Genie Francis Chats On Being Fired From Y&R & If She Would Consider Returning To GH!

When the first round of pink-slips began at The Young and the Restless, it was soap icon, Genie Francis (Genevieve, Y&R) who was let-go first. And that prompted many fans to think that it was going to happen anyway once Jill Farren Phelps took over the helm as executive producer of the number one daytime soap, since Phelps and Francis had reportedly had some issues while they were both at GH.
Now in the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, Francis opens up in an interview about what went down when she found out she was let-g0, why she thinks she was picked to be cut loose, and if now she would ever consider a return to General Hospital to play Laura again! Here are a few excerpts!
Genie on hearing the news that she was let-go from Y&R from Jill Farren Phelps: “I went up to talk to Jill in her office and she was actually very kind. Actually, I think she was mortified. I don’t think she wanted to be put in that position to tell me that. Nobody does. We both said were sorry that we wouldn’t have the chance to work together. There was no blood drawn. (Laughs) T here are no bad feelings. Look, she’ a very accomplished, powerful producer and she couldn’t get there by being petty and bitchy. Her back is to the wall. She had to cut people out because she had to balance her budget, and she had to be true to what is Y&R, and so it’s a hard position to be in. We are friends. She and I go way back to her early 20’s and my teens. So this little bump in the road is not going to undo our friendship.”
Genie on if now she would consider coming back to General Hospital as Laura: “Between you and me, and the rest of the world, I do have a story of something I would like to do on GH that would be reinventing Laura, in a way. They can’t keep doing the walk down memory lane. Some of that is okay, but it can’t be the whole meal. Laura has been out of a catatonic state for years now and that’s sort of a jumping-off point for my story. If Laura was up and around and living in Paris – I think that’s where they left her – then what is that keeps her from coming home? There has to be something because Laura would never not be around her children. If she hasn’t come home, then there’s a reason, so that’s the jumping-off point.”

Yes, please bring back Jaclyn Zeman as Bobbi. I LOVE the character and actress who played her. She was such a big part of the hospital storylines. And Laura can come back too! LOL I miss Genie Franis as well. But I agree with her. They need to take the character of Laura in a new direction.

I remember when laura said that she would be there to hold lulu’s hand when she had her first child so, I think its a perfect time to bring laura spencer back to general hospital. I love watching her be a mom and I want to be like her.
I hope the powers that be at #gh listen to her suggestions and bring her back and use her to the fullest. She’s an amazing actress and human being. I adore her.

the sad thing is that GH’s ratings were lower than OLTL’s when OLTL was cancelled.
Perhaps Ron and Frank are just trying to make everyone happy and at least save on ABC soap. I fully support the blending of OLTL with GH…

Get over it! OLTL is done and gone. Be thankful for the people you’ve got…you could have ended up with nothing. We didn’t get a bunch of AMC actors coming to GH and there are more of them I’d rather see than any other OLTL actors.
I like what John Mc and Todd have brought to the show, but Starr is a total waste of air time, far as I’m concerned. Get rid of her and bring some AMC people in!
The thing that Starr brings is youth and with Todd and Starr there is another family. GH needs to get rid of old blood like Tracy and Monica. Now that is a total waste of airtime!!!!

And you are absolutely right you have to have somebody interested in telling the story the Laura I know would never have left her children Lulu never mentions her mother. I do not see them investing in her character this is still a man oriented soap opera nothing has changed with the OLTL guys who did they give contracts to from OLTL men. The only reason Starr was brought on was for Michael. It drives me nuts. I wish you all the best in the future.
“Genevieve was such an interesting character and there was so much storyline Storyline potential for this character. She was a very flawed character who had a hard side and yet could be quite vulnerable too. Genie has such an amazing range and she did a great job portraying this character. It’s a shame they let an incredible actress go who added so much to YR. I’m really going to miss her on YR and when she leaves I will too! I hope she goes to GH because she is such a great actress and I want her on my screen daily!
I would love to see Genie return to GH, and I think what she said about being in a story of who Laura is now makes a lot of sense. WHY hasn’t Laura returned before now, to support her children? Good question……

Roger Howarth has been a great addition! I look forward to all his scenes and I really like Kristen Alderson too but I think that’s plenty for OLTLcharacters … we have a full canvas on GH of actors not being utilized. Why is Kristina Wagner back? Why doesn’t Leslie Charleson have a storyline? Where is Anthony Geary? Jane Elliot is too damn good to be caring for that jerk Joe Jr — there isn’t even any chemistry there. Luke & Laura have always been my faves!!

