Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Returns To The Bold and the Beautiful!

Steffy Watch 2015!  Yup, news today out of The Bold and the Beautiful is that a rep has confirmed to Soap Opera Digest that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is on her way back to the CBS soap opera!

The last time viewers saw the character of Steffy Forrester was back in February of this year.  MacInnes Wood has played the central role from 2008-20013 , previously.    In addition, last reports had that the series and Wood could not come to an agreement for her to make a return to the show.

Now, look for Jacqui to appear on new episodes of B&B come late January, and she will be back on set next week to begin taping.  Now the question: just how long is Jacqui back for?

So, happy to hear the news?  With Kim Matula’s (Hope) exit from the show … is it possible for more Steffy?  Share your thoughts below.

Looks like they threatened to recast her role with Kelly Thiebauld and that’s what scared her.

Oh no, we’re finally getting rid of Hope and now we have her back. If
we’re having a Steffy, Liam, Ivy triangle for the next 5 years I’m done!

Woohoooooo!!!!!!!! Please let her be staying for a long time. Let her channel her grandmother’s spirit and put those damned Logans (Brooke/Rick) in their place once and for all!
Awesome news!

I agree. I’m so sick of the Forester’s giving into the Logan’s. It’s suppose to be Forester creations. Before anyone says anything Ridge was adopted so he is legally a Forester. Hope/Donna/Katie are Logan’s and they just walk into Forester Creations like they own it. It really is sickening. Rick on the other hand is Eric & Brook’s son.,so he’s half Forester half Logan.

Ridge was raised as Eric’s son and thought to be Eric’s son. It was not until a few years ago, when Ridge was long since an adult, that it was discovered Eric was not biologically his father. He was not adopted.

Hi Mo ! I knew his father was Massimo but I thought Eric told him to keep the Forester name & since Ridge didn’t want Massimo as a father he filed all the papers?

EXCELLENT NEWS!!!!!

I’m glad she’s back to the series, even if for a short-term guest stint. It’s still a shame that Bell and CBS can’t come to terms of Jacqueline for a more permanent stay. But hearing she’s back in this stint kind of makes me feel like they might be putting plans to recast to rest, maybe? I never thought I’d miss the void left by Steffy with Jacqui revealed she was leaving. But I hope this is the beginning of the return of both Jacqui and Steffy to the soap.

B&B needs Steffy (in the form of Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to come back, with Kim Matula gone.

This is great news! I love JMW and I really like Steffy. Yes, she’s a troublemaker, but Hope has gotten unbearable lately. Plus, I always liked Steffy and Liam together more than Hope and Liam. I’m thrilled with this news, and I hope she sticks around for a while!

Please let Steffy returned a changed woman. Strong, confident, maybe dangerous? With a new man? With a secret? She need not come home to instantly jump back into a love triangle with Liam again. (He is a boring character.)

I commented in another thread that I was 3 weeks behind on B&B and was not inspired to catch up quickly. Now I’m sure I’ll be taking my sweet time about it. The good thing is that I can usually get through an episode in about 10 mins. when you FF the incessant flashbacks & bad- music montages. I really want to like this show but they make it *so* hard to do anymore.

Like Taylo, JMW stated herself last week that she would never return to B&B yet here we are. Does the left hand know what the right is doing or are we just gaining publicity with the contradictions in statements? It will be refreshing to see the storyline of Steffy’s return never the less even if just for a small stint. One can only hope it is to see her help Liam go up against Quinn and all i can say is “watch out Quinn, you have no idea who your messing with when it comes to Steffy”.This would be, without… Read more »

IF IT WASN’T FOR QUINN GETTING STEFFY TO COME FROM PARIS ON HOPE AND LIAMS WEDDING DAY THEY WOULD BE TOGETHER AND QUINN WOULDN’T BE A PROBLEM. HOPE FELL TODAY AND LIAMS ON THE WAY BUT QUINNS THERE TOO AND I HOPE SHE GETS THE BLAME FOR IT. LIAM WOULDN’T HAVE STEFFY BACK ANYWAY WAIT UNTIL HE FINDS OUT IT’S HIS BABY UNLESS BELL DON’T DO LIKE I THINK HE IS AND HOPE OR THE SURVIVE THE FALL.

