Reeling from Luke’s disappearance, Ethan confides in Kristina – to her delight. He decides to seek out Maya, but discovers her in bed with another man. Brenda presses Sonny to turn the business over to Jason, but Sonny explains why that cannot happen. Brenda tries to accept, and they make love. Having incited Shawn to hit him, Jax vows to use his volatile behavior against Carly. Shawn comes clean to Carly about his secret while serving in the military. Jason worries he will cost Carly her custody of Josslyn and wonders if he should quit the mob for the sake of his loved ones. Lulu erupts at Lucky, throwing all the 12-step jargon in his face – and she starts drinking. Realizing he can’t force his father, Lucky decides to track down Luke. Siobhan joins Lucky in his search as Dante comforts Lulu at the Haunted Star. Devastated by Maya’s “affair,” Ethan returns home determined to get a divorce in the Dominican Republic. Jason gets called to investigate a shipment that has been blown up by Anthony. Dante and Lulu make love, and we see Lulu get some perspective on her father’s addiction despite struggling with codependency. Lucky realizes where Luke has gone – the Bordello he grew up in. Lucky and Siobhan take off to find him. Jason and Sam discuss whether he should leave the mob – especially if they plan on having children together. Sam maintains that quitting the mob will not bring Jake back. Spinelli and Maxie share a sentimental cross at Jake’s with Patrick and Robin, but Matt ends up saving the day when Maxie starts to choke on her drink.

While Jason convinces Michael it is a bad time to join the mob, Anthony sets his sight on getting Abby to work for him. He wants war with Sonny. Liz’s grief is triggered when she sees Robin and Patrick with Emma. Robin and Patrick make efforts to safeguard their lives. Matt helps out at Crimson, to Maxie’s delight. Spinelli daydreams of being a gumshoe. Hung-over Ethan’s day goes from bad to worse when Kristina settles in next to him on the plane, announcing she is going to the DR with him as a witness to his divorce. Later, they are forced to share a room as Alexis and Sonny jump to conclusions when Molly tells them of Kristina’s trip. Sonny, Carly and Alexis make plans to celebrate Michael and Kristina’s high school graduation. Meanwhile, Michael is taken aback about his own career decisions when Abby admits she is considering Anthony’s job offer. Later, Michael discovers he was accepted to PCU, but he never applied. Steve takes on the difficult task of packing up Jake’s things with Olivia’s help. Liz arrives home and flies into a rage. Later, Liz crumbles when she realizes she is acting irrationally. Johnny lies to Patrick and Robin. Meanwhile, Anthony subtly goads Lisa into vowing vengeance.

As Ethan and Kristina enjoy downtime in the DR, Alexis and Sonny fly to find them. When they get there they rush into the judge’s chambers, ready to object to their “wedding.” Dante challenges Jason about the example he is setting for Michael. Later, Lulu gets testy with Jason over Luke, and Maxie sympathizes with Jason. Lucky confronts Luke, ensconced in the old family Bordello. Meanwhile, Maxie tries to help Lulu see reason.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Elizabeth and Jason Have a Heart-to-Heart; Is a Liason Reunion Possible?

Have Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) 2.0 finally gone kaput? It would seem so. On Monday’s June 10th episode of General Hospital, it looks like the two now have what could be an insurmountable rift. Finn is drinking and can’t stop. Liz finds him with another woman drunk in his apartment, and can’t put herself in another relationship with someone who has an addiction (Remember, Lucky?).

Who should save Liz from an uncomfortable situation with Finn, but none other than Jason (Steve Burton). He comes upon on the scene where Finn is grabbing Liz’s hand to not leave him, but she insists it’s over between them.

Finn has hit his lowest point.  He has continued to spiral downward since the death of his father, Gregory.  Jason brings Liz to the Metro Court pool, which is closed at this time.

She admits to Jason, she wasn’t ready to go home and answer questions from her kids. A somber Jason says that she deserves better than what Finn is giving to her right now, and Liz feels so do her kids. They dip their feet in the pool. Liz jokes she can’t believe she got thee Jason Morgan to take off his shoes. He coyly asks her not to tell anyone.

Liz says she wants to support Finn through his grief, but Jason says Finn is pushing her away. She asks Jason how he knew to find her at Finn’s. That’s when he reveals, their son, Jake was worried about her, so it was Jake who reached out to him.

Next, Liz thanks Jason for being here for him, listening to her and extolling some advice.  Jason says he knows he is no place to be giving advice because he left her and Sam to raise his sons all on their own.

