Debbi Morgan Bows Out Of Daytime Emmy Contention For Her Work On All My Children!

For those who watched the incredible work of Debbi Morgan (Angie Hubbard) during the 45 episode online revival of All My Children in 2013, you won’t be seeing her name on pre-nom list for this year’s 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards competition! Morgan took to her Twitter account to explain her decision of why she is not entering her name!
The talented and beloved Morgan related: ” I’ve decided not 2 have my name submitted 4 Emmy consideration this year cuz I just really, really want 2 move on. The many months of being told we’re on hiatus but would B coming back & then snatching the rug from under us & the fans has been very emotional. So right now the head space I’m in is just completely distancing myself from AMC w/regards of an Emmy consideration. I will 4 ever B grateful 4 the years of playing “Angie” beautifully created by our beloved Agnes Nixon & our most amazing cast will always hold a special place in my heart… Darnell, Mickey, Sal, Cady, Thorsten, Vincent… just to name a few! However, with the end happening in the way that it did, for right now, I just want to remove any reminders of our untimely end & to be honest I don’t need an Emmy 2 recognize how much U all loved the work I was able 2 bring 2 U… Your tweets said it all & that’s “Emmy” enough for me…Smile!”
So, what do you think of Debbi’s decision? Are you disappointed she won’t be possibly recognized for her work? Or, do you understand where she is coming from due to how AMC ended? Share your comments below!
It is her decision, I see where she’s coming from, it’s a shame though she was really superb this year.
I agree Enrique. She is a wonderful Actress, but I respect her decision.
So understand…love her!!!!
UGH…She had a great chance to win…
She is an amazing woman, what a humble woman, she really lets us know she was all about the show and the fans. She is an incredible actor, and a real person. We will all miss you Debbi. a.k.a. Angie.
As a fan , I understand it was a shock and disappointment to the fans but for the actors that put their hart and souls into these to awesome shows it must be devastating , I hope and pray both shows and our beloved actors will be back and soon !
I do understand the hurt she feels but I think she had a chance at winning.
Winning an EMMY would have shown ABC that what a big mistake they did of canceling AMC and also OLTL.
They were spiteful and made it hard for Prospect Park to continue the series
Good for her. The fans feel the same way about PP. Idiots!
Can’t blame her. PP sucks.
It is disappointing….but then so is the demise of the show & its revival….I can certainly understand why any & all would want time at this point to just step away….Debbie was, is & will always be the one & only Dr. Angie Hubbard….truly a class act….
I don’t blame her one bit… she got the shaft along with the rest of the cast not once but twice from ABC & Prospect Park… she puts her heart and soul into her work, so don’t blame her for not wanting to be a part of anything soap (AMC) or otherwise. It’s a shame what they did to AMC & OLTL!
I understand and respect her decision.
This honestly just proves what a classy woman she truly is on the inside. Beautifully worded (and numbered) just an amazing woman. Also loved her in Charmed.
Debbi Morgan is one classy woman. She really deserves an emmy and I give her props for thinking of the fans. She is an excellent actress and I wish her well in all her future roles. She is not in it for herself, but for fans. God Bless Her.
One hell of a classy lady!!!! I can understand, respect and accept her decision!! I will always love her as Angie, but I will also love the fabulous talent that Debbi Morgan is!!
This makes me very sad. I feel she did amazing work this year. But, I certainly respect her decision. She is, and always has been, a very classy lady.
I feel bad for her and I feel bad for the fans. I get that she feels she was being played for relaying what ended up being wrong info.. that she kept being told by PP that AMC was coming back, then tweeting that to fans only to have to finally tell them AMC was ending.. I can’t blame her at all, but PP’s AMC was so awesome (as was Debbi) it’s hard for me to criticize them. Love you Debbi! You’re amazing now and you always have been — there would have been an excellent chance you’d have gotten that Emmy. You certainly earned it.