I couldn’t be more happier about this. My favorite female character on the show back to share the screen with my favorite male on the show (Liam)…It’s B&B gravy for me. I just hope she will get to go back on contract, and make this stay a lot longer. Us Steam fans are very thirsty over here. Lol

I so agree. I loved the love story created for Liam and Hope and have been waiting to finally see them get back together. It was a beautiful love story until the character of Steffy came along. With the departure of Kim Matula I don’t care to watch any longer. I couldn’t stand the character of Steffy and now I know I will never watch the B&B again with the return of her character. Just glad I started watching other soaps about a year ago that I find far more interesting and no triangles involved. I enjoy good s/l’s along… Read more »

NO I DON’T WANT HER TO COME BACK. THE FAN’S HAVE ASKED FOR HOPE AND LIAM BUT THE WRITERS LET US THINK OH YEAH FINALLY AND THEN JERK IT AWAY FROM US.KIM IS LEAVING WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN WITH HOPE AND THE BABY, I GUESS SINCE SHE FELL TODAY THEN THERE WON’T BE A RECAST OF HOPE BECAUSE THE FALL WILL HAVE KILLED HER AND THE BABY RIGHT? I’VE WATCHED THIS SHOW FROM DAY ONE, DO YOU KNOW JUST HOW MANY WOMEN HAVE CRIED OVER HOPE AND LIAM? I’M DONE I’LL START WATCHING LAW AND ORDER!!!

Will love to see Steffy back. I hope she has grown and will not become another love triangle with Liam, and Ivy. So very tired of these Love Triangles. Come on writers, add other plots. Let’s have some wars between the Logans , Spencers, and Forresters, for takeovers of the businesses. Something other than these constant love triangles that only hurt and destroy. Loosing of babies is just wrong and not what people want to see.

I agree, I am very tired of the love triangles too. I am so glad Hope is gone, she was very boring and I do love that Steffy is back, she was live and spunky. Leave Liam with Ivy. And please stop this cry baby Rick and make him grow up. Tired of his crap already too. Ridge, got to lighten him up and have some fun…I love the man that plays the part, but man he is playing such an aweful boring part. Come B&B, you really need to spruce up the show and leave all these triangles alone,… Read more »

I am thrilled to see Steffy back on B & B. Love to see her with Wyatt !!! They share the same love for life . Happy to see that Brooke & Brooke Jr are gone. They took up too much air time. Hate the Caroline / Ridge storyline. The whole mother/daughter saga makes me ill . B & B did a great job destroying the beautiful Katie & Ridge lovestory. Kaye is dull without Katie. Send him back to the East coast. Happy New Year !!!

Hollywood Reacts to the Death of Former ‘Cheers’ Star Kirstie Alley

Over the last 24 hours, friends, colleagues and former co-star have paid tribute to Kirstie Alley, the former Cheers and Veronica Closet star, who passed away at age 71.

On Tuesday, a rep for Kirstie Alley confirmed to PEOPLE.com that the actress died from complications from Colon Cancer.

Alley rose to fame in 1987 as Rebecca Howe on NBC’s Cheers. For that tole she earned a Golden Globe for Best Actress and an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy series in1991. In 1994, she received her second Emmy win for her portrayal of Sally Goodson in David’s Mother.

Some of her other roles included: Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982), Summer School (1987), Look Who’s Talking (1989), It Takes Two (1995) and Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999).

Alley also starred on in other TV sitcoms such as: Veronica’s ClosetFat ActressKirstie and Scream Queens.  She later appeared on two reality series: A&E’s Kirstie Alley’s Big Life and was a celebrity competitor on season 12 of Dancing with the Stars.

Alley’s children, True and Lillie broke the news of their mother’s death via an Instagram post: “To all our friends, far and wide around the world. We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered. She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead. As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother. We are grateful to the incredible team of doctors and nurses at the Moffitt Cancer Center for their care. Our mother’s zest and passion for life, her children, grandchildren and her many animals, not to mention her eternal joy of creating, were unparalleled and leave us inspired to live life to the fullest just as she did. We thank you for your love and prayers and ask that you respect our privacy at this difficult time.”

Kirstie’s controversial relationship with Scientology had been much talked about in the press and through her years in Hollywood.  The late actress shared in the past that through Scientology, it gave her the strength to climb out of her drug addiction and depression. In her 2012 memoir, The Art of Men, she noted that she stumbled upon Scientology at a very dark period in her life; that for 26 days, she drove from Kansas to Newport Beach, California, to visit a Scientology center, stopping periodically along the way to buy drugs.  After, she said Scientology helped her kicked her addition, Kirstie then became a devotee and spent decades publicly defending the church and building friendships within it, but later in life, she found some of those relationships fracture such as with Leah Ramini.

