GH's Carolyn Hennesy new book coming in January!

Layout 1Where does fan favorite, Carolyn Hennesy find time to do her role on GH as legal eagle, Diane Miller, guest-star on ABC’s primetime comedy Cougar Town as the ultimate maneater, Barb, and write a successful series of children’s books based on Greek Mythology?  Who knows and who cares, because she does it all with perfection!

Coming in January her latest book is about to hit the shelves and here is the lowdown! Pandora Gets Heart— the 4th book in the popular “Pandora” series for tween girls — will be on shelves nationwide on January 5, 2010.  In this installment, Pandora and her friends Alcie, Iole, and Homer are practically evil-hunting experts.  Jealousy, Vanity and Laziness are all safely in the box and they already know lust is lurking on Mount Pelion, so this fourth task should be super easy.  Just one teeny-tiny problem: the evil is hiding at a wedding that took place 1300 years ago.  Luckily the messenger god, Hermes, helps Pandy and her friends travel back in time – with a warning: don’t change anything. At the wedding, they recognize most of the gods and goddesses, but nobody recognizes them. (Duh, they haven’t been born yet.) When Lust appears in the middle of a fateful argument between three of the most powerful goddesses, Pandy knows she can’t capture the evil without making a big scene.  And worse, if she’s not careful, she won’t just change the course of history – she’ll be history.  Yup, this quest is perfectly under control… gulp!

So look for ‘Pandy’s  little ole heart” in a bookstore near you!

OLTL Favorite Susan Batten to Guest-Star on General Hospital

A very familiar face to the town of Llanview and the beloved One Life to Live, will be appearing on your screens this week on General Hospital.

Susan Batten (Ex-Luna Moody, OLTL) will make a few guest appearances in scenes with Sasha played by Sofia Mattsson.

According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstand now, Batten will play the role of home shopping-star Flora Gardens!

Batten former boss, Frank Valentini (executive producer, GH) called Susan and said about the role: , “Okay, there’s this character named Flora Gardens.”  To which Susan responded, “Does she have teeth?”   After the two shared a laugh, Susan said “yes’ to the role.

OLTL fans will remember Luna’s torrid relationship with Max Holden (James DePaiva).

The actress/writer/producer reported that she was a ‘still very nervous’ acting on soap again (she last appeared on One Life in 2012), but said once she got into the rhythm of the shooting and delivering the lines it was all good.

So, looking forward to seeing Susan on GH? Comment below. But first, take a moment to stroll down memory lane in this clip from OLTL, when Max proposes to Luna.
