GENERAL HOSPITAL Sneak Peek: Britt Goes Home With Nathan!

As things fall apart in different ways for both Detective Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) this week on General Hospital, there is nothing like some “hot” company and a little booze won’t cure for one night? Right?
Well, from the looks of this sneak peek scene from ABC.com, it looks like it! After drowning their sorrows at the bar, Nathan asks Britt “Do you want to get out of her?” To which she replies: “Why the hell not?”
So, will Britt and Nathan hit the sheets? Is this the beginning of a new romance? Or, just a messy one-night stand? Or, will they never have sex and Britt will pass out drunk?

REPORT: Nicholas Chavez Not Returning to General Hospital
For those who were holding out hope that Daytime Emmy winner and fan favorite, Nicholas Chavez would be returning to General Hospital after filming his leading role in Ryan Murphy’s Monsters anthology, it looks like those hopes have been dashed.
According to a report from TV Line, although unconfirmed from General Hospital or a representative for Chavez, the actor will not reprise his role as Spencer Cassadine on the long-running ABC soap opera and continue the love story of Sprina opposite Tabyana Ali (Trina, GH).
Chavez was cast as Lyle Menendez over the the summer of 2023 for the second season of Murphy’s limited Monsters series on Netflix. In the upcoming season, the series will focus on the the case of Lyle and Erik Menendez, the two well-to-do Beverly Hills brothers accused of murdering their parents in 1989.

After word from Chavez casting was revealed, GH fans were concerned over the fate of the Sprina story, a spokesperson for GH shared, “We support Nicholas’ endeavors and look forward to having him return to General Hospital once this project is wrapped.”
In story, the series “killed off” Spencer when he went overboard with Esme to the steely waters below after being injected with a drug, thanks to Esme and falling into the Seine River in France. However, his body was never recovered, and believed to have drowned or washed away. Thus, leaving an opening for Spencer to return in the form of Chavez or be recast down the line.

TV Line shared that ‘multiple sources’ are confirming that Chavez is not returning to the ABC soap opera, which is what many had suspected might be the case once he left for this major starring role in a Ryan Murphy project. Chavez has been relatively quiet on social media for months.

The Michael Fairman Channel spoke with Nicholas Chavez for a virtual interview when he first joined the show in 2021, and spoke to him right after when he won the Daytime Emmy in 2022 – you can see those below.
No word yet on when Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story will debut on Netflix, but it is assumed later this year.

Jack Wagner Open to Making an Appearance in ‘Melrose Place’ Reboot and Shares, “You Never Really Die on a Soap”
With the Melrose Place revival the talk of the town, now Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco, GH, ex-Nick, B&B and ex-Peter Burns, MP) has weighed-in on it and if he would show up in the new series if it should find a home.
Currently, CBS Studios is developing a reboot starring Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton. But what is Dr. Peter Burns were to show up alive?
As those who saw the end of the original MP know, Peter and Amanda (Locklear) faked their deaths and then tied the knot with Peter on a beach, supposedly in a “happily ever after” scenario.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Wagner expressed, what we all know who watch the soaps, that no one is never, ever really gone for good. Jack expressed, “You never really die on a soap, right? How they unfold those two characters (Peter and Amanda), it’d be fantastic how they sort of tell that story.”
Wagner added, “That was a great finale to be included in, especially with Heather. If I’m asked to come back, I’d absolutely entertain that.”

The original Melrose Place aired for seven seasons from 1992 to 1999. The story featured the residents of an apartment complex, whose lives were intertwined. Eventually Wagner and Heather Locklear dated fro 2007-2011.
As previously reported, the new Melrose Place share that some of original neighbors and friends reunite after a death. The loglines add, “The pressure cooker of a reunion soon uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments, and reveals new secrets… throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brook Lynn and Chase Have Their Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties
On General Hospital, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) both were treated to Bachelorette and Bachelor parties to shake off any of those pre-wedding jitters. At The Savoy, the ladies have a touching and fun time with Brook Lynn.
The bride-to-be gives a speech to thank everyone for coming, while Lois lets everyone know to try the signature cocktail the “Brooklynn Chaser”, which gets everybody eventually and mostly, drunk.
When Tracy (Jane Elliot) questions Lois (Rena Sofer) as to why there is no music for the party, Lois realizes she forgot, and somehow, who does she call to the rescue? Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)! Saving the day, he winds up playing some tunes and later gets on the dance floor to ‘shake it off’ with the gals.

Lois makes a speech as the mother of the bride, and shares how proud she is of the woman Brook Lynn has become. Wedding games begin, including one of “hot potato” with a wedding bouquet.
When it’s time for the “Silly Poses” section of the party, Spinelli has now morphed from DJ to staff photographer taking memorable photos of the ladies to remember the evening by.

