GENERAL HOSPITAL: Josslyn Joins the WSB; Drew Continues Being a Scuzzball After Throwing Jason Under the Bus
On the Wednesday, February 26th episode of General Hospital, meet your new WSB agent, none other than … Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). In a meeting at Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) office at WSB’s Port Charles Bureau, Jack continues to tell her that she has all the talent necessary to be a spy.
However, Joss tells Jack, she is not a spy, but a college student. He reels her in by telling her that working with the WSB she can make a difference in the world. In fact, what she did by killing Cyrus Renault had to be done, and that she likely saved countless lives by taking the guy out.
But here’s the catch: Josslyn will have to work in the shadows and she can tell no one about this, not even her mother Carly (who Jack is all romantically into). Josslyn asks why would she want to work with the WSB? Jack says covert works helps change the world. He is offering her a career where she can use her athletic skills and her mind to make a difference. When Jack asks if she’s studying anything at school that compares to what he is offering? She admits there isn’t.

Next, Jack asks how she felt stopping Dex Heller’s killer? Josslyn admits it felt good to do something to stop the killings and to avenge Dex’s death. Jack says that sometimes you have to go outside the system for the greater good. Josslyn firmly states that if she joins the WSB she will not kill people. Jack says he has other people that can do that. He needs her to remain a college student as she can get into places he can’t.
Josslyn feels she has no choice. Jack covered up her crime of killing Cyrus, so he can hold that over her head. Jack admits a coerced agent does him no good. He is offering her to challenge herself like never before. However, if she doesn’t want it, that’s fine. Then Jack lures her in by saying, then she should go back to getting her college degree in environmental science. It’s at that point Joss decided she’s in. She will be a WSB agent, not just for all the reasons he said, but also for Dex. Then in a twist, Jack tells her that she is leaving tonight. Where is Jack going to send Josslyn for her first mission?

At the PCPD, Jason (Steve Burton), ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor), Carly (Laura Wright), Anna (Finola Hughes), and Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) have a standoff. ADA Turner asks Drew if Jason was at his house last night during the time Cyrus is believed to have been murdered. And in a real low blow, Drew looks Jason and the ADA dead in the eye and says that it’s come down to Jason using his position as a congressman to cover up his crime. Next, Drew tells the ADA he was home all alone and Jason is lying.
Drew says he will sign an official statement; sharing that while he gets Jason’s hatred of Cyrus, he can’t lie for him. Willow just stands there and Carly goes ballistic as Jason is taken away in handcuffs for booking. Carly looks at Willow and asks, “Are you okay with all of this? What the hell has happened to you!” We’d lik

Anna is in for shock when ADA Turner takes her off of Jason’s case, but Anna talks with Jason that she will find out what happened to Cyrus’ body and who killed him. Diane gets Jason released for now, and Carly tells the ADA that Drew is lying, and he’s just like all the other congressmen in DC. ADA Turner says Jason had motive to kill Cyrus, Sam’s death. Willow hits a new low in the gullible factor, when she comes back to Drew’s house from the police station, and announces that she and the kids will move in with him, much to his delight.

