Crystal Chappell Asks: Who Should Ani End Up With In Season Five Of Venice … Gina, Lara, Or Neither Gal?

Crystal Chappell and company are gearing up to shoot season five of the hit web series, Venice. Today, the series released a video featuring Crystal asking fans of the show their input into what should happen next in the life of Ani played by Chappell’s longtime scene partner, Jessica Leccia!
Crystal related: “Ani has had a lot of problems, and all relatable things. We have all struggled with self-esteem, weight issues, family issues most certainly, and she is at a critical point in her life. We hit those points, and we have to make decisions, and she needs to decide whether she is going to marry Lara (Nadia Bjorlin), or give Gina (Chappell) another chance, or just start fresh. I want good things for Ani and I have a very protective energy around her. I need your help. What would you like to see happen to Ani this season? What is best for her on Venice?

They both have hurt Ani and they both have their faults but Gina seems more genuine. Gina and Ani getting back together though is probably more predictable cause she is always running back to Gina
if Ani goes back with either Gina or Laura, it would stir up trouble, it all depends on which one would have a greater climax, or cause more drama
Ani and Gina need to get back together and as well the burnt letter that Laura burned ani must find out somehow what it said as it will prove even more how much Gina does love her. Love the show
as crazy as this sounds Ani need to stay with Laura and Gina will find a new love that will totally understand her and give her all she needs in life and Gina will ask her to marry her. Then Ani finds out about the letter that Laura destroyed and that she was the one to hit Gina. Laura life start to roll out of control and Ani is left alone poundering why she didn’t go with her heart all along. Eventually Ani and Gina will once again be a partner once Gina wife pass away from a illness(cancer)
Maybe there should be new relationships for all these ladies. They would long for each other from a far and drag others into the hot mess of their lives.
I love Lara though my heart is leaning toward Gina and Ani, and I don’t want Venice to end. Venice is like the webs version of Homeland, Nurse Jackie, or the networks How To Get Away With Murder, Scandal, The Fosters, or Empire. It’s fun to look forward to 10 or 12 weeks of tight writing and wonderful acting unfolding good stories that leave you wanting more.
Gina and Ani , all the way! I loved their chemistry and the near supernatural connection they have. It wod be so cool if they did like a sub plot that they find out from Gina’s Aunt Gaia ,that Gina and Ani have had past lives together and something or someone has stopped them from having a happy ending and this life is their last chance at true happiness.

It should always be Gina and Ani. They were, are and always will be part of each other starting from Otalia. Lara is beautiful but she shouldn’t have to lie and manipulate to get Ani to be a part of her life. It all should be natural and that’s what Gina and Ani have. Everyone goes through trials and tribulations in life, but those two always manage to end up back with each other, through thick and thin. They deserve their happiness together.

I go for LARA AND ANI. The two should end up to together rather than Ani choosing Gina instead. Ani should think that it’s Lara who has been there for here after she had had messed up relationship with Gina who only dumped her (Ani) again and again. Ani can make sure that Lara would love only her and no one else but her though the only problem that Lara has is being alcoholic which just slightly hurts Ani’s feelings. So ANI, PLEASE CHOOSE LARA AND YOU’LL SURELY BE HAPPY.

I’ve watched from season one and at first I would have said Gina and Ani.
However, Lara as a character captivates me. She seems so put together even when we all pretty much can assume that her life is about to crash. In spite of all the things that their relationship has been through she loves Ani and regardless of catching Ani kissing Gina right before the wedding and ignoring the fact that she was about to run away with her; I’d say that’s love.
Lara has been good for Ani from the beginning and Lara has always been there for Ani and puts her before herself. I honestly wonder why she’s sticking around for a girl who is still not over her ex so it’s no question that she does indeed love her. I think most of all that Ani owes it to Lara and hers relationship to for now let Gina go and if Gina really does love Lara she would be a little more respectful because honestly this was not the time or place and Gina owes Ani more than this.

