GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: “Any Chance You Could Be Pregnant?”

By Michael Fairman

In the newly-released ABC promo for General Hospital, the action for the week of episodes airing from November 11-15th teases not only Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) political fate, but the question on many fans minds, just who are the writers going to make pregnant, after various recent trysts.

Drew’s political aspirations may be short-lived if he were to win his congress seat. From the looks of it, Michael (Chad Duell) has just told Drew’s brother, Jason (Steve Burton) that Drew has been having sex with his wife, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and a fight breaks out.

Meanwhile, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) seems to be towing the same line and telling Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), “I’m sorry I can’t stay in Port Charles.”  Isn’t he going to hang around for when his sister, Lulu wakes up, or is he somehow being blackmailed by Sidwell (Carlo Rota), who is not really dead after the bomb explosion, to get out of dodge or else?

Then, four women are shown who could be pregnant. But who, or should we say which two? Previously, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) could not have children of her own, Willow slept with both Michael and Drew in short order, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) had been involved with Cody (Josh Kelly), although it seems they never hit the sheets, but then learned she is his cousin and got so drunk, she slept with former flame, Michael! Follow that? And meanwhile, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) have been talking about having a baby, which has become more front and center in their lives with the departure of Violet.

In addition, here are the official GH spoilers for the week below.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11

Things certainly seem to be getting messy on GH. Can the Davis girls put aside their insipid feud to support their mother and each other after Sam’s loss? What about Danny and Scout? Where is it best for them to live; Alexis’ or their respective dads’? And as for the pregnancy story…think of all the possibilities…It seems too soon for Chase and Brook Lyn to be pregnant. If Williow is pregnant, who’s the father? Or will she be carrying twins fathered by both Drew and Michael? And what if Sasha if pregnant? She and Michael will have some explaining to do. And what will stop Lucky from leaving town? It certainly won’t be his son or his mother. Maybe Lulu wakes up and asks him to stay? What a delicious mess!

It’s should show compassion to the viewers. Molly and JT need to come out of the cold. They have been apart from to long. Don’t let Sam’s death be in vain. Help them find their way back and by a grace of God, Sam’s death triggered something in Molly. Her hormones become active and she finds out that she can conceive. Chase and his woman wants what everyone wants, A Family. They are not going to live in the big house. Let them start with what we need to see.It has had to many deaths . It’s Xmas, can we start the new year of right. Sasha and Willow need to step back with the writers and work on their families. Sasha just meet Robert. Now Robin needs to meet her Sister. Peter was a nut and got his just dues. Never should have hurt Maxie!!!!

I think it’s all three of them. Willow, Sasha and Molly. LOL that would be a blast wouldn’t it?

And that only means a baby switch is in the works for this messy drama.

No it would not. If Willow gets pregnant again, we would have to call her Madame Ovary. And Drew is a creepy, bug- stalker.

So glad when Jason smashed his smug, cheating face in and then that little cheating twit ,Willow falling all over Drew, playing nurse , right in Michael’s face, made me sick, also Nina acting like he’d gotten hit by a truck, like mother, like daughter, soon they will be fighting over him!

who is pregnant ? Willow and Sasha is my guess. Two for one LOL

I think it’s both Sasha and willow

I think it’s Sasha that’s pregnant with Michael’s child although Willow might be pregnant with Drew’s child wouldn’t that be something.

I repeat—they are both pregnant—I think my post disappeared—two babies—one father? Or two? I knew this from the get-go. What’s the point? Are they both pregnant in real life?

That is the first thing I said—as soon as all the sleeping around was going on. They could both be pregnant—-I repeat: who’s the daddy of either baby?? Someone is pregnant in real life.

I think the one that’s pregnant will be Willow she won’t know the father untill it can be tested i hate Willow did this to Michal or Shasha either way Michal will end up in the middle

Please let some good come out for Molly and TJ . It’s like the mix couple have the bad luck. But everyone else is good. No baby for Willow. Sasha Yes! Molly too. A great Xmas present.

Everyone else is good? Would you call Michael and Willow’s relationship good? Sonny and Carly’s? Sonny and Nina’s? Alexis and every guy she ever dated? Jason and Sam who broke up? Finn and Liz who broke up? Almost every relationship on GH, just like other soaps, have problems and either make it or don’t.

