBS milking his popularity.

Michael B. Jordan Recalls His Acting Start as All My Children’s Reggie in SNL Opening Monologue

Last night, Michael B. Jordan hosted Saturday Night Live.  The Creed star, who is the director of the upcoming Creed III due out in March, took to the stage to deliver his opening monologue, and right off the top he mentioned his beginnings as All My Children’s Reggie.

Jordan portrayed Reggie from 2003-2006 on the ABC soap opera (his character was eventually adopted by Jack Montgomery).

When Michael hit the stage, he shared: “Yesterday, I had a crazy full-circle moment. We pre-shot some videos for the show and when I got to the studio I realized it was the exact same place where I shot one of my first acting roles on the soap opera All My Children.

Photo: ABC

He then tossed to a clip of his 16-year-old self in which Reggie says, “sometimes the animal in me gets kind of crazy” and then howls life a wolf at the end of the scene. Back to the SNL stage, Jordan said mockingly, “I’m pretty sure I hit puberty mid-howl.”

Jordan ended his monologue by looping it back to his early acting days on AMC, sharing: “I just want to say, I’m so grateful to be standing on this stage. Sometimes, I can take myself a little too seriously but tonight, I’m going to have fun, I’m just going to go for it. And maybe, just maybe let the inner animal get a little crazy.”

Watch Michael’s opening monologue below.  Then let us know, what did you think of the the AMC Reggie clip reference? Do you recall Michael’s days on the ABC daytime drama series? Comment below.
