Elizabeth Hendrickson Makes Another Return To Y&R

There will be more drama surrounding Chloe on The Young and the Restless. Elizabeth Hendrickson, who just recently made a return to the CBS Daytime drama series after her year on General Hospital as Margaux Dawson, and who was key to bringing back Adam Newman to the canvas in Genoa City and the story surrounding him, is coming back for another round on the top-rated soap.

Hendrickson posted on her Instagram a throwback photo to her and Y&R’s Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) with the following words in her post: “Found an oldie but a goodie! Who’s ready for some of this again?! Back at @youngandrestlesscbsand excited for what’s to come.”

In story, Adam (Mark Grossman) had Chloe kidnapped and has her man Kevin (Greg Rikaart) blackmailed to do his bidding in order to keep Chloe safe and from not having to serve time in prison for his attempted murder.

And there is still the unanswered question … if Chloe and Adam can co-exist in the same orbit, or if they will ever be able to get past the horrific moment in both their lives when Adam killed Chloe’s daughter in a hit and run accident?

So, glad to know there will be more Liz on Y&R? Share your thoughts below.

Yay!!! Been waiting for Chloe to pop back in. This time, let’s keep her on that canvas for a good while!!!

NO NO NO NO NO

It’s ignored; Billy’s part in the death of his daughter.
He should be charged with child neglect/something.
Leaving a child alone in a car on the side of the road at night.

I still believe Niki hit her; Niki was drunk that night and driving, she might not remember.

Eventually, it will be shown that Adam is innocent.

For now, the blame needs to be shared equally between Billy and Adam.

And Adam needs to tell Billy to get off his high horse!

How so? Adam is walking around town like an arrogant pompous jerk with no remorse for anything!

How so? Billy let his daughter ALONE in a car at NIGHT while he went for some ice cream!

Sorry, bro. Nikki was not drunk that night. You have that wrong dude!

Nikki was also on the road.
She had discovered that Dylan was her son and she was distraught and driving crazy.
drunk, perhaps yes or no, either can be revealed..
Niki was shown driving crazily at the same time Adam supposedly hit Delia.

for whichever reason; both Niki and Adam were shown driving at that time that night.

I say bring back the original Adam it’s just not as interesting when someone new especially someone that isn’t anything like the original.

Chloe being on canvas makes the story more compelling. I want her to stay, I want to see Chloe and Adam try to co-exist. He has guilt over what he did to her life by killing Delia in that hit and run which makes his relationship with Chloe so much more interesting. Adam never feels guilty which sets him and Chloe apart. There’s a lot of story to tell here. Please let Y&R realize that and keep Chloe in Genoa City.

Yep as the ratings drop been five years let it go Billy left a child alone in a car ! JFP the monster and JG living in the past !!! Ugh just wait the kid will still be alive wake us up when the destruction is over MY was bad but JG is no improvement . You know what would have been compelling is mm taking the role and JH was indeed Gabe and Adam was mad because people were fooled then Nick could have raised the spawn . Nick a good father please every time Sharon sneezed he was taking Faith from her . Oh yes the ratings were suppose to sky rocket with MS and MCE coming back over payed I never missed them st all ! Over rated

Sigh. Love the actress but hate the baggage this character brings with her. They have got to stop recycling the Delia-death storyline! We already recycled this when Justin Hartley came aboard as the new Adam. This is the third recycle! Enough! Chloe was the worst thing that ever happened to Kevin–he was a great character until she got her morbid hooks into him. Now this depressing and utterly redundant storyline is ruining not just Kevin, Chloe and Adam, it is also ruining Billy and many others by extension. So sorry, not all excited to see Chloe appear for the millionth time armed to the gills with guns and bombs. ENOUGH! It has gotten so bad I do not even care that Direct TV took CBS away and I can no longer watch Y&R.

I wish she would return for good.

Hats off to all of you who recall how all of this went down. What I remember is that Adam was not a “hit and run.” He felt something, stopped, and saw a dog cross the road. That is not “hit and run.”

Not able to assess this Adam; too soon. He appears quite adept, just not showing the inking of kindness that Hartley exuded.

Chloe’s return should find what actually happened to her daughter. Pull some of these old stories together.

I am always behind in viewing. Not used to new rules in writing and reviewing. I don’t like not being able review a draft. It loses intent.

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).

Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.

Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON

Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”

Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).

Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.

“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?

During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.

Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.

You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.

Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
