Kristoff St. John Tweets To Former Y&R Castmate Michael Muhney To "Please Set The Record Straight …"

Another concerned cast member from The Young and the Restless has come forward regarding what has gone down on social media and the like, since the Michael Muhney (Adam) controversy story broke, and this time it’s Daytime Emmy winner Kristoff St. John who plays Neil Winters on the top rated CBS soap.
However, St John is asking for some public assistance from the very popular fired star to help out his former cast members, and the show, who are taking tremendous heat from outraged fans of the series because of Muhney’s dismissal!
St. John tweeted very earlier in the morning to Muhney, “@michaelmuhney Please set the record straight, for those of us that have to take the abuse from the fans. It’s hard to watch and read. #Bro”
What do you think of Kristoff’s point and sentiments? Some fans have voiced that it is not Muhney’s place to say anything, but Sony’s. Other have wanted to hear from Muhney as more accusations came to light throughout the last few weeks.

It would be nice if this scandal could reach some point of closure, but somehow I doubt that point will be MM ‘setting the record straight’ if he said he did it he opens himself up to lawsuits, if he said he didn’t nobody is going to believe it –
best for MM to say nothing at all, he was the one fired, so he has no obligation to make anybody else feel better.
Perhaps your cast mates should have kept quiet KSJ. They couldn’t wait to bash Michael. I’ve watched that show since day one and would have never guessed the actors on the show were so ruthless. EB is the one that needs to check his mouth and ego at the door. I stopped watching Y&R a few weeks ago, I’m just sorry I had so many years invested in it. No, Michael owes no one from the show anything. With the exception of Peter Bergman and Sharon Case the rest are backstabbers.
Sandy, I’m with you completely. I love Peter Bergman and Sharon Case. I was DVRing to watch MM’s scenes only because he said he gave his very, very best on the last three episodes. When I watch, until 1/31/14, I just watch his scenes. I really hope all of MM’s supporters stop watching after 1/31. We have to stand strong and show CBS and Y&R that fans DO matter.
I agree with you Sandy. If anyone is full of hubris it’s Eric Braedon. I also think its funny that JFP and the pres of daytime tv believes this will all blow over, its not and it wont. She didn’t learn anything from her ouster from GH or the fact that soap fans can complain for years. Both women are CLUELESS!

I agree. I thought I loved these characters – but now that they have become people I am starting to feel disgusted. Sony and CBS has handled this horribly. Two actors have both been slandered, or at least that is the way it seems. Fans went all out to help Eric Braden a few years ago. Doesn’t Mr. Braden realize that having MIchael Muhney’s incredible acting skills in his (Victor’s) antagonist, Adam, has made the show a much superior show. CBS and Sony owe the two actors and us the fans a big apology. If Mr. Muhney did what the gossip says he would have been fired outright – as he should have been (it is the law – such an act is a crime in 2013) — so both actors have been subject to all this gossip. More drama with all these tweets than on the show itself. Please Sony and CBS apologize to the actors and the fans. And, hire Mr. Muhney back. — And, please, actors do not take our voiced admiration of Mr. Muhany;s acting – that has made your show so much better — to be “abuse” — THAT is hard to read.
Hunter King I am sorry your name has gotten out there. That should never have happened and Sony and CBS and the writer from TMZ are to blame. A real crime though would and of course should have ended in an arrest.

I am so sorry to remove y and r from my dvr, but it only makes me sad to watch it…victor continuing to be an ass (oh, life imitating art), Billy cheating on his wife (as if), Billy miller leaving, what’s up with Hartley Sawyer being axed?, the character of Sharon being continually ruined, the departure of Michelle Stafford, the debacle of the Michael muhney firing. So sorry to see the demise of my favorite soap…gee, wonder who is responsible.
Agreed. All of the people who have been with the show side with EB. He wanted MM, who is the best actor on the show hands-down, fired & when EB wants someone gone – they’re gone! MM would have had a pattern of sexually abusing women if that were the case & I’m sure if it happened, more women would have come out by now to continue the MM bashing. I’m bery disappointed with Y & R.
If all these actors from the show would quit tweeting about this mess, they wouldn’t be taking the heat.