Debbie Morgan you are one respected person, fans love you all the way
I certainly don’t blame her and understand her decision. If she’d won, however, it would have drawn a lot of attention to the new format and maybe helped bring AMC or other shows back. I did like the idea of soaps on the web and appreciate PP putting in all the effort that they did. They meant well and just couldn’t quite pull it off.
A very honest comment by her. I admire that. I know the chance of AMC being revived now is very slim but reading these remarks really shows you how unlikely that is to occur. Do you really think someone like Morgan who appeared to be so dedicated to the show and enjoyed it would seriously consider an offer to return now?
All of it is a real shame for AMC and OLTL. On the positive side, the fans of those shows at least got a handful of additional episodes. Someone like me who followed ATWT for years got nothing. I still wonder what Eileen Fulton, Elizabeth Hubbard, Don Hastings, and Kathryn Hayes are up to these days and who they are doing. I never read ANYTHING about them.
At least ATWT fans got a proper ending for their show. AMC and OLTL fans will probably never get that chance for their respective shows thanks to PP’s stupidity.
To say nothing of the GH fans who now have to live in a special hell – knowing that technically GH is still on the air even though the show has been thoroughly ruined by RC and his campy, horribly paced writing style.
Michael: Barbara fromAtlanta has a great idea. How about a followup to the ATWT legends? It would be great to hear from them!
David is right ATWT was allowed to leave the airwaves with some dignity and closure. I loved the last episode even if it was not perfect in the minds of some. For AMC and OLTL it was like a couple tried to start over a longtime relationship and discovered it was not the same. Prospect Park and ABC and whoever really bungled things, it seems. I enjoyed the new versions.
Debbi Morgan does not need Emmy love. She is an esteemed actress and I hope to see her in many dramatic and comedic roles on primetime, on the silver screen, and maybe on stage one day. I pray she is able to find the peace she seeks. It surely must have been a rough road emotionally this past year.
Days should hire her…revive the character of Valerie Grant…reveal she is Maxines cousin and have them both as possible new love interest for Abe Carver!!!
James Reynolds played Debbi’s father on long ago soap Generations. Could be a little awkward. And reviving Valerie Grant could be too long ago for any viewer to care or remember. But fans would welcome Debbi to any show in any role.
Back in the 90s didnt Charles Shaunessy and Charlotte Ross who played father and daughter on Days play in a movie where Charles played a father who was in love with his daughters best friend played by Charlotte…that couldnt be any more awkward than Debbie playing James’s love interest…im just saying. Valerie hasnt been around since the 1970s(where her part was impotant) to the 1980s(less important) but she is still part of the shows history and id like to see past characters revived on soaps and kept connected to the shows history! Thanks for the reply!!!
Honest and true decision, and I respect it wholeheartedly.
I do hope she returns to the medium, or goes onto film. Would love for Y&R to bring Harmony back from time to time to interact with Devon!
I totally understand how she feels…………..we all love her, and as far as I am concerned, she has more than earned any reward ever given to her! She is so missed, as well as the rest of the cast of AMC. Best wishes to all of them and I know we will be seeing Angie somewhere, doing what she has been blessed to be abled to do! Brains, beauty and an incredible talent………….That’s our Angie!!!!!
Meant ‘award’ not reward…….
I totally understand, on my heart goes out to her. However I wish she would not had withdrawn her name, as that might’ve helped AMC to another revival if she had won. I wish Debbie the very best and mourn the loss of AMC.
I still have hope. I prayed for AMC & OLTL to come back and they did. I think P.P. should sue ABC. And maybe ABC will take notice bring back our Soaps They could put all 3 soaps together and call it All My Children have One life to live on General Hospital or use them all on General Hospital after all Sky and Rae were on all three soap. That’s something for ABC to think about. And Oprah was putting the shows on her Network OWN. Come on fans let’s not let them get away with doing this to us. Lets fight & pray for our beloved soaps 30 minutes was fine with me.
Prospect Park is suing ABC. They canceled the shows even though they have not even been to court yet. They have given their fans and their stars no information nor any of their other employees. I hope our shows will come back but I’m not very trusting of anyone right now.
