General Hospital
GENERAL HOSPITAL: Is Frisco Jones The Bio-Dad Of Levi Dunkleman? What Is The Connection?

Courtesy/ABC
On yesterday’s episode of General Hospital, the plot thickened as Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) found a shot Scribner bleeding out of the cabin floor where Scribner and Levi (Zachary Garred) took Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) hostage!
After giving some Intel to the cops, that Levi shot him and took off with the girls, as Scribner is about to try to tell the duo where Levi took them, he passes out before he can say anything.
Next, Dante and Nathan look for clues in the cabin, and lo and behold, Dante finds an old newspaper article inside a book that headlines that Andrew “Frisco “Jones (Jack Wagner) found the Aztec Jewels.
But when Dante turns over the paper there is a picture of a young Frisco and Felicia (Kristina Wagner), with Frisco’s face circled in black marker ink. So, that begs the question as many fans have speculated: Could Frisco be the biological father of Levi Dunkleman? But that would be pretty out there, given that Frisco is the biological father of Maxie! Or, maybe Levi is targeting Maxie and the jewels in a vendetta against Frisco and his family? So, what is the connection here? Weigh-in below!
errrrrrrrrr…can’t be. that would make Maxi and Levi siblings…and they kinda did the deed!
Ewwwww!….yuck….yuck…yuck to infinity.
What if Maxie isn’t Frisco’s? Whole new can of worms, and then some.
Well, we know now Levi is the son of Peter Harrel…Felicias ex…so maybe thats who Fluke really is but did he ever hit on Flecia…cant recall?
I dont remember Peter as well…maybe Peter/Levi is a story seperate from Flukes…maybe Levi’s mother died tragically because of Sonny off camera and if Fluke is Levi’s DunkleDaddy perhaps this is why Fluke/Peter hates Sonny?…sounds plausable to me but it’ll probably be a totally different outcome!!!
Peter was on GH years before Sonny ever stained the Port Charles canvas……so even if Mr. Harrell survived his “Reichenbach Falls” death scene, I see no connection with Corinthos. While the most likely suspect to be the man behind FLuke remains Bill Eckert, the only other two plausible choices are Damian Smith or Trevor Lansing, although thus far, the clues point to Bill.
CeeCee….Why are you so obsessed with Sonny Boy’s sexual exploits? You seem to want to pin every unexplained paternity on his well-distributed DNA, yet also claim to loathe the greasy gangster and his man-ho habits! Me thinks thou dost protest toooo much! LOL… ; )
I dont think Levi is Frisco’s son…i believe Levi is connected to an enemy of Frisco’s and stole the jewels as part of his revenge plans…maybe Frisco learned of Levi and is just investigating his background…i still think he’s Flukes son and was stealing the aztec jewels for the money to help support Flukes plans to take over ELQ or something like that…just a guess!!!
Very plausible, jimh. Nonetheless, one way or another, Frisco is part of this entire imbroglio.
I have never heard of Peter, jimh. Does he have a grudge against Sonny? I thought this is what it was all about? To stick it to Sonny? As I said I started watching when Kiki/Starr lost her baby in the car accident. But I will read some of Peter’s history and catch up. Perhaps that will clear things up for me…too much of a big chunk missing.
I originally thought, due to his Australian accent, ( albeit his lily-white coloring–yuck–didn’t match the typically tanned Aussie body), that Levi was Jerry Jax’s son, who was, in turn, affiliated with Fluke. But since Levi seems to be as American as you and I, jimh, I’m beginning to lean toward his being Fluke’s son also.
…or, jimh, it could be that Levi is Sonny’s son? Lol. It seems that all roads do not lead to Rome, but to Sonny. Why not Sonny? He probably fathered most of the young population in Port Charles and then some….I mean, there’s Puerto Rico, no? Plus, such a ruthless mobster as he must have traversed the globe a few times. He probably has kids strewn in every corner of the world. Afterall, he has played house with just about every woman in Port Charles and beyond…lol
If Frisco is Levi’s Dad then that means that Levi slept with his sister so I hope not.
Nope, never happen..
RC , FV, have to run the stories by ABC before going ahead..
ABC would never go for it..
(it would be interesting, for sure!)
Michael, I hope not, because that would mean Maxie has been in a relationship (and having sex with) her brother…YUCK!
