Ex-Nashville and GL’s Hayden Panettiere’s Boyfriend Arrested After Allegedly Punching Her

More upsetting news involving former ABC and CMT’s Nashville star (Ex-Juliette Barnes), Hayden Panettiere.  According to various reports, the actress was punched by her boyfriend Brian Hickerson with a closed fist in an incident that occurred in Wyoming, over the Valentine’s Day weekend.  He was arrested around 2:30am on February 14th.

According to TMZ: the police report said that Hayden revealed that she and Brian were in their bedroom when he started throwing her around and punched her.  The Teton County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a disturbance at a private residence. That caller said an intoxicated male was locked out of the home because he punched his girlfriend in the face.

Pantierre’s face was red and swollen, and she also had a scrape and swelling on her left hand; which she believed came from Hickerson’s watch during the altercation.  Deputies then decided to book Hickerson for domestic battery. He was also hit with a second charge of interfering with a police officer for allegedly refusing to identify himself.

Things looked like they had taken a turn for the better before the incident, noting that the couple moved past another altercation previously from 2019.  That case was dismissed, although he has left red marks on Pantierre’s body, because they could not find a “material witness”.

Hayden and Brian have been dating since 2018.  Daytime fans remember first seeing Hayden as a young Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light.  She played Juliette on Nashville from 2012-2018.

So what do you think about the latest incident involving Hayden? Comment below.

I know a lot of women need help in finding the right man. As the saying goes, you have to kiss as lot of frogs. This poor young woman will have warts if she’s not more careful. I really wish her the best. I loved her as little Lizzie Spaulding and also as Juliette on Nashville.

I do miss NASHVILLE, Violet. Especially when Rayna was alive. A lot of good songs, likeable characters (like dreamy Gunnar), and classic nighttime soap plotting. I’ve rewatched it on DVD and it holds up well. I sure wish KNOTS LANDING was available.

Brian Hickerson needs help and beating on you is a mistake he will regret for the rest of his life. Domestic battery is a serious crime. No man/or woman has the right to assault another person. Love is the only reason a person should be touched.

#1 the justice system for domesticate abuse is ****Ed up you have to ” die” but it’s also up to the woman she has to make the tough decision to leave him for good for any ” legal” action can be taken #2 look what happened to drew Carey’s ex girlfriend she was killed and I’m sure she reported him!! #3 I’m sorry but this is what happens when you give up your legal rights of your child to a former boyfriend because you are ” I’ll” when in reality you just wanna screw around and not have to worry… Read more »

Please leave him, he might kill you next time. You must have strength to say “I don’t deserve this”! Women in these situations go back to the guy and often they are killed. Your better than this.

hi Chris-
Yes, she ”should of”
but- she didn’t ..

I understand-
I’m trained to hand kill.
I excelled in hand to hand combat (military
and once you easily can kill via a fight/hands
you are considered to be a lethal weapon
in the law, if you had that ‘particular’ training.

She held back, good for her..
but still, a couple of laid punches would have been great.
You can deliver pain without the kill.

Oprah Winfrey Helps Ellen DeGeneres Process Ending Her Talk Show & Tells Her She is ‘Proud’ of Her for Following Her Instincts

Oprah Winfrey was the once reigning queen of the daytime talk show, and that mantled was then passed on to Ellen DeGeneres, although their shows were at times, very different.

With the announcement by DeGeneres that she is ending her talk show after its 19th season which will run from fall 2021-into spring 2022, who else should be her first guest but the mighty Oprah who knows a thing or two about ending an enduring talk show.   Winfrey appeared virtually and praised Ellen for knowing it was time to call it quits and reflected on the ending of the Oprah Winfrey Show back in 2011.

Oprah expressed: “It’s almost 10 years ago …will be next week.  10 years ago when I was in this exact position. I know what those feelings are. I also know the feelings leading up to it. So hearing you say, and announcing to the world that it was your instinct, and that you thought long and hard about it … because anybody would know that for something that is as powerful as the show is in other people’s lives, that you would not take that lightly. And that coming to the realization that, ‘Now it is time,’ is a process.”

Ellen shared that her decision was about wanting to have, and do, and fulfill other creative outlets for herself.  When Oprah asked Ellen how she was feeling since she made the announcement and uttered the words, ‘the show is ending after its 19th season.’ Ellen responded:  “I didn’t rehearse the monologue. I knew what I was going to say, but the words hadn’t come out of my mouth. So I was okay until I started talking and it became real. Obviously, I got emotional because it’s real now. But I’m feeling good.  I feel like it’s the right thing to do, but I’m charged. It’s a weird thing to announce that I’m stopping.”   Winfrey then said, “I’m proud of you for trusting your instinct because I know that there has to be — as there was in the case for me — a lot of people around you that want to keep that train moving, who want to keep going.”

