multi-talented…diverse roles…creative…intelligent…modern day Renaissance man. oh…and cute! (also feel his “stint” as co-host of the Oscars was just that. have seen him interviewes since then and he’s actually quite engaging. too bad he didn’t show that side of his personality on such a huge world stage.)

To be considered for a Star the person has to have at least 5 years experience in their field- plus they have to have done some charity work – but the biggest thing is the people nominating the person if selected have to cough up about 30 grand to pay for it. These Stars are no longer about honoring someone- it is all about tourism, and whoever can pay the fee- will most likely get one eventually.

Wow. Anyone can BUY a star on the Walk of Fame.

The economy must be that bad in Hollywood.

I do not think he is worthy of the Star, although a good actor. People really need to pay their dues do get a star. But when the fans pay 3500 for the star, then almost anyone can have one, though they do need to be approved as only about 10 are given out each year. But I think this should have happened in 20 years if he is still around.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Alex Is ‘Wicked’ To Anna; Franco Receives Devastating Diagnosis

Friday’s episode of General Hospital brought with it a clever play on the Broadway smash hit musical, Wicked, but no there was no singing, instead we had the always brilliant Finola Hughes, playing the good witch and the bad witch, in the form of portraying twin sisters, Anna and Alex as Halloween night comes to Port Charles.

In story, Anna, who is dressed for Halloween in white as a good witch, reads the report in front of Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) that proves that Faison did not have the marker for RA (rheumatoid arthritis) which then proves that since she did not have it, nor Faison, that Alex is the biological mother of Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

All this time, as Anna says, she blamed herself for being with Faison only to find out that was a complete lie.  Anna becomes so incensed by all of Alex’s machinations that she smashes a glass just as the power goes out.  Valentin tells Anna he was also used by her sister where Peter was concerned.  Anna questions whether she should warn Peter, that Alex might be after him and his unborn child with Maxie (Kirsten Storms).  Valentin is convinced they need to get rid of Alex, before she does something to them.

Anna does decide Peter should show know the truth, as Valentin leaves to find out Alex’s whereabouts.  When the lights come back on at Anna’s, she is clubbed over the head by Alex who is dressed in black as a bad witch. Later, when kids come to trick-or-treat at Anna’s, she has switched places with her sister offering the kid’s candy after stashing Anna away in the basement and most-likely locking her in there.

Peter is in a whole heap of trouble as he keeps getting creepy phone calls from Helena saying they have “unfinished business”.  We later see a trap is being set by Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) in a secret location.  Sam is using a voice-alternating ‘Pro Tools’ like audio software program to simulate Helena’s voice to spook Peter and to set him up!

Back at the hospital, Terry (Cassandra James) delivers terrible news to Franco (Roger Howarth). His test results show he has a malignant tumor again on the front lobe of his brain, and that it is inoperable and cannot be removed through surgery.  She tells him she wants to run more tests to see what options they have.

When she asks Franco if he has developed any symptoms, he flashes back to the night at Wyndemere when Ava’s (Maura West) painting was revealed and ruined with C077x spray-painted across it and a haunting dream he had, but denies to Terry that he has had any problems as of now.  When she tells him they need to tell Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Franco says he does not want to tell her, or the boys, about this.  When Liz enters the room, Terry and Franco keep mum as to his condition, for now.

Roger Howarth showed once again why he can always be counted on to bring poignant moments to his scenes as Franco.  Be on the lookout for what happens with this story.  In a November sweeps preview in the current issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, GH head writers, Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor teased about the medical crisis that it “may hold the key to unlocking one of the biggest mysteries in Port Charles – something that has been in the works for years.”

So, what did you think will happen next in the Anna/Alex saga?  What do you think will ultimately happen to Franco? Will he become the ‘killer’ Franco again? What could be the mystery the co-head writers are referring to? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

General Hospital To Air Special Election Episode In Honor of the Passing of the 19th Amendment & Women’s Right To Vote

On the Monday, November 2nd episode of General Hospital, just before election day here in the United States, the ABC daytime drama is airing a very special episode depicting and remembering the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution.

The inspiring female cast will go back in time as Laura Wright takes on the role of Beatrice Eckert, a suffragist, who is more than ever, determined to get women to exercise their right to vote.

Key to the episode are Eden McCoy (Josslyn) and Sydney Miykala (Trina).  In the story, it marks Josslyn’s first time to be able to vote now that she has turned 18. At first, she isn’t very motivated to vote, but when she and Trina find themselves traveling back in time to 1920, things take a turn as Josslyn realizes just how important it is to exercise her right to have her voice heard and vote, as those women before her fought for their rights.

In the all female directed, written episode, also look for actresses: Maura West, Nancy Lee Grahn, Finola Hughes, Rebecca Herbst, Nicole Briana Henry, Brook Kerr, and more of the female cast to be on-screen.

The episode’s key messaging, “Voting isn’t just a right.. it’s a privilege.”   All that to say, remember, to get on vote come Tuesday.

Emme Rylan Addresses Reports Of Her Exit From General Hospital & Update On Plans With Family

Several hours ago, Emme Rylan (Lulu) of General Hospital took to her Instagram story to talk directly to her followers, friends and fans about her rumored exit on the ABC daytime drama series, and to share some changes in where she and her family will be living.

At that time, Emme updated everyone that since the landlord sold the house she has been living in with partner Don Money and their three children, that they had not found a suitable home for them to live, in Los Angeles, after their extensive search.  So for now they were going to put their things in storage and go on an extended road trip with the entire family in tow … in a car… under Covid-19 safety protocols with her kids still distance-learning, and that she would be documenting the trip on her Instagram account,

After she shared her original update, she later went back to her Instagram story to clarify her earlier statements after many fans were following up with her asking her even more questions.

Rylan shared:  “I am getting a lot of questions that I cannot answer …  people are kind of being confused that maybe I chose to take a vacation or take time-off,  so the only thing I can say is “no, I did not choose this.”  I can’t say anything else.  There you go.   That’s all I am allowed to say.   So, this trip is us taking an unexpected turn of events and turning it into something positive and fun for our family. ”

Earlier on her IG story, Emme addressed the reports of her exit from Port Charles explaining: “I am not in a position to be able to comment on the work stuff, so in terms of General Hospital, I am going to keep that topic quiet. All you need to know is that I love everyone there, we all love each other, I’m okay, and all of your messages of love are amazing … I love you guys so much — but I just can’t talk about it. ”

Then as to her plans with her family she shared: “We, meaning my family and I, have decided to do something completely insane. I have never done anything like this in my entire adult life. We are currently packing up our entire house and putting it in a pod and putting it in storage here in Los Angeles, and with only our suitcases, we are going to go on a Covid-safe, epic road trip.  I have been working every single day, Monday through Friday on a soap opera since 2004?  I have only been in New York and L.A, and I have never really explored life outside of this bubble.”

So, what do you think about what Emme shared with her fans and followers? Comment below.