Oh Gawd would RC go there??? I hope not, that would be too gross.
Did frisco get the jewels from Levi’s relatives??
not siblings, vendetta. but may not be his vendetta. figure Fluke is some how involved here
Michael, it is obvious that Levi is the son of Colton Shore and Ariella…..isn’t it?
Thanks,
Celia and Grant
Miss you Celia & Grant.
Grant Andrews or Grant Putnam?
Eww!
If he believed Frisco was his dad he would have known Maxie was his sister. If he did know and gads ex with her anyway that just makes his character more despicable than he already is . That guy makes my skin crawl and there is nothing they can do to redeem him in my opinion.
This show needs to stop trying so hard.
I agree. The storylines are becoming too convoluted.Just focus on the basics: core characters, core families, friendships, hospital stories, romances.
General hospital made a bane for its self based on high stakes intricate stories. Adventure time
@Mark Could not agree more.
That would be boring. Love a good mystery…with all the spoilers it’s great that they can still keep us guessing!
totally agree. this story is a snore – unless Jack Wagner would like to return again 🙂
Every day another twist. I absolutely love GH.
OK Gross….then he was knowingly sleeping with his sister and he would NEVER do that to Maxie or his son. He is going to be Mac’s son…it’s SO obvious, Frisco HATES Mac for ending up with Felicia so he tracked down and found Levi and used him to get back at Mac and Felicia. Hence why he shot Mac….he hates his father for abandoning him and making Maxie his child. He even used the Aussie accent to mock him.
ummm, no. Frisco would never put Maxi in harm’s way. He’s her father!
Really! Unless RonC is doing another revisionist personality transplant on a beloved legacy character….he already did a pretty good hatchet job on Frisco the last time around! However, I’m certainly hoping not! It would be so great to see Jack Wagner return to GH—-as a triumphant hero on this visit! As for “Der Dunkledude” being a Jones? Nah, the Peter Harrell Jr. scenario seems much more plausible (not to mention more palatable….) though I was sort of convinced he was going to be Sly Eckert.
By the second “he” I MEANT Frisco.
OK, Joe. Thanks for clarifying. But still…Frisco wouldn’t plot anything that would put Felicia and/or Maxi in danger. By putting Mac in danger, which I think would be out of character for Frisco, he’d hurt both of Felicia and Maxi…either emotionally or physically.
Love Dunkleman/Zachary Garred!
I hope he is contracted!
yah, he could be Frisco’s son.. and then he slept with his sister, that would be a great twist.. wouldn’t be the person to sleep with a brother or sister, not knowing..
RC likes shockers and surprises, so looking forward to whatever it is..
(( long live the da` Dunkleman !!!
Have you read the complainers comments…jumping to conclusions that Levi and Maxi are siblings before knowing the outcome…i doubt they are related…this stuff happens in everyday life with brothers and sisters falling in love with each other…those people need to grow up…geez, why does this all sound familiar to me…like a similiar reply was once sent to me when i objected to a certain storyline(not from you but from other GH fans)…lmfao!!!
Great comment, n rl, I’m a product of incest, only not out of love!
I guess I have lived a very sheltered life…
OMG, su000. A little puzzled here. Did I read you right? Are you saying it’s ok to sleep with your sibling if you weren’t aware he/she was your sibling? If that’s the case…Lord help me, please…lol
CeeCee, the more outrageous and outre’ the storyline, the better su0000 likes it. She was decidedly delirious with delight over Sonny and Ava’s stomach-churning crypt tryst!!!
What? You didn’t like that? hahaha. Sigh…Aj….
I hope not because I want the character of Levi to be gone ASAP!
awww Max.
Dunkleman is a delicious character, a real soap character and Zachary is ruling the character Dunkleman..
I hope he is on contract..
da`Dunkleman = never a dull moment!! … I like that..
Ewww, that’s just gross. I hope not. Just end this dumb storyline. It makes the PCPD look even more inept than they already do. Ugh. Not to mention, it’s a very boring storyline. Filler story, really.
RC has led us to believe that he would “go there” before. Remember when Britt & Nathan almost “went there”? In the end, he didn’t and wouldn’t, but he does like to get the fans worked up over the possibilities.