Elsewhere, Chase (Josh Swickard) thinks his brother, Finn, should be the sperm donor for a baby and he floats the idea by Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). She is kind of freaked out by it. In the end, they don’t know what to do next, as things are about to go off the rails when Brook Lynn eventually learns that Gio (Giovanni Mazza) is her son with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), and her mother, Lois (Rena Sofer) knew it all this time!
What do you think of Josslyn taking the job as a spy with the WSB? Will she help Jason get out of a murder charge, or can she now? What did you think of how low Drew has stooped in his life? Comment below. But first, watch the scenes between Eden McCoy and Chris McKenna which marks a huge turning point in Josslyn’s life.
Josslyn being a W.S.B. agent is laughable. Absolutely laughable.
Totally agree. They must be out of storyline. Bad mistake!
Agree 100%
Everybody in the police station should have known immediately that Drew was full of dragonshit when he denied being Jason’s alibi.
Whatever you might think of Jason Morgan – his chosen occupation, his priorities, or all the things he’s alleged to have done over the years, there’s one thing everybody should know about the guy by now.
Jason Morgan does not lie. If a Devil remembers correctly, he’s literally incapable of doing so, thanks to one of his 666 prior brain injuries.
Jason either answers a question truthfully, or he says “talk to my lawyer”. But he doesn’t lie. And since it’s not exactly a secret that he and his brother don’t get along very well, why in Hell’s name would Jason say he was at Drew’s house if he wasn’t.
Obviously the fake DNA “evidence” was planted. But as I said elsewhere, they should take advantage of that fact, and use it to implicate Drew in the murder, since it could have just as easily been him, since he has the same DNA as his twin brother.
Of course then Drew would beg Jason to be HIS alibi. And Jason, of course, wouldn’t be able to lie about it. Which is too bad, because sending Drew “up the river” on a murder charge would solve a lot of problems right now.
Jason does lie when it’s convenient. Claiming to be that father of Carly, Sam, and Sasha’s babies are just 3 (similar) examples.
Did he actually lie about those situations or did he just not say anything at all and let the other mortals jump to their own conclusions?
In the present storyline with Sasha’s baby, for example. Jason has never said he was the father of Sasha’s baby. He just allowed others to assume so, because it served Michael’s best interests. Similar circumstances to when Sonny asked him to take care of the pregnant Sam or when Carly left baby Michael with him while she dropped off the planet for several months with a case of “post partum depression”. In that case, he was honest with Robin about who Mikey’s father actually was, and that eventually came back to bite him in the ass when Robin got angry with him and used that information against him.
Also didn’t lie to Dany had s Son!
No he didn’t lie ,& no one asked him!
Shasa was the one said it to protect Michael!
Drew could be real killer?
Jasslen maybe was tricked & fooled ,& writer want to cut her now we will not see her!
Willow she accepted to work as sex worker so not to be cut !
Thank you Soo for much all the you said they’re all true Drew and Willow can they bring nothing just all nothing gh is so bad right now to many people that bring nothing to the show
So first Drew, separates the siblings, then he further disrupts Scout’s life by having Willow move in with him. Now he is declaring a false statement to the PCPD against his brother. Eventually he will wind up dead or become a suspect in Cyrus’s murder. As for the Joss storyline..don’t get me started!
Drew and Jason are not identical twins so they have different DNA
They are identical twins. Remember that Victor Cassadine conned Robin Scorpio into thawing out popsicle Drew because he looked exactly like Jason. The only reason he looks different now is because Ava Jerome ran over his face in a stolen SUV.
Definitely identical twins. Ava hit Drew with her car and he had reconstructive surgery. Flashbacks of his navy seal days showed Steve Burton as Drew.
Jason and Drew are identical twins and DNA would be the same. Remember when Kim Nero, (Tamara Braun) saw Jason at Sonny’s house and thought he was Drew.
I cannot wait until Carly finds out what Jack Brennan has done to and with Joselyn. CARLY IS GOING TO EXPLODE.
Joss being a agent is stupid story
Joss should have gone to police
Absolutely!
Terrible Joss storyline. Fix it please.
These story lines are so dumb….. I can barely watch GH anymore. The show is totally be ruined!
I agree 100%. The show is a joke and I haven’t watched in months. Used to be my absolute favorite daytime show that I had watched for 40 years. Frank V. has ruined the show for me. I never imagined giving up on it. But here we are.
How far are the writer s gonna allow this drew and willow they’re not the hottest couple he looks old she looks like she’s lost and don’t know which way to turn, except the way drew tells her to on a scale of 1 to 10 there weired relationship is below 1 which o % so you should have kept cody and sasha now they were your hottest couple as for jason he doesn’t need drew. He just wanted him to tell the truth which of course he lied when was the last time the writer’s show him with his daughter just the two of them she lost her mom you would think he would be with her instead of chasing after a married woman
Gh has gone down hill, the story lines make no sense. Drew and Willow make me sick how old is he any way. GH is going in the wrong direction.
Totally agree
I totally agree. I really wish the writers would write Drew out of the story line & have Willow come to her senses . There is no way Jason could have killed Cyrus if Drew would just tell the truth.
Drew lied right in front of police commissioner an to the ADA an it’s going to bit Drew in the butt cause of lying to them
I hope that in line of questioning that they could have looked at Jason phone an possibly if Jason was driving that they have GPS locations on an it will show that Jason was at Drew’s house an Drew was there too an Drew will be in trouble!
But I have to say Drew is a skuzzball and I hope he gets into serious troubled Waters and make him lose everything Willow Scout he won’t have nothing and lose his Congress seat in Congress he will be back in prison!
Not sure how he still has his congressional seat as it is considering it’s almost March and he hasn’t shown up for work yet.
Yeah there’s a lot of mortals in Congress who don’t do much but at least they show up and pretend to be interested in the job.
I was thinking the same thing like are they going to track his phone but these writers are dumb.
I was thinking the same thing about the GPS, but Jason wouldn’t want that to be on his car or phone. It could come back to bite him at other times. I’m sure he’s probably disabled it.
Drew is definitely a scuzzball. What reason would Jason have to use Drew as his alibi, when everybody knows they hate each other? There are plenty of other people he could use, like Sonny or Carly. Using Drew just doesn’t make sense if it was untrue.
Yes, please get rid of Drew. Wish Monica was able to disown him before she passed.
