Farah Fath Galfond Stands With DAYS Cast In Their Efforts to Oust Co-Executive Producer and Director

On Days of our Lives, Farah Fath Galfond got her soap start in the role of Mimi Lockhart. Her first run on the series was from 1999-2007. When she left, Farah went to One Life to Live and portrayed the role of Gigi Morasco from 2007-2012. Galfond returned to DAYS for a short run in the fall of 2018.
Now, after Deadline dropped the latest developments on the backstage tug of war at the Peacock streaming soap opera, Galfond took to Twitter to stand with her former co-stars in their efforts to have current co-executive producer and director, Albert Alarr removed from the show. A move they have made very well-known to the powers that be and now the press via a petition.
Sharing a behind the scenes incident she experienced with Alarr, Farah detailed: “I’m not on the cast anymore but I would love to sign the petition in spirit. These were my experiences too. It wasn’t until I switched shows that I realized not every set was like that. I had the particular misfortune of having Alarr direct my first ever ‘love’ scene when I was 19. He was new so I was already nervous not having one of the other directors that I was used to. I was extremely modest and freaked out to be standing in my underwear in front of. Dozens of crew (aka men that had known me since I was 15…ew) and did Albert do or say one little thing to make me feel remotely at ease? Absolutely not. He pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed me on a particular issue, and was annoyed when I stood my ground.”
She went on to say, “20 years later and I still feel sad about that day yet happy I set a boundary. But MAN would it have been nice to have a WOMAN direct that scene and make sure I felt protected instead of exposed. It’s been hard for me to read the news. I guess I’m shocked he learned nothing. After the “Me Too” movement. Or by …hello?? The cast & crew’s appalled reactions to him on daily basis?? I’m sorry to my former coworkers who’ve been dealing with this relentlessly for decades now. Proud of those who are finding their voice now. His time is up. Nice work.”

Upon sharing her story, Days of our Lives star, Arianne Zucker (Nicole) responded with, “Thank you Farah! Your words matter. Knowing you are not alone may not only start to ease what you and many others have gone through, but saying something is everything. Love you always! #Womentakingourpowerback MOVEMENT”
What do you think about the sentiments and story shared by Farah, and her standing alongside many of her former Days of our Lives co-stars who have voiced their unhappiness with the current work environment at the set? Share your thought in the comment section.
Anything for attention…
Very sad comment. SMH.
That’s a disgusting thing to say.
Put down the crack pipe Vicky . I hope you won’t regret those words someday.
She certainly sounded sincere and truthful about her experience on the set with Alarr. Why would you even make such a nasty comment, were you there?
Waiting with everyone else to hear that Alarr has been fired. I can only imagine how happy this would make the cast and crew.
I wish the Days cast and crew luck. It’s a shame this has gone on for so long. No one should have to work in such an environment. I hope this guy gets fired.
The more this goes on and more things come out, the sicker to my stomach I feel.
I’ve always liked Farah Fath.

Adam Caine Reprises His Role of Edmund Crumb on Days of our Lives

Here’s a welcome blast from the past! Coming up on Days of our Lives, look for the return of Adam Caine who reprises his role as Susan Banks’ beloved former boyfriend and husband, Edmund Crumb.
It has been 25 years since Adam played the role of Edmund, as he was only on the long-running soap opera for four memorable months.
Now, according to the latest Soap Opera Digest, Caine returns at the beginning of October in scenes with Tamara Braun (Ava) and Steve Burton (Harris). With Ava trying to remember what happened the night Susan (Stacy Haiduk) ‘died’ and her part in it, plus the two being in the run, it shall be interesting just how they try to locate or bump into Mr. Crumb!

Previously, DAYS viewers first saw Caine play the whimsical Edmund Crumb alongside Eileen Davidson’s original version of Susan. Together, they created some of the more hilarious romance segments ever on a soap opera. Eventually, Edmund and Susan married in April of 1998. The couple moved back to Edmund’s home country of England to live and that is the last we have seen of him, that is until now!
So, what do you think will happen when Edmund reappears on Days of our Lives? Will he be reunited with Susan Banks, now played by Stacy Haiduk? Comment below.

Jen Lilley Signs Off at Days of our Lives: “Playing Jeanne Theresa Donovan Off and On for the last 10 Years Has Taught Me So Much About Empathy and Grace”

This week on Days of our Lives, Jen Lilley will wrap her short-term run as Theresa Donovan. Lilley came back to reprise her role to a be a part of the on-screen memorial for Victor Kiriakis, and to honor one of her her all-time favorite scene partners, the late John Aniston.
While Lilley explained in interviews with the press, that she gave the series a 3 to 4 week window of time she would be available to reprise the role, she noted the long-running soap opera wrote more episodes and story for the character; thus the part will be turned over to another actress for the next leg of Theresa’s return story.
Meanwhile, through the years, Lilley came under fire over her run on DAYS being a devout Christian, and taking on the role of the troublemaking Theresa. She fired back in one interview, “Why should I play a role like this,’ you know? That’s been something I’ve been asked over and over again, by Christians, like,‘How can you be a Christian and play this role?’ And the truth of the matter is that from a human perspective, Theresa’s kind of a horrible person, but from a God perspective, she’s exactly who Christ came and died for.”

With her final episode streaming on Peacock on Friday, September 22nd, Lilley took to her Instagram to share her sentiments on her Salem journey over the years.
Jen shared: “Last week of me exploring this girl’s shenanigans on screen. Playing Jeanne Theresa Donovan off and on for the last 10 years has taught me so much about empathy and grace. I have enjoyed every moment of her hilarious sass and ferocity, layered with brokenness. To the cast and crew at @dayspeacock, I love you forever. You’re my family. And to the best fans a girl could ask or hope for: remember there is no pit so deep you could ever find yourself in where God’s love cannot find you still. You are never beyond redemption. You are called by grace and marked with love. Thank you for supporting me on this decade long journey. #Days #RIPJohnAniston #ripvictorkiriakis #DOOL”
No word yet if in the future, and with Lilley’s busy filming schedule (once the SAG-AFTRA and writers strikes are resolved) for Great American Family movies and other projects, if she would be available to return to DAYS should the show decide to write for the character.
So, are you sad to see Jen exit the canvas as Theresa? Curious just who and how will take over her role? There have been plenty of online rumors that a certain actress currently on the show is taking over the part. Comment below.
