General Hospital's Nancy Lee Grahn & William deVry Video Interview: Julexis, Sex Scenes, and GH Now!

That lusty Port Charles duo, Julian Jerome and Alexis Davis, just can’t seem to fight the attraction they have for each other no matter how hard one of them may try … especially the legal eagle!
Now, with Julian in Pentonville along with his arch nemesis Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), the Fluke (Tony Geary) story unraveling, and Alexis caught between the man she has the “hots” for and the law, it was the perfect time to sit down for a chitchat with the actors who bring the couple known as “Julexis” to life!
On-Air On-Soaps sat down this past week with Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) and William deVry (Julian) at the ABC TCA Winter Press Tour to get the low down on those now infamous sex scenes, where they see their on-screen love story going from here, how they shed a tear in emotional scenes and prepare for them, and what if … Alexis and Julian were to go on the run! And, we discuss with Nancy her new digital series on ABC.com, GH Now! which just had its online premiere one week ago with the posting of its first three episodes. We discuss the vignettes involving Nancy and the GH cast, the creation of it, Nancy’s hopes for it, and have some inside fun with it!
Later in the video when discussing how Alexis feels towards Julian, Nancy responded; “He’s got Alexis all sexed-up now!” When discussing kissing William as Julian, Nancy called it, “Smoldering!”
In terms of what is on the horizon for Julexis, William revealed, “I think there is some good stuff coming up, and some some curve balls coming our way, but I think Julexis fans will have some things to chew off the bone … let’s put it that way.” In terms of how other story can impact the duo, deVry commented, “We have an interesting thing with Sonny in state prison right now …. and there is something that comes up with Sonny that I think is ingenious, and so we need something ingenious to allow us to come back to Port Charles.”

‘General Hospital’s’ Chris McKenna On Jack’s Reaction to Carly Cheating On Him with Valentin: ‘Heartbreak and Absolute Rage and Humiliation’
The stage is set for next week on General Hospital, after yesterday’s May 1 cliffhanger, when Brennan (Chris McKenna) sneaks into Carly’s (Laura Wright) house and heads up to her bedroom, bursts in the door and finds her between the sheets, albeit at that moment alone.
However, Jack is already armed with plenty of ammo, he saw two glasses of wine in Carly’s kitchen, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) already lit the fire, by telling him her mother was seeing someone else, the WSB bureau chief then went to visit Carly’s ex, Sonny (Maurice Benard). The mobster’s reaction pretty much sold Jack that Carly must be sleeping with another man.
As Jack goes to check out the situation to confirm his suspicions, Carly and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) have just hit the sheets, after fighting their attraction once again for each other. Now comes the moment of truth that Carly has been sleeping with Brennan’s sworn enemy, Valentin.

In a preview of what’s to come, Soap Opera Digest spoke to both Chris McKenna and Laura Wright where they talked about the upcoming scenes. McKenna expressed, “This has been coming for such a long time.” He also previews, “Brennan comes at her pretty aggressively.”
THREE’S COMPANY
Wright added, “Carly didn’t expect Brennan to walk into her bedroom! He doesn’t have a key. It’s late at night. She thinks she and Valentin are in the clear. She sees that he’s so angry and so worried about being cheated on… but not that he’s sorry for lying to her face or because her daughter is in danger because of him!”
As to how Jack will handle the situation from here and finding out that Carly is with Valentin, McKenna confirms, to expect, “heartbreak and absolute rage and humiliation” from Jack. He’s thinking, ‘This can’t be real. This can’t have happened. I can’t be this stupid. I can’t have been this blind.’ And as to Jack’s current state of mind, coming into the situation, “Jack is drunk and a little unhinged and the audience finally gets a glimpse of what’s going on underneath that rigid exterior.”
Needless to say, the fallout will be huge, and McKenna is proud of the trios work in the scenes, sharing that Laura Wright was a fantastic as ever, and that GH’s executive producer, Frank Valentini was on the set the entire time with Laura, James and him, making this story point play out to its full effect.

‘General Hospital’s’ Jonathan Bennett Receives 3 ‘Critics Choice Real TV Awards’ Nominations for Hallmark Series, ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’
Many things are coming up roses for Jonathan Bennett! On the heels of the news that he is set to debut this month in the role of Joe Fitzpatrick on General Hospital, who is rumored to be a new love interest for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), comes the news that Bennett’s reality series, Finding Mr. Christmas has received 3 nomination for the Critics Choice Real TV Awards.
Bennett’s Hallmark Channel series finds itself in tough competition alongside fellow nominees: RuPaul’s Drag Race (MTV), Squid Game: The Challenge (Netflix), Survivor 50 (CBS), Top Chef (Bravo) and The Traitors (Peacock). In addition, Jonathan himself is nominated for Best Show Host and the series participants as the Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series.
The Critics Choice Association (CCA) revealed the nominees for the eighth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on Thursday, which recognize excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Winners will be announced online at CriticsChoice.com on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET.