Yes, very stupid story having Joss join the WSB. Hope Carly finds out what Brennan has done and that will be the of their little romance. As for Drew, his life needs to be found out and Jason off the hook! Willow is so stupid, hasn’t a clue, Nina needs to tell her the truth! PLEASE let this happen soon, GH. We are waiting, patiently but some not so much!
They Cut her out,the writer didn’t want people get upset like Sam so they are cutting actors one by one?
Joss being a spy? Are you for real? That is the dumbest thing I ever saw GH do!!! I mean someone!!!! Also if I didn’t dislike Drew I despise him now!!! What a jerk!!!! Lying about being an alibi for Jason?! I can’t wait until naive Willow discovers what a scum Drew is!!!!
OMG. This is really going to happen? The writers are really going to have Drillow go so low as to move in together? Nina is really going to be so selfish and let this happen? Maybe if she tells dumb Willow that she was sleeping with disgusting Drew, Willow will wake up. This has gone on far too long and it doesn’t make good TV. This storyline has totally turned me off from GH and having been a fan for over 40 years, I’ve seen some bad storylines.
Joslyn being WSB is ridiculous. Lucy not knowing about Sidwell is ridiculous. Lulu is totally annoying. Tracy being Tracy is fantastic. Stick it to Drew. I love it.
Just want to say, it’s been so long now that if Nina tells her daughter about her and Drew, Willow is just stupid and naive enough to tell her mother” well, he loves me now for real, and you were just a fling that you took seriously.
I hate this story line! It is bad enough that I don’t even want to watch anymore. To think that Joss would lie and betray her Mom is ridiculous! Drew has become such a slime-ball it is not fun to watch anymore. Willow has been turned into a character that is not likable or one that you can even want to follow. I have watched GH for decades. The story needs some serious help. I don’t think I am alone in how I feel about the recent writing. Blah!
I second that! Been watching since day one. I am not sure if it’s just the times we live in, but this seems more ridiculous to watch these days. Bad writing, loose ends that don’t add up? I love the characters and actors, but I am starting to cringe when I watch.
That’s it for me. I am out! Too farfetched. Instead of thinking Cyrys wiped down the cabin and totally escaped, they all are saying he’s dead– with no reason to think that. Come on.
Joss leaving without talking to her Mom & taking NO personal belongings is the most unrealistic storyline GH writers have ever dished out – it’s absurd! Surely the writers could have done better!!! PLUS the new Jack Brennan makes me disrespect my beloved Carly. I have watched & supported GH when others criticized – but these 2 things are insulting. Please get the original Jack back
Joss storykline silly. Rest of GH storylines the best of all the soaps.
Of course cryrus is dead we all saw him get shot in the chest, you did not watch that day??
I can’t wait for Drew to hit rock bottom and take Willow with him.Anba needs to go to jail for helping Valentin to escape
I am so looking forward to the Drew and Willow blow up
The Joss storyline doesn’t bother me at all since agencies recruit from college campuses normally. I figure he sent her off for training, not a mission, but we’ll find out when she returns. I also wonder if Eden needed a break and that is how the story developed. She didn’t take off very long when her mother passed.
Anyone in their right mind knows that Jason would not rely on Drew to lie on him. Also, Drew and Jason share the same DNA so it would be just as likely Drew’s. Lastly and most importantly, there is ZERO evidence that Cyrus is dead. Cyrus was last scene escaping after he almost killed Lucky. They have no reason to believe anything but he skipped town. They never had any evidence that Cyrus was ever in that cabin in the first place. So stupid.
Seems like you missed a whole show, maybe more? Joss went to the cabin with Dex’s gun, Cyrus came in and realized what she was up to, picked up a big ax and when he went after her, she shot and killed him, and then Brennan arrived, etc, etc.
I think the meaning was that the police have zero evidence that Cyrus was killed. We know because it was shown that Joss shot Cyrus when he went after her with the ax/hatchet. It could just as easily been true that Cyrus wiped everything down and disappeared. The police automatically assumed he was killed.
Kmt GH is going down the drain don’t know what is the writers doing no good storyline smh
I wish they would write Drew’s character out,as his character is a scumbag and Willow is so stupid, that whatever she gets, she deserves!!!
Drew was one of the only standup honest guys in the whole show and so was Willow. I’m not sure why they’re having them be the adulterers. I hate the writers for doing this to Drew. I like the Drew character because he was the first honest guy they had on the show And Willow would never betray Michael not really. This is poor writing just for sensationalism the only character I like to watch is Ava and the college kids.
Drew is not as the bad guy and the writers are being unfair to him by making him lie about where Jason was. Drew has been the standup guy he’s always been until he fell in love with Michael’s wife who happens to be in love with him. General Hospital has always been about adultery, but I don’t think it ever had anybody commit cold blooded murder like Sunny did and Jason covered it up so I’m almost through with the whole show. The only people I like to watch are Ava. And The college kids. The rest of it is too contrived too crazy.
So, you’re fine with Ava, who directly killed Connie and helped contribute to AJ and Morgan’s deaths? Don’t get me wrong – I love the character and the actress.
As for other “honest” guys, Chase, Curtis, TJ (and most certainly) Mac. You can still root for them.
Joslyn being in the WSB is the stupidest thing yet. She’s barely old enough to drink and looks less like she is. I don’t get the angle. What’s Brennan getting out of it?
What’s Brennan getting out of it? Are you sleeping when the show is on? It’s obvious, he’s getting a WSB agent from scratch, trained, etc. It’s not a joke!
I thought she would be great to take Jason’s place, Anna is getting older a new WSB young agent has so many possibilities
I have watched since the 60s and now find the show being hard to watch. Can’t stand Drew and think Joss story is not even believable . Going to stop being a fan. Willow story is so stupid and is another reason to stop watching.
Beyond the Gates is right on time as GH is going downhill. When will Willow find out that Drew has slept with her mother
What are these new writers thinking of? Having Johnson work as a WSB agent is absolutely crazy and makes no sense whatsoever. Plus they’re gonna frame Jason for something he did not do and Jocelyn is too stupid to get out of it. She should’ve gone immediately to the police explain what happened and told her mother Carly. When Carly finds out she is going to explode. Sometimes these storylines just get out of control and don’t make any sense. They should take off the SWSB immediately.
Please bring back the REAL Brennan! He was so perfect in the role and a delight to look at. (I’m old, but I’m not blind!)
He chose to leave the show.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jack Plants a Kiss on Nina; Are You Down With Them as a Couple?

