At the end of Monday’s episode, fans of ABC’s General Hospital finally saw Dr. Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) reunited with her daughter, Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) while Robin’s husband, Patrick (Jason Thompson) is marrying another woman, Sabrina (Teresa Castillo)!
However, in the coming days, there is plenty of drama ahead inside the church as previewed in this week’s ABC promo of General Hospital! From the looks of it, Patrick is emotionally overcome at seeing Robin again, and Sabrina is heartbroken. But Sabrina gives Patrick the ultimate ultimatum and the bottom line truth when she states: “You can’t have us both! You have to choose!”
Thus the stage is set for Patrick to make a decision! Do you think he will go immediately back to Robin? Or, do you think he will be torn between the two women? Or, do you think he would choose Sabrina? Weigh-in below after checking out this week’s emotional preview!

Yep, those pauses speak volumes. Robin and he have a child together, she’s the woman that taught him how to love, she’s the love of his life. Of course Patrick has had a bond with Sabrina, but it’s a new ballgame now…one that he won’t walk away from.

Exactly!…and one thing that REALLY would have brought his extreme ambivalence home would have been if Patrick had flashbacks to his wedding ceremony to Robin (juxtaposed with the present travesty….) That would have told the entire story….particularly where he vowed “‘Til death do us part…..” Now that he knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that his wife is actually alive, it’s time to keep up that part of the bargain. No matter what has transpired during those months that he mistakenly thought Robin was well and truly gone, the fact is his real family is alive and well, and there should be absolutely no question that they will resume their lives together. Even Sappy knows that……she told him to go home to his wife….advice that Patrick should have taken, instead of trying to act like Mr. Nice Guy. He never had the depth of feelings for the nurse that he had for Robin, and his heartfelt reaction to his wife’s reappearance made that painfully apparent for all to see. To suddenly have him be torn between the love of his life and second best simply doesn’t ring true…..

I think that too, they have a child together but in one of the episodes he said that he couldn’t choose Robin over Sabrina yet but after he showed up and saw her kissing the other guy then Sabrina was taking his back and then she just left and then Robin showed up at her apartment and wants to know how to get Patrick back, so i think that she wants him back more than Sabrina wants him; after what he did to her at THEIR wedding, i don’t think that Sabrina wants him like he wants her and then Robin is clueless because they said their vowels to each other and after doing that she doesnt think that she thinks that he’s going to go back to her after they were a split-second away from being married!

I’m sick of women fighting, waiting, angling for me — whatever the story. I love Robin & Patrick together and know they are true soul mates. But I’d love to see Robin actually move on. Every time Robin is given a serious love interest, it turns into fantastic story, e.g. Stone, Jason & Patrick. Man #4 could be no different, so I’m rooting for Robin & Mystery Man #4!
Also, I do think Jason Thompson is a good actor, but it’s clear to me he shines most with Kim McCullough. His character has been a snoozer this past couple of years. For his sake, I hope he has a lot of scenes with his best co-star.

Tough choice, but maybe he feels Robin abandoned their marriage when she chose to help Jason, & then didn’t contact him somehow to say she’s alive. Now that he knows she’s alive, he can move on, but he will be torn. Down the road, he will break Sabrina’s heart, & say he can’t do this, but Robin will have moved on by then.
YES!!!!!!! He was not that far from starting a new life, but now he knows that Robins alive, so he can move on about her death. He has broke Sabrina’s heart by kissing Robin at Sabrina and Patrick’s wedding. So I don’t think that Sabrina is going to want him back after he pulled that move and kissed Robin at their wedding, If i was Sabrina i wouldn’t trust Patrick, and Patrick will then probably go back to Robin i mean they have a kid!