IA that the rest of the cast should not be airing the show’s dirty laundry on social media and then expecting MM to come forward to take the heat off them. Having said that though, the lack of even token good wishes for the future from the vast majority of his co-stars speaks volumes. It seems clear there were behind the scenes behavior problems. MM admitted that himself and took responsibility for his firing. I’m not sure what else there is to say at this point. Everyone needs to just let it go.

St. John is ONLY worried about his own rear end! His story line is boring and pathetic just like his character! Fans do not care about his bs opinion! They care about Michael’s railroading! The cast was so full of themselves they did not stop to think how much the fans loved MM so instead of helping him they put him and us down now they have figured out they were in the wrong and they want MM to help them, its almost comical. I stopped watching the show the day MM was fired and I am done with them. Not only did they mislead us into thinking they were one big happy family on the show, we were told in no uncertain terms that we do not matter. HELLO

Y&R has been destroyed. Neil, Devon, Lily, Cane and company BORING!!! The whole group is like watching paint dry……….Nikki whining and wringing her hands; Lily looking down her nose at everyone; Victor becoming the most vicious, nasty man ever that just listening to his speeches about “my family” is a joke and an offense to anyone who truly values family. I realize this is a story but it is becoming offensive, and it is no longer entertaining and that is what it should be. You through away some of the best actors you had and ruined the show in the process…………
I think Y&R are lining up all cast members to try and save a failing show. I was already thinking about no longer watching Y&R because the new story lines are SO bad. But after finding out that Billy & Adam were no longer going to be on the show. That was it for me. When they both finish being shown, I will go back to GH. I use to watch both since the time slots were different. Now I will just be a GH fan, and wait for the cancellation of what use to be the greatest soap ever
I personally dont care now about the show, Neil(Kristoff) hasnt had a part in a long time, I think of him as like a fill in now, I hope the show gets cancelled now that Michael Muhney has been fired.. Not to mention they are taking Michael off now and he is playing the best part of his life on the show now,,, which makes it even worst. With Chelsa and Connor, stupid Eric (victor) same old role. I can say this as I have watched this show almost since it began..

I have also watched this show since Day One. Now I’m watching it go down in flames and laughing my ass off. ADAM was the show!! No one will ever replace him. Billy Miller can’t be replaced either. Whereas, Victor needs to be put out to pasture. They were all intimidated by the fact that Michael stole the whole show. We tuned in to see him.
My sentiments exactly as far as Victor is concerned. Same old dialog and he mumbles and you can hardly understand what he says. I really thought MM was the future of NE as they’ve never written Nick as a strong son. I’ve been watching since the beginning too and I’m through. Watched Days from the beginning and when Peter Reckell left, I hadn’t watched since. The ruined Bo and Hope, the best thing that ever happened to Days.
I agree with you and hope that show is cancelled. Adam and Billy. What kind of madness is going on over there. Has MM really been fired because of jealousy and envy over the fact that he had a better role and was the show. Wow, that so low down. I think if I had to work with a bunch of back stabber everyday, I’d be upset too. I miss him already and hate what they’ve done to him.

