So glad to get more good news about Days ratings. I am enjoying the show a lot more than a few years ago. Days has a good mix of age ranges and the cast is intermingling. Loving Crystal Chappell’s return followed by Louise Sorel. This is giving Bo and Hope story and Vivian and Victor are hysterical! Even the wonderful Suzanne Rogers has finally gotten her own storyline. Sami v Nichole & good looking EJ, Philip, Rafe…etc.

(excuse mixing real & character names)

I agree. I enjoy the more realistic stories than the old ones (remember Marlena being possessed? Or what my friends and I called “Facelift Island” with the invisable force fields. True, the whole baby switch story was over the top, but at least the baby didn’t get taken away by a spaceship. Hey, I watch soaps for a little fantasy, but with storylines that I can relate to also. Bravo Days!!! My favorite return star is Leann Hunley (Anna DiMeara).

All My Children Alum William Christian to Debut on Days of our Lives

Coming up next week on Days of our Lives, look for former All My Children favorite, William Christian (Ex-Derek Frye from 1990-2007), to join the cast of the NBC daytime drama series.

Christian is taking on the role of Lani’s (Sal Stowers) not-so-good biological father, TR Coates, and when he arrives in Salem, Paulina (Jackée Harry) is not too pleased!  This isn’t the first time Bill has appeared on DAYS. He previously had a four-day stint in another role in a storyline in 2018.

Now in 2022, as it turns out ,TR is a movie producer with a connection to Johnny (Carson Boatman).  So, will the JoDevil and TR make a despicable team and wreak more havoc on Salem? stay tuned.

Watch the latest DAYS promo below featuring William’s Christian’s arrival on the Salem scene.

Then let us know, are you glad to see Bill back on daytime? What do you think will be TR’s agenda while in Salem? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES: What Did You Think of the Life-Sized Duke and Ava Scene?

Okurrrr! On Tuesday’s episode of Days of our Lives, the long-running NBC soap opera served up a scene in which Ava (Tamara Braun) wakes up in bed and sees a life-sized Duke doll come to life in the doorway.

If you recall, Ava ripped the small-sized stuffed-animal, Duke to shreds, previously, with a scissor in a fit of rage as she appears to be losing her grip!

In this scene, Duke returns with pair of scissors in his hand and says he’s there for payback. Ava screams out. Next, she grabs a nail file to defend herself and tries to run, but Duke grabs her.

What does Ava do next? She bites Duke. He tells her that she’ll pay for that.  Next, we see a startled Ava in bed as Rafe (Galen Gering) appears at the doorway with coffee… and wait for it … a bear claw!

As Rafe informs Ava of the accusations against him at work, she asks if he thinks she is engineering this, considering he accused her of dismembering Duke?  Rafe says he believes she is not responsible for any of this. Oh, Rafe!

So, what did you think of the scene when you watched it between larger-than-life stuffed-animal-come-to-life Duke and Ava?  Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