Yes ..I only started watching GH again because my stars from my other stars went 2 GH. I had quit watching gh years ago when they took off Luke and Laura .so I’m only back because of Starr and Todd and John
I think she handled this situation well and put it to rest that there is this underlying battle between her and Jill. Budget cuts had to be made to keep Y&R afloat, and Genie Francis is not cheap in the soap world (and saying that – a GH return would sink the soap financially). I’ll miss Genevieve as she adds something to the drama of Genoa City, but she is not core Y&R, which is what Jill has been brought on to make happen again.
As for her return to “General Hospital”, I’d rather it be a short-term return than a full-fledged one. I don’t see a place for Laura on the series, espescially with Lucky gone off of the canvas, as well as Nikolas (neither of whom I want to see back).
All soap actors have to take pay cuts if they want to work in the genre, with Steve Burton leaving and Frank Valentini a master at balancing the budget he very well might find a way to bring her on, whether there is a long term place for her on the show…time will tell.
I have watched Young and the Restless because Genie is on the show, and I would love to see her come back to General Hospital as Laura.
I love her too, wouldnt mind getting back into GH if she was back, but Ive always felt the part to revisit now is Diana on DOOL. Ive always felt she Vs. Deidre hall over Drake would be great. how about DOOL has Kristen bring Diana back to Salem?!? so she could steal john back. . . .leaving Marlena prey for Stefano yet again

I would love to see Genie reprise her role of Diana Colville on Days! Diana’s return would be amazing. Her finding out the Marlena was in fact still alive after the hell Stefeno put her thru on the Island & maybe whem Diana left Salem mysteriously she unknownly pregnant & she could return with John’s first born! That would throw the cat amongst the pigeons now especially with Kristen’s return. Would be a very juicy storyline indeed if written correctly! I would just be happy seeing Genie either on Days or GH. She is far too talented to sit idly by. TPTB need to jump now & give her the role so craves for. Genevieve was fantastic & I really enjoyed watching Genie play a role removed from Laura.
I appreciate everyone’s opinion, however a lot of jumping onto different tracks, First off, Days JUST rehired Eileen Davidson to of course interfere with John and “DOC”…she is a kick as comedic relief too, wait till you see her as Susan Banks if you haven’t you are in for a treat, trust me. Ms. Davidson is hilarious. I do not imagine there is room on the Days canvas for Diana Colville which even then was not a fan fave and I adore Genie. I liked her on YoungRestless, though Geneveive had a lot further to go as for exploring, but sounds like it was money. So that leaves Laura or nothing on Daytime TV. So knowing that, think we Genie Francis fans should hope and pray someone gets her on board and does something with Laura other than codependant nonsense. She too is a powerhouse actress, can sing too, if they would allow it. Anyway, that’s my opinion. Also, hate fans fighting over OLTL cast members on this forum at least. We are indeed lucky we have some reminders. Howarth could win an Emmy acting with a broom. Thanks for listening
I want to see Genie Francis return to General Hospital more than I want to see ANY other character from GH history, or from another show, join the cast! I would love to see a Laura such as she describes with links to her past, but with a new and exciting direction and story. Of course, I will always want that story to include her family – especially her children. And right now, she has a daughter in Port Charles in whose life a revitalized Laura can play a significant role. Mr. Valentini and Mr. Carlivati, please make this much-needed and much-wanted return happen!! With GH approaching its 50th anniversary, with Luke having rediscovered his family values and with Lulu and Dante planning a family, the time is right.
I hope Genie Francis returns before the end of the year. I’d love to see Laura Spencer come home to her family. I loved Luke and Laura and still do. I still hold out for a Luke and Laura reunion…
I believe Genie Francis should come back to GH and the producers need to can stories that are simply not working — hello Trey, Joe Jr, Christina/Kate/Connie. Those folks alone are a complete waste of my hour. GH should get back to characters the audience loves and keep them on the forefront. GH seems to enjoy hiring random actors that no one cares about (ie: the strange girls vying for Patrick). Bring back Genie with a new original storyline!

Yep! at least the actors from OLTL have talent! Still, I would like GH to utilize their fine actors instead of putting them on backburner for actors (I use that term loosely) we have no connection with. Really, where on earth did GH pull Sabrina, Ellie and that Doctor from all in one day?!