Screw the other actors. They have disrespected their fans by the things they have said. They don’t give a crap about their fans so I can give that right back to them. 1000% percent correct. ALL of the actors have silently and loudly kept a solidarity about this subject. One Bad Apple. I feel bad for the actors that have to defend themselves, and their fellow co-stars. Its blatant and obvious, that MM went off the deep end. Mu understanding is that he alienated EVERYONE on that set, cast and crew alike. He picked on everyone from the stage managers, grips and cameramen. He went into tirades and refused to shoot scenes unless people were removed from his line of sight. He was trying to assume utter and complete control by usurping anyones authority and power, especially that of Victor Newman, Eric Braeden. He probably wanted to be EB. I bet the groping is just a small part of a MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM. He is talented though. Sad to see him go. But the iconic show will live on of course. The actors will get their day, to clear everyone behind the scenes who have had to silently suffer, without being able to SPILL THE REAL BEANS, about a very serious issue.
The ratings are up because of MM. Fans love and support him no matter what. The fans care about his welfare (health, family and career). The cast are talking due to pressure from fans and execs. Just like any employee in the workplace, they fear their jobs, even the rest of the staff/excess.
You would be surprised about the power of the fans. MM gives the fans a stellar performance and they will support him until the end of January.

He also insisted in the Schictor storyline that upset Sharon Case and her fan base. EB has a grudge because MM came to Sharon ‘s defense when no one had the guts to stand up for her. If you think we buy that statement you can keep dreaming “I Love GH”. I don’t believe that he’s guilty for one second. MM is a good person and doesn’t deserve what being done to him and his family. We believe in MM and want the best for him and won’t let liars tear him down.
I don’t know whose place it is. I’m sure it is very hard on MM. Accusations of harassment, unprofessionalism–he’s got hi family to think of and a livelihood that appears to be going down the toilet with each day.
And then Y&R is being hauled through the scandal sheets. I’m sure it’s not a fun time to be a Y&R employee. I just have to think that this could all have been handled better. If MM got into fights with co-workers, was he counseled? I know where I work there is a discipline route that would happen if this happened where I work. It seems like Y&R just allowed it to fester until it blew up. I don’t know as I wasn’t there.
I would hope MM is consulting with a lawyer, manager, PR, etc.

Between the tweets, the interviews and that TMZ story (which I find hard to believe was not leaked by Angelica McDaniel considering her spouse’s ties to the show) it has riled things up to the point that I don’t see people ever believing whatever is revealed as the true story. Some will always blame MM and some will always defend him.
Overall, the entire incident has soured many people on Y&R…something that could effectively kill the show. That is if the poor storylines and cast turnover and introduction of JFP pets wasn’t already stabbing a knife into it. Personally, I have not even bothered to watch because I am just not entertained by the current stories. If the show were better cast changes would have little to no effect on viewing it.

Why would Michael Muhney do this? His name has been totally trashed by TMZ and his other cast members. Eric Braeden’s egotistical interview was a condemnation of Mr. Muhney’s existence on Y&R. I like Mr. St. John, but he knows anything Mr. Muhney would say is being monitored by lawyers on all sides of this sorry mess. The best thing for all involved is to stay off of twitter and let the healing begin. I’m certain that Mr. Muhney has no desire to ever set foot near Y&R’s set. He just wants to move forward with his life. Mr. St. John should do the same.
That’s so true. The best thing for M. Muhney is say nothing and lawyer up. You see, that’s the thing I don’t get either. Why would a married man of 3 children who is on top of his game as an actor want to ” grope” some little girls breast. Hunter is a kid. There are so many beautiful age appropriate women around. It seems like they wanted him out and had to create this accusation to do it. A lot of these actors are really careful of what they do. I don’t believe he would ever do that and feel that Y&R cast are vicious and cunning.
I’m sure MM & HK are lawyered up, which is why nothing is being said. It’s a tragedy that such an icon such as Y&R is reduced to this. It breaks my heart, it really does.