I have always liked Robin and if she was staying, I would choose Robin. Unfortunately, Kimberly has moved on, so for Patrick to choose Robin that would mean that they would move away from Port Charles. I’m not ready to lose Patrick and Emma, so I choose Sabrina, since he loves both of them! Kimberly has given GH most of her life and is ready to spread her wings and fly! Good luck Kimberly!
It all depends on how long KM is back this time. If she is staying, there is no way in the world that he would pick Sabrina over Robin. Patrick will be mad at Robin at first for not running to him when she first was “free”, but as time progresses there is no way under the sun that he would not be with Robin; as Patrick, Robin, and EMMA are a family. Will be surprised if he is not upset with her at first, as it makes for great story. JMO
Whatever the writers want is what will happen. General public and fans who watch the show, have their favorites, isn’t always what they want that happens. I think Patrick hesitated at the alter at least twice. He and Robin have a child together, so they have that common bond. Whatever happens will be pretty intense. Robin should win out over Sabrina..we will see.
He should dump both…go for Elizabeth! But i think he wont decide at the moment…he’ll need time to sort out his thoughts and feelings but will most likely go back to Robin…however, they will have their ups and downs…Sabrina will turn to Carlos(b4 the makeover…Sabrina in her geeky teenish look…i cant picture these two together…but now i can) Meanwhile, was Anna really Anna…did Dr.O switche places, fool Robert, rescued Faison and now both Anna and Faison disguised as Anna and Robert….? So does Felix and Brad…im tired of him(Felix) always sniffing up Sabrinas a..! Does Felix have a.d.d.? Lucas needs to come between Felix and Brad! I like to see the Jeromes try to take over ELQ…Tracy needs more to do than just be with Indiana Luke…maybe a twist could be A.J. and Tracy team up to fight the Jeromes takeover…maybe Sean Donnelly could return and be a new love interest for Monica? Suan should turn out to be T.J.s real father…maybe Julian puts a hit on Shuan but T.J. gets shot instead, needs a transfusion and Suan is a match. Shuan leaves Sonnys mob and tries to get back with Alexis who now is in love with Julian?
What got tiresome during this Robin story was the constant repeated comments: team scrubs all the way, Robin loves Patrick and Emma…Emma needs her mommy! I really get how fans feel but im always wonder what if Robin had stayed dead! What really bugs me about this story is Robins ‘death’. How did Jerry Jax just happened to be at the hospital at that exact moment? How did he just convienantly know Maxi would cause the explosion(unless she really didnt and he did), how would he know Robin would survive and he’d have a burned body to replace her with…and how did he manage to flee with Robin from the lab that was engulfed with flames? was there another door or secret passage only Jerry knew of? Why is no one curious to know the identity of the burned body…will Anna investigate…will someone show up looking for their missing relative? Could the body be Laura Templeton somehow and once again Jackie(if they can get Demi back 4 a cameo like Ron and Frank said they like…) arrives in town looking for her…or was her sister ever killed off years ago? And by the way where is Holly who is always by Roberts side…? maybe he leaves town looking for her?
Excellent questions, jimh, and we can only hope that at least some of the blanks are going to be filled in in due time. However, your question about the “what ifs” regarding Robin’s death really doesn’t matter, because in the end, what was at issue, was that “Sappy” never was or could have been a worthy successor to Dr. Drake’s first wife, whether she returned or not. At least for me, this Santiago person was simply an unacceptable substitute from the very start….and this had nothing to do with an affection for the character of Robin, but the massive shortcomings of the role, casting and extremely flawed nature of the “Sabrina” storyline. There were other far better alternative replacement relationships for Patrick that would have seemed more natural and logical, and even if they had not been met with universal approval, they would have at least been palatable, unlike this foolish fairytale fluff sprinkled with sparkledust!!!

I hope he stay with Sabrina too! Even though everyone else wants home with Robin, I feel so bad for Sabrina now that robins back even though I’m also happy Emma has her mom back. Sabrina has helped them through so much and has been there for them and helped them move on. This was supposed to be the happiest day of Sabrina’s life and turned out to be the worst. And also it would make everything more interesting if she did end up pregnant!

real. Think of it what would you do that makes since. I Robin was not going to stay then I think they should have left her dead. If Patrick do not choose Robin then that’s good because I think she is a better women then Sabrina and she can survivor, she is a survivor. After all Patrick did cheat on her. I think she will do better without him. I want them to be together but if it do not happen no great lose. Robin has her mother and Duke by her side. Especially if she become the Chief of the hospital like she was when she died. Monica was fired and I believed no one took her place.

Please no more further abuse of this legacy character….either let him resume with Liz or find him another woman, but good Lord, no Sappy! She either needs to be with Carlos or sent back from whence she came…actually both would be the preferable outcome! P.S. “Carlos is a one-note character no one cares about”….the exact same thing can be said for his object of obsession…see, they really are perfect for one another!!!!
Let me make myself clear: from what has happened at the trial it looks as if the writers are trying to part “Quiz”, so that’s why I suggested Sabrina as a new love interest for A.J. ONLY IF he and Elizabeth can’t get back together. Got that? I still think Carlos is a joke- a bad Latino stereotype.

I am on TeamRobin! However, I think we know Kimberly McCullough isn’t back permanently which makes me think Patrick will choose Sabrina. While he still loves Robin, he has moved on. I sure hope I am wrong!