The Friday, July 17 episode of General Hospital brought with it a cliffhanger that many viewers were forecasting was on its way to happening. Yup, Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) have a thing for each other and their relationship took a turn when Jack kissed Nina while at the Brown Dog bar while they were having drinks and she certainly did not pull away.
How did we get here? After being unable to find his black box at Wyndemere, Jack raised concerns that his WSB higher-ups would consider transferring him out of Port Charles because Cullum’ machinations happened in the town where he was the bureau chief.
Then, Jack asks Nina what motivates her to go to such extremes to help her daughter Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) with her nefarious crimes. Nina begins to explain to Jack that her children were taken from her and she was unable to protect Nelle or Willow and that Willow has suffered unspeakable trauma in her life that she had never totally dealt with. As a mother, she will do anything to protect her daughter and to stay in her life.

JACK MAKES HIS MOVE
After downing more drinks, Jack apologized for having blackmailed Nina to get intel from Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) in exchange for the traffic cam footage of Willow. He wished instead of that maneuver he would have asked the editor in chief of Crimson out on a date. He feel like then he would have gotten to know Nina before she had to save his life.
When Nina shared that is sounds like Jack is holding it against her, his comeback response is that he doesn’t do gratitude well. So in an effort to show Nina how gratefully he truly is to her, Jack gets up from his barstool and plants a major kiss on her! We fade to black.
You can check out the scenes between Jack and Nina from today’s GH below in the video entitled, “Before You Saved My Life” below.
Now weigh-in: are you all for Jack and Nina as a couple? Do you find it interesting that for the most part, Nina ends up with men that used to be involved with her nemesis Carly (Laura Wright)? Share your thoughts on this new romantic pairing via the comment section.

