General Hospital Promo: Obrecht Decides It’s Time To End Peter’s Life, But Her Plans Go Up in Flames!
This week on General Hospital, looks like Peter (Wes Ramsey) may finally be freed from being kidnapped by Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Nina (Michelle Stafford), or will he?
In the just released promo from ABC, Obrecht needs to be stopped, depending on who you are rooting for, that is. We see her smash Franco (Roger Howarth) in the head from behind on the docks to keep him from uncovering what she has been up to. Then, it looks as if Obrecht is holding what looks to be a molotov cocktail! “You have come to the end of the road,” she wildly tells Peter.
Nina attempts to stop her, but it’s too late, Next thing you know the cabin is engulfed in flames? Who will get out of there alive?
Watch the promo below and then let us know, what you hope happens via the comment section below.
Haha. I wonder if they’re truly going to kill of Peter; I don’t think they will. He’ll somehow escape and show up a few weeks later. But, I look forward to this kidnapping storyline ending.
DR.L will disappear and presumed dead…Peter will survive and blackmail Nina and Valetin…im bored just writing this!!!
I agree with Dr. O disappearing, Jimmy….but, if Peter will be ‘staying’ on, I’d like to think he and Nina will try to live in harmony.
As for as Peter snitching on Nina? Hmmmm, maybe…..I think he will rethink telling the cops she was a co-conspirator. She was about to free him, alterall. ❤️
I don’t see Obrecht being a casualty because Kathleen Gati is just too good to let go. Michelle Stafford is very good too but if anyone has to die in the fire, I am going to say Nina. Of course, I’d like to see them all make it out alive but I’ll have to tune in to see what happens.
Oh, no, James….not my Nina!! Take that back….Double LOL…..Just kidding!!
I want neither of the women to die. And, we all know Peter is cemented in PC soil, right? I still don’t like him….even after his ordeal.
They may all live and Peter will vouch for both if the women??
What do I hope happens in the cabin? I hope the writers’ script outlines for the next 6 months go up in flames. I love GH and I watch both out of loyalty and habit. I root for the show and its longevity. I think GH has the best cast in daytime. Having said that I think it’s my right as a long time viewer to call BS on the material that the writers are putting on the screen. God bless these actors for doing their best to sell this stuff. The show needs new head writers and it needs them NOW! Long live GH!!
❤️
Do it Liesl, do it!
Don’t suppose there’s a snowball’s chance in my back yard that we could take out both Frodd and Whiny Heiny in the fire? Dr. Ooblech would be a bonus, but she’s not nearly annoying as the two useless airhogs.
who are u talking about FRODD, WHINY HEINY?
Oh, my, oh, my…..LOL…
Those are Satan’s ‘endearments’ for Franco and Heinrik ( sp)—Peter. Too funny, eh?!
I am afraid Valentin will die trying to save Nina and we get to watch her engage in hoarse histrionics all over again. I hate this story–Dr O has been holding Peter hostage for 45 days straight. It’s boring, tedious and redundant. I have been fast forwarding through all these scenes. Terrible writing–it’s choppy and badly paced.
I haven’t seen a bedpan in those 45 days, Harry.
I agree, Jimh. They’ll keep this awful Peter Pooper around ad nauseam. I wouldn’t mind that creepy Windemere burning down however. How about Peter’s beard? You can almost see the vermin in that eyesore.
please let peter die during this. awful character, terrible rewrite of history, and more drama with Obrecht and Anna, then P and A with O killing hour’s’.
Is Peter going to get a facelift at the same clinic as Ava since the storylines are so original these days?
So he was kept captive for how long never went to the bathroom never showered ! Yep that’s our soaps today ! Years ago Brad Carlton on Y & r his wife built a cage with a shower potty etc at least that was realistic ! Lordy face masks kidnappings by strapping them to the bed it goes on and on and we are to blame by watching this you need to boycott something demand they start trying to make the four remaining soaps somehow sensible ! UGH
Yeah, Kate….answering Harry, Peter hasn’t used the potty in 45 days. He is magical, with a strong constitution and bodily functions. He must stink to high heaven!! How can Nina stand it? Or Liesl? LOL.
Missing today’s episode—-there are more program interruptions in Massachusetts than anywhere else in the country.
If the mayor of Boston happens to sneeze? There will be an interruption.