Unless PP can win the lawsuit against ABC, I don’t see how the shows will return. It’s going very hard for PP to win their lawsuit. The jury will most likely be composed of people that are indifferent to soap operas or to what ABC did to the soaps. And since ABC-Disney is a behemoth company with a reputation coupled with the fact that much of PP’s lawsuit doesnt even make sense to begin with, I found it hard to imagine that the jury would side with Prospect Park anyway.
ABC itself will not bring back the soaps on their network so you can already forget about that possibility. I mean they cancelled them in the first place so why would you think they would bring them back? They always brag about how happy they are with the addition of The Chew in their afternoon lineup.
ABC will never allowed General Hospital to be renamed “All My Children have One life to live on General Hospital”. General Hospital is ABC’s flagship soap and is known even by non-soapers. ABC certainly will not allowed for its name to be modified.
The only thing in what you said that has a chance of happening is for the AMC characters that have previously on GH to be reappared on GH either on a temporary or permanent basis. But for this to happen, ABC would have to get the rights back to ABC from PP. That’s in itself is another problem.
I get it. Amazing actress and gave such powerful performances people don’t know what they are missing
I can understand her decision and need to move on. She is an amazing woman and she stuck it out till the unfortunate end. AMC will be greatly missed and so will the AMC family.
It’s really sad what PP did to the actors and actresses of OLTL and AMC. I don’t blame for making that decision, if it were me I’d do the same thing or I’d attend and if I won find who the 2nd runner was and then hand the award off to them. I highly doubt now that these 2 soaps will be put back on the internet or TV, it’s hard to imagine it but they are finished. How sad. ABC and PP should be ashamed of themselves and leading on the actors and actresses and of course the fans.
Besides General Hospital, I will NEVER watch ANYTHING ABC has on in the afternoon. They are the worst network for afternoon programming, PERIOD. Clearly we will not get our shows back and I am just pissed. I respect and understand Ms. Morgan’s decision. I can’t imagine what is has been like for the actors of our two beloved soaps going though this as a working actor, add to that the disappointment of being a fan who has been twice disappointed by the incredible mismangement of the revival of AMC and OLTL. This was a golden opportunity that PP screwed up big time!
ABC, you deserve YEARS of failure! The proof is in the pudding because everyone involved with the cancellation of these two iconic soaps are no longer employed and KATIE is on her way out as well. Your primetime shows will suffer too, and your network will soon be on the level of the CW!! Except Scandal, awesome show!!
It is her choice– she is such a talented actress I am sure she will go on to many other projects. Personally would love for her to come back to Y&R. It is so weird now Devon is like mega-rich not to have his mother around wanting some of the dough. Also, would love for the guy who played Jack’s PT to come back. If Mason is going be on the show, scamming Devon, at least his uncle should be around to keep him in check. Y&R should have never let them go, but I am sure all AMC fans were glad they were available for the reboot.
Mary she would never go back to Y&R she hated it. The whole experience over there and then to be so excited to come back to AMC and once again have the rug pulled out from you. Hopefully she can move on to another forum of acting.
When I read this reply in my box I said that sounds like k/kay, but couldn’t be because she said she was leaving for a while. Yet it was you– which is great because I wanted a chance to wish you well where ever you are heading to– if that is still the plan. Shame about DM not liking Y&R, I liked her as Harmony, and thought the character had real potential as love interest for Neil, better than Lesley. Oh well, one things fans can’t control is all the backstage drama that makes it so difficult for our favorite actors to work on our favorite soaps. So like you, I hope she finds a gig somewhere where her talent can shine without all the behind the scenes melodrama she experienced on both shows in last couple of years.
Hey Mary normally I check out for the holidays just me I am still in town just try not to post normally busy this time of year best to you!!! You are a great poster just hang in there and you will probably see a response or two over the holidays. Not to be nosy but what part of Canada are you from? We love Vancouver & Whistlers Peak!!!
Nosey oops! Take care!!!
