That guy is a complete and utter douche. Hope he never ever comes back to any of the remaining soap operas.

I agree, Sharice….and, he was a complete bore on SATURDAY NIGHT. ….did not do it for me. Nikki Minaj on the other hand? She was ‘mahhhhvelous’ . …..her exaggerated and satirical impersonation of KK created a round of belly laughs in my house, for sure.

Have never been a huge James Franco fan, but love his nads…can I say that word here? He’s a gutsy, busy man who clearly doesn’t rest on his laurels. He kind of won me over, though, when he did a “mock-off” “knock-off”of Kimye’s disgusting, self-indulgent “Bound 2” video w/Seth Rogen. I laughed til I cried, so count me in for tonight’s SNL!

I like James Franco and I hope he comes back to GH. He’s a better actor now and has a lot more fans.
It would be nice to see Roger Howarth back as Todd.

He may be a douche as Sharice says, lol, I don’t know, and I never thought much of his acting until 127 HOURS! Just WOW!!!! Can I say again…WOW!! The whole movie is a WOW to me-extra points for the filmmakers for maintaining a high level of intensity throughout a true story despite the fact that the outcome was already well-known.

I haven’t seen all of his movies but he was decent in MILK as well.

I loved 127 Hours! Another great one is Pineapple Express…It’s a comedy with several different genres mixed in!

Yes, Pineapple Express was funny. It’s not my typical type of movie, but funny is funny!

I agree,, Laurie. I am not disputing his acting skill. I am strictly talking about his skits on SNL. I did not find him funny….as a comedic actor, I found him lacking. And yes, James acting was exceptional in 127 hours.

Hi Laurie…I thought he was great in MILK…and also played James Dean to perfection. Did you see Sunday’s live production of Peter Pan? Christopher Walken played Hook and Franco parodied him on SNL…it was hilarious. He got every inflection and mannerism down to the letter. LOL funny!

He may have done some creepy things all in the name of avant-garde…but there’s no denying he’s one multi-talented, extremely accomplished individual. Caught his Christopher Walken-as-Captain Hook and it was HILARIOUS and spot ON!!! Too funny…

Just love how millionaires, James Franco and Seth Rogen, can poke fun at the Sony breach while those of us “little people” have our SSNs, emails, home address, phone numbers leaked to the world, not to mention our families’ information.

I can’t believe Sony would allow their employees (Franco and Rogen) to go on national television and rub their faces in it some more. I hope this breach means the end of the Franco-Rogen gravy train.

I have loved this man since he appeared in Freaks and Geeks. As Rebecca asserts, he is an intensely talented actor possessing superhero multitasking skills.
However, I do not appreciate his Franco character because it seems to me he is winking and smirking at the audience as if to say,”Look at this A list actor slumming it with soap opera actors.”

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Nina Helps Sonny After Realizing He is Off His Meds

Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital, will no doubt lead to Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) becoming closer, because she was witness, went through, and helped the mobster get help while he was having a manic episode after being off his meds for bipolar disorder.

A disheveled Sonny was outside insulating the kids’ treehouse, didn’t sleep all night, is not eating, and tells Nina – who stayed the night at the Corinthos’ home on the couch – that he feels great.  Then, he tells Nina to stop telling him what to do and to stay out of his way.

Nina panics and calls Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) at the hospital worried that Sonny is off his meds, and she needs medical advice on what to do about it.  Britt tells Nina it’s important to get Sonny to a doctor and not argue with him, but to get him to acknowledge he is having a manic episode.

After the call, Nina asks Sonny not to leave and to explain bipolar disorder to her. He replies it’s like a nightmare but that’s not what’s happening now. Then, he grabs her wrists hard as she stands at the door, as he wants to leave, and Nina tells him, she is hurting her.  Sonny has a moment of realization and insists he does not hurt women. Sonny asks Nina if she is now afraid of him?  She tells him she isn’t. All of a sudden, Sonny feels exhausted.  He sits with Nina and starts to cry and admits he has been off his meds.  She gets him to agree that he needs to see Dr. Sullivan and get a refill.

Sonny and Nina arrive at GH, and Britt shows them to an examining room. Nina wants to make sure he’s OK, before she exits, but Sonny wants to make sure he did not injure her wrists. Nina says she is OK, but you could tell she is emotional from the entire encounter she went through with Sonny.

Maurice Benard took to Twitter within the last 24 hours stating about the storyline which is throwing Sonny’s love life in turmoil and working opposite both Laura Wright (Carly) and Cynthia Watros: “I go where ever it is best for the show and fortunately right now this story is doing well, even better than well, now you may not want to hear that. You already know I love Laura and Cynthia. I keep saying this is between history and change, I think after 20 years change is good.”

