I’m glad Jordan is coming back. Perhaps she will help Ben get re-established in life. Whatever the reason, it will be good to see Chrishell Hartley again.

Really????? Oh, WOW!! What a gift!! She will be Ben’s guardian angel. If my memory serves me right, it was after she left that Ben started manifesting his depraved behavior. I know I am not supposed to feel sorry for Ben, but, he exhibits such a pitiful picture at the moment….I can’t help but feel sorry for him. I was so taken with todays’s scene where he was forced to leave Ciera’s …..I almost voiced, ” You can come stay at my place”…HaHa!! Perhaps, Jordan has the key to unlock the mystery as to why Ben went from a good… Read more »

Her statement makes it sounds like Jordan’s going to have a darker side this go around. She’s probably also going to help redeem Ben too. I’ll bet it’s short term return as most are lately on Days.

I’m sure she will be used as part of ReRon’s agenda to turn Ben into Frodd 2.0. Jordan will probably tell him that Redneck Clyde wasn’t actually his father. And that he was fathered by Don Craig shortly after he somehow got lost walking to the mailbox and disappeared sometime in the early 1980s.

Lol!! Good post! I wonder if DAYS will ever resolve what happened to Don Craig or Neil Curtis. Both just…disappeared! Really shabby treatment for two commanding leading men of their day!!

Great news. Quite bizarre as was just thinking she should return so Ben could have someone in his court. I always wondered what she would have thought of what Ben did after she left, as he was always a good brother to her.

Ditto. I was just thinking this, while watching Ben mope about how he had “no one” who cares about him. I’m fast-forwarding through the current episodes, as it’s really ho-hum lately. I’d be okay with Hope exhibiting discomforted distortions over Rafe’s wandering eye for Jordan, to accompany her conniptions over Ciara salivating for Ben. It would be great if they did something cool and high-tech with Steve’s new bionic eye, perhaps helping out his detective agency. But they won’t. They never addressed why they didn’t replace Steve’s empty patch area with the bionic eye, or why they didn’t give him… Read more »

They did give Steve Patch Johnson an extra eye back in the late 80s, but I think it was not a popular decision as it changed his character, so he lost that eye again.

I wondered about the two bionic eyes thing myself. Only thing I could think of is that because it had been decades since that eye had been removed, there was no longer a live optic nerve there to attach it too. As opposed to his current eye, which was still biologically intact, though non-functional. They would have had to create a fake optic nerve and wire it completely into his brain, which is probably a bit too sci-fi for a procedure that was supposed to appear medically credible.

At least they didn’t go with the Geordie LaForge spray-painted banana comb thing!

Stop!!!!! You guys are killing me….bionic eyes? Stevie go….an extra eye? I am dying laughing here!!
Someone went to the mailbox and never came back?? ( I know—figure of speech?) …..still unbearably hilarious…
I have to ask my Gran about Neil Curtis? Don Craig?
You guys should do a comedy act together!!

Daytime Emmys Land Two-Year Deal At CBS; NATAS Reveals This Year’s Broadcast Set For June 25th

Some great news for daytime fans!  Following a deal announced today between National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and CBS, the network now has a two-year deal to broadcast the Daytime Emmy Awards.

CBS will present this year’s 48th Annual Daytime Emm Awards, on Friday, June 25 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network and it will stream live and on demand on Paramount+.   This will mark the 15th time CBS has broadcast the Daytime Emmy Awards, more than any other network. CBS also aired last year’s Daytime Emmys amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition, this is the first time since 2008 that one network will broadcast both the Daytime and Primetime Emmy awards in the same year. CBS last hosted both specials in 2005.

The Daytime Emmy Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in daytime television programming since 1974.  The awards are presented to programs broadcast between 2:00 AM and 6:00PM, as well as all forms of children’s television programming and certain categories of streaming and syndicated content.

NATAS also revealed today that this year’s Daytime Emmys are the most competitive ever, with more than 3,100 submissions featuring content that originally premiered in calendar-year 2020, judged by a pool of peer professionals from across the television industry.

The 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be produced by NATAS and Associated Television International (ATI), which produced Daytime Emmy Award ceremonies on The CW in 2009 and on CBS in 2010, 2011 and 2020. Adam Sharp and Steve Ulrich are executive producers from NATAS, while David McKenzie is executive producer and director from ATI.

So excited about the Daytime Emmys will return to network TV for two more years guaranteed, and that we have a date for this year’s presentation this summer? Comment below.