The best part of the event, was when Brook Lynn tries to get her grandmother Tracy out on the dance floor, which, at first, she refuses. After several of the guests bust a move, a tipsy Tracy joins the dance party after Joss mentions that if her grandmother Bobbie was here, she would dance. Tracy says “she agrees” and begins to cut a rug on the floor, much to the delight of the other women.

In the final moments, a tipsy Joss and Kristina (Kate Mansi) have a confrontation about Sonny, and Joss lets Kristina in more on Sonny’s behavior, which looks to have clued in Kristina a bit more as to how something is way off about her dad.

Across town at the Hatchett Bar, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and the men with the exception of Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper), all attend Chase’s Bachelor Party where throwing hatchets into a dart board for supremacy is the order of the day. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ned (Wally Kurth) get into some words over ELQ, while Dante makes a toast to his police partner, Chase.

Suddenly Dex (Evan Hofer) shows up. Chase thanks Dex for coming, but Dex gets some dirty looks from other cops on the force. Dante gives Chase his present, which is a signed baseball by the Boston Red Sox.
Ned (Wally Kurth) makes a speech that although no one is good enough for his daughter, Brook Lynn, Chase has come closer than anyone has, so welcome to the family. Running in at the end is Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), who just left Brook Lynn’s party, and she toasts her singing partner, Chase, and to the great man that he is.

They make a great looking couple.
As for Nathan’s acting…it’s so bad it’s good! LOL…What I mean is that I got used to him and now I actually think his stilted, almost clipped way of speaking fits the role. It’s sort of like a…”just the facts, man…just the facts.” He’s beyond cute…there’s something very earnest about his role…and I like him!
As for the two of them, could be an interesting match. Seems like all the cops in Port Charles fall for people who are either criminals or have criminal family. Is that a crime? Ahem…
lol…the reason cops fall for criminals on GH is because almost everyone in PC is a criminal!!!
You are so right Mr leave it to beaver..I thought with the new regime we, as fans, will get less of the “mini Sopranos” act, but it actually is the same like before but more so..Dark, gloomy and cartoonish but I still love my GH.
As for the possible pairing of Britt and Nathan, good! Kelly is a good actress and I hope she gets more screen time with a different storyline..Maybe it will help Ryan become more comfortable with his role and let loose.

I dont like either of these characters but I like the move. This guy is good looking and he really could pick up whomever he wants and we all know Britt is a Hoochie so this is believable. I hope they hook up and head off into the sunset! See ya!

I keep thinking that Britt is not the bio-child of frau doctor and Faison, but was taken in similar fashion to try to please faison so many years ago. Seeing how he was so entranced with having a boy, can’t think she would have given a boy to her sister…. time will tell all secrets.
I think Nathan was given to Maddie because Nathan is the love child between Victor Cassadine and Dr. O!
I have not seen today’s show yet, but dating my thought on the Britt’s true parenting…. just had a thought…. she could be Nina’s child, then being Nathan’s niece. Know their ages are close, but I was only 7 when my nephew was born, so could happen. And Madeline did not say if she was successful in aborting the baby… since Silas was not able to see Nina, he did not see her PG so baby is born and given away.
Ya. I think Britt is going to be Nina’s child, because they never said it died. And Silas said she was in a coma for over 20 years and Britt is probably in her 20ties.

I also thought Nathan was related to Britt.For example maybe his mom and Dr.Obrecht are siblings.So Madeline’s maiden name might have been Westbourne.However maybe when Nathan became a cop he took his mom’s maiden name as his mom’s last name but shortened it to West.If the show does make Britt and Nathan related somehow then i don’t see them having sex.As for a potential Britt and Morgan pairing i don’t see that happening anytime soon.

I do like Britt, she ha grown on me. I can’t help but hope she rises above it all and redeems herself somehow from her insane mother. Nik should understand crazy families.
I simply cannot stand Elizabeth, so I am hoping there is still some life left in Nik/ Britt.
On a side note, whoever you re right now, GO ANTHONY GEARY! Such an amazing actor… he makes us believe anything! My one fear right now, he is going to take his normal extended vacation sometime around May until almost October…will that mean this story line will be in limbo for the next months?
It probably wouldnt matter if Geary went on his vacation or not…itll probably take until Oct. to reveal who he is!!!
I think those were rumors. I don’t think they’re related. Considering Nathan seems to have interest in Britt it would be very awkward. Just because their last names are similar doesn’t automatically mean they are related some people can have the same last names and not be related.

Yeah it very much sucks that they’re siblings. However, I may very well be wrong, and there’s a 90% Chance I’m wrong, but what if Obrecht stole Britt? I’ll elaborate. In the preview to the next episode she is yelling that Nathan and Britt are siblings. This seems weird, why would she find the need to yell that? Perhaps she kidnapped Britt, and Madeline knows it. Madeline wants a way to get under Obrecht’s skin, so she brings that up. And Obrecht isn’t pleased to be reminded that she stole Britt. That’s why she yells it. However I could be very very well wrong, I just really want Nathan and Britt to date. Lol.

