The Looks of Lucy Coe: Which Was Your Favorite from the 2025 GH Nurses’ Ball?
The 2025 edition of the General Hospital Nurses’ Ball has come to its conclusion. When the story picks up this week, the aftermath of the shocking events at the festivities will be the talk of Port Charles.
However, before we turn the page, what’s a Nurses’ Ball without the numerous gown changes by the mistress of ceremonies Lucy Coe as played by GH vet, Lynn Herring? Part of the fun of every ball is to see just what Lucy wears throughout the evening and this time, she kept all of her clothes on!
There were five dresses that Lucy wore and all were from GH’s costume designer, Shawn Reeves. Before she took to the stage, Lucy walked the red carpet in her Nurses’ Ball t-shirt with a long red skirt, and her pet Llama, Sebastian.

During Michael Fairman TV’s recent interview with LynnHerring, the actress shared about how Lucy’s looks and gowns come together and how much she has a say in what she wears during the special episodes.
Lynn shared, “Shawn (Reeves) our costume designer, has found a way to do this on a budget. You have to remember that our budgets are so different now (then in the old days). Shawn finds the most beautiful fabrics and he knows me so well, that we both will look in the mirror together. He brings a dress rack in and I’ll try them on and he will go, ‘Oh, no, Lynn,’ or I will go, ‘Oh no, Shawn. That’s bad.’ I don’t think we’ve ever disagreed where we didn’t see it right away in the mirror and go, ‘That is not going to work!”’
So, which was your favorite gown and look of Lucy Coe’s pictures above from left to right #1, #2, #3, #4, #5? Let us know in the comment section, and in case you missed it, you can check out our video interview with Lynn from the Michael Fairman Channel below.
The first two are the best-looking dresses Lucy donned this year.
I like #1 the best.
Gown 2 is stunning. Her hair looks fantastic in #4.
Reeves needs to scale back on his over reliance on sparkly gowns. Using too many can be rather distracting.
Agreed
I also agree, over the top, less is more!
# 2 was the best…
It’s hard to pick one since Lynn rocks them all. I really liked 1 & 2. 1 reminds me of the golden age of Hollywood.
Lucy always looks fantastic in whatever gown she wears at the ball. My favorite this year was #1.
Who cares! Give this woman a storyline .
I like #4 the best.
I also like 4 the best
I also like 4 the best. Her smile reaches her eyes and is the best in this dress.
I don’t quite understand the Lama.. I know Lucy used to have a duck.. but never quite understand the use of animals in the show.
Lynn Herring owns a ranch and is involved in animal rescue
Thank OG Steve. I appreciate the aminals all the more now.
*animals
I didn’t LOVE any of the dresses. The red skirt and t-shirt looked the best on her!
Why didn’t they put that much effort into how they dress Brooklynn? I guess if your not a 0 or 2 they don’t know how to style.
Amanda Setton dresses the way she does. I find it stylish yet respectful.
Love the way she dresses. Very stylish
The 5th. Dress was the prettiest.
#1
I am not found of these dresses
My choice would be 2
I didn’t like any of the gowns, especially Lucy’s. Jordan’s was the only somewhat pretty gown
#4 is stunning
Dress #1
Best part of the show Giovanni’s first performance brought me to tears he was phenomenal!!
You are so right! Was fantastic!!
Red skirt and tee was my fav
4
I like 2 and 3
I like number #2 Lucy always look fabulous in the nurses ball
She looks beautiful in all but I’d say 2,4,5
The Nurses Ball screamed “budget restrains” this year. It’s sad, but I’ll take it just so we continue to have a Ball each year. Lucy’s gowns were all beautiful in their own right, but I thought # 2 and 3 were the best.
I’m curious about the decision to include that lama each year. Couldn’t they have saved some money by cutting him and all those cameos of the reporters on the red carpet? I don’t feel they added much. Is the lama the reason Lucy didn’t wear something other than that red skirt and a T-shirt on the red carpet? Does Sabastian spit? LOL!
The llama and the guest reporters cost them next to nothing. The guests are all real life entertainment reporters. They do it for the publicity and might get scale for an under-5 line appearance (or free).
And Lynn Herring owns a ranch and is involved in animal rescue. Again – little to no cost.
I love how she got such a great haircut in the middle of the ball.
Just wondering why there were no nurses
at the at the Nurses Ball?
Willow is a nurse – although her only patient ever seems to be Sasha.
Amy and Dionna were shown in the opening number. Elizabeth was the only one not at the ball (home with broken leg).

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Serena Sets Her Sights on Michael; Jason’s Emotional Exit from the Mob

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”

At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.
Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
