A Jarlena wedding written by DAYS head writer, Ron Carlivati can bring with it several things: delicious drama, fun, love in the air, and dire circumstances!  And from the looks of this just released NBC promo for next week’s episodes of Days of our Lives that is exactly what viewers can expect.

The question is  … through it all, will John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) finally re-tie the knot?

From the teaser, it would seem there are many expected, unexpected, and surprise guests attending the nuptials including: Sami (Alison Sweeney), Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison), and a person whose face is in bandages in a tux!

But as the promo teases, someone will not be going home after the wedding when a gunshot is fired!

Let’s not forget, the last tine Carlivati wrote a series of major episodes for a wedding event – that of the double wedding of Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Paul (Christopher Sean) – we all know what happened that time!  Ben Weston (Rob Scott Wilson) showed up at the church just in time to drop the bombshell that Will (Chandler Massey) was alive which put a major clink in Sonny and Paul’s portion of the big day.
