Jack Wagner Back To General Hospital And Already Taping Scenes!

On-Air On-Soaps was dissecting pieces of a puzzle that started back on January 1oth when soap favorite, Jack Wagner tweeted a few statements that consisted of: “Going 2 bed early…Big Day 2moro.” Then on Friday he tweeted, “Caught up with an Old Friend of Ours 2day” Later, he was tweeting about former wife and on-screen co-star Kristina Wagner’s new documentary project. A source was telling us that they think Jack Wagner was already back at GH secretly taping some scenes for perhaps a handful of episodes.
Now comes word today via TV Guide that it looks to be true! The outlet is reporting that,”Wagner had already struck a deal and he’s already on the set secretly shooting.” Wagner, who played GH cop turned spy Frisco Jones, during the ’80s and ’90s, heyday of GH, and was last seen in 1995.
TVG also mentions that Antonio Sabato Jr had taken a meeting with GH, and that so many of the big names of GH are coming back back that John Stamos, Demi Moore, and Richard Dean Anderson are three enticing holdouts. Wonder if those three would even consider a return?
So soapers, what do you think of Jack’s secret return? Who else do you think should absolutely be part of the returns for the big-50? Let us know!

‘General Hospital’s’ Dominic Zamprogna Shares He Was ‘Happy to Hear’ of The Triangle Storyline Developing Between Dante/Elizabeth/Ric

General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) opened up about the burgeoning love triangle forming between his Port Charles alter-go, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) after recently aired scenes, plus his hopes for the future of a Dante and Liz pairing, during his appearance on the Sunday, April 23 edition of the That’s Awesome podcast with Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli).
On last week’s episodes of GH, Ric has made the decision that he wanted to propose to his ex-wife, only when he showed up at Elizabeth’s front door, he misread the scenario he walked in with Liz tending to Dante’s injured leg from the softball game. From there, the legal eagle’s jealous streak is reemerging which may cause him to act out and do something unforgivable, or will he take the high road? Stay tuned.
Speaking with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson about where Elizabeth stands in the annals of the long-running soap, Zamprogna said, “She’s up there with Steve and Maurice (Maurice Benard) as one of the most legacy-filled people on the show.”

HOW DANTE AND ELIZABETH CAME ABOUT
Dominic jokes it’s a far cry for where Dante and Elizabeth previously, recalling, “We had some scenes together years ago and we were both laughing. Becky’s like, ‘Well, I guess we’re not going be paired up anytime soon.’ I remember we laughed immediately after they yelled ‘cut,”‘and said to each other, ‘Well, so much for that!'”
Fast-forward to early 2025 and as Zamprogna remembered it, “Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) came up to me at the General Hospital Christmas party, and I think it was a year and a half ago and she said, ‘We’re going to have you in scenes with Elizabeth,’ My internal monologue is going, ‘I’m not with Lulu (Alexa Havins) anymore and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) gone, so maybe they want to see if this works.’ I didn’t want to get scenes with Becky and try to find the chemistry. I just wanted to play whatever honestly was written and came across for both of us and hope it was what people liked, and I don’t know if it is … or not.”
Knowing how beloved Elizabeth is to the GH faithfuls, Zamprogna added, “She got a big fan base with Ric … and a big fan base with with Jason … and you know, you’re going to piss somebody off. But, didn’t Ric drug Elizabeth and put Carly in a panic room?”

DANTE AND ELIZABETH PAIRING COULD STIR UP STORY FOR OTHERS IN PORT CHARLES
In closing, Dominic felt that the wide-reaching tentacles of a Dante and Elizabeth relationship is something he is 100% down for. “The triangle thing; I was happy to hear it was with Ric and her, because I felt it’s important to have her the top of it as opposed to Dante, Lulu and Elizabeth.”
Zamprogna added, “When you get into relationships on a soap, things seem to fizzle out a little bit, The buildup is what’s the fun part, and the getting to know each other, and the people who are affected by this coming together. When with this case it’s going to affect: Ric, Sonny, Lulu. There’s so much more story here. To me, it’s going to be a fun story to play.”