Honestly, RC is capable of a lot of OTT stuff, but a character KNOWINGLY committing incest is too much even for him. So no, I don’t think Levi is Maxi’s brother by another mother. Maybe Maxi isn’t Frisco’s? Many scenarios are plausible, but I don’t think incest is one of them. Maybe I’m giving RC too much credit. He is his own biggest fan and can’t resist the “shock & awe” in his own mind.
“All I Need” is for Levi to be off the show now!
agreed!
Today we learned his “real” name is Peter Harrell. Peter Harrell was engaged to Felicia when she first arrived in Port Charles. I don’t remember if that character was ever seen on the show.
Yes, Peter Harrell appeared on GH in mid-1980s during the original Aztec Treasure storyline. He was played by an actor named Judson Scott. According to online sources, the character was killed off.
Always thought he looked more like Felicia’s brother…..
OK but didn’t the DNA reveal Maxie was Frisco’s biological daughter? Unless it was tampered withlike eeverything else. Regardless it is getting crazier and crazier so we shall see. I kind of hopetthey DNA was tampered with because MAC is a great dad which is something GE really doesn’t have to be. Frisco and Levi, father and son is just creepy I really really hope in no way Levi slept with his sister knowing the truth cuz OMG that would be so wrong and disgusting!
Who/what is GE
I’m just thrilled Fairman’s theory that Levi would be Mac’s son was false False FALSE. Mac doesn’t deserve such a douchetron as a son.
We’ll if Levi is Frisco son Maxie could be max daughter that could be why Frisco did this to Maxie ?
Maybe Levi did this knowing he was frescos and Maxie is mac
I think they gave dunkledude a spray tan. He looks cute! Too bad he cut his beautiful hair…(wonder which episode that will be revealed…and why did he do it???!!!! LOL…not the whole sinister plot…but why oh why did he shear his locks!!!???
He does look like he has a darker hue to him. I had posted a few weeks ago that Levi was whiter than white…odd for an Aussie. He completely irritates me, especially his smile. Begone!!
Ha! Yes, I remember your whiter than white comment…he also had pink rimmed eyes…but still, I think if I saw him in the street I’d think he was good-looking. Not drop dead Nathan good-looking (that man is beyond stunning) but I also like Dunkle’s cool look (at that would me if I met him in real life; personality always effects looks for me so he’s less attractive to me on the show.)
I’d like him to BeStay! Just wondering how they can redeem his character since he not only shot his sidekick but Mac as well. Going to difficult to come back from that…
@CeeCee…..Yes, I did notice ZG goofed a few times in his “American” accent, particularly the first day, but I think he is getting better! Even that awesome Aussie himself, “The Mentalist” Simon Baker, has verbally slipped on occasion in his very convincing role as a Yank, so I can cut “Der Dunkster” a break or two. Besides, I am so accustomed to listening to foreign accents from all the international programming I watch (mostly British….) I really don’t mind. Additionally, I love GH’s authentically cosmopolitan feel that comes from having true Aussies, Brits, Scots, Danes, etc. It has long been a trademark of the series. As for using American actors to play foreigners? Not always the best bet…when Mac (John J. York) arrived on the scene, he absolutely mangled his Aussie speak, so much in fact, that the showrunners finally told him to abandon his efforts altogether.
As usual, rebecca1, we disagree! LOL. I’m glad the lame eco-garb, flip flops, unflattering yoga pants, and most especially, the “DunkleDo” are gone….it reminded me too much of Bruce Jenner’s bizarre coiffure. Even if “Peter Jr.” is a confirmed bad boy, at least his looks (and accent….) are All-American. I’m finding him much more intriguing (and palatable….) this way. ZG has done a good job with the transformation!
Haven’t seen the latest episode yet, Shay…so I haven’t seen the new and not improved-maybe I’ll think improved version.
I just think if I met him in a beach town, tank top, flip flops and long, gleaming copper tresses I’d think he was a good-looking surfer dude type. I have a lot of types…
Again, Nathan is my go-to reference at this point because I find hims so chiseled/striking…but I’m taking him out of the equation and just judging the now defunct dunkle on his own hippy merit. Same reason I thought Nathan Parsons was hot…between the accent and that hair…
By the by…I hear Sabrina is going to get a crew cut.