However, Liz points out it’s not because he didn’t want to be there. On that note, she’s pretty sure he wasn’t on vacation all the years he was away from his children. Jason says he’s here now and he will do whatever he can to make things up to Jake. Liz says just showing up to help her will go a long way with Jake, as it also goes along way with her.

You can watch the heartfelt scenes between Rebecca Herbst and Steve Burton below. Liason has been trending this evening on X.  Should GH consider putting Elizabeth and Jason back together? Weigh-in via the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Gregory’s Loved Ones Gather to Say Goodbye

On the Wednesday, June 7th episode of General Hospital, it was time for Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) memorial, which as Gregory wanted would be having his ashes spread with his loved ones in attendance.

The memorial service was held at the park bench in which he used to sit and read to Violet (Jophielle Love), which now has a plaque with his name imprinted on it.

Chase (Josh Swickard) was put in charge of the gathering, by his late father. In very well-written scenes, each of the man’s loved ones and friends extolled words of wisdom they learned from him that will forever remain with them and in their hearts.

Finn (Michael Easton) shares how much his dad, who was suffering from ALS, loved this spot and that when the climb up the hill became too much, he insisted he could make it on his own. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) speaks to what a good man that Gregory was. Violet reads a poem.

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) opens up about how ALS is a devastating disease that takes resolve to handle, and Gregory had a lot of resolve. He made her aware of the limitations she put on her own life. She admits Gregory got her to jump out of a plane with him and that the two passionately kissed, which surprised everyone in attendance.

Tracy (Jane Elliot) talks with sadness about Gregory being a missed opportunity, and if she had known him sooner, longer and better, who knows what might have been. In the moral to her time with Gregory, Tracy expressed, “If an opportunity doesn’t present itself, make one. Contrary to conventional wisdom, you can miss what you didn’t have.”

Chase spoke last and says his dad taught him to find something remarkable in every person you meet. Next, Chase begins to scatter Gregory’s ashes around the tree, and then hands the container to Finn, so he can spread the last part of the ashes.

Afterwards, Tracy hosts a reception at the Metro Court. She and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) share a shot for Gregory. Alexis tells Finn, she is heading to an AA meeting, but first they discuss the kiss with his dad. Elizabeth and her boys make their exit, and then Chase goes looking for Finn and finds him at the bar. What he sees upsets him, as Finn is knocking back shots one after the other.

What did you think about Gregory’s memorial service? Did you reach for the hankies? What do you think will happen next to Finn now that he is continuing to drink? Comment below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Alexis Mourns Gregory Then Has a Showdown With Ava

On the Wednesday, May 29th episode of General Hospital, Alexis was having quite the emotional and trying day played to perfection by two-time Daytime Emmy winner, Nancy Lee Grahn.

In story, Finn (Michael Easton) stops by to see Alexis, who is reeling from the news of Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison) death. Wanting to talk about Gregory and to be there for Finn, Alexis listens to what happened when Finn found Gregory passed away in his bed. He then admits he drank a third of a bottle of bourbon sent as a gift from the Cerullos as part of Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) nuptial celebration.

Alexis says it makes sense that he drank, as he just went through a tragic loss and so he had a reason to break his sobriety. He says it doesn’t excuse what he did. Alexis tries to help Finn forgive himself. He knows she suffered a loss and is mourning Gregory, too.  She admits she wanted to drink, but she has not had one. She thinks it might be a two-a-day meeting kind of thing for them for a while. Finn says, he won’t drink again. She says, “For now.” They remain there for each other through their struggles.

Later, Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) comes by and Alexis apologizes to her for not being able to attend the reading of Gregory’s will, but she has a feeling he made her literary executor. Diane sort of confirms it. Alexis says she on her way to visit Ava (Maura West).  She regrets now, not being at Chase and Brook Lynn’s wedding, as she never thought that would be Gregory’s last day on earth.

Armed with what Fergus Bryne (Lane Davies) told her, Alexis heads to Ava’s gallery and accuses Ava of hiring Fergus to get her disbarred. Ava smugly admits she was very happy to watch her life implode after what she did to her late brother, Julian and how she threw him away.

At that point, Ava clearly tells Alexis she blames her for Julian’s death and that Alexis committed perjury and she has no one else to blame but herself. Alexis fires back that Ava will regret filing that complaint that helped get her disbarred.

It seems like more and more people have a reason to be angry and want payback against Ava? Could it be that Ava will be murdered? Are the rumors floating around that Maura West could be exiting the show possibly true, or is this all just a tease? What did you think of Nancy Lee Grahn’s performance in this episode? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below.