I’m pretty sure Kristoff is well aware that MM is being silent on the advice of his lawyer but because many of the general public doesn’t think of this fact, it’s just another way to make MM look bad to the fans, as if his silence is an admission of guilt or his choice to hid in the shadows. It looks like Y&R PR are on their toes in what they are suggesting some cast share and what not ( elude to any MM support) to share. don’t think they aren’t being coached as to what they can and can’t say, I mean Kristoff is tweeting this now, and other damaging tweets, but on Dec 18th his tweet sounded VERY supportive of MM. Now if everyone on the set is so ‘in the know’ as Kristoff mentioned in another tweet, why was he calling MM a ‘good man’ and saying he was floored ? –

I think the two most humble actors on this show are Peter Bergman and Sharon Case. I’m at the point no matter what happens I’m through because MM was such an amazing actor and he really brought Adam to life. Tired of s/ls….. same ole same ole and really tired of how they’ve ruined Victor and Sharon. I’m done.
Well I get it, that why I don’t know why the cast members are trying to get MM to speak publicly. Maybe they’re trying to make Mr. Muhney dig himself a hole since the hole they plotted for him may not be big enough for their liking. He has no obligation to “set the record” straight. As someone else said earlier if he admits to it he opens himself to lawsuits and even maybe a criminal investigation depending on the context of said incidents– if he denies it, in this day and age of so many phony denials by scandal ridden celebs and politicians who would believe him?
In the end they fired him, he owes them nothing to help the show, but I seriously don’t think it would help even if he did speak out The show will succeed or fail based on the storytelling and the powers that be willingness to produce it.
Note to all the other actors you should say no comment and do your job, which is to act, not get involve in what is essentially a management issue- and fans should just move on and stop bugging the other actors about it, because what they think or don’t think isn’t going get anyone to hire MM back at this point.

What is shocking is that anyone would support Muhney after all the comments by his cast mates. I recall one actor that came to his defense just days after he was terminated but have not heard another word about that. There was a video also that was posted on youtube, not sure if it’s still up.

What is shocking to me is some folks can’t comprehend that others have a right to SUPPORT whomever they want; and that all these comments from Muhney’s co workers have simply shown that there is an orchestrated smear campaign going on; with no one in an official capacity at Y and R saying anything on the record of why this man was let go.
The video you seem to want to dismiss was from someone who worked CLOSELY with Muhney for the four years he was on that set. If Muhney was the monster some of his co workers are trying to insinuate he is, Ms. Case would be the one who should know first hand what his behavior on set was. She seem to support him to the FULLEST.
Mellissa Clair Egan also seem not to have joined the witch hunt and she worked closely with him. She said goodbye to him on twitter the same as she did Billy Miller.
I don’t know what record Kristoff wants Muhney to set straight but the man did say, right after he was fired his ego was out of hand and he took responsibility for his firing All the on record claims from his co workers have been about his ego and fights with Eric Breaden; NO ONE has come out on record and validated the NASTY rumor that he groped boobs, so is this the record Kristoff wants set straight????? All the claims of groping boobs have been rumored by unnamed sources. Maybe Kristoff should ask his bosses to clear the record, Muhney owes NO ONE at CBS, Y and R a damn thing.
The point that everyone seems to be missing is the fact that Sony/Cbs/JFP have All remained silent on this issue letting the news leak as it may and leaving it up to several cast members to do fan damage control instead of addressing the issue straight out. In light of these horrific allegations the only recourse for MM was and is silence. Golden for MM bad for the show. What I have a truly bad feeling of in this whole situation is this. #1 Sony/Cbs have much faith in JFP’s talents and vision for Y&R and have therefor allowed this whole debaucle to take place. They are looking at rising numbers and the fact that though you may be angry and frustrated fans for all their blustering STILL watch. They ain’t no dummies. But #2 and the worst is that Maria Arena Bell suddenly is speaking out of nowhere even after her firing. This leads me to suspect one thing. These incidents happened during the course of her tenure and in order to not mar the integrity of the Bell’s show and it’s ratings climb she squashed whatever allegations were brought forth. Once the new regime took hold whoever made these allegations went to JFP’s with the entire sordid episode(s) and JFP took action. If this is TRULY the case then MM has ALOT of explaining to do and a very damaged reputation to boot. Unfortunately this may be much truer than we all think. For the time being though, his former castmates need to STAY OFF twitter/facebook/blogs and let this whole thing play out. And it’s up to JFP’s to see that that happens and stop actors from posting willynilly trying to make MM look like a demon. SERIOUSLY!!
Daisy the video was a tribute too MM from Sharon Case saying she was going to miss her friend/coworker it is still up. Both MCE &SC have taken the high road and acted as professionals and do not discuss it on twitter. The same goes for several male co-stars. I have sent letters to those stars and personally thanked them for not slandering either party involved.
I still stand by my earlier post but in scrolling through the buzz I suddenly see a feed on @EricBraeden saying that MM wanted to punch his lights out after a particularly nasty on set shouting match. No doubt goaded on by the “moustache”. That being said suddenly something seems very fishy and afoot in Genoa City. Something ain’t right. And MM is right to be quiet and let the show shoot itself in the foot. The lawsuit coming down the pipe may not be spectacular but it will be something. Just wait on the fall out folks. IT WILL ALL come out in the end.