You can check out Dominic’s visit to That’s Awesome with Steve and Bradford below.
Now weigh-in: Are you rooting for Dante and Liz, or Dante and Ric at this juncture of the story, or neither guy for Elizabeth? Let us know your thoughts and picks via the comment section.

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)

At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.
However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.
Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG
Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!
Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”
MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL
Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).
Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY
Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”
It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”
A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS
As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”
He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”
Take note! If there are any investment bankers or private equity folks among the GH faithful looking for a young analyst next year, Patrick’s DMs are open. You can find him on X at @PatrickJGibbons.”
So, what did you think of the song sung by Trina on today’s GH that was written by Patrick J. Gibbons? Did you enjoy Patrick’s performances as One Life’s Sam and GH’s Wyatt? Would you like to see him back on GH at some point? Let us know via the comment section.

‘General Hospital’ Alum Chad Duell Admits That He Didn’t Expect the Role of Michael Corinthos to be Recast, and Would Consider Working on Another Soap (Exclusive)

Chad Duell, the Daytime Emmy-winning actor, who stepped away from the pivotal role of Michael Corinthos on General Hospital, opened up about: his previous decision to leave the series after nearly 15 years, where’s he’s at now after time away from the demands of a daytime soap opera, and took a stroll down memory lane with some of Michael’s most-acclaimed storyline during his run, during a livestream chat on August 19 on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel.
Viewers last saw Duell on-screen as Michael in January of 2025, and with his successor in the role, Rory Gibson making his debut at the GH Nurses’ Ball in episodes that aired later in May. It was clear that during the conversation, Chad was a bit surprised that the GH brass decided to recast him when he thought he was just taking some much needed time off.
Burn-out of the daily grind of being on a soap was definitely a part of Chad’s decision to take a break. Duell explained “People know when you’re doing something for so long or your character is kind of in the same place for so long or doing the same stuff over and over again, you do get a a little burnt out, you get a little stiff, stale, a little stiff at times. I didn’t want that to be any sort of lasting impression. I have 15 years of a body of work of I’ve done on that show, which is fantastic.”

WHILE CHAD WAS AWAY GH RECAST MICHAEL CORINTHOS WITH RORY GIBSON
Chad shared, his mindset when leaving GH was, “I’m taking some time away, we’ll see what happens.” Then he added, “Obviously, they decided to go in a different direction with Michael when I was gone. I didn’t think they were going to bring somebody back in my place. But you know, it’s the business. You never know what can happen.”
Duell also shared he has not watched a single episode of General Hospital since he left the series, but now feels he reenergized following the loss of his father and stepping away from the GH, “I’m in a place now mentally, where I’m ready to sink my teeth into it again.”

Courtesy/ABC
Even though he is no longer Michael on GH, Chad was very happy with his final storyline where Michael was set on fire when a bomb exploded at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse. “It was fun to put him in a dangerous situation, because I was wanting Michael to be in something scary instead of trying to be a hero character or just things happening around him, but to be the center point of tragedy happening to him. (I always saw) Michael as the heart of the (Corinthos) family.”
When Michael was badly burned the show chose not burn his face, which normally a soap does when they are recasting role and switching actors. Chad weighed-in, “They didn’t burn my face because I told Frank Valentini (EP, GH) I’m willing to come back. It was just a little bit of a break. So, I assumed that if they would have burned my face, they could have brought somebody back looking different than me… if that’s what their plan was.”

MEMORABLE MICHAEL STORYLINES
One of Chad’s most memorable performances was the in the storyline of Michael’s rape while he was sentenced to prison in 2010 and the confession of it in 2011. “It was so well-written and I was very nervous,” recalled Chad. “When I get really nervous about something, it ends up being really good when I do it, because it just means I care a lot about it”
“I have to put a lot of effort and work into it, and I really want it to be good. I was working with Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) and Steve Burton (Jason) a lot during those scenes, and Laura Wright (Carly). It was great working with Steve and Dominic, especially, during that storyline.
