The engagement party from hell begins this week on ABC’s General Hospital, and you can expect lots of twist and turns and drama as Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) tries to get rid of the evidence and keep her secret that Lulu (Emme Rylan) is actually the bio-mom of baby Ben! With Britt and Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) set to have their big soiree at Wyndemere, will it truly go off without a hitch?

In this sneak peek video, Britt is about to destroy the contents of the envelope containing the truth of baby Ben’s parentage when Lulu drops by (she has been helping plan the party!) and tells Britt, “You are one wedding ceremony away from being my sister-in-law!”  Later she says to Britt in regards to Ben, “As his stepmother, I will practically be your understudy as far as Ben is concerned.”   Oh my!  Oh Lulu!

Will Lulu finally learn the truth?  Will Britt get away with covering up her lies and her tracks yet again?   What do you hope happens next in this ongoing story of “The Britch” and the baby?  Watch the sneak peek after the jump, and then weigh-in!

So ready for Lante to get their baby and hope Brittch finally has to pay for all the crap she has done. Sorry I don’t buy the whole ‘redeemed by love’ BS since she is acting just like she did before just a little less bitchy. Let her lose and I have a feeling we will see the real Britch come back.

Hit the nail on the head. I feel the same way!

I agree!

Love it!!!

Hmmm let’s see, Britt will lie, nick will believe her, our beloved Liz /Rebecca will still be relagated to second banana, to Britt, Carly, Sabrina, Sam ect, RC will bring back someone from the dead, hire 10 new characters, let the villains get away with murder n Dumb down the police department and on & on.

Sounds about right! I really don’t like the storylines lately.

All of this has already been done…lol

How long will it take to end this story-line? Lulu has already missed out on so much time with baby Ben.

it is time for LuLu to learn that Ben is her baby!!!!!!!

I hope that Lulu finally gets her baby back. Why can’t Brit do the honorable thing and tell the truth? I hope Nik finds out what she’s been doing to his sister before the wedding.

Stupid storylines! This is one of the worst along with Molly’s attitude – she needs to be bitch-slapped and not by her boyfriend. Alexis needs to lock her up.

I hope T.J., who slept with Taylor, does have sex with Molly and she ends up getting an STD then hopefully Mollys attitude will change!!!

I hope Alexis get one. Why can’t she date someone who is ethical, she can’t preach what she doesn’t practice.

It is about time that Lulu get her son ….. I can’t stand Britch

This storyline has gone way too long. For one thing, why let Lulu continue to suffer because she cannot have children? Of course, don’t start me on that conversation, which is beyond ridiculous. Never have liked Britt since day one and she hasn’t convinced me at all she deserves any of my sympathy. Just because she feels guilty hasn’t meant she’s ever done the right thing. At least Liz has learned from past mistakes and owns up to them as well as Lulu. Brit will never change. She will ever be Dr O’Shit’s mom, she is just like her. Give Ben back to his real parents, let them move on and put Dante and Lulu into a different storyline. I hope Nik sides with his sister, but something tells me TPTB will write him standing by Brit. If that is the case, I surely hope Lulu tells Nik he isn’t part of her family anymore. Let Nik suffer too. I loved Nik but it will be easy not to if that is the way he chooses to go. I do think DZ and ER have really taken this storyline as far as they can, so let’s move on and give them something else to sink their teeth into together.

Im still hoping for a twist: Lulu finds out Bens her child, gets custody and has him for 6 months…then Britts mutter reveals Lulus stolen eggplants werent used and Britt really is Bens mumma!!! Then Lulu has a breakdown, goes to that same mental hospital were Luke was, is drugged and brainwashed, then returns thinking she’s 18 and has the hots for Micheal and Morgan!!!(a reworking of Ron C’s Jessica plot on OLTL when Jess thought she was a teenager)lol

You do know that Michael and Morgan are her cousins

Yep…but it wouldnt mean she’d go with them!!!

Oh, for the love of Zeus!…. Really?

I hope we don’t have to wait until the “does anyone object?”at their wedding!!

I’m rooting for Britt—can’t stand Lulu after the horrible way she treated Maxie several months ago.

I for one hope it will takes years for Lulu to learn the truth. It should come out when Ben is a teenager, but I doubt many will agree. I believe many reveals happen too quickly on soaps today. I think the longer the secret is kept the more explosive the reveal is when it does happen, but few soap fans or writers have the patience to wait that long. So I suspect the truth will come out during May sweeps.

I agree with you…i remember o Days when it took like 8 years before Mike Horton and Mickey Horton to find out that Mickey wasnt Mikes father and Bill was which also meant Mickey wasnt the father of Linda’s daughter Melissa as well…an enraged Mickey got a gun, confronted Bill and during a struggle Bill was shot…and Mickey had to be placed in a sanitarium because of a mental collapse…great drama that kept me tuning in and cutting school on occasion(not often)…lol

I don’t like LuLu she irks me so I want Britt to keep the baby!!
I use to like Dante until his recent hair style, it’s horrible LOL ..
Britt needs a break, she’s a good mother..

