Bryce Durfee Makes a Return to ‘General Hospital’

General Hospital pulled off yet another surprise in this drama and action-filled week of episodes when on Friday, July 3, none other than WSB Agent Vaughn returned in the form of Bryce Durfee!
The last time viewers saw Vaughn was back in November of 2025 when he was dragged away at the orders from WSB Port Charles Bureau Chief, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
Previously, Bryce first showed up on the ABC daytime drama series as Agent Vaughan back on March 7, 2025. In the story, Vaughn was brought in by Brennan as Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) WSB handler. However, one thing led to another, and Vaughn and Josslyn ended up in a steamy affair which is against the rules to be in any form of a relationship with another agent.

Try as they might to keep their hands off each other, and to stay away from each other, they would find covert ways to spend some “sexy time” together, until Brennan found out and that’s how agent Vaughn was literally dragged off the canvas!
WHO DID VAUGHN COME TO SEE?
It’s been eight months since we last saw Agent Vaughn who shows up out of nowhere at the PCPD to see Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) who is behind bars. He wants Britt to cooperate with the WSB because they know how much of a hand she had in the cold fusion prototype and the final project of her father, Cesar Faison.
Additionally, Vaughn met up with Molly (Kristen Vaganos), Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) to discuss the fate and whereabouts of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Now the big question looms, will Vaughn cross paths with and go see Josslyn who is recovering in the hospital from gun shot wounds, or just slink out of town? According to GH, as told to Soap Opera Digest, Bryce Durfee is back just for two episodes.
So were you glad to see Agent Vaughn back on the canvas? Do you hope Vaughn and Josslyn will reconnect even for a conversation? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
Oh, I hate to learn he’s only back for 2 episodes. Not only do I like him with Joss, but there’s certainly a Frisco paternity story there if they ever want one. He looks too much like 1980’s Frisco for them to ignore. Come on GH, keep him around.
He was useless had no chemistry with joss and was dex 2.0
I don’t know why general hospital won’t keep this handsome man around. Vaughan has chemistry with jossolyn and Britt. They will probably put Britt with the new boring looking pretty boy Tristan. Vaughn is exciting and reminds me of Frisco.
He had chemistry with Molly. He was just too old for Joss.
Although it wasn’t a chem test, Molly and Vaughn did seem like they would gel.
Vaganos has shown she can handle heavy material. Lately, she’s been saddled with a snooze-worthy D level storyline with Cody.
He has no chem with joss
How right you are
I agree
I was hoping he was here to stay for a while longer than two episodes I like him and he is so easy on the eyes
I’m SO glad it’s a short return.
I don’t like the character and he had zero chemistry with Joss.
It was like the show was forcing us to like him after Dex died.
Hes a keeper!!!
Keep Bryce Durfree on General Hospital. He’s a good actor and not hard on the eyes!!

‘General Hospital’ Casts Alimi Ballard in New Role

A familiar face to ABC daytime fans is about to make a return to the broadcast television network, when Alimi Ballard makes his debut as new character William Baines on the Thursday, September 3 episode of General Hospital.
Early in his career, Ballard played Frankie Hubbard, the grown-up son of legendary All My Children super couple, Angie (Debbi Morgan) and Jessie Hubbard (Darnell Williams). Alimi played the part starting on Loving in 1993 which later was rebranded The City in 1995.

Could William Baines be a detective, a WSB agent, or something else? Stay tuned!
If Ballard also looks very familiar to you, he has an impressive list of TV and film credits including: Quizmaster in Sabrina the Teenage Witch and FBI agent David Sinclair on Numb3rs, and starred with Vivica A. Fox (Stephanie, Y&R) on the sitcom, Arsenio, plus roles in numerous episodic dramas including: Criminal Minds, Queen Sugar, Queen of the South, Law & Order and The Rookie.