A NEW SOAP ROLE FOR CHAD?
As to a future soap opera role, Chad is open to the idea and would love to jump back in to a juicy role, “I know people over at The Bold and the Beautiful, and The Young and the Restless. They know that if they’re interested, I would love to come in for a screen test or something, and they can see what I’m doing.”
Meanwhile, Chad has been busy putting out new music under the moniker Duelly and during the interview he explains how he creates his EDM tracks and much more. You can stream his latest single, Static in the Quiet Room on Spotify, Apple Music and You Tube Music.
You can check out the full conversation with Chad Duell below.
Now let us know: what show would you like to see Chad cast on down the line? BTG, DAYS, B&B, Y&R, or a new role on GH? What did you think of his thoughts on the casting switch while he was away in the role of Michael? What was your favorite Michael storyline during Chad’s 15-year run on the ABC soap opera? Miss him on B&B. Glad to see others appreciate him.
It’s Great!!! Love to see Frisco again and have Maxie have both of her parents there!!! Soon they will be grandparentsand hopefully it will be SPIXIE time!
I didn’t know Frisco was Maxies’ father.
ie: the Spixie storyline….. SpinELLIE/ellie/Maxie. i have to agree.. with a post i read… that when you can’t agree with whom He should be in… ie: true TRIANGLE …… spinelli and maxie…. or spinelli and Ellie….
this has been spot on…. LOVE…. and he’s doing such a good job… with both of his gals/Ladies…. it’s endearing…. touching… and both of them…. Maxie and Ellie deserve LOVE.
for a newbie… I have to give props to Ellie…. she’s caught on… at least with me, anyway. it’s a treat and fun to watch Spinelli have something all his own…. you know… no family…. or siblings… now he’s got two of them….
aside from… and I WILL WAIT… for KM… Robin to come back and re-unite with Patrick…. the greatest and best love story….
watching Maxie and Spinelli, w/ellie…. comes pretty close to ….
I am looking forward to Frisco Jones coming home to Port Charles and reuniting with his daughter, Maxie. I want to see some Father/Daughter scenes where Maxie gets into his face for being an absentee Dad. Also seeing Felecia’s face when he shows up in Port Charles.
John Stamos would be a dream come true!
and I’d love to see Richard Dean Anderson! I watched him for years on Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, but always saw him and thought – of General Hospital and his crazy wife Heather!
he was funny on abc’s Young Doctor’s in Love movie too.
It great that Frisco is back. We will have to see how Maxi reacts to his arrival.
I’ve made my thoughts on all this casting nonsense…..I mean, news…..clear. Bait, hook and catch. After April 1st, where will they all go and what will it all mean? You want to have faith and be optimistic? Gesundheit. Me, I subscribe to the philosophy that sometimes too much is not a good thing. And I am not confident each of these returns will be met with satisfaction, or the ignoring of other characters will appeal to fans either. Just do good work with what you have, and then bring on the big names. Don’t use familiar and beloved faces to cover up mediocre work.
I’m thinking most of them will just be around for the Nurse’s Ball (50th anniversary)…
Agreed… I am certain they are bringing back as many of the character from the past to celebrate the 50th anniversary. That’s a smart thing to do to celebrate the show and all of it’s years and all of it’s great characters and talented actors and actreses. Yes… it’s too bad we can’t have them stay longer but we get them back for some time that we wouldn’t have gotten before. The talent gets to work and in this economy and with what is happening to the genre… a very good thing! I am loving it! Writing for short stints and massively complex storylines is hard to do and I think they are doing a fabulous job with it!
