Now, here’s an intriguing role for none other than popular Days of our Lives and The Nanny star, Charles Shaughnessy (Ex-Shane Donovan).  In the upcoming Lifetime movie Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal, the sequel to the 2018 hit movie, Shaughnessy will play Prince Charles!

Filming is currently underway in Vancouver, Canada and the TV film will bow on Memorial Day on Monday, May 27 at 8pm ET/PT.

The Lifetime movie continues the love story of newlyweds Prince Harry (Charlie Field) and American actress Meghan Markle (Tiffany Smith) pulling back the curtain to reveal the untold joys and challenges of life inside the Royal Family during their pivotal first year of marriage. Beyond blending their families and cultures, Harry and Meghan’s core values are put to the test as they try to find the balance between honoring Royal tradition and staying true to their beliefs.

Oh my goodness, how depressing that one of the big time crushes of my younger days is now old enough to play Prince Charles–the only one who might be happy with this news is Prince Charles– “the hottie from the Nanny is playing me– how splendid”

Except his ears aren’t big enough to play Chuckles. Maybe he can get some prosthetics, like Leonard Nimoy used to wear (except the pointy bits, obviously)

I’m guessing Kim & Shane would show up for Caroline’s funeral. Too bad somebody literally has to die for them to come back to Salem.

The only line I want to hear him say is “I hope he doesn’t marry her!” Yeah, you, me, your family and millions around the world agreed, Charlie Boy!
