Christie Clark Returns To DAYS!

Fan Favorite Christie Clark will be reprising her role as Carrie on Days of our Lives.

Look for Christie’s return beginning on the February 1st episode.

In story, Carrie comes back to Salem to help her parents, Roman (Josh Taylor) and Anna (Leann Hunley) in their time of need.

Is Anna going to be in massive hot water from Andre’s (Thaao Penghlis) murder? Is she the culprit?

The last time Carrie was back in Salem was around Valentine’s Day of 2017, when she and Austin attended Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) wedding.

No word as to the length of time Clark will be on the canvas this time, but it appears to be for a visit.

So, excited to see Carrie back on the Salem scene? Comment below.

Do you think Anna will be charged for Andre’s murder, Patrick?…..nice to see Carrie be there for her mother for moral support.
You and 4ever always navigate well through plotlines….so, what is going on with John????

I have no clue… I just read that yesterday in SOD… I was at the grocery store . and “picked” it up to peruse I do wish tho… that by some form of miracle.. that the show could just fix and correct this. I think it was JimH who said… just do it . plus it’s coming across at his age… hoakey? you know? with his leather jacket… pirate no more we need to start taking him more serious.. so he can really be more believable. in this day and age… glass eye…let’s let Stephen Nichols be , sexier do… Read more »

Yayyyyy!…was just wondering the other day how Carrie should return to see her parents reunited!
Christies a beautiful actress who should be brought back to Days longterm. If Austins not returning too i hope we get to see her mix it up with Lucas and Rafe and her brother Eric.

I agree, she should be back for good, and Lucas and Rafe with Carrie would be interesting.

Great news! I’ve always loved Carrie/Christie Clark. I wish she was back long term instead of for a visit. She has so many ties in Salem, especially with her family. I’ll have to write to nbc, Days and Ron C. and urge them to bring her back for good.

I am so glad she is back, I hope it is for a long period of time, if not I’m going to enjoy every second of her return. I live in the time periods that Christie was on days. 1986 – January 1991 and Late December 1992 – 1999. She a favorite along with Drake Hogestyn for me. The only other time period that come close to being as enjoyable is 1981 – 1984 I can do with out Sami and her offspring, but not Carrie. She’s unique, beautiful, enjoyable to watch Thank you Days for her return. I hope… Read more »

Glad to see Carrie back, but where’s the handsome hubby? I remember a few years ago, when Abby was chasing after her husband, Carrie was otherwise occupied with Rafe. Think he was remembering that today, with the cutest smile, when she waltzed in, declaring there would be no wedding, between he and Hope.

Didn’t realize how uninterested people are in DOOL. Not much from Michael, as well as commentors. I guess the other shows are more exciting, these days (no pun intended) but we can’t forget our old friends in Salem.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Julie Stands Up to MarDevil; Susan Seaforth Hayes Reminds Us Why She is Soap Royalty

Friday’s episode of Days of our Lives brought with it, let’s just say, not your typical Turkey Day episode in Salem.  It also moved the story along with MarDevil being exposed!

At Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) Thanksgiving, Doug (Bill Hayes) shouts that Marlena (Deidre Hall) is the devil. However, Marlena still insists that Doug is delusional and needs to be locked back up.  It is then that Julie stands by her husband.  Julie is on to Marlena and wonders if she should call “Marlena,” who she truly is at the moment, “Satan”.

Courtesy/NBC

Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison) also believe something is terribly wrong.  Marlena tells them this is ridiculous, but Belle wants to hear what else Doug has to say.  Then, Shawn handcuffs Marlena to take her down to the station for questioning.  Julie doesn’t believe for one second that handcuffs will restrain the devil, and she was right! MarDevil breaks the cuffs and flings Shawn across the Thanksgiving dinner table complete with food-a-flying, leaving him unconscious.

Now with yellow eyes and lights flickering, MarDevil goes after Doug and Julie, but Julie stops Satan in his tracks professing “Not today, Satan!” Just then, MarDevil grabs a knife and in a counter move, Julie holds out her rosary saying love is the power and that the God of love is stronger than the devil! Julie defiantly tells MarDevil that the truth is out and Satan’s reign of terror is over! But MarDevil turns the tables and sneers, “It will never be over!”

It was in these scenes opposite Deidre Hall, that Susan Seaforth Hayes shined as she has done for decades given the material, as Julie went the toe-to-toe with the devil and Susan made us believe that love can win out over everything, especially the love of Doug and Julie.

In another touching moment in the episode, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) tells EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) from her hospital bed, how she used herself as a human sacrifice for the devil to keep John alive and to protect her son.  An emotional EJ can’t believe that Susan was willing to die for him. However, Susan explains that a mother always protects their child and she would do it all over again when faced with that decision.  Haiduk and Feurriegel also delivered in these scenes.

With John (Drake Hogestyn) freed by Anna (Leann Hunley) and Tony (Thaao Penghlis), he eventually makes his way into the Horton house to confront MarDevil, but Satan is gone.  Instead, John finds Shawn with Doug and Julie and they inform him that MarDevil had left to fulfill her true purpose.  Just then, Marlena arrives at Ben (Rob Scott Wilson) and Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal). We fade to black.

Now below, check out Susan Seaforth Hayes in a scene from Friday’s episode as Julie fends off the devil.

Then, let us know, what did you think of Susan’s performance? What do you think MarDevil will do next to Ben and Ciara and “their” baby? Did you enjoy the Susan and EJ scenes? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