I don’t think of it as casting mumbo jumbo… I know their 50th anniversary is coming up and they’re building up to the Nurses Ball as well, so I love they’re trying to get as many old faces to come back! How long have we wanted those people to come back… and now it’s just so fun that hey, they’re doing what they can to make this a special year for longtime fans and for General Hospital!
now if only Richard Simmons could get an exercise class going for the GH staff to get in shape for their Nurses Ball performances! 😀
Now that would be perfect to see Richard Simmons
OMG! I’m loving this so much. Please keep the good news coming.
Sound like good news to me!
Exciting! Brings back the “good old days”. Weeeee!
Yes…..Jagger Cates…….please!
….. ooooh Decker Moss! I remember him too! 😀
Well speaking of Jagger Cates… this weekend was cold and pouring rain, so I dug out some old VHS tapes – unlabeled of course – to see what was on them. Watched a lot of old StarTrek TNG and then oh, surprise, surprise! An old episode of GH…. from 19 years ago!
It was Karen and Jagger’s impromptu wedding at Kelly’s – in attendance were Monica, Alan and Jason Quartermaine (long before his accident), Tony & Bobbi and Bobbi’s Aunt Ruby, Sean and Tiffany, Lois and Brenda and Miguel, Jagger’s siblings – Stone and Gia, Mac and Felicia and Robin, and Audrey and Steve Hardy.. little Maxie was in the hospital and Kevin (or was it Ryan) was watching her while Felicia was at the wedding. wow, that was fun to see!
it’s absolutely tremendous news that Frisco and Felicia fans have waited for for 18 years. Just to see them interact on screen together again will have been worth the wait. About time!
RDA? Heck, yes! I would love to see Liz/RH have scenes with her onscreen Daddy as played decades ago by Richard Dean Anderson. It is time for Dr. Jeff Webber to come home, even for just a few short scenes with his youngest daughter.
Well, if he’s back, hope it’s a longer stint and gets some airtime, not just sitting in the background like Tristan Rogers & Kristina Malandro. Even Ian Buchanan seems to be bumbling around. I was also excited when Rick Springfield came back but then he was gone. So, not a huge fan of bringing fan favorites back for a minute….. leave them gone if they’re not going to be utilized properly. Bloated cast.
Oh Ces, live a little. BTW, Kristina has done away with Malandro about 20 years ago! What if most of the returnee’s don’t want a contract? Isn’t it nice that the show is paying tribute to it’s legacy characters and showcasing them? Sharing scenes again? Wouldn’t that be FUN? For once? GH had been so dark the past decade that most of its legacy characters were killed off or so horribly written, they should have been bumped off. Rick Springfield is more into his music anyway so he couldn’t devote more time even if GH wanted him to. At least GH keeps his character in Patricks life. Well, your not going to enjoy GH now, then move over because judging by the ratings, we are coming back in droves.
I didn’t say I wasn’t enjoying the show. I love the show actually!! I just don’t think these short stints are necessary for ratings. I do love seeing these actors return, but not if they don’t plan on sticking around. Take for instance Kimberly McCullough, she can’t commit to the show and yet Patrick is still idle. Even if he’s moving on, he really can’t, because fans now know that Robin is alive. Sometimes the past is best left in the past. The show has a lot going for it right now regardless!
Anna being back full time has been the Best we have seen her since 1991! She has returned many times but as cartoon. I am sure some will end up being a contract down the line
Yes, I agree with that! Love Finola Hughes and I’m glad she IS back full-time! 🙂 Wish Tristan Rogers would get a contract!
Agreed!!! We can only hope that Anna/Finola is there for a long time! She’s AWESOME!
I love Anna. I hope we get to see her interact with Frisco. Maybe they can team up and rescue Robin, since Robert is in a coma, and isn’t able to tell anyone that Robin is alive..