Taking to his Instagram to celebrate the nominations, GH’s Bennett, enthused, “3 Critic Choice Nominations! I’m so proud of the FINDING MR CHRISTMAS and to be in the company of all the legends in all these categories is so surreal! Congrats to Hallmark Channel and to our nominated cast and nominated show and everyone who made this magical show possible. This is crazy! This gives FMC 6 Critics Choice nominations in 2 years. Not bad for a little show on Hallmark Channel. What are your thoughts on our show?” Jumping first into the comment thread was one of his new GH co-stars, Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) who expressed, “Yeah buddy!!!🔥🔥”
In the series, Bennett, the host and co-creator spends eight weeks guiding 10 aspiring actors through a series of “festive face-offs” and acting challenges alongside actors like soap opera notables, Hunter King (ex-Summer, Y&R) and Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS). Along the way, they develop their skills and a bond with one another. The show, which is available on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Plus, highlights LGBTQ+ representation with openly gay contestants vying to be the next Hallmark star.
It should be noted that Traitors received the most Critics Choice Real TV Award nominations with 6 nods, followed by Dancing with the Stars with 4.
Bennett is very familiar to daytime fans having started his career as JR Chandler on All My Children in 2000-2001, before landing the part of Aaron Samuels in the motion picture, Mean Girls in 2004 starring Lindsay Lohan, which would become his breakout performance.

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?
On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.
As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.
Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Daytime Emmy winner, Kelly Thiebaud spoke to Soap Opera Digest, about the story point and getting the opportunity this time back at GH to work with Ryan Paevey, when she hadn’t had the chance to before.
BROTHERLY LOVE?
Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”
With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”
BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE
Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”

I’m still hoping for a baby to result from their New Year’s canoodle session …that would just be the icing on the cake!!!! (Plus what a laugh riot for Julian to explain that one to his new “bestie,” Sonny…..Come to think of it, there could be an entire episode built around the “locker room talk” of those two mafiosos discussing their conquests….especially the ones that they’ve shared! Oh, and how about Sonny impregnating Jerome’s daughter, Sam? LOL…. )

Thanks, Jeremy!!!! I like the “Julivia” tag, too….it’s zingy and cool, which perfectly fits this exciting couple. I really hope there is a further exploration of those two together…..it’s time for Julian to be with a more youthful and appealing, less tortured type…Olivia definitely fills that bill! Furthermore, I’m ready for some mixing-up of other status quo couples…. the usual pairings on GH have become so banal….Patrick and Sam are a good start, although it seems they may be short-lived. I liked Jake and Liz, as well, as her thing with Rick really never worked for me. As for Carly, who in Port Charles has the right stuff to handle her? How about Shawn? If he’s tough enough to be Sonny’s enforcer, he should be able to take on Ms. Jacks! And he’s had combat experience, so that’s a plus for anyone when it comes to dealing with Carly! (I also could have seen her with Julian awhile back….quite frankly, when it comes to Mr. Jerome, I would consider “ABA”….anybody but Alexis…to be preferable!)
hey again, Shay-man, I too, like Jason with Liz, though, I’m torn because for chemistry sake… I’ve always favored the Liz and Rick pairing. For me, Sam and Patrick, I’m still not feeling it…Patrick should play the field. Right now, I think Carly needs to focus on her relationships with her children, Michael and Morgan and the bratty, Josslyn. Besides, Carly had a brief thing with Shawn a few years back. More importantly, I’m intrigued who Ava may be paired up upon her release from prison. Silas, Morgan, again… 🙂