If it turns out the Hunter King story was a fabrication, Y&R cast are collectively guilty for not setting the record straight.
The cast has basically trashed Muhney so he owes them absolutely nothing. He’s the one who’s life is in tatters and doesn’t have a job. Last time I looked, KSJ is running around LA in his nice car and going out to dinner having a big time. Why should Muhney care if these cast members are getting blasted on twitter. My advice: Stay off twitter.
BTW, Sharon Case’s video is still posted as well as her supportive tweets for MM.

Kristoff’s character and storyline is boring and a joke… I fast forward to avoid falling asleep! Adam, Sharon, Chelsea, Jack … Those were the only story lines that kept viewers coming back!
Everyone is busy, including the cast, taking sides. What;s needed is a lie detector test or an official investigation and legal hearing prompted by a lawsuit if the accusations are not true.
Yesterday just before finally tuning out Y&R, I gave it one more try and FF-ed through all but five minutes. This confirms that my decision was based on accepting that Y&R is no longer intriguing or entertaining . The lead balloon that drags it down the most for me is Eric Braedon. His part is poorly written and barely acted.

The actors are being attacked because they chose to get involved! Here they are supporting HK without word one for MM. Were they not friends at one time? Two people are being dragged through the mud yet they can only support one of them. I would to be proud to call these people friends NOT. If I was MM and was not guilty of groping HK I would be closed up with my attorney and getting ready to file a wrongful dismissal suit. I wouldn’t say a word on social media at this time. I don’t know how it works in the acting industry but when I lived in California you had to have well documented history of someone’s work habits before firing them. I had a girl in my department that my boss told me to get rid of. It took six months of documentation and written warnings to her before we were finally able to fire her. This was in the aerospace industry. MM would really have a case if JFP brings in another GH alumni and I suspect she will. Probably Brandon Barash.
EXACTLY! I told some blogger the same exact thing on Radar Online! You “just” don’t fire someone on the spot if there has been sexual harassment! After the 1st incident MM should have been brought into JFH’s office, and put on notice, “that if this happens again you’re gone.” I have from the Corporate World also, so know that their procedure is, documentation, warnings, writing the person up, then the final act is to fire the individual.