OH MY Goodness!!!!!!!!! I’m about to pass out! Frank Valentini is THE MAN! How anyone could think he and Ron don’t appreciate GH history is beyond me. Every actor/actress who meets with him are so impressed by both his excitement for the show and his story ideas….well…except for Steve…um…er….whatshisname. In any event, we will have Frisco & Felicia back and sharing scenes with Duke & Anna and maybe an awake Robert. Also add in Luke & Laura! Scotty & Lucy & Kevin! Now Jagger is a possibility….I’m seriously having heart palpitations. I’ve heard nothing from Vanessa Marcil and she LOVES GH so it should be interesting if she is back. Since Kin Shriner is back, he’s best buds with John Stamos so that may work out. Demi Moore and RDA, I don’t know. Thank you Frank and Ron for caring so much. Either ABC gave them more money or Frank is one heck of budgeter!
Blackie needs to get out of jail and visit Port Charles! That would be awesome.
Bring back Bobbie and Audra Hardy (is the actress still alive?) I know Jackie has new lips like Leslie does, but what the hey! Luke needs his sister. How about Scotty’s mother. Just bring back some of the faces from the Glory (or is it Gloria (Monty) Days!
Yes! Bobbie and Audry Hardy!
Sean Donnelly and Tiffany Hill
Yes! And Bobbie and Audry.
oooh yeah – Sean and Tif!
How about Tiffany?
Bring Robbin back and Nicholas and Lukes bartender son, can’t think of his name, and of course Lucky , all the oldies except Heather,( enough of her antics ). Make Maxi tell the truth.
I’m so looking forward to the return of the GH alumni. Since the original family was the Hardy’s, I truly think members of that family should be seen. That would mean the return (even if only for a guest appearances) of Rachel Ames (Audrey Hardy), Matthew Ashford (Tom Hardy), Richard Dean Anderson (Jeff Webber) and Scott Reeves (Steve Webber).
Genie Francis is returning. It would be so nice to see other members of the Spenser family. Luke and Laura’s sons: Tyler Christopher (Nikolas), Jonathan Jackson (Lucky) and Nathan Parsons (Ethan), Denise Alexander (Leslie Webber, Laura’s mom) and Jackie Zeman (Luke’s sister Bobbi).
The Nurse’s Ball is returning because of the efforts of Sabrina Santiago among others. Sabrina’s cousin is Juan Santiago (Michael Saucedo). Juan’s biological father was L&B artist, Miguel Morez (Ricky Martin). Wouldn’t it be cool to Michael and Ricky return for a guest appearance? The Ball will need entertainment, Ricky Martin could perhaps perform. Also to perform could be other alumni, such as L&B artist Eddie Mann/Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth), his on-screen daughter Brook Lynn (Adrianne Leon). Eli Love/Noah Drake (Rick Springfield), Haunted Star headliner Starr Manning (Kirsten Alderson), her on-screen mother Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva), the should be out-of-jail by now Blackie Parrish (John Stamos) and his friend the former singer at The Outback, Dusty Walker (Shaun Cassidy).
Kin Shriner, Antonio Sabato Jr and Demi Moore are being mentioned as possiby returning, What about Sean and Tiffany Donely (John Reilly and Sharon Wyatt) perhaps Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), or back from the dead Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols)?
I LOVE your imagination! 🙂
Dusty never played the Outback. The OUTback did not open until 1991. Dusty and Teri played at Duke’s in 1987. Must be thinking of Sean’s Son (Christian) that played the outback.
Sorry MK, it might have been Duke’s. Forgive me, it WAS a long time ago. lol Not sure I remember Christian.
Love it Barbara!!! All great suggestions! Frank and Ron… listen to Barbara!!! Please! It would be so much fun even if they were there for only a few shows!!!
I would like to remember them when they were young although Anna looks great and Luke is always hot. What are we going to do with all these people?
Exactly!
I would really love to see Jason back in General Hospital this show is not the same without him. He and sonny are the best part of General Hospital pleaseeeeeeeeeee bring back Jason back!!!!!!
Agreed MJ… I would love to have SB back as Jason… but this time have him come back as Jason Quartermaine and the storylines are unlimited. Also a great opportunity to bring some characters from the past back.
Please bring Jason back-he and Sam deserve alittle hapiness.
Jack Wagoner and John Stamos back now that will make fans like me smile. I have watched GH for the past 30 years.