Hi, Shay. How are ya? Lol…..I just want to bring to your attention the fact that if you listen very closely to Levi speak, you will detect an eskewed English/Ameicana word or two. His American ,regional accent seems to slip making him not sound so American, afterall.
Transformation or not, I’d like to see a TRUE American play this part. I am sure there are many AMERICAN unemployed actors out there who would love to fill this guys boots.
Hi Shay. I do not mean American actors playing foreigners…I would like to see American actors given American roles. Levi is supposedly American, yes? So why not give the role to an American actor? ….or did I get that wrong? Wasn’t he supposedly ‘faking’ the Aussie accent?
I really hope not! That would be all kinds of disgusting, especially since Levi is a sleazy jerk. I think the real story is that Levi is the son of one of Frisco’s enemies… and maybe that enemy is Fluke. I feel like he is somehow connected to all this… But god I really don’t want Levi and Maxie to be siblings! No thanks!
LOL!
RC is trolling y’all ..
He and ABC would not allow it to go that way, not going to happen..
RC is good, very good, at creating controversy, and that is a very good thing!!
Anyone who actually believes RC/ABC would have Maxie having sex with brother, needs a vacation .. lol 🙂
I would like it if it were an OOOPSS! I slept with my brother..
That would indeed be an intriguing story, and never done before, a firstie!!
It is a story, nothing is actually real, so yah why not..
would be journey watching how that would play out, for sure..
(but ain’t gonna happen 🙁
Actually suOOOO, you are sort of wrong…back in the 60s on Days Marie and her brother Tommy fell in love with each other not knowing they were sister and brother…Tommy had facial surgery because of the war, suffered from amnesia and called himself Mark…when the Horton family found out Mark was the thought dead Tommy Horton, Marie was so shocked she had fallen in love with her brother she took off and became a nun…maybe they never slept together and other soaps explored the same story…Y&Rs Lauralee Brooks became attracted to a man who she later learned was her half brother…technically its been played out before even if they didnt go all the way!!!
ohh my gorsh .. in the 60’s! ..
You have an awesome recall, jimh!!
Anyways, it has happened in real life to some people / brother sister love/sex not knowing they were brother and sister..
I think it would be a great story!!! and now that’s its 2014/21st century they can, well did, go all the way..
now, that is a wow story, I’m hoping it goes that way !! –exciting!–
AMC also explored that theme when Mark La Mura joined the show as Mark Dalton. Erica took a real shine to him until her mortified mother, Mona felt forced to inform her that he was the illegitimate son of her late ex-husband, and Ms. Kane’s father, Eric.
I have a challenge out there for GH fans. How do you get invested in any of RC’s storytelling? Characters come and are on for a couple of days and then off they go for a couple of weeks. Sorry someone please explain to me how anyone can enjoy this show. Please be kind! 🙂
GH is like a train accident…you dont really want to look but something compels you to and you dont know why…lol
I LUV it!! I like his fast stories and I don’t get bored… I don’t need to see the same scene over and over. I fast through much of Days since the storylines are so slow and boring. and take soooo long… come onnnnnn really… Jordon’s storyline???? how long she was on and nothing has happened even interesting…. boorrrrinnnggg for me….
Simply put, for the love of the show, loyalty and appreciation of a show that has been in our hearts and homes for decades. We grew up with many of these characters and realize( as we have seen with many soaps) they could be cancelled at any time. We love the “family” and although we do not always like the storylines, like families also disagree, we still love the show and the characters! Hope that enlightens you in some way….
I enjoy GH because it’s a fun escape from my every day life. A nice way to relax and unwind after a long week of work, when I catch up on the weekends. Put my feet up, and laugh, cry, hang on the edge of my seat wondering what’s gonna happen next, that’s what the show provides for me.
I enjoy the nice mix of stories and characters that they’ve found. There’s drama, action, comedy, romance, a little something for everyone, which wasn’t really the case under the previous regime that ran the show.
Unfortunately, there are always gonna be characters that aren’t on screen for weeks at a time, when you have a large cast. But I think they do a good job of incorporating as much of the cast as possible into the various stories.
And I think GH has the best ensemble cast in daytime period. So many actors and actresses that I enjoy watching, and that’s one of the main reasons why I like the show.