So, what did you think of the scenes between Nina and Sonny? Do you agree with us that Nina seeing Sonny having a manic episode will draw them closer together? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Helena, Jennifer Smith & The Ice Princess: What Did You Think of Luke Spencer’s Memorial?

Friday’s episode of General Hospital brought the highly-anticipated story around the apparent death of Port Charles iconic, Luke Spencer (Tony Geary), although many fans, and even some of the cast of the show, are not sold that Luke is “dead” dead.

During the show, characters spoke of some of the history of Luke in Port Charles, most especially Luke’s sister, Bobbie played by Jackie Zeman.  Throughout the years, Zeman is at her best when she is given material through the writing of the show to connect to the history of Luke and Bobbie.  She did so when Bobbie was remembering how Luke came to Port Charles to help her break up Scotty and Laura, in a discussion with her daughter, Carly (Laura Wright).

As everyone is gathering at the Haunted Star to pay their respects to Luke, Curtis (Donnell Turner) arrives to support Laura (Genie Francis), Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Anna (Finola Hughes) arrive together, Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and Ava (Maura West), as well as Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez  also show up. It is through Nikolas’ conversation with Laura that we learn why Luke’s sons, Ethan and Lucky, can’t make the funeral and, of course, we know why Luke’s daughter Lulu can’t make it because she is in a coma!

Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) shows up and snipes at everyone and then leaves.  Tracy (Jane Elliot), who has arranged the memorial, is with an urn supposedly filled with Luke’s ashes and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) finds her on the deck of the Haunted Star and talks her into giving her planned eulogy.

Meanwhile, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) finds his dad, Sonny (Maurice Benard) drinking at Charlie’s, and later Scott (Kin Shriner) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) stop in and heated words are exchanged between Sonny and Scott. Victor shows up and instead of Scott and Sonny pummeling each other, they get into a fight against Victor.

As Scott and Robert are about to be on their way to the Haunted Star, Scott stays behind because of his past with Luke.  Then, Sonny tried to patch things up with Carly before they head to the memorial.

Back on the yacht, Anna and Felicia find a note and a flash drive, after hearing a commotion on the yacht.  When the note says “play me”, none other than Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) addresses Luke’s friends and family from apparently the great beyond.  As Helena spews her venom against Luke, Laura has enough and pulls the plug on Helena’s video speech.  Tracy looks concerned, like she may want to hear whatever else Helena had to say.

Next, Tracy does her best in short order to eulogize Luke.  That is juxtaposed with Scott trashing Luke.  Later, by herself on the deck, Tracy spreads Luke’s ashes over the waters of Port Charles. Back on the pier, Scott relishes Luke being gone, and that he is still standing saying, “You lose you son of a bitch!” Just then Luke’s ashes blow in into his face.  When Bobbie arrives, and see Scott full of ashes, she asks what happened.  Scott says, “I caught the bouquet,” an obvious nod to the Luke and Laura wedding of the past, where Scott returned at their wedding and caught the wedding bouquet.

Back on the Haunted Star, Tracy then has a gift in hand for Laura, but she tells Tracy if that’s the Ice Princess she does not want anything to do with it, and tells Tracy to keep it.  Spencer sees this go down and his interest on the diamond is instantly piqued.

Back at Charlie’s bar, Victor has an ominous toast to Luke saying, “The good people of your fair city are in for a big surprise!”

At the Haunted Star, dressed in black with black veil, Jennifer Smith reveals herself to a shocked Laura.

So, what did you think of Luke’s memorial episode? Favorite parts of it? Least favorite? Share your thoughts in the comment section. But first, check out Helena’s videotaped speech and Tracy’s eulogy to Luke below.

(WATCH) GH’s Genie Francis Shares: “I Just Have a Hard Time Believing, In My Heart, That The Great Luke Spencer Died in an Accident”

Today’s Friday episode of General Hospital, is set to feature the funeral of the iconic Luke Spencer (Tony Geary).

While family and friends will gather on the Haunted Star to memorialize him, what been teased by the ABC daytime drama is it will also set a whole storyline in motion.

And Luke’s sister, Bobbie, played by Jackie Zeman, also weighed-in if Luke is really a-goner: “Sometimes you get these little red herrings so, as you know, George, you know, you never really know.”

Watch Pennacchio chat with the GH stars below.

Now weigh-in, do you believe Luke is very much alive and well? Held captive, or “dead” dead? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