‘General Hospital’s’ Amanda Setton Talks Her Reaction, Scenes, and Co-Stars After Becoming a Daytime Emmy Nominee for the First Time (Exclusive)

When the nominations were announced for the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards earlier this week, General Hospital fans were thrilled to see Amanda Setton’s name as one of this year’s Outstanding Supporting Actress nominees.
It marks the first time in her career that she has ever been nominated. Setton has played Brook Lynn Quartermaine since 2019. Soap viewers first saw her in the role of Kimberly Andrews on One Life to Live during her run from 2009-2011.
Amanda received her Daytime Emmy nomination for her emotional turn as Brook Lynn learned she had been lied to by her mother, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) for years, after giving up her baby for adoption as a teen. Little did she know she had a secret son living with her this whole time at the Quartermaine mansion in Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).

During an exclusive conversation live on Tuesday night, July 14, during the Michael Fairman Channel’s annual Daytime Emmy Nominations Special, she discussed her reaction to the news, her nominated reel and her GH co-stars.
GOING FOR EMMY GOLD
Setton explained how she found out she was a Emmy nominee! “Frank Valentini called me, our boss. It was such a beautiful moving moment. I’ve known Frank for 20 years and to share this with him, I’m indebted to him on a lot of levels. I was in the car with my husband. We were going for a hike. We got away for just a couple days, just the two of us. It was early in the morning and to share that moment with Frank, to share that moment with my husband, it was the best. We cried and I’m just so grateful.”
The Supporting Actress nominee shared what scenes she submitted: “My reel was obviously about the Gio storyline. It started with the scenes with Lulu (Alexa Havins) and shout out to Alexa! She’s the best. It’s when I first find out that she knows and that I had boy. Then, begging her not to tell Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and just to leave it alone, then into the scenes with Rena Sofer, shout out to her! She is the best. I love her. I spoke to her today. She deserved to also be nominated. They are the scenes right after I find out at the Nurses’ Ball, and right after Brooklyn finds out that Gio is her son, not her cousin. Then my reel ended with the scene with Gio in the kitchen when Brook Lynn’s first sees him after the Nurses’ Ball and she says, ‘We can work this out,’ and he’s like, ‘No, we can’t,” and he walks away. It was an amazing story and kudos to the writers.”