Jeremy….You say you’re not feeling Sam and Patrick…not even today???? I find their pairing to be very easy and natural….although I also liked Ms. Morgan with Silas, too. (KM seems to work well with all of her leading men!)….As for Patrick, as long as they keep him as far away from Sappy as possible, then I’m happy….they were an absolute disaster!!! He was good with Britt—I so miss that girl!—-and initially I was rooting for him to be with Liz after he thought Robin had died. However, I don’t know that he should ever return to his “player” days….still, it will be interesting to see what becomes of him after the expected fallout with Sam and the soon-to-be-revealed Jason. You are so right when you say that Carly should be concentrating on her children, especially since she always acts as though she is “Mother of the Year,” but I simply cannot fathom that woman without a man for very long….perhaps she will rekindle things with Shawn once they kill off Jordan???? Carly needs someone physically imposing enough to keep her in line, instead of the diminutive don or another quirky choice like Franco. To my way of thinking, Shawn could do that in a manner that no one has since Jax. To be candid, I’ve never been a Rick fan, so no matter who he is coupled with I’m not on board….guy just creeps me out!!!! (Sorry about that…LOL)…..And what to do with Silas???? (Perhaps pair him with Anna? They both have a cool, contemporary vibe….) I feel bad that he has lost Sam…they clicked pretty well….yet I’ve never been able to envision him with Ava…even back in the day! (Nor Nina either, for that matter….) And poor Morgan…..if Kiki is indeed leaving town—with KA’s departure—-then I suppose he shall one day reunite with Ava. Since news of the Sloane recast, I don’t know what to think about that character’s romantic possibilities…I like the current “Sloane Ranger,” so I’m not at all enthused about the replacement.

For me, I felt more connection & chemistry with Sam (KM) & Silas (ME). I did watch today’s episode… and, even though Sam & Patrick made love, I’m not sold yet…on this pairing. As a couple, I feel like they are too safe. Yeah, I miss firecracker, Britt, too. As for Carly, I did like her with Shawn years ago during their brief romance, however, gosh…not sure how and what new Sloane will be about, perhaps if new Sloane isn’t into Anna, maybe he can be matched up with Carly?
I love Olivia with Julian! I’m so tired of Alexis giving him the run around! She knows what he does for a living! Give Olivia a chance! She deserves it! Not that it matters Ron Carlivaiti always ruins the great couples! Just look at Robin and Patrick! He’s turned the character into someone the fans don’t know or even like anymore!!!
I think Ron has ruined GH! He’s changed the history of the characters and the show! His s/l are long and drawn out! Oh and so boring! I’d rather GH be canceled then continue going on the way it is! I’ve watched since 7th grade and I don’t care to watch it anymore!!!
Molly, here is some friendly advice…if you dont like GH and dont want to watch anymore, simply turn it off but dont wish for its cancellation…it would put hundreds out of work…plus there are others who enjoy it still…it may be cancelled one day but let some of us be able to watch while we can still can…i know it can be a better show but right now moments still are enjoyable and ill continue to support it and the genre until they are all gone or i croak…ribbit…lol…i can wait for the latter…lol
Your right although I’m unhappy with GH and the writer’s I shouldn’t wish for its cancellation and I don’t want it cancelled! I just want quality writing again and character’s not to have such drastic changes! Btw I don’t watch GH anymore! I stopped watching in November! I hope it improves so I can enjoy it again!
I want the quality writing again too…i see sprinkles of it here and there…the show lacks a good hero and herione team…a team we can cheer for and thats whats missing here…GH is overrun by too many villians!!!
I agree! Anna and the PC Police Dept have been made to look incompetent! Another problem I have! The drastic change in Anna! She’s always been a smart brave intelligent woman! She hasn’t a clue that Robin’s in trouble! The real Anna would’ve known something was up immediately! Also the way Dr O speaks to her! Anna would never let anyone push her around like that! Another complete character change! The writer’s R rewriting the history and the character portrayals! I think they need to go back and watch tapes of the old GH when it was at its best!!!

GH writes its’ couples captivating to entertain me, I like that..
I also like Alexis and Julian, but their love is new and they expect each other. to be loyal to the other. I think at times they are frightened of commitment. I believe that Alexis has been hurt and if Julian was in her life long ago, that the hurt they went through is not the hurt they want to live with again. Olivia is in love with Sonny, Ned and Julian ,give me a break. I like Olivia, but with someone else that loves her and is not using her.

I love Julexis. What I saw that was “magical” was that hot fantasy sequence on Jan. 5! Wow! I really look forward to where their story takes them next! Alexis doesn’t need a cold shower, she’s getting her freak on more than the rest of the town combined b/c it leads to great ratings! Looking forward to that great February Sweeps month!