I love all your comments, but lets be honest here every relationship has to have its ups and downs and that is exactly what Anni and Gina has gone through. It suck sometimes when you know that two people are meant to be together, but things just keep on pulling them apart. It has been a very long and bumpy road for the two of them but they make each other complete and the writers should give Anni and Gina their happy ending. After all No matter what as long as the love between them is true then love should win for a change, and I believe that they do love each other…..they just need time to remember why they love each other and then slowly find their way back to each other. Sorry Lara but it the truth and there’s no reason to scheme and try to confuse Anni, in fact I believe if she did’nt burn the letter that Gina wrote to Anni it would have probably been Gina standing at the alter and not her. honestly i would love for Gina and Ani to be together but my understanding Ani does love Gina with her heart but she is scared of being hurt again but at the same time being with Lara can go either way because after experiencing a slap and push against the wall it cause confusing of love or hate.. Ani and Gina. But I feel there needs to be a healing process. She shouldn’t jump straight into a relationship with Gina. They should start slow, enjoy the fresh start of a second chance. Ok so I’ve watched the love story unfold from season one to the interruption of the wedding. From watching I think Ani is toxic and needs to figure her stuff out. She was with Laura but was still talking and comforting Gina, not cool. You’re in a relationship with one person not the person you’re with and your ex. Yes what happened between Laura and Ani was not cool and Laura is paying for it, and Ani is healing but they are working through it. Gina dumped Ani time and time again, then when she ended up with someone she was happy with then she all of a sudden wanted Ani back. I like Ani with Laura. Laura was there for Ani giving her confidence boosts, helping her, comforting her, and staying by her side even though she knows Ani has the Gina issue. Laura and Ani all the way. They have great chemistry, I don’t think I would watch anymore if Laura was not on the show anymore. She is so captivating.
It always feels great being in love with someone but that person (Gina) we love is not always meant to be the one to be in a relationship with. Ani should cherish the time and remain friends with Gina seeking someone that loves being in love with her. Everyone has flaws but it’s phenomenal to see recovery through each struggle so Lara may deserve another chance once she tells all. Wouldn’t close the door to other possibilities.

I think Ani needs a break from both of them Gina not trustworthy and Lara is insecure. Gina needs to prove herself to Ani . I can’t stand the way Gina continues to hurt Ani, and while Lara is not perfect she should stay with her. She deserves a true love albeit not always perfect but one of respect mutual adoration support and that’s true. We all have our demons and this whole Gina mess has been horrible on Lara. Gina and Ani. Will be real unhappy if it doesn’t end that way. But only if Gina treats her well and respects and truly cherishes the relationship. I really liked the balance of the Otalia relationship. They both had different strengths and were great together.
It looks like the current run of Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) on The Young and the Restless is coming to an end, after the Monday, August 3 edition of the CBS daytime drama revealed that Noah and Sienna are leaving Genoa City and heading back to Los Angeles.
In the storyline, Noah informed his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case) and half-sister Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna made the decision to move back to the West Coast to put distance between themselves and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Although Noah did not say it was a permanent move, he did assure his mom that once Matt is hopefully gone from Genoa City they could return.
However, as previewed already on the video teaser for this week’s episodes of Y&R (see below), it appears Noah left Genoa City’s The Shadow Room to be run by a returning Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). So with that, coupled with today’s episode, it would appear the move could wind up being more permanent.

COMINGS AND GOINGS
Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025 as the successor to Rory Gibson who last played Noah on-screen in April of 2023. Earlier in 2025, Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos on Genera Hospital replacing Chad Duell, who stepped away from the part after 15 years.
Braun who played Adam’s mother on Days of Our Lives when she was Ava Vitali and he was Tripp Dalton, first appeared on Y&R back on October 14, 2025, where we soon learned she had become Noah’s lover as the new character, Sienna Bacall. It should be noted, Adams was on contract with the number #1 soap, while Braun has been on recurring status.
With Josh Griffith now exited as head writer of The Young and the Restless, and the newly announced co-head writing team of Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor having taken his place and starting their new tenure this week, it will be interesting to see how the duo resets the show, and if a Noah and Sienna return is in the cards for the future or not.

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.
The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.
The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW
As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.
O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”
Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”

General Hospital Fan Club Weekend brought out many of your favorites to the four day event; with the main cast gathering on Saturday, August 1. Fans near and far attended the weekend held this year at the Burbank Marriott Hotel.