This will go on util the wedding when, just before the ”I do” it will come to light probably by Dr. O, or not .. lol

I am beginning like Brit more and more. Please don’t put Nikolas back with Liz she is so boring and but into every bodys business and cant take of her own ugly mess she has created for her life.

Please let LuLu have her baby. It is past time for her to be happy for a change!!!

She needs to tell the truth . Emilys ghost needs to come and tell Nicholas

I am so sick of all the nefarious and hiding of truths, that it is be coming too childish! Can we ever get a sensible story line and not the same shenanigans?

umm GH is a soap opera, ya know .. it is the way of the soaps 🙂

This storyline has dragged on for far too long. They’re well past the point where they could still whitewash Britt by blaming it all on the evil Dr. O since we all know differently. So time too wrap it up already.

When will the good people of Port Chuckles ever learn that nothing good ever, EVER happens at Wyndemere? Every party held there ends in death and disaster. (The place must have the worst feng shui on earth.) Not that the Metro Court has a much brighter history …

This reminds me a lot of the whole P.J./Steven Lars saga of 35 years ago-ironically, that was the storyline that got me to watch GH inn the first place! A lot of lives were torn apart because of Heather’s actions then, and now here’s Britt manipulating Nikolas, Dante, and Lulu the same way Heather did with Jeff, Peter, and Diana! By the time that story ended, both Peter and Diana were dead and Jeff fled town with his son to get away from Heather. It is just too cruel to let Lulu suffer for so long. Why is it on this show that ‘legacy’ characters (i.e. second-generation) characters are always being dumped on? Look at A.J. and Lulu: constantly being victimized by others with their lives in jeopardy all the time!!! We might as well add Robin to this category. For once, I’d like to see both A.J. and Lulu being able to find some lasting happiness storywise and become much stronger persons. Time to give the kid back, Britt: you’re gonna lose everything if you don’t!!

There is no ”ever lasting happiness” in any soap..
soaps are not about happy or happy ever afters, they are about drama , mostly in most every way some sort of tragedies ..

I had much rather the show runners had gotten rid of Britt than AJ. This actress just can’t bring it.

I am really sorry to see SK go. The show needs AJ, and AK is AJ Quartermaine. I hope they see the error of their ways and get both Kanan and AJ back. Guza and Company tried very hard to make AJ irredeemable and the current writing team didn’t have the chops to undo the damage. Pity, a real pity.

what is the hidden connection between Nathan “West” and Britta “West”bourne?????????????

This is the most ridiculous storyline and has gone on for far too long. Though, I do like Britt, she has softened. Love her scenes with her “muttah.” NuLulu still has not grown on me. I miss Julie Marie Berman.

I am not even watching faithfully anymore after 37 yrs. Writers are out there on some story lines and repeating others lets hope this is the last whose baby is this for a long time. If they payed attention to the fans they would have much better ratings because we are the ones that bring them a pay check. Hate to lose gh but if things don’t improve will we even care.

I love Britt with Nickiloa, she has softened up, but is still alittle edgy. I want her relationship with Nickolas to thrive. I donot want Liz back with Nickolas; I want that character off the canvas. I really have never seen the value of the character. To me, she is the Amy Vinning of today (someone that viewers know) that have some story background, and loans filler when needed Otherwise, GET RID OF HER!!!!!

whether it is good writing or not ben is being used as property just like sam’s baby to make the parents feel better or worse althouh this is a soap opera this should stop now

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brook Lynn and Chase Have Their Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties

On General Hospital, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) both were treated to Bachelorette and Bachelor parties to shake off any of those pre-wedding jitters. At The Savoy, the ladies have a touching and fun time with Brook Lynn.

The bride-to-be gives a speech to thank everyone for coming, while Lois lets everyone know to try the signature cocktail the “Brooklynn Chaser”, which gets everybody eventually and mostly, drunk.

When Tracy (Jane Elliot) questions Lois (Rena Sofer) as to why there is no music for the party, Lois realizes she forgot, and somehow, who does she call to the rescue? Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)! Saving the day, he winds up playing some tunes and later gets on the dance floor to ‘shake it off’ with the gals.

Photo: ABC

Lois makes a speech as the mother of the bride, and shares how proud she is of the woman Brook Lynn has become. Wedding games begin, including one of “hot potato” with a wedding bouquet.

When it’s time for the “Silly Poses” section of the party, Spinelli has now morphed from DJ to staff photographer taking memorable photos of the ladies to remember the evening by.

Photo: ABC

The best part of the event, was when Brook Lynn tries to get her grandmother Tracy out on the dance floor, which, at first, she refuses. After several of the guests bust a move, a tipsy Tracy joins the dance party after Joss mentions that if her grandmother Bobbie was here, she would dance. Tracy says “she agrees” and begins to cut a rug on the floor, much to the delight of the other women.