I completely understand she must do what is best for her. It is a shame because the fabulous performances Debbi has given us are Emmy worthy. I hope she is the only one to feel this way, because I would like to see some recognition for the actors, for us…
Just when I thought I couldn’t hate ABC/Disney anymore……….. Poor Debbie Morgan. I have to disagree though. You so deserve recognition for the work you did. We love you so much……… Besides. It would be such a boost for both shows if these actors were nominated and they won……….. Please reconsider. You’re always a shoo-in to win.
Sometimes you just have to cut the ties and move on.
Soap royalty! Her career should have taken the track of Erika Slezak, Susan Lucci, Ms. Hall, Strasser and man others. She was too young and th soap business was growing old.
I love her honesty . She is probably embarrassed by the PP tweeting she did, telling fans the show would return. And she wants to move on,good for her
Good for her! She is a talent. And she needs to move on to better roles in as many different venues. She deserves the best.
I don’t blame her one bit. As shellshocked as I am, as all the fans are, I bet it’s harder for the actors. Especially the one that have been with the show for decades. I have still not given up the dream that one day, Angie and all the gang in Pine Valley will one day return to us.
I totally understand where she’s coming from and I agree with her. We were screwed by abc and then jerked around by PP. It’s time for everyone to move on. The lady is a class act and I wish her nothing but the best.
I agree too. Debbie has been very gracious to the fans during all of this and I completely understand where she is coming from. It seems she feels a little used by PP. I’m glad that she is moving on and can’t wait to see her work on Power. She deserves to be respected.
I so understand where she is coming from, and respect her decision. I wish her all the best , maybe we will hear that she is going to take part in another soap someday. She is a great actress. God Bless her in whatever path she takes.
It was an internet show. Wouldn’t be a Webby?
Hi Sean. No…AMC and oLTL are allowed to compete in the 2014 Daytime Emmys as always.
I agree and totally understand where she is coming from. I have finally accepted that the shows are gone, and I have moved on….having AMC or OLTL go on to win Emmy’s would just be pouring salt into an open wound.
Eileen Davidson’s got it in the bag, so she had no chance anyway.
I so hope so…. Eileen Davidson for best actress… year, 2014! yahoo!
Eileen Davidson: You are need back in Salem
to further along… how rich DAYS is:
let’s throw in Kelly Sullivan and Trevor St. John…. Peter and Kristen Blake DiMera!
Her decision makes perfect sense to me. She has remained classy and taken the high road throughout this whole PP ordeal. She is one of the actors who has tried to remain positive. PP’s lack of communication to the cast is terrible and they should be ashamed of themselves. That is not how to run a successful business. The fans also deserve some type of communication from PP. Of course, we realize that it has to be vague as a lawsuit is pending. OLTL didn’t win any awards in the last year or two so I doubt if AMC or OLTL would win any this time either. The voting is political. The actors only vote for the soaps on their networks as they fear cancellation and job loss. The fact that KA won an emmy for her role on GH, invalidates the entire process for me. The emmys are not genuine awards anymore like they used to be. Debbi Morgan: I wish you much success in your future. I have admired your acting since you first started on AMC and your character fell in love with bad boy, Jessie.
I totally agree entertainment awards are political based on alliances, affiliations. This is true in movies, daytime and nighttime TV. Debbie had little chance even to get nominated since Prospect park has the political power of a flea. She had no chance whatsoever to win. And I think she is embarrassed by the whole mess. She is putting the past behind her. I think the actors have pretty much moved on. Now some die hard fans are not realistic and want to convince themselves That the world was impressed with their soap opera. The world pretty much yawned.
Rapids, unfortunately to some extent I agree with you as far as the On-line versions of the show go. They weren’t perfect, they absolutely needed some work here and there, but I think that most of us true AMC fans were willing to go along for the ride. Some fans have given up, some feel the show could still come back ~ in fairness, it wasn’t given time on-line to attract new viewers, nor find it’s footing.