Give it a rest, Karen.

Two out of those four women are pregnancy-challenged. Although out of all four – I would love to see Molly have the miracle pregnancy. If for anything else – just to shut her up. With all these potential babies – I am wondering why we aren’t getting the romantic sex we were all waiting patiently for – just bang bang into the room sex.

So four potential babies mean – a miscarriage for at least one – perhaps another dead baby and the last two – a baby switch. Betting Holly will come back just to switch those babies out if Sasha has problems.

Willow – has had massive doses of chemo – if she gets pregnant – hers is the one that won’t make it.

Drew is gross. He has absolutely no remorse and could care less what he is doing to Michael. He is lusting over Willow and doesn’t care who he destroys. Willow should have known better but she will go down with Drew. I don’t feel sorry for her, she wants to save her marriage but still has eyes on Drew, what a crock! She needs to be out on her own without all the quartermaine benefits.

I don’t care for pregnancy/stolen baby/illegal adoption storylines. GH has so many times rewritten history with parentage and lost adult children, this baby mystery holds no appeal or suspense for me.

Bring Sam back shes been there along time o the show she can be pregnet with Danta baby that will be a real kicker

I wish Molly would get pregnant! She need something good happen to her!!! Brooklyn would be also. But the others just becomes the same old story. Sasha does need some longer lasting happiness! Let’s see so happiness on the show.with Sam dying, Willow and Drew’s affair, Molly, T.J., and Kristina losing the bady, and Sasha be cousin’s with her love. Gh needs so good going on!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, Molly will get pregnant alright but I wouldn’t bet on TJ being the father, I’m betting on Dex, the way they gave been sniffing around each other.

After seeing Molly today at Bobby’s with the new Dr., I’m thinking he will be the new man involved, not Dex. The way she’s shut out her husband, she’s acts like it’s hus fault, somehow that the baby died. I can’t stand the little witch!

So WHY does Drew keep LURKING around Willow???!!! Just making excuses to see& be around her. Even being SNEAKY & waiting for Michael to leave. He Deserves that Ass Beating that Jason is going to give him!!! I can’t Stand Drew or Willow!!!!

When both Willow & Sasha are pregnant. Then one of the babies will die. Soaps never have 2 different Babies on at the same time. Because of Child Labor Law. Just wait & see. I hope it will be Willow ‘ s not Sasha. How much Grief can shetake. Drew & Willow can be together ( NOT!!!) And Sasha & Michael can be together ❤️

Seriously A storyline about ivf and infertility would be fascinating Brooklyn and Chase are adult ready to have a child but can’t would be a great deep storyline

They already did that with Molly and T J why make Brooklyn and Chase go thru that.

They just did that story line with TJ and Molly why do a back to back story with Brooklyn and Chase? Can’t we make something happy and easy?

Boring idea! Sorry.

I think all 3 are maybe 4 if you include Nina!

In her case if would be called a Change of Life baby, she’s got to be at least starting Menopause.

Plus, I think she had a hysterectomy after she gave birth to the twins.

What a load of garbage all this sleeping around and pregnancy crap!! These writers are turning GH into a Kardashian show!! Stupid and Ridiculous. I know I made the right decision quitting watching this travesty after they dumped Kelly. They should have done that to Cameron instead. He’s a new comer compared to her and probably makes More than she did!!

It’s a soap opera.

I think Nina will be the impregnated one.

Please do not let Sasha be pregnant and please let Molly an TJ be pregnant they need a little happiness and please take Holly off she just a liar and she is in the way of Robert and Diana Sasha need to fine peace with herself and Cody please do not let her be pregnant

Of course they are pregnant. Willow , courtesy of Drew who I think is really out to get Michael. First he nails his mother , than his mother- law and wife. My God, who’s next, one of his sisters?

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

Published

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).

Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.

Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON

Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”

Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).

Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.

“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?

During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.

Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.

You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.

Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Reconnects with Danny; Tristan Roberts Arrives in Port Charles, Lots of Nods to #16

Published

on

By

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.

Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.

As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY

Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.

Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.

Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS

Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.

In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Courtesy/ABC

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”

So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.