What you have here are two actors who truly enjoy working together and it translates onscreen. The chemistry between these two is organic and electrifying. The fantasy scenes on the 1/5 were smokin hot and I feel like I’m watching a real life couple. Nothing seems forced when it comes to their scenes. This couple brought me back to GH. I’m looking forward to thier reunion. I hope to see them

Of course living in Canada, I cannot see the whole video, but, I do love Nancy and Will
playing Julian and Alexis. They are a mature couple, but at times his bad side comes out when she hurts him. He is a maverick and a great actor. I also think and have always thought Nancy is a great actress. She has grown so much as an actress to me. Juliexis are well liked in this area of Canada. I just want to be able to get General Hospital/Now. I try and read all of the shows that are put in text online. I just hope I live long enough to see these couple get together. Shirley

Julian and Alexis are lightning in a bottle – captured it electrifies. Nancy and Will have amazing chemistry as actors but you can see from this interview there is a great friendship that underscores it. I love Julexis because they are compelling, messy, sexy, hot and every scene feels like I’m watching a real couple tackle their life together – only with odd story obstacles. You don’t see that very often any longer on soaps. Thank you for the interview!
Great interview! It’s nice to see Wil and Nancy’s playful side. They clearly like working together. As a fan, I enjoy how much they seem to appreciate each other.
These two are great both on screen and off. They smolder and shine! I can’t wait to see what happens next for Julian and Alexis on GH. They have a fun “love conquers all” kind of feel to their relationship. I am excited for their journey.

I came back to GH for Julexis. I’ve loved Nancy Lee Grahn in other pairings but this one is my favorite because there is a maturity to them, and I’m not just talking about age. These characters have lived and lost and weren’t looking for love, but here they are. I also like when a couple comes together and works which TPTB weren’t counting on or pushing for us to like. This is a couple the fans wanted, which is more proof that sometimes the audience really does know best. No doubt, NLG and WdV are great friends and enjoy working together and that’s another thing we see when they’re together on screen. As for when they get together, I can wait. The best is worth waiting for.
I loved this video julexis is thee best soap pairing in a long time I’m excited what’s in store for them.On another note if you don’t like julexis why watch this video or even comment don’t tell me you can’t read. So if you think julian should be paired with Olivia get that outta here if you like them which yes people can like what you like but go post that stuff else where NOT ON a julexis interview peace.
I hadn’t watched soaps in years, then I saw a Julian and Alexis scene last year and I’ve been hooked ever since. Only wish they were on more. And, I’m perplexed that they’re basically ignored by soap mags. Seems strange considering how popular they are. I’m extra grateful to see people like Michael Fairman and Michael Logan showing them a little love. Nancy Lee Grahn and William deVry give great interviews and their onscreen chemistry in undeniable. General Hospital went outside of the box with these two and it paid off. “Julexis” are smart, intense, sexy, and complicated. What’s not to love?

First of all, I love this interview! Nancy and Wil are just so laid back and comfortable with each that it is easily transferred onscreen. Their chemistry on and off screen is out of this world. There has never been any daytime couple that excites me the way they do! They make me feel like I’m watching a real life couple who is going through real life issues. Julexis may be a complicated hot mess but they are a gorgeous complicated hot mess that always brings their “A” game to every scene. They don’t have to be doing anything in a scene to bring the heat. Julexis is “It” for each other!
Should Julian and Alexis go on the run? I say HELL to the YES! Matter of fact, give these two their own sitcom. Julexis equals ratings GOLD! Hell, they’re better than gold. They’re PLATINUM! Julexis is the reason why I started back watching and I give credit to Nancy and Wil for that. They are truly awesome and most amazing actors in Daytime. There’s really no other couple that’s better. I really can’t wait for sweeps. I know it will be awesome.

This was lovely! I started watching General Hospital again because I had been hearing so much about Julian and Alexis from my college friends who watch GH in between classes. NLG and WDV have fantastic chem onscreen and seem like the perfect screen partners offscreen.
I can’t wait to see what happens next with Julian and Alexis, these months that they have been broken up has been TORTURE. I CAN NOT WAIT to see them back together!

A brilliant pairing brought to life by the amazingly talented Nancy Lee Grahn and William deVry. I can’t wait for Julian and Alexis to reunite. They’re sexy as hell, and I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that they’re not 20-somethings. Young love is sweet, but this is so much sexier!!!

I have been a long time GH viewer but was getting a little bored with the show and decided to stop watching back in early 2013. However Nancy and Wil together as Julexis brought me back to GH. They are now the main resaon I watch the show. I am captivated when they are on my screen. They are must see TV for me. They really do remind me of the old soap super couple days. They have incredible chemistry and are not only super hot and sexy but smart, witty, adorable, sweet and romantic. They appeal to all ages which is a rare thing today. The viewers saw something in them and made them into the popular couple they are today. Nancy and Wil always bring their A game. I can’t wait to see what is in store for them in 2015. Along with the angst I want some romance and some fun. I will be watching no matter what they do as long as they are on my screen. I look forward to many years of storyline for my favorite couple..