LOL! We have to assume he was cut loose to go to the bathroom, maybe tied by one leg with a chain long enough to get him there. Lots of things go on off camera; let’s just assume this was one of them.
Sorry, K/kay….in my head I wrote Kay, not Kate…..❤️
OK…you know what: That ANNOYING NITWIT Nina and that DUM DUM DUM Parking Lot Pete should both be shown THE DOOR!!!!! But…Dr. O can TOTALLY stay!!!!! And besides…Kathleen Gati TRULY ROCKS!!!!!
Later.
Touche’, Jaybird! Here’s hoping Dr. O. turns Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater into puree and that both Nina and he are burned to a crisp! I’ve had quite enough of both of these utterly useless characters! Time for them to go…but yes, absolutely, Obrecht stays….always and forever…as you said, KG—and her Liesl—-truly do rock!
This fire would have been a good way to shrink the cast (mainly the parking lot hire). Love Kathleen Gati. She is amazing, and is comedic gold!
Yes, dmr….another missed opportunity to “cull the herd!” GH always blows it when it comes to the perfect chance to kill off an unnecessary character…or two…or three, etc…what a waste! Frank’s pets never fail to survive…be it Peter, Nina or whoever happens to be his favorite player of the month….Yawn!
I hope Obrect dies and Nina pulls Peter out with Valentin’s help.
I like Peter. I can’t stand the Obrect character. I want Peter and Anna to reunite. It would be a great storyline and a child who finally gets vendicated for all the bad stiff he endured. I’m getting tired of the Franco and Elizabeth crap, I fast forward most of the time. I want more Carly, Sunny, Jason and Sam. Also give us more Robin and Anna and Emma!!!!!!!
Kathleen Gati is great, so is Michelle Stafford. Wes Ramsey I could do without.
You said it, mike….
@Mike….Totally agree about Kathleen Gati! But you lost me at Stafford! Nina’s gotta go…..the sooner, the better!
I think that Dr.O will disappear, Valentin Will most likely save Nina, to forever live with her guilt, and ACH! Peter will be a crispy critter. Call Col. Sanders! Seriously,I like Peter, and don’t believe he deserved the treatment he’s received from these two crazy and vindictive women.Better, they should be on the KFC menu.
Something very strange is going on, guys….
Is this happening only to moi, or everyone else?
Some of the comments are cross-wired….that is, some of Y&R’s comments appear on this site and vice versa, and then some.
Spooky–gosh; what if personal stuff gets accidentally crossed? Hmmm–not cool.
Thank you, Michael.
When I read ” cannot find the server”, I assumed it was because I am on the Vineyard….strange things happen with the internet here, all the time.
Thanks again for clearing that up.❤️
I like Peter !
Be nice to him lol
Peter is a good character and I hope he stays on for the long run..
It seems the comments from Y&R got merged with GH! I’ve been reading comments going, “Huh?” LOL: I’m going to assume they’ll be placed on the right page by the time my comment posts.
I guess I’m in the minority but I love this story! I’ve always liked Peter! Contrary to the criticism he’s been getting, I enjoy Wes’s acting, as well. I think he was a bit over the top during the initial panic/kidnapping scenes but since he’s mellowed out his performance he’s been great and quite the sympathetic character. I don’t know how anyone cannot empathize with a man who was given to Faison as a baby and treated like garbage his whole life. And, finally, to escape his father’s reach (thru Faison’s death) and be victimized again. I find it truly sad.
Loved today’s episode (Thursday) when Dr. O throws the “cocktail.” Thought all three actors brought their A game. Loved Nina and her compassion; she’s come a long way from her raving loon days. She’s empathetic and can see beyond her grief. Dr. O. was amazing in her crazed emotional pain and Peter was quietly desperate, forlorn and full of fear.
Thought it was an amazing episode. I’m hoping they all make it. Three great characters I look forward to watching.
Hi Michael:
Interesting glitch. I really thought I’d stumbled on to the wrong page/soap, LOL! Then I realized it was some sort of merge.
I, personally, don’t think it’s a big deal. You can turn it into a game! “Pick out the comments that don’t belong here!” 😉 First two gets a prize!
By the way, after the initial adjustment phase of having to say good-bye to our “old home at MF Soaps” I am now happily settled in. I can really appreciate the upgrade/modernization and expansion now that many of the glitches have been worked out and we’re getting notices regarding replies again. Great job!