They can perform Sneak Attack! 😉
I am a die-hard GH fan and I always loved Frisco. Now it seems like anyone who was ever on the show is coming back for a final swan song before they cancel the show. Too bad.
It is for the 5Oth, not a swan song
Laura… think for the 50th Anniversary and not the other!!!
LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE IT:)
Rick Springfield!
I am looking forward to all the returns! I believe most will be coming in for the Nurse’s Ball (in honor of the 50th anniversary) and not staying long.
I agree with most everyone else here, but would like to add that Felix’s last name is Dubois – and I for one would LOVE to see Billy Dee Williams return as Toussaint Dubois. Relation to Felix?: uncle, cousin, father, whatever! 🙂 Liked him and Epiphany…
Ooh!! Good catch on the Dubois name. Billy Dee would be great for a few episodes to make that connection.
Agree with Violet. CTwildheart, I didn’t catch the name similarity, so glad you did. Hope they are related and Billy Dee can join the cast for the 50th Anniversary, maybe get a little something going again with Epithamy and stick around.
great news, hope they write a worthwhile story line and not unbelieveable story.
demi moore is talking abt a gh return? that would generate a lot of press for gh and daytime soaps and even primetime soaps but how does this benefit moore? she already is attacked by the hollywood entertainment press as it is. wouldn’t guesting on a soap make them mock her some more though? it is mysoginist how hollywood and the entertainment media chastise moore for her youth obsession. hello? that’s every hollywood actor and actress! moore obviously has issues w/ aging. but that’s exactly how it is w/ george clooney! moore is made fun of for her penchant for being w/ younger men. but clooney is praised for his revolving door of much younger gfs. he’s proclaimed as a “bachelor” and a “prize” and there’s speculation abt w/c gf is going to be the woman who marries him while moore is the pathetic woman clinging to her looks! clooney’s never mocked for how ridiculous he looks as this old lothario w/ 1 new gf after the next but moore is mocked for being an older woman w/ a younger man. typical hollywood patriarchy bec older men who are white like clooney must be preserved as the “ideal”. clooney looks stupid and he’s compensating for being old way too much whenever he shows up on the red carpet w/ a new gf.
well said.
OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH ! For the LOVE of God…. Bobbie Spencer… ALREADY!
Seriously? Just Saying….
All the Hoopla about GHs’ – 50…. wouldn’t be a complete Tribute…. w/out Jackie Zeman.
Forget James Franco! The star they should have been getting has always been Richard Dean Anderson as Jeff Webber. I would like to see Heather, Monica and Lesley all fighting over him. He is also perfect to take on the Steve Hardy Legacy. Antonio, Yes Please, but only when Robin or Brenda return.
I would love him to be back I miss all the old actors been watching for years
sounds like these actors don’t have any other type of rules anywhere else. Sad, the economy hit the performing arts also
Looking forward to see Blackie. Audrey should come back. Who is Scotty’s Mom?
I will have my 50th anniversay also with the show. Started to watch it after my daughter was born. (1963)
Would love for Tiffany and Sean, Blackie,Laura, Scotty, Bobbie, Louise, and Ned come back. Iam a huge Jack Wagner fan so happy he is coming back ! Want the show to bring back Jason and Robin and Robert
Ned was back, today, 1/24/2013.
sure would be nice if Sean and Tiffany could bring Robert back to PC !
I actually loved when brenda was originally on & with sonny. when they brought her back the writers gave her a HORRIBLE storyline that made her look whiny & annoying, & didnt keep her & sonny happy together for more than 2 minutes!!! but i would love her back together with sonny raising her son!!!
I think they should bring back Sean and Tiffany, Frisco, and where has Bobby been, Carly needs her?
I LoVE YOU I just wish you would sing
How many more people can they add? There are way too many people on already. They need to stick with the core characters and just build good story lines for them.