There is one small difference– most people in the corporate world are replaceable without too much trouble. With actors, whether be film or television there is a lot of money tied up in the talent. Yes, a popular actor playing a popular role can ultimately be replaced, but you can see here there can be a lot of backlash when it happens. Most producers really do try to work these things out privately. Depending on the star there can be a lot sweeping stuff under the rug, which would not be tolerated in corporate america. But entertainment is a business and if they could not find a way to work it out then, and only then would they fired an actor, but usually they pressure them to quit or give some other reason for the dismissal that makes everyone not look so bad. In this case it does seem, even if true, someone really had an ax to grind with MM and let this get out, when it should have been private and you are right– both HK and MM have a case against management, but my guess it would be settled behind the scenes and never make it to court– someone is going to paid off here not to make a fuss– the entertainment industry and the catholic church have a lot in common in this regard.
Exactly, is this first alleged groping on file? Was he issued a warning of his behaviour then? Was he required to take some sensitivity training or other counselling after the first incident? All these are pretty standard with sexual harassment incidents in the workplace, that is unless the employee is removed from the workplace and fired for the incident in the first place. which again rarely happens 4-6 months after the fact, but rather immediately, within hours of the claim being made.
But its different for peeps in the entertainment biz because they are all under contract.
I understand K. St. John’s position, and I am not team MM in this at all, but IMO, I do not believe it is up to MM to set the record straight at this point in time. I have said this before, but it is now up to the law to research the charges, and make a decision based on the findings. As fans, we do not know the whole story, nor should we, as it is not our business really, but I am sure that there is more than meets the eye to this, and IMO, it is likely that MM would not have been fired had they not found substantial reason to do so, but I think his making a statement at this time will only add more fuel to both sides of this. I think the next statement should come from the investigating team looking into this. If I were in K. St. John’s shoes, I am sure I would feel exactly the way he does, but I am not, so as an outsider, yet a fan of the show, I think at this point, both Hunter and MM should not say a word publically. Sadly, no one gains from a situation of this nature, and so many people are adversely affected. If it is true, kudos to Hunter for having the courage to come forward, ending the harassment, and showing MM that he is not “above it all”. MM is great actor, and a huge part of the show, but there is no way he should be getting away with this behavior, no one ever should. Only time will tell, how this soap opera within a soap opera will play out, but in the mean time, I am so sorry for all of those feeling the wrath of this, including all of those involved with the show and MM’s family, and most especially Hunter. As a fan of Y & R, and MM’s work, this whole thing saddens me, and I hope it truly is being looked into legally, and a factual decision is made sooner than later, so this can end.

All we have is hearsay from some lies spread on gossip rags. All of the Y&R cast are jumping on the bandwagon in order to grab some free publicity & get their names & headshots seen. They’re actors after all. The good thing about this mess is that the fans finally get to see what these actors are like in real life. Muhney is doing nothing by be a class act on twitter during this mess, He has not bashed his coworkers as his fellow actors are doing, he is doing nothing to fan the flames. It’s obvious now to the world that behind the scenes at Y&R, there is an atmosphere of egos, backstabbing & jealousy. Its more interesting than the show itself. Ratings will go up temporarily from the gossip until Muhney departs. Then its up to the remaining actors & storylines to keep viewers interested. With all of the major talent having left the show, guessing the ratings thereafter will tank. PS. Interesting how all of this became “news” after Muhney was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in the Emmys. Hmmmm, jealousy?

EB had his drivel, they brought Jerry Douglas out of the woodwork to give his 2 cents worth, and now S’t John has a harangue. They are all fighting for their lives. They should have shut their big mouths. Now, what we see is a ganging up by everybody. They saw MM as a shining star who couldn’t obviously stand the favoritism going on there. We don’t care how long Victor has been on the show. It’s time he was put to pasture. It’s depressing just to look at his scowling face everyday.

MM acted closely with 2 of the most beautiful actors on the show…Sharon and Chelsea. We didn’t hear any rumors from them …And we are to believe that he went after ……….!???
Anyway, I can see this as the demise of Y&R. Karma serves only what we deserve . I have already started watching GH and DOOL .and it’s good bye to Y&R after the 30th. It is always nice to come home after work and watch a Soap opera. Some one once said “The people who watch Soap operas are the happiest people, because for one hour they get to forget their own lives and enter into the lives of others and share their joys and sorrows”. So we come to enjoy these episodes, and we come to know and love the actors, too.
This MM episode and the loss of Billy is huge., and leaves a bitter taste in our mouths. S’t John can preach all he wants but he is only aggravating the situation, and I have a feeling they are all looking after their own backs.
Also, after watching these other Soaps, I cannot understand how on earth Y&R ever came to be #1. Maybe, it is the Bell name, which is tarnished now.
I never was a fan of Y&R, but to this day I do enjoy the huge contribution Bill Bell made to Days of our Lives! I was not watching DAYS when Bill was head writer, but DAYS has stuck with the core family that Bill wrote. Many characters and situations still come from the work of Bill Bell. DAYS is honoring him more than Y&R does.
Y&R should focus on what Bill would do and not be using the MM and HK situation as a way for fans to not see how off the writing is.
If DAYS is honoring his work, then Y&R should more so!
If fans get tired of seeing his legacy in ruins, they can see is other DAYS.

