Great news for The Bay and daytime fans who have missed the work of former General Hospital executive producer, Wendy Riche.  The talented lady responsible for many of GH’s most powerful and emotional storylines has joined forces with The Bay’s creator Gregori J. Martin as the digital series executive consultant!

In her role, Riche will work closely with Martin fleshing out stories for new episodes, and enhancing the production in all areas.  Riche had already started working on The Bay.   Look for Riche’s contributions to first show up in new content shooting in May that will air on Amazon Prime in the fall.

Martin said of the Riche addition:  “I was first introduced to Wendy’s work when she joined General Hospital in the early 9o’s and have been a big fan of hers ever since.  Wendy is a master at pulling on the heart strings and fleshing out characters so she’s going to help bring a lot of those elements to The Bay.  We’re all very excited to have her on board.”

So, what do you think of Wendy Riche joining The Bay? Comment below!

I wish that Wendy Riche would come back to General Hospital. I loved the Claire Labine and Wendy Riche era-Sonny and Brenda, Ned and Lois, the Q’s, Luke’s night club, the hospital stories. Such great storytelling!

Wouldn’t it be great if Wendy came back and GH had an EP who actually cared about GH and wanted to produce a show for GH fans? First order of business, take out the trash; Franco, Nina, Julian, Ava…

This is amazing. Wendy Riche is brilliant. I would give anything to have her back at GH but am glad she will be working on The Bay now. This show is about to take off in a really big way and I couldn’t be more excited. Amazon Prime will be happening this summer, no doubt.

WATCH: Nancy Lee Grahn, Jane Elliot & Kim Zimmer in ‘Covid Support Group’ Episode Two

Over the weekend, General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) along with her creative partner. comedian, Kaore Bonell released episode two of the hilarious send-up ‘Covid Support Group” which features Grahn, and two other powerhouses known for their performances on daytime drama: Jane Elliot (Tracy, General Hospital) and Kim Zimmer (Ex-Reva, Guiding Light).

In episode two, Bonell and the three women are joined by a very special guest; when none other than former Los Angeles District Attorney, who tried the OJ Simpson Murder Trial, Marcia Clark, shows up!  We won’t tell you what happens, you’ll have to check it out to see.

Watching Zimmer as a boozy version of herself, Grahn with her brilliant comedic timing, and Elliot who is also perfection in this, is just too fun that every soap fan will get a kick-of, and even if you don’t watch daytime, think about how everyone is going stir-crazy during the coronavirus pandemic, and amp it up a bit and you have the genesis of this oh-so-timely series.

Best line of episode 2 was from Grahn:  During confessions during Covid, she says to the support group, “I bitch-slapped a guy who was hoarding toilet paper at CVS, does that count? Or does Erika Slezak get my Emmy for that, too?”

Watch Covid Support Group 2 below, and then let us know what you thought of it via the comment section below!

GH’s Mark Lawson Fuels At-Home Workout With Soap Opera Competition: “Dante, Dante, Dante, Dominic, Dominic, Dominic … But What About Dustin?”

As fans and colleagues of General Hospital and former One Life to Live star, Mark Lawson (Dustin, GH) know, he often posts on his Instagram account at-home workouts from his garage including: exercises with: kettlebells and free weights. In real-life, Lawson is a fitness guru, as well.

In one of his most recent posts over the holiday weekend, Mark used the constant chatter of a potential return of Dominic Zamprogna to GH to reprise his role of Dante Falconeri (which would pit Mark’s school teacher alter-ego Dustin at-odds with Dante, for the love of Lulu (Emme Rylan)) to charge up his workout routine! So what’s a guy to do?  Bicep curls!

Next, fueling his workout in a hilarious send-up, Lawson, as he is curling dumbbells remarks: “You want Dante back? Dante, Dante, Dante … Dominic,Dominic,Dominic … It’s all you talk about.  It’s all you care about, but what about Dustin?  What’s up with Dustin?  Where’s good guy Dustin? School teacher Dustin, who never shot nobody.  Never hurt anybody and all he wanted was a girlfriend.   All everybody talks about is Dante, Dante, Dante. Dominic, Dominic, Dominic.”

You can watch Mark’s IG post below!

Then let us know, if you hope there will be some healthy soap opera competition for the love of Lulu down the line between Dustin and Dante, if Dominic returns to the show.  If he does return, would you be Team Dustin or Team Dante? Share your thoughts via the comment section.