I think it’s wonderful seeing these old faces and characters! I’d like to see Jacki Zeiman come back to the group!
i was a bit upset with all these characters showing up thinking they were spreading the storylines too thin, until someone said they are primarily back for the 50 years anniversary. And i think the writers have bone a great job incorporating them into existing stories or creating short new ones for them. Kudos to the writing teams, at least so far.
WONDERFUL NEWS!
I hope Jack Wagner is back. He and Christina were such a hot couple. My daughter will go wild.
I don’t understand why they are going through all these people?
Bring Back JASON
Agreed… but I want it to be SB!
me 2
I don’t care to see Demi Moore back. Her story line wasn’t much, and she wasn’t there for very long. She has no history with anyone. IE: she isn’t anyone’s parent, etc. Richard Dean Anderson would be awesome, as he is Elizabeth’s father, and also a doctor. Pairing him with Monica? Can you imagine. She needs a man! Also, I hate the way they just forgetting that Robert has another child besides Robin. He is Bobby’s son, Lucas’ father. (Robert and Cheryl, Tiffany’s sister, had a baby together and Bobby adopted him!) It bugged me that Luke had to make up a son to give him, when he should have mentioned Lucas. I wouldn’t mind seeing John Stamos, but only if he is just going to walk on and off..there is no need to build a big storyline for him. Jagger…eh…I would not want to see him with Brenda, so what would be the point? Now…if only Brenda would come back and REALLY be with Sonny….I’d LOVE that. But only if she plans to stick around, and only if they write her with some sense and give her a believable career. I also hate the way they are writing Lucy. I’d have like to see her come back with a successful business competing with Connie/Kate. Not STILL trying to swindle her way into everyone’s life. With all that being said…I’m loving GH!! Love the writers! And glad Steve Burton is gone. Y&R can keep him.
Cheryl eventually set the record straight..Robert was not Lucas’s father. His biological dad was Julian Jerome. So Robin is Robert’s only child (that we know of)
I have waited many years to hear that he was coming back, many prayers. Now if we could just get Shawn and Tiffany, and get Robert ‘healthy’ and back on the screen. I think it would be awesome to see Robert & Anna, Shawn & Tiffany, Frisco & Felicia, Luke & Laura all together on the canvas. Some of my favorite parts of GH were when I was young and all these couples were there and together and all the spy work…just no Faison stories, please. Oh, and I think it’s about time Blackie Parrish was released from prison. This is a soap after all, they would never keep him imprisoned for life!
One more thing while I’m at it…PLEASE switch Lucy’s crazy button to off. That vampire story was really boring and ridiculous when it was originally written and aired on the GH spinoff (the show name escapes me now), but for Lucy to relive it and go crazy calling Sam, Livvie and John, Caleb and worse yet stabbing him with a stake (broken chair leg), well, it’s the stupidest thing I have ever seen on GH and I have NEVER complained about storylines, EVER!! Just my humble opinion…..
I would like to see him make a play for Felicia and have her tell him where to get off.
Oh yeah!!
You really need to bring Jason back. It was the worst story line and he needs to come back as Jason. He doesn’t need to be on the young and restless get him back plz.
it’s pretty obvious…robin’s rescue, stones brother would be a great hero….friso there to help her save robert….and help maxie do the right thing since she’s pregnant by the love of her life..and when they all have happy endings they old crew can go after jerry and faison…of course with their base of operations in the penthouse with the secret room..luke,laura,robert,holly,anna,duke,mac,friso,felicia,jagger,sonny..all now protecting their little grandkids instead of their kids…sorry for rambling but i havent missed more than a handful of episodes since 1982!!! that’s my ideal senario
you know, I would even like to see clips of favorites that can’t stop by for a scene anymore because their portrayers have died along with their characters
Steve Hardy
Nurse Jessie Brewer
Ruby Anderson (Luke & Bobbi’s aunt that ran Kelly’s)
Lila & Edward Quartermaine
I agree. And what ever happened To Bobbie, I haven’t seen her on there in a very long time.