This is the 1 million dollar question. Why is Kristina Wagner back? She should have had a short stint, for Maxie’s sake (short) storyline dictated. However, I never saw the use of this character. She was lovely when she was young, and still looks good, but I have always hated her little girl sounding voice, consequently making me feel like I was viewing a child in the role. I also have never been a fan of her acting and hated her pairing opposite Luke/ Anthony Geary. GET RID OF KRISTINA WAGNER.

matriarch things (in the hospital) as the matriarch of the show. Jane Elliot could be doing more in the company business of ELG, and maintaing the Quartermain legacy. There are no Quartermaines but Monica and Tracy. Everyone is dead, either in REAL LIFE or in Soap Opera life, or gone from the show. Then they (the writer’s) need to EITHER explore that storyline, OR do something about it; bring back Alan (it was a dream he died) or find us another Edward Quartermain. John was the 3rd Edward, and he filled he shoes of the 1st Edward (hard shoes to fill ) but he, John did it. Therefore, ” IT ” can be done, again!!!!

We want Genie back, and like She said before, no longer the victim or same old story, same old song… I think it would be kewl if when Edward Quartermaine’s will is finally read, that He leaves HIS shares of ELQ to Laura… After all, both Edward and Lila adored Laura, and wouldn’t it be great to see Laura and Tracey owning equal shares of ELQ??? Laura did work at ELQ as a receptionist during her 1980-81 season b4 all (4 lack of a better word) Hell brook loose in Port Chuck with the Ice Princess statue when I look back it’s hard 2 believe Luke and Robert could not find the Ice Princess but Heather could sneak out of the sanitarium every night 2 spy on all the town folks classic daytime drama written by the Late Great Pat Falken smith she did not write The Ice Princess stuff there was a writers strike but that is a whole another story…..
Genie is a pro, she would never say anything about anothelassr actor or producer derogatory, she is a class act. I wouls enjoy seeing her back on GH just to confound Luke with his divided heart!
Lulu & Dante get pregnant and Laura comes back for the birth or before. She comes back from Paris even though she has a very successful cafe and is quite clear on who she is now. It is the rest of Port Charles that is going to have to keep up
. She is no longer the weeper and although she will always love Luke she doesnt need him anymore.

Love Genie and really loved the character of Genv which in my opinion was a wonderful addition to Y&R. All her scenes with SN,PB,EB,JW etc are of top notch quality and she makes the worst writing seem effortless. I wanted to see her past with Tucker and when she leaves,I’m tuning out as well. I’d love to see her return to GH but I get the feeling she doesn’t necessarily want to have to be paired with Luke. She’s always propping his character and I’m sure she doesn’t want Laura to be weak in chasing him or fighting for him over Tracy/Anna. She wants her own story without Luke having to be center and I don’t blame her. TG has been treated like a queen and she’s been treated like doodoo,yeah I said it. I’d love her to return as Diana on Days,she had wonderful chemistry with Drake and I’ve preferred her pairings with Stephen Nichols and Drake over that of Tony Geary. He seems so much older then her now. She needs a fresh new start,she doesn’t want to go back to the old and who the heck wants to be a prop for their children. Genie deserves alot better then that,bring back Kin Shriner and get Stephen Nichols back and resurrect Stefan Cassadine. Now if you could do that,I’d return as a viewer!
I loved the chemistry that Genie had with Drake!! The romantic comedy that they did was amazing!
I absolutely agree!!! They were really amazing together – dynamic and funny. I heard Genie and Drake worked on their scripts to add some humour to them. I would love to see Diana Colville comming back to Days so much! (I would pray if it would help, lol). I know that the character according to GF wasn’t developed properly but I think they can fix it. And for us as viewers chemistry was and is an even more important aspect, I guess.
BTW, I had the same idea you just said, Diana could bring John’s child with her to Salem.
I’d love it if Genie came back to GH with good story lines like Anna and Tracey, not as a pale self of the lady who went into the asylum. Paris sounds iike a good starting point for her “comeback.”

Genie Francis needs to be back to General Hospital and Laura back to Port Charles… and THEN and only then will it be MY GH again!! I need serious Spencer action on the show to return my interest. The characters that were trashed over the last decade are still getting way too much air time. Time for Cartini to go all Spencers (which includes Webbers), Scorpios (which include jones/Drake) and Q’s in a BIG way!