Quite honestly, I’ve disliked Britt since she came on the show and I can’t stand Nathan. I hope they’re both off the show soon.
I haven’t heard any rumors about them being siblings but West and Westbourne do sound similar, so maybe there is a connection. But making Madeline and Dr. O sisters would be beyond ridiculous, they look and sound nothing alike.
I was kind of hoping Madeline turns out to be Victor Cassadine’s ex wife and Monica’s sister, or maybe even a third Q child (sister of Alan and Tracy). Then she’d have ties to two powerful families, and seeing her in scenes with Monica and especially Tracy would be amazing.
Ive written that too…Madelyn and Monica as sisters with Madelyn raising Monicas daughter Nina and marrying Ninas father James Reeves who was Monicas first love…and Madelyn having an affair with Victor Cassidine and Nathan is Victors son and thats why James left all his money to only Nina but only Maddie knows this and never told Nathan! However i do like your suggestion making Maddie Alan and Tracy’s sister…its a slim chance either way but we can still hope it happens!!!
my guess (and this probably sounds very silly) is that Dr O and Victor did once have a love child, Christina Cassadine who was raised by Madelyn as “Nina” Reeves. This makes the ‘killing-my-daughter-and-her-Silas-baby’ storyline more palatable, no?
I am so curious..Why so many people want Madelyn and Monica to be sisters? It sounds like a good idea and it will probably be delicious seeing these two actors go at it but why do I see so many post about this? What Ms Charleson on Knots Landing or what Ms Millls in GH at some point?? I really do love the ideas you guys are putting out there…GH needs this kind of comic/dramatic force.
My reason for wanting Donna and Leslie to play sisters is it would be sort of a nod to when they played sisters Iris and Laura Donnelly on ‘Love Is A Many Splendored Thing’ 40 years ago plus with the killing of A.J., and very little family left for Monica, making them sisters could provide Leslie with more story for years to come, especially if Nina is alive and turns out to be Monicas daughter…i had written how this could be possible in another post. Unfortunately, i doubt tptb will do this story…they most likely dont read these posts and even if they did i still doubt theyd use fan ideas in fear that sometimes most fan ideas look better than their own and they dont want to admit that for obvious reasons!!!

I really like Britt..Hate Liz…but I might be able to stomach her if she were with Ric…not with Nik though..that ship has sailed…Britt is human unlike some of the other characters that are hypocrites..I saw that rumour on this website that Michelle Stafford is going to be Nina..now that could definitely be interesting…

I love the idea of these two! For some reason I always thought these two would instantly ‘click’ when they meet eachother. I don’t know if this will happen, but what if they did end up sleeping together, to which a week later Britt finds out she’s pregnant and doesn’t know if the baby is Nikolas’s or Nathan’s. That would be lovely drama. :p

What is up with Britt and connecting to men who have terrible family members? First Nikolas, now Nathan. Considering the situation both of them are in, it’s not a shocker they hook up. I like the idea of them as a couple. I hope they’re not siblings either. After the failure of Kiki and Michael cousin storyline I am so sick of GH trying to do this incest stuff. Don’t make it happen. Make them a couple.

Please don’t put Nickolas and Elizabeth together…… They are not a handsome couple, and its going backward not forward. Elizabeth is the Amy Vinning of Port Charles, ( a filler, background player,eyou get the point…) She is just not a lead player to me. Perhaps if she gains some weight, and look more like a woman, oppose to a teenager in size, that may help her become more convincing as a lead actress, opposite a handsome hunk.

I do like the premise someone suggested, that is…Nathan and Britt being twins. Dr. O kept Britt but gave Maddie Nathan, for reasons that are a mystery right now. So, does that mean that Faizon has that long-awaited -for son? And if Dr. O wanted so desperately to give him a son, why stash him away? ….I am really loving GH right now…..enjoying the mystery.s
Hi, Christy. I think I posted this before….Britt is too old to be Nina’s and Silas’ daughter…..as is Nathan. Nina went into a coma 20 years ago. Britt is a doctor. In order to hold this position in the medical field she had to have gone through medical school and then do her internship. She must be close to thirty . But, anything is possible on soaps….I don’t want to put my foot in it. Lol
It’s almost silly how GH is trying to pass this guy who plays Nathan off as an actor. He’s so baaad. For the first time (in foreveer..wait, stop it!) I don’t care how attractive a guy is because the acting takes away so much of the appeal. I’d rather have a guy not as conventionally attractive as him who knows how to act. A guy who, just through his expression or show of emotion, can make me think he’s a million times hotter than he is. COME ON!