Photo: ABC
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SCENES
It is always important in the Emmy game to put together a submission, so that someone who doesn’t watch the show day to day, can grasp the story of what’s happening to your character. Setton explained how she went about assembling the choices for her scenes. “Between Michelle Henry (producer, GH) and Frank, they said, ‘You need to tell the story. Find the scenes that tell the story.” Once I did it was clear to all of us, the story has been told,” shared Amanda.
“Anyone who’s watching this reel can get a feel for the intensity of the story. I think after even the first scene where you’re just like, ‘Wait a minute! This girl had a baby? She didn’t know if it was a boy or girl?’ Now this nemesis of her wants to … ‘What’s happening? What’s going on? And then the mom knew the story? ‘ So by the end, your heart’s just broken for this girl.”
Initially, Amanda like the viewers were trying to figure out how GH would make sense of the story, where suddenly years later we find out Brook Lynn got pregnant at summer camp by Dante! Setton said, “Once they (the writers) started building it out and you saw all the different relationships playing out between her and her mother, her and Dante, her and Lulu, her and Gio, her and her husband Chase (Josh Swickard), even Tracy (Jane Elliot), and then the fallout of all of it, it just touched so many characters on the canvas. I think it was like a huge juicy burger for the fans to just take a big bite.”

AMANDA SETTON TALKS ON HER TV SON GIOVANNI MAZZA
In addition to Amanda, both Giovanni Mazza and Braedyn Bruner (Emma) landed their first ever nominations in the Emerging Talent category. Setton shared how she and Mazza have developed such a close bond.
“Gio and I are super close. Right from the start, we just hit it off. He is such a delight. He’s so hardworking. He’s such an eager learner. He’s always looking to be better. He always wants to grow. That’s a huge testament to his work ethic,” explains Amanda. “He’s an amazing person, and over the last couple of years, we’ve had many deep conversations about work, about life, perspective, gratitude, values, a lot of different deep things. I could not be more thrilled for Gio and this moment for him. It is well deserved. He has worked so hard for it. I really hope he wins. Although, I also love Braedyn!”
One of the most unforgettable moments of 2025 in the soaps is when Gio takes to the Nurses’ Ball stage after overhearing Lulu and Lois talk that he is the biological son of Brook Lynn and Dante. Ready to begin to play his violin, he smashes it pieces and storms off. Setton was in the scene and recalls, “That was wild. He did such a great job with that. That is not an easy moment to hit, pun intended. He nailed it.”

Photo: ABC
THE CONNECTION WITH JANE ELLIOT
On General Hospital, Brook Lynn is close with her ‘Granny,” the one and only Tracy Quartermaine, and in real life Amanda is very close with Jane Elliot, with whom she was able to share the news of her nomination. “First of all, this woman has become one of my closest friends.”
Amanda adds, I’m not exaggerating. I am confident to say she would say the same. We’ve become really close friends outside of work. We speak, almost every day. We just went out to lunch last week. She’s become such a close person in my life over these last few years. She’s such a leader. Jane’s a really special person in my life after my family. I wanted to share the news of this nomination with her and she was over the moon.”
HARD WORK PAID OFF
Getting a pat on the back from her peers is one of the more touching moments in Amanda’s career, as she explains: “I have to say we’re in the daytime world, so for us it feels so wonderful and so rich. But in the landscape of the entertainment industry, in daytime, we’re in the trenches. We work really hard. We have a ton of pages. We have a ton of really high stakes, dramatic work to try to do in a grounded, authentic way, continuously every day on television. Not that it’s thankless, because thank God we are employed actors on a network TV show, and we are also grateful. But, I’m not going to lie, and say it doesn’t feel good to just get a little ‘thank you’ or like a little, ‘I see your work.’ It feels fulfilling.”
You can check out the full live interview with Amanda Setton at the 2:24:26 mark during the Daytime Emmy Nominations Special Live below, which featured 13 newly-nominated actors sharing their reactions and what they submitted for their reels the landed them a nomination at the upcoming 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
So, are you happy for Amanda that she finally secured her first ever Daytime Emmy nomination? Do you think she is one of the frontrunners for the gold for Outstanding Supporting Actress based on the emotional tale of Brook Lynn’s journey to learning she had a son and it was Gio Palmieri?