She is a fine actress, she has no place on Y&R. GH is her home and this is were she belongs. Handled the JFP situation with grace and class. Best of luck to her!
I truly feel that a good story for Laura is for her to come with her secret husband, Scotty and their Child! That would truly be a shocker. Also Laura was always at her impulsive Best with Scotty. Luke made her a Victim frozen in Time.
I would love to see Laura return married to Scotty that would set up a good story plus Kin Shriner is so sexy!!! Laura was always a victim ,with Luke ,and I much rather her be paired ,with Scotty, or anyone besides Luke!!
Laura, Scotty and Lesley need to be back full time. Denise Alexander is one the most powerful actresses ever to grace GH and she and Monica could go back to an adversarial relationship. And I love the idea of Edward leaving HIS shares of ELQ to Laura, that would be great story.
I loved Genie on YR. But if she is to return to GH she needs to strong story with action and suspense. She needs to be mentally sound and in control. And Im sure she doesnt want to play a supporting role to Julie Marie Berman ( Leslie lu) that’s a waste of a talented actress. Genie deserves her own front burner story line. And fans of GH history deserve a true L&L reunion, despite Tony Geary’s reported aversion to that idea.
If they can’t give Genie what she’s due Id prefer that she move on. I dont want see her languishing in the shadow of the One Lifers just playing a dull wife and mother. Snooze. Like you Andrew I grew up watching Genie with Denise Alexander. I concur that Denise is one of the most powerful actresses in daytime history and she and Genie were magic together.
But given Denise’s age I doubt that the brass is interested in revisiting that magic pairing. It’s sad but ageism is part and parcel of the entertainment industry. Look at how poor Leslie Charleson ( Monica ) has been treated over the last 12 yrs. She’s only just now getting some supporting air time. But from what soap columnist Jamie Giddens has said a story line for Monica is out of the question in the network’s mind. The entertainment industry is so full of back stage politics and prejudices. I want Genie to work somewhere she is appreciated . Her fans do appreciate her, but that doesnt necessarily mean that the networks execs do. I want whats best for Genie whether that takes her back to GH or elsewhere. She comes first in my heart, even before her fictional character,
It bothers me when people call General Hospital Genie’s home. Yes she grew up before our eyes on that show starting at the age of 14.
But many are completely unaware of the many behind the scenes struggles she faced. She developed a cocaine addiction at 18 because of the early fame. She was forced back onto the show by the ABC brass despite her troubles because they wanted the ratings. She was humiliated and lambasted about her post pregnancy weight gain by the Guza/Phelps regime. She was denied vacation to celebrate her wedding anniversary also by the GH brass. ( Tony Geary gets 2 ten week vacations per yr btw). She was shut out of enemy nominations reportedly because of jealousy in the cast over the years also. So despite the fact that we think of GH as Genie’s home the environment there has been anything but home like for her at times. Just saying.

Years ago when Genie joined AMC at the emmy awards Walt Wiley who played Jack Montgomery welcomed her back to daytime TV. That man is a class act why is he not back on daytime?

Yes it is true and ABC always held her honesty against her and as far as the weight gain I saw two actresses yesterday on GH who will remain nameless let’s just say their dresses were not very flattering they are not a size 2 either.
Well said!! Cocaine addiction, alcohol problems as well. She grew up in front of our eyes! Forced to quit school & work extremely long hrs. Genie was treated poorly at GH! They were only after ratings. The lack of peer support is extremely evident. Yes there were issues if jealousy at YR as well! She had the same issue at Days with one actress as well. Sacked from AMC because she was more valuable to ABC @ GH then that disgusting move from JFP because if her post preg weight!! Genie is an amazing actress where ever she acts! Her ability to draw u into her scenes whether happy or sad! I remember watching a scene when she was on Days. Her on screen father had just passed away. 8mths prior to that her father had passed away from complications from heart attacks. Her emotions were so raw u had no choice but to cry along with her! U felt her pain of loss & her realization that she wouldn’t get a chance to spend time with her father. Genie is a class act! She never speaks ill of anyone! And for that I admire her.

I would love to see Genie come back to GH and maybe bring one of her sons back with her. The family dynamic would be a fabulous addition to the newly revitalized GH. The Spencers are one of the core families on my beloved soap and the storyline possibilites are endless!