First and foremost there are ONLY 4 soaps and God forbid a drama less daytime now or anywhere in the near future. Look @k/kay I am truly less than impressed with what used to be the most intriguing well written soap on the air Y&R..but in all the time since the loss of its creator Bill Bell I have found something to enjoy about it. Even now as much as I complain about character and story and recasts I still tune in. Heck this week with that anticlimactic Mariah reveal I’ve had this show back on my DVR after two months of a show here a show there. At one point I just found I had to calm down, take the show for what it is at the moment and hope for change somewhere down the road. I just don’t EVER want a soap less daytime and therefore i utilize my FF while adding my point to the neilsen ratings instead of just turning the show off altogether and hoping it’s there sooner or later when I decide to return to it.
Complain because we all will and do..but keep the show on even if you aren’t watching. Use your DVR but keep your viewership visible even if you just tape it and delete it..with soaps though..that’s hard to do…you always peek. JUST DON’T GIVE UP K/KAY!!!! PLEEEEASSSE???
Davlestev…as yourself, I think Y&R used to be the best soap on the air. But this new regime has cut the show at the knee, per se. The characters are dull; nothing of consequence that piques the intellect or interest is brought to the fore. For example, that mish-mash at the Chancellor dedication park, or whatever it’s called was a bust…yawned until my mouth hurt.
And, as far as the Mariah story? There was never any anticlimax because there was no big reveal! We knew from the get go who Mariah was….there was no mystery.
That’s what I’m talking about….at least GH had me scratching my head about Levi,…and, I’m still scratching…lol
because the other 3 alternatives aren’t exactly better. yes, RC is not good at being consistent, or is that FV fault.? yes, RC is in charge of the writting, but isn’ FV in charge on how the show looks, and how the episodes are put together? a good example is milo and epiphany, and how they made a big deal of them coming together wish all happened in one episode and that was it. who knows when we we’ll see this blossoming relationship play out. the show sucks at momentum, even the current levi story is being stretch out by airing it one day and then nothing for two days, its frustrating hope the show fixes this. because they do this way too much with all the characters except maybe Sonny who seems to be in everyone else stories.
I will be happy when Levi is off the show period. Maybe if he was Sly and they would have him obssesed with Liz, his cousin’s (Lucky) soulmate….but no he is waisted on Maxie …..so kill him off and lets get more Nina and Franco!! They could be the very funny and coocoo couple this show needs!
It would be a huge disappointment if they made Frisco out to be a negative character after all these years!
I hope Mac’s theory about Levi/Frisco is true. That would be really awesome. I don’t think Levi is Frisco’s son, but I do think that “Levi” is Fluke’s son ergo – Sly and Bill Eckert.
I tyhink Levi is Bill Eckerts son “Sly”. And Bill Eckert is “Fluke.”
I believe Maxie was born before Mac even came to town and met Felicia, so Mac can’t be Maxie’s father without a true miracle.
I remember reading of Peter Harrell before, but the character was before my time, so I have no interest so far in the story of the jewels.
Fluke and Sonny are one story and Levi and Maxie are different. Sonny may help Dante recover Maxie but Sonny never was mixed up in anything with the Aztec treasure. As its been pointed out, Sonny was not on the show in the 80’s. Fluke has to be a enemy of Sonny’s. Had Ric not been on the show prior to Fluke entering the picture, it would have been cool to have Ric be Fluke. Ric hates Sonny more than anyone.
I don’t think Dunk is Maxie’s brother. I was happy to see Frisco’s picture and hope that means he is coming back. I love Frisco and especially with Felicia. One of my all time favorite couples. Just like Sonny and Carly, Frisco and Felicia’s destiny is to be together. I think the Aztec jewelry/kidnapping of Maxie and Lulu and the fauxLuke/Sonny/ELQ storylines are different. GH writers do work on more than one storyline at a time. They are just generating questions to build up for the fall sweeps.
sean donely was also after the treasure,,an frisco messed them both up,,,sean became a good guy after,,,but levi said fri that a 3rd girl would pay as well,,im thinkin sean an tiffs daughter,,,id love to see wagner coem back,,he said he can work woth kristina no prob,,,as for fluke,,i say its damian smith or jerry jax
@Timmm “all I need” LOL! Touché!

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Reconnects with Danny; Tristan Roberts Arrives in Port Charles, Lots of Nods to #16

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.
Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.
As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY
Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.
Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.
Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS
Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.
In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”
So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.