I do believe that All My Children could somehow resurface, but it would be with new faces and new characters in Pine Valley. Whether it will happen or not is anybody’s guess, but I’m trying to remain optimistic.
Wow, I just love Debbi!! She is one-of-a kind to do something like this. Debbi, you are an incredible actress and I can’t wait to see you in something else. I miss All My Children, it can never be replaced by another show.
I so see where she is coming from. It was not fair to both the fans and the actors who gave their all just to be jerked around again! After all that, they weren’t even told the news in a decent way. PP Park is classless & Debbi Morgan is all class. I know she would’ve won, but I understand & respect her decision. She wants to move on and I don’t blame her!!!
Classy Lady! And her talents haven’t been overlooked – she has been casted in 50 cent’s drama ‘Power’ set to premiere on Starz in 2014! So the beat goes on. So happy she can continue to do what she loves.
I don’t know anymore exactly WHAT to think, but I don’t blame Debbi Morgan for feeling annoyed and discouraged by the way Prospect Park has handled things – and who knows at this point when and if ALL MY CHILDREN will ever return. I will say one thing though and I guess other viewers don’t agree with me, but I found the On-line versions of the show to be weak both storyline wise and in presentation. The episodes were so short and sandwiched between too many Hulu commercials but that was just my overview of it. I watched every episode on Line and was happy to have the show back (though I clearly preferred the ABC-TV broadcast version). Having said that, I thought Debbi Morgan did an excellent job breathing life into some rather lackluster writing. The sad thing is, I hate what abc-tv did in cancelling our beloved show, and although I was grateful that Prospect Park attempted to revive it on line, I wasn’t overly thrilled with the inception and certainly not happy that it became evident rather early on that they were battling obstacles along the way. I don’t know who the “winners” will be in the battle for ALL MY CHILDREN but right now it seems like the Fans have lost the most.
I do not blame Debbi Morgan for one minute in feeling the way that she does. Debbi, is a very gifted actress…And, I thank Ms. Morgan for returning back to Pine Valley when she did. I would also like to thank Prospect Park, for doing a sensational job. PP, did the best that they could. ABC,is at fault!!!
If one “reads between the lines” it sounds like she is telling Prospect Park to
…well, take a walk.
By saying that she would like to “distance herself” from the project, it doesn’t
mean that she would never play Angie again, but it DOES sound like she’s
“done” with Prospect Park – and honestly, who could blame her for feeling that
way after how they treated both the actors and the fans?
I don’t watch AMC or know this lady or her character, but her tweet is very classy.
It is time that we all move on. If AMC comes back and it has many of our vets in it, I will watch. I will never forgive ABC. Hope their daytime shows continue to do badly. Thanks to all the vets that were there for AMC2. I wish we would just get a good ending. I will support Y&R and B&B since they have the most AMC actors. Judge Judy is always fun to watch during the day!

‘All My Children’ Movie Writers for Lifetime Revealed: Ron Carlivati, Jamey Giddens and Leo Richardson

This week began and as reported with a spotlight article on Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos and how their production entity, Milojo, has been teeing up the All My Children reboot with Lifetime.
The L.A. Times featured the married couple, co-hosts of Live with Kelly and Mark, and former All My Children cast members (where they met and fell in love) about their plans to bring two All My Children movies to Lifetime and how they are working with the Agnes Nixon estate to make it come to fruition,
On Wednesday, it was revealed by Daytime Confidential, that All My Children reboot producer, Andrew Stearn handpicked none other than Ron Carlivati (ex-head writer, One Life to Live, General Hospital and Days of our Lives) and Jamey Giddens (who is the new co-head writer of The Young and the Restless, following his tenures on the writing teams of Beyond the Gates and Days of Our Lives), as the two scribes who will bring the first of two of Kelly and Mark’s All My Children movies to the page.

RON CARLIVATI AND JAMEY GIDDENS CONFIRM THEIR BOARDING THE ALL MY CHILDREN MOVIE PROJECT
The second installment is said to be written by primetime writer Leo Richardson whose credits include: Star, Katy Keene and more recently the Penn Badgley (ex-Phillip Chancellor IV, The Young and the Restless) starring series, You.