Monday’s episode was a nail-biter. I really thought Robin was going to walk out of that church without saying anything; sacrificing her own happiness for her family. But then I wondered if a mother could really not tell her child she was alive and, BOOM!, Emma saw her. I thought she’d spend weeks listening to friends tell her she has to tell Patrick the truth. Glad it didn’t happen that way.
IF KM’s contract is for longer than a year, I think Patrick will choose Robin. But if it’s short-term, I think he’ll go for Sabrina.
IDK, the great team at GH is constantly surprising me, so I’ll be watching on the edge of my seat, as always.

“You can’t have us both you have to choose”– way to go Sabrina for stating the obvious, unless they moved to some country that allows him to have more than one wife. Okay that line is pure soap melodrama, but honestly he just married one woman and then found out his “dead” wife is alive— the guy is in shock, give him a minute to recover, yeesh. Personally I am starting to like him with Elizabeth; would like to see him with her in the long run, but short term he will most likely choose Robin for Emma’s sake.
Actually they didnt get marrid because they werent pronounced man and wife and sign the marriage certificate, Emma interrupted all that.
You are talking semantics here— yes they were not “legally” married but in his heart he had just exchanged vows with one woman when his “dead” wife shows up. In his mind and in his heart he was marrying her. So I still maintain legal or not, the man needs a minute to catch his breath before making a decision of which one he wants to be with, which was my point. But if you want to question my wording, then yes you are right they weren’t officially married.

This is a very tough call to make. On one hand, Patrick and Robin have a bond that can never be broken by anyone. On the other hand, I think Patrick really does love Sabrina but is it strong enough to survive this? I don’t know. One things for sure, they all love Emma and that will never change.

I think if Patrick has any brain at all he will choose Robin, after all she is the love of his life.
I think, that given the fact he was, rightup to the point of mere minutes before his wedding, he was STILL trying to believe that Robin was still alive, proves that while he loves Sabrina, it isn’t the depth of love the he has and always has had for Robin.
I was very upset with Monday’s show. I was furious that she was going to walk away from the wedding and did, but then at the end.. it all paid off. Great writing!! What an emotional episode.. A true soap….. The ending with Emma and her Mama….
There will be a lot of twist and turns but the only one he can ultimate pick will be Robin.. Now there will be another twist for Robin eventually.. who knows… maybe the character of Patrick has decided to leave the show when his contract is up and we do not know about it and they both leave with Emma happily ever after… Then six months later.. we get a grown Emma back to the show with lots of issues and we get to see her story unfold..
It has been great TV and very exciting to watch.. I moved over from Days a few years ago and have watched a few episodes of Days lately and it moves way too slow… Way toooooo slooowww…

Watching GH all these years I’ve really admired the Robin and Patrick storyline. There’s no doubt they belong together. Yes Patrick loves Sabrina, but he is In Love with Robin and no matter what there love is going to make it over any and every obstacle. Patrick always had that hope that she was still alive it was the people around him that always convinced him otherwise. Even on his own wedding day he showed up to the lab hoping that what Ava was saying was true. He loves Robin and they will find there happiness with each other like always.

53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Nominations Announced: ‘The Young and the Restless’ Tops With 18, ‘Beyond the Gates’ With 16
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the full list of nominees for the upcoming 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, and it was CBS daytime’s The Young and the Restless and broadcast television newest soap opera, Beyond the Gates that racked up the most nominations with 18 and 16, respectively.
The full reveal on Tuesday follows the announcement of several major categories including Lead Actor and Actress on Monday via Extra and Entertainment Tonight and The View today revealing Daytime Drama Series and more.
The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmys ceremony is set to take place on Friday, October 30 at the historic Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California.

In a statement, Adam Sharp, President and CEO of NATAS expressed, “We’re proud to honor the extraordinary talent and creative teams whose work continues to define and elevate daytime television, As the Daytime landscape evolves and new forms of storytelling emerge, we remain committed to recognizing the innovation happening across the industry.”
“Each year, the Daytime Emmy Awards celebrate the creativity, passion, and dedication that drive this vibrant community of storytellers,” said Rachel Schwartz, Head of the Daytime Emmy Awards. “Congratulations to this year’s nominees, whose work continues to entertain, inspire and connect with audiences every day. We look forward to celebrating their remarkable achievements in Hollywood this October.”
The Daytime Emmy Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts since 1974, honoring work in a variety of genres, including daytime dramas, talk series, entertainment news, culinary, adventure, instructional and legal/courtroom programming.
This year’s Lifetime Achievement Honoree, Gold & Silver Circle Inductees, and ceremony host will be announced at a later date.

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’
The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
