Days of our Lives star Camila Banus (Gabi) has revealed on her Instagram that she has tested positive for the coronavirus and is currently at home in Los Angeles in quarantine.

As her fans know, the actress recently shared another Instagram video from Miami where she was vacationing and had gotten engaged to longtime boyfriend, Martin Aquino.

Banus shared she is experiencing mild symptoms but has lost her sense of taste and smell.

In her post, Camila began, “I was traveling, as you guys know, in Florida … got engaged, which is super-amazing, and was heading back on the 25th and was not feeling right.  So, I went and I got myself a Covid test yesterday and your girl tested positive.”

Camila went on to say: “As you can hear, my voice is a little bit gone. I had some congestion yesterday in my nose… the only real symptom I have is I can’t taste or smell anything.”  In addition, she says that Martin may be asymptomatic at this point since they have been together mostly this entire time.

Watch Camila’s posts below … first, where she shares her diagnosis, and second, when she was in Miami getting engaged.

Camila is young and healthy (as far as I know) so she will probably survive this alright…. though Hell only knows what the long term damage is from this virus. There are numerous reports of long term circulatory & respiratory issues from COVID survivors, even possible neurological issues. Not really worth… Read more »

Yes, HER ignorance for traveling during a global pandemic and acting irresponsibly; much like her co-star Robert Scott Wilson. Her attitude in her IG Video is disgusting.