Richardson also wrote for three years on the U.K.’s long-running soap, EastEnders. All My Children revival fans will recall Richardson’s name was attached as the writer for the first incarnation of the All My Children movies, entitled, Pine Valley.
Ron Carlivati took to X and confirmed he is indeed boarding the All My Children movie project. Carlivati shared, “So excited to share this news! Thanks to Andrew Stearn, Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, Albert Bianchini and the Agnes Nixon estate for entrusting Jamey Giddens and me with the first of two planned All My Children movies for Lifetime! Stay tuned!”

Jamey Giddens confirmed DC’s announcement by taking to his account on X and expressing, “I’ve been booked and busy in 2026. Thanks to Andrew Stearn, the Agnes Nixon estate, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos for entrusting Ron Carlivati, and me with the first of two planned All My Children movies for Lifetime!”
Some fans seemed to question how Giddens could be writing for the first All My Children movie at Lifetime, when he is the new co-head writer at The Young and the Restless with Dan O’Connor. Jamey answered that head on via X and explained, “We turned in our All My Children script months ago. My sole focus as of this past Monday, is Genoa City, Wisconsin! #YR”
ERICA KANE, MARIA SANTOS AND HAYLEY AND MATEO SANTOS TO APPEAR IN THE ALL MY CHILDREN MOVIE REVIVAL?
In the planned stories, Susan Lucci’s Erica Kane and Eva LaRue’s Maria Santos will be two characters whose lives we will get to see for the first time since the series was canceled by ABC back in 2011 after 41 years on the air. As well, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos confirmed they will make brief appearances on-screen; one could assume as Hayley and Mateo Santos.
“It’d be wonderful to give the fans something that they’ve been yearning for so many years,” shared Mark Consuelos to the LA Times. “All My Children gave me my family. I met my wife there. It gave me my start in the business. It gave us so much. It would be a dream to be able to give back.”
So, what do you think of Ron Carlivati and Jamey Giddens getting nod to write the All My Children movie #1 script and Leo Richardson #2? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

‘All My Children’ Revival Updates: Lifetime EVP Speaks on Why Proposed Movies are Great Fit, Mark Consuelos Wants To ‘Give Back’ to Fans

The All My Children revival via movies at Lifetime is still in the works from former series stars and marrieds, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, through their production company, Milojo.
The co-hosts of Live with Kelly and Mark were featured this week in a Los Angeles Times article which detailed their efforts to bring some of the citizens of Pine Valley back to your screens.
As previously reported, and reaffirmed by the L.A. Times, the All My Children movies will be set in the present day and focus on what beloved characters such as Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) and Maria Santos Gray (Eva LaRue) are doing now. In addition, Kelly Ripa confirmed that she and Mark Consuelos will also appear on screen briefly most likely appearing in their signature soap roles as Hayley and Mateo Santos.

ALL MY CHILDREN MOVIES BRING NOSTALGIA THAT CAN BE MADE TO FEEL NEW AGAIN
Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive vice president and head of programming for A&E, Lifetime, and Lifetime Movie Network said of the All My Children reboot, “Lifetime is always interested in shows that kind of tap into a powerful nostalgia that can be made fresh for today’s audience. There’s a whole generation of women that have missed these stories and these characters.”
As for working with Kelly and Mark on the Lifetime movie versions of the soap, “They’re exactly the kind of partners you want at a brand,” expressed Bryant. “They’re trusted voices because every day they’re talking to their audience, which, a lot of times, is our audience. They bring a real credibility and have an authentic point of view. You meet Kelly and Mark and kind of what you see is what you get, and I think they bring that same authenticity to their development standards.”
Albert Bianchini, executive producer for Milojo, says he knows All My Children is so wildly popular with the fans of daytime. That was punctuated when seeing it in person, and how the energy was off the charts back in January of 2025 when Kelly participated along with Susan Lucci, former head writer, Lorraine Broderick and casting director, Judy Blye Wilson in a conversation with Andy Cohen at the 92nd Street Y in New York City.