Winfrey said it was important that Ellen gave her staffers a one-year heads up, since so many of the people who work on the show built their financial and emotional and professional lives around it – and by giving everyone a year, it helps those that have worked on the show time to process and to figure out their next chapter, as well.

Ellen DeGeneres On Her Talk Show Exit Says Personal Attacks Following Toxic Workplace Backlash Were “Too Orchestrated … It Was Too Coordinated”

This morning on The Today Show, Savannah Guthrie’s sit-down interview with Ellen DeGeneres aired in what was her first TV interview since announcing on her talk show on Wednesday, that she was ending her show following its upcoming 19th season.

All of this comes on the heels of last summer’s nightmare of publicity for her and the show, when allegations emerged that Ellen and her staffers fostered a toxic workplace environment, which saw key executives ousted, and reports that Ellen was not nice, which had already been noted throughout Hollywood, previously.

In addressing whether the situation ultimately brought her clarity to end the series, DeGeneres told Guthrie, it wasn’t the reason, but when Guthrie asked if Ellen felt if she felt ‘canceled’ amidst society’s ‘cancel culture’, Ellen expressed:  “I really didn’t understand it, I still don’t understand it.  Yeah, I thought I thought something was going on like that, because it was too orchestrated, it was too coordinated. And, you know, people get picked on, but for four months straight for me, and then for me to read in the press about a toxic work environment, when, when all I’ve ever heard from every guest that comes on the show is what a happy atmosphere this is, and how, what a happy place it is.”

Ellen also informed Guthrie it was emotional for her to tell her staff the show would be coming to a close after next season: “I’m glad that before it leaked, I got to tell my staff and my crew, from my own words – that they didn’t hear it anyplace else. Because I haven’t been sleeping. I’ve been trying to anticipate how to tell them and, you know, hope that everybody would take it okay. A lot of people were very emotional. I got emotional.”

On today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres show look for Oprah Winfrey to be the special guest, which is sure to have the famous talk show hosts discussing Ellen’s exit from daytime.

Watch a portion of Ellen’s interview from this morning on the Today Show below.

Ellen DeGeneres to End Her Talk Show After Its 19 Season

Ellen DeGeneres informed her staff yesterday that she has made the decision to end her talk show after its upcoming 19th season.  She will sit down with Oprah Winfrey on the May 13th episode of the The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss her decision to step away.

In an exclusive interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Ellen shared: “When you’re a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged – and as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it’s just not a challenge anymore.”

The show’s end comes on the heels of all of the turmoil last summer when several former and current employees accused Ellen of fostering a toxic work environment.  As well, several key producers were let-go as a result.

When speaking with THR, DeGeneres said of last summer’s revelations and accusations against her: “It was four solid months. And you have to understand, in that time, someone got into our house and robbed us and I lost four animals — three cats and a dog died. It was a tsunami. When it started, with that stupid ‘someone couldn’t look me in the eye’ or whatever the first thing was, it’s like a crest of a wave. Like, ‘This isn’t going to be that big of a wave.’ And then it just keeps getting bigger and bigger until it was out of control. And I really, honestly, felt like, ‘I don’t deserve this. I don’t need this. I know who I am. I’m a good person.’  And I was sitting back going, ‘If I was someone watching this, I would think, ‘Well, there must be some truth to it because it’s not stopping.’ Of course they’re going to believe this because I’m not addressing it because I was told not to and you can imagine what that felt like. And it’s a lot to live up to. I started saying “be kind to one another” because I really believe people should be kind to one another and so it was easy clickbait to say, ‘Oh, the be kind lady isn’t so kind.’ … I am kind, I’m also a woman and I’m a boss.”

Earlier this morning, The Daily Mall UK reported that Ellen DeGeneres and Warner Brothers, were expected to make an announcement that she will end her talk show after the 2021-2022 season.  According to their sources, DeGeneres told her team she “has had enough and told her team that she’s done.”

It should be noted that the The Ellen DeGeneres Show has seen a steady decline in the ratings as well.  The ratings for total households from February 2020 to February 2021 were down 40% in New York City and Chicago; and in Los Angeles it lost 59%.

Ellen’s talk show has produced over 3,000 episodes.

So, what do you think of Ellen deciding to conclude her talk show? Comment below.