In the final moments, a tipsy Joss and Kristina (Kate Mansi) have a confrontation about Sonny, and Joss lets Kristina in more on Sonny’s behavior, which looks to have clued in Kristina a bit more as to how something is way off about her dad.

Across town at the Hatchett Bar, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and the men with the exception of Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper), all attend Chase’s Bachelor Party where throwing hatchets into a dart board for supremacy is the order of the day. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ned (Wally Kurth) get into some words over ELQ, while Dante makes a toast to his police partner, Chase.

Photo: ABC

Suddenly Dex (Evan Hofer) shows up. Chase thanks Dex for coming, but Dex gets some dirty looks from other cops on the force. Dante gives Chase his present, which is a signed baseball by the Boston Red Sox.

Ned (Wally Kurth) makes a speech that although no one is good enough for his daughter, Brook Lynn, Chase has come closer than anyone has, so welcome to the family. Running in at the end is Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), who just left Brook Lynn’s party, and she toasts her singing partner, Chase, and to the great man that he is.

Cameron Mathison Previews New Game Show ‘Beat The Bridge’ (Promo)

As previously reported, Cameron Mathison (Drew, General Hospital) will be seen doing double duty this summer when he premieres in June as the host of Game Show Network’s Beat The Bridge.

Now, while Cameron will be the host with the most, that doesn’t mean he will stop playing GH’s Drew.  In fact, Mathison taped the game show in 2023, so it will now air for the first time in 2024.

Taking to his Instagram this week, Cameron shared his enthusiasm and some new hosting snaps, sharing, “Our newest game show host reporting for duty😎 Head over to the Game Show Network YouTube channel for your first look at the show and don’t miss Beat The Bridge premiering this June! I can’t wait for you guys to see this!”

Photo: GSN

In Beat The Bridge, an enormous interactive bridge dares players to cross by stepping on the right answers to challenging trivia questions. As they play, each steps forward and puts money in their team’s bank, with bonus money for each successful crossing. Here’s the catch: the team gets to keep the money only if it can “beat the bridge” by returning one of its players back across before time expires.

Meanwhile, on GH, Drew and Nina (Cynthia Watros) recently had hate-sex. Do you think its a one-time deal? Where will Drew’s story take him next under new head writers, Patrick Mulcahey and Elizabeth Korte? Stay tuned.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Nina Confronts Ava for Sabotaging Her Relationship With Sonny and Signs the Divorce Papers

Looks like Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Ava (Maura West) are back to be each other’s sworn enemy number one. By the end of the Monday, April 22nd episode of General Hospital, the women know where they stand with each other after Nina goes in on Ava accusing her of wanting Sonny (Maurice Benard) all to herself, while her marriage has been on the rocks.

In story, at Nina’s office, Ava shows up to see Nina and says she is sorry about what happened with Sonny and that he reacted the way he did, acknowledging that is was over the top, even for Sonny. Ava says she’ll smooth things over, but Nina says she now understands how manipulative and transparent Ava really is.

Given their horrible history, Nina goes in on Ava and how she should never have trusted her. Nina wants to know how long has Ava had this agenda dating all the way back to telling Nina to turn Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC. Ava says she never told her do to that, but Nina wants to know how long Ava has been playing her for a fool.

Ava says she moved in with Sonny to keep Avery safe and she wants to be on good terms with Avery’s father, Sonny. Nina thinks she likes being in Sonny’s inner circle. Ava tells Nina if she goes to him about her advising Nina to call the SEC on Carly and Drew, it won’t work.  Sonny still considers Nina a traitor and he will think she’s lying because she’s so desperate to win him back. Ava says if Nina would stop blaming everyone else that maybe Sonny would respect her.  Nina says “like he does you?” Ava says Sonny not only respects her, but he also counts on her.

From there, Ava launches into why she and Sonny understand each other, after all, Sonny is a powerful, turbulent, and sometimes violent man. She goes so far to say if Nina wanted someone to just sit by the fire with and play with their grandchildren, she’s got the wrong guy.  Ava then talks about Mike from Nixon Falls (Sonny with amnesia) and how Sonny hid the darkest parts of himself from Nina back then, whereas with Ava they are the same similar creatures, so he doesn’t have to hide anything.

Courtesy/ABC

Nina wants to know just what Ava wants with Sonny? What is her end game? Ava responds that they understand each other, in ways she can’t with Sonny. Nina tells Ava she can go ahead and have it all and signs Sonny’s divorce papers. Ava walks out with the documents, while Nina in tears at her desk, takes off her wedding rings and has her assistant come in so she can messenger the rings back to Sonny’s address.

The episode and these scenes featured great performances by Cynthia Watros and Maura West. You can check some of the scenes below.

Now, let us know, what is Ava’s next move? Is she going to become Mrs. Sonny Corinthos? Do you like Ava and Nina as enemies? Comment below.