“I’ve never seen a crowd like that in my life. People were lined up around the block, recalled the Bianchini. “Everyone wanted to know, ‘When is (All My Children) coming back? We want more.’ We got to see that in real life and Kelly got to feel it in real life, and it made so much sense. I just know that the minute it gets out in the world, people will want more and more and more. There’s just a love there.”
Kelly Ripa added that they are, “working closely with Bob and Sarah Nixon, who are also serving as producers.” She recalled, “She (Agnes Nixon) was so far ahead of her time. She covered topics that weren’t being covered. It was extraordinary the audiences that the show drew, and she served them real stories that were affecting Americans across the country but weren’t necessarily being represented anywhere.”
“It’d be wonderful to give the fans something that they’ve been yearning for so many years,” shared Mark Consuelos. “All My Children gave me my family. I met my wife there. It gave me my start in the business. It gave us so much. It would be a dream to be able to give back.”
THE CANCELLATION AND STOPS AND STARTS OF ALL MY CHILDREN REBOOTS
All My Children aired on ABC from 1970 to 2011. It got a second chance at life when Prospect Park resurrected the show and brought it to The OnLine Network and Hulu for one season in 2013.
Recently, the series made a return through the estate of Agnes Nixon and is streaming internationally on BEONDTV and through their partnership with PlutoTV Canada with episodes starting in 1995. Fans hope original episodes will some day soon be available in the U.S. as well, but that could prove more difficult since ABC owns the rights to the episodes stateside.
Now 13 years later, while there is no word yet on a definitive production start date to the two movies at Lifetime, all the people involved seemed determined to make it come to life.
So, what do you think of the executive vice-president of Lifetime and LMN being enthusiastic about Kelly and Mark’s All My Children movie revivals? Are you wanting to see this come to fruition? Kelly and Mark seem to have made this a very high priority. Do you hope that by 2027 we might be able to get this to the finish the line and into production? Weigh-in via the comment section.

‘All My Children’ Episodes to Stream on Pluto TV Canada
Starting on May 1, All My Children fans in Canada will be able to see classic episodes of the beloved former ABC soap opera when they stream on Pluto TV Canada.
Pluto TV picked-up the All My Children Channel that the Nixon family has created in partnership with BEONDTV +. The show which aired for 41 years on ABC and ended on the network in 2011, had so many memorable storylines and characters; the least of which is the enduring run of Erica Kane played by soap icon, Susan Lucci.
As previously reported, starting with episodes from the year 1995, which was the 25th anniversary of the soap. Pluto TV Canada viewers will be able to catch 8 episodes on repeat per day. With the success of the venture, the Nixons are hopeful that they will bring viewers many more years of the show to come.

Sarah Nixon, producer, shared with Michael Fairman TV exclusively, “We are thrilled that Pluto TV has launched All My Children in Canada! Let’s hope the engagement from our incredibly loyal fans across the border will encourage ABC to bring it to the U.S.! We share what Aggie (Agnes Nixon) always felt, that it is the enthusiasm and love from the fans that has kept this legacy beloved and relevant – to this day!”
In addition, 0ne week ago, during Susan Lucci’s visit to Los Angeles promoting her book La Lucci, she was joined by her former Pine Valley castmates, Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee, AMC, now Taylor, B&B) and Eva LaRue (ex-Maria, AMC) and the trio posed for a pic. At that time, LaRue shared via Instagram, “NEW All My Children channel streaming classic episodes 24/7 now on Pluto TV Canada! Fingers crossed to watch soon on Pluto US.”
That was also confirmed this week by TV Watercooler’s Jeevan Brar who took to X and expressed, “The All My Children channel begins streaming this Friday, May 1 on Pluto TV Canada.
So, Canadian viewers, excited about Pluto TV’s All My Children channel? United States fans, hopeful from Sarah’s message that perhaps soon, we can see the beloved soap once again as well? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