I recall many years ago, Laura was head of some kind of fashion cloths line, or Make up line. I am sure she could take over Kate’s Magazine until Kate is back on her feet, and then they could go into partnership. In the mean time, all the other sturn und drung could go on as usual. THAT’S what makes soap operas. Listen up ABC/Disney the fans KNOW what they want. THEY WANT THEIR SOAPS BACK!!! And their favorite stars. For what it has cost you with The Revulsion, The Chew, Anderson, and Katie Curic, you could have brought back the soaps you took off and added one or two new ones. WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GET THE MESSAGE!!!!
Genevieve doesn’t have a deep connection to any characters on Y&R,not even Cane.
It might have been interesting to see what was developing with the “Samantha” storyline but that looks to be scrapped with Genie exiting Y&R.
It would be interesting to see her back on GH as Laura – but Genie herself said in an interview on Oprah a few years back that she did not want to play Laura as a “victim” anymore and who could blame her.
People have to evolve and change over time when things happen to them….it would be interesting to see what Laura has been up to since leaving Port Charles and seeing Scott Baldwin on the plane bound for Paris.

LOL! See this is where social media fails us. We’ll read and comment on anything these days, even on an article about a woman playing a character that you didn’t like on “your” show. I know, I know… you couldn’t help yourself. Neither could I.
Laura should come back to GH, but only if she truly has a story of her own and it’s not just an ongoing trip down memory lane. She needs to come back as her own independent woman. She ran her own company back in the day. Maybe she should be the new editor of Crimson or become the hospital Administrator.
But pleeeeze…don’t bring her back for Luke!
I love Genie Frances. I love and adore her. She is so real and down to earth. She also is truth telling and I appreciate her honesty about the FACTS in situaltions of the past. I would love to see Genie back as Laura and be reunited with Luke, and get (Johnathn Jackson) back as Lucky, along with Lulu. We need to see them as a family on the show, before anything happens to the show, or one of them, God forbid.
Genie, I hope your idea for Laura finds its way to GH and our televison screen.
Fictional couple Luke Spencer and Laura Webber are CREDITED with defining the term supercouple.
Yahoo! TV stated that “…Vanessa Marcil’s coupling with Benard, gave ‘GH’ its first legitimate heir to the ‘Luke and Laura’ throne of soap coupledom”.
The article argued that this type of supercouple “… has not been seen on daytime television in some time — if EVER “, and that, “along with the return of Luke and Laura after a decade-long absence”, it created a “second golden age” for soaps as “the daytime appointment television”.[55]
Probably due to the way the character of Laura was written in later years, I was ho-hum about Genie Francis on GH, though I enjoyed the young Laura. I have to say that I came to truly appreciate her after seeing her on Y&R. Genvieve was a complex character and GF brought out so many facets of her. Her facial expressions alone conveyed more than some actors could do with a 15 minute speech. If they were to bring Laura back they need to do so with major story and one that does not involve Luke. They need to acknowledge that the characters no longer work together and build stories for them without bringing them together.
TPTB will regret letting GF go from Y&R. If they insist on keeping the coma inducing duo of Cane & Lily at least Genvieve had ties to them as well as her history with Tucker, Jack & Victor.
I agree Chaz, Genevieve is a lot more interesting than Cane and Lily. They should have gotten rid of those two and kept Genevieve! Genie has such range and can relay so much through her facial expressions ! She draws the audience into a scene because her acting is so natural. I can’t believe YR let this great talent go!! Well, it’s YR loss !!
Sorry she will no longer be on Y & R. She needs to come back to GH where she has always belonged but needs a good storyline to go with it! The new team of Writers and the New director and producer can come up with a very good story and make it work!
Bring back Laura Spencer with a daughter would be interesting ( the new Maxie gal) reminded me of Laura in the 80’s .. but when Laura leaves the show take Luke (Tony Geary) his story are such a waste. Love OLTL characters/merging with GH makes it more exciting.. The last yr of AMC was boring.. I had a feeling it would’ve been cancelled before it happened.. One of AMC valuable actor is Hayward, he would fit in perfect.
I really really liked Genie Francis at Y&R. She is a wonderful actress. They could have done so much with her. I think I would have let go two actors if it meant keeping Genie Francis. I think I am about to give up on the soaps. After losing my AMC, I have tried so hard to find a soap I like. Bold and Beautiful is just stupid and silly. The Hope , Steffy, Liam triangle is ridiculous. The only thing that Days has going for it is EJ so I expect him to get fired any day now. Every time I try to watch GH, there is a gun pointed at someone. So, I was left with Y&R . Now they are getting rid of Genie Francis who was one of best actors they have. I am watching AMC repeats on soap net. What a sad day for soap operas !

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Serena Sets Her Sights on Michael; Jason’s Emotional Exit from the Mob
This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”
Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.
Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.
Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.
Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 7
Josslyn is taken aback. Ava courts a new ally. Jordan and Anna catch up. Isaiah vents to Lucas and Elizabeth. Michael questions Jacinda.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80
Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.
PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