Below are some remembrances from stars from daytime, primetime, and motion pictures that offered up their sentiments on Alley’s sudden passing:

Greg Vaughan (Eric, DAYS): “I am beyond thankful to have had the pleasure to embrace your love, laughter & kindness!!! All my love & prayers”

Finola Hughes (Anna, GH): “#rip #kirstialley one of a kind”

Maksim Chmerkovskiy (DWTS) “My dearest Kirstie, We haven’t spoken lately and I’ll tell you everything when I finally see you, but for now I want to say that I love you very much and I wish you the most peaceful rest. You were one of the most unique people I have ever met and easily one of the brightest moments of my personal and professional life.  Some of our relationship is heavily documented. Most of it is known to select few. All of it was like a wild rollercoaster. From Maude to DJ Lil Buttercup you were always all in for life. As I’m typing this, memories of our time together rush to my head, I remember how absolutely wild you were and I start to tear up. Something you’d absolutely hate. And now I can’t help but smile because I remembered exactly what you wanted me to say at your funeral. Don’t think I can do it here… I thought you’d be around forever.  I wish we spoke often. Thank you for everything. I love you Kirstie Alley”

Photo: NBC

Ted Danson (ex-Cheers, ex-Mr. Mayor, ex-AW):  “I was on a plane today and did something I rarely do. “I watched an old episode of Cheers.  It was the episode where Tom Berenger proposes to Kirstie, who keeps saying no, even though she desperately wants to say yes. Kirstie was truly brilliant in it. Her ability to play a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown was both moving and hysterically funny,  She made me laugh 30 years ago when she shot that scene, and she made me laugh today just as hard. As I got off the plane, I heard that Kirstie had died. I am so sad and so grateful for all the times she made me laugh. I send my love to her children. As they well know, their mother had a heart of gold. I will miss her.”

Kelsey Grammar (ex-Cheers): “I always believed grief for a public figure is a private matter, but I will say I loved her.”

Rhea Perlman (ex-Cheers): “Kirstie was a unique and wonderful person and friend. Her joy of being was boundless. We became friends almost instantly when she joined the cast of Cheers. She loved kids and my kids loved her too. We had sleepovers at her house, with treasure hunts that she created.  She had massive Halloween and Easter parties, and invited the entire crew of the show, and their families. She wanted everyone to feel included. She loved her children deeply. I’ve never met anyone remotely like her. I feel so thankful to have known her. I’m going to miss her very, very much.”

John Travolta: “Kirstie was one of the most special relationships I’ve ever had.  I love you Kirstie. I know we will see each other again.”

Jamie Lee Curtis: “I’ve just heard the sad news that Kirstie Alley has died. She was a great comic foil in Scream Queens and a beautiful mama bear in her very real life. She helped me buy onesies for my family that year for Christmas. We agreed to disagree about some things but had a mutual respect and connection. Sad news.”

Harrison Wagner, Son of GH’s Kristina Wagner and Jack Wagner, Cause of Death Determined

General Hospital’s Kristina Wagner (Felicia) and former GH and B&B star Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco, ex-Nick) have been mourning the loss of their beloved son, Harrison Wagner, since he passed away this past June at the age of 27.

Harrison was found in a parking lot and his cause of death was initially deferred.  Now, according to a report from PEOPLE.com, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner officials have updated Harrison’s death as an “accident,” with Fentanyl and Alprazolam (the generic name for Xanax) as the official cause.

Courtesy/HarrisonWagnerIG

Following his passing, Kristina and Jack created the Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund to assist other young men who battle addiction to be able to afford getting into a recovery community.

Just a few days ago on December 1st, Kristina remembered her son on what would have been his 28th birthday with a touching Instagram post. It included a video clip of Harrison dancing along with the words: “Sometimes I feel like a pinned butterfly. There’s no second chance. There’s no see-him-again. There’s no nothing. He’s not coming back. It’s final. But life goes on. How do I spend the rest of my own without Harrison in it? What does it mean to be ‘all right’ after the death of your child, your blood? The pain will never go away. Today is Harrison’s birthdate. I had the privilege to know him for 27 incredible years. Harrison was larger than life, but beneath his commanding presence was vulnerability and compassion. He understood his own defects and worked hard to turn them around, to strengthen his positive attributes. He was a good listener and stood up for others when they couldn’t speak for themselves. He is missed. Happy Birthday, Harrison. To all bereaved parents: May you find peace. Let’s stick around and see what’s in store for our extraordinary lives.”

Photo: KWagnerIG

Jack and Kristina have two sons together, the late Harrison, and their eldest son, Peter (age 31).  The actors were previously married from 1993 to 2006.

We continue to offer our condolences to Jack, Kristina, and Peter through this difficult time, and hope that from Harrison’s passing, that the scholarship fund in his name, will help others.

Share your thoughts on the closing of the case on Harrison Wagner’s death, and send your continued condolences to Jack and Kristina via the comment section below.

The Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund notes that if you have a loved one that is in need of help with their substance abuse, please give them call at 888-977-4549 to learn more about the recovery options available.