Michael Muhney has already taken responsibility for his firing in the interview with Nelson Branco. I thought this was a mistake on many levels. It seems the show was giving him a somewhat plausible out by recasting in 3-6 months, not immediately. Muhney was the one who tweeted he was fired, then chose to do an interview. I really think that is what started all of this. The story just could have been the show has decided to take Adam in a different direction, it happens all the time. Then Branco stoked the flames with his nasy innuendo. I think if anyone is really to blame, its Branco and his lack of proffesionalism, which has gotten him into trouble before.
No way would have we have believed they would have wanted to take Adam in a different way because MM was so dynamic. NOPE!!!! we wouldn’t even believe that.
I am sure that not only MM but Angelica McDaniels as well as the BALL BUSTING CONTROLLING WITCH JFP have all been told not to speak until this is resolved. If I had a daughter who was an actress in Hollywood, or anywhere for that matter, I wouldn’t condone it, but I would tell her to expect it. Sound stages can be a hot bed for boredom for actors waiting around for their scenes to be shot, I would tell her she will know how to handle pranks and horseplay including the juvenile kind of one actor daring another actor to see if her boobs are real. I will tell she needs to know in advance what she will do if the director under the disguise of positioning her properly for her blocking casually brushing against breasts in the process. I will tell she needs to have a plan when an actor just happens to trip in front of her and her breasts are suddenly the only thing he can grab to stop his fall. Or how to handle crew members making the sound stage colder than it needs to be just to see her nipples. And most of all she will have to know what to do to protect herself from the infamous “casting couch” where she is promised a job in exchange for favors. Any parent would be foolish not to warn their daughters about this kind of this stuff, not only in acting, but modelling, music or pretty much anywhere she has to work with men.
The point being women don’t condone it, but we don’t put our heads in the sand and pretend it isn’t out there. I venture every female you know even your mother might have dealt with kind of thing in her lifetime, and if you are actress, most likely more than the rest of general population. And although reporting it to highers ups seems like the way to go, often it works against an actress so if she determine to stay in the business she should have her own means to deal with these grabbers– at least that is what I would tell my daughter.

MM was fired then a couple of days later issued his exiting interview where he stated that he was carrying a sack of hubris and the sacking was all his fault. This situation blew up because some of his costars went on twitter saying that there was more to the story instead of keeping out it. MM is not the first or last Actor to be sacked. This would have eventually died down. MM did not spread the rumour or disclose the actresses name. That came from someone else. If you want the truth then Mr St John please ask your management to please explain.
No, it blew up because a group of his fan base decided to go on the attack and started blaming EB, JFP and anyone they could for the firing because they didn’t want to believe MM brought on the firing himself. They called for boycotts, started a petition and went after actors and anyone associated with the show. They demanded answers and unfortunately they goit some. They just weren’t the answers they wanted.
Yes the fans wanted answers but so what? Let them scream and do what they want. No one needed to oblige with an answer. I think the higher ups are letting their actors be so public on social media, upsetting the fans, etc., because it takes the finger pointing away from them which is where it should be. JFP, AM, CBS, and Sony. Often when watching MM perform I thought he could easily become the new Victor in a few years. I think there is a lot more to MM’s firing than what is being said.
I feel that what is being said about Michael is unfair as I’ve been watching the soap for over 35 years and until this is resolve I refuse to watch the show now . Michael has brought so many good scene with Sharon and now with Chelsey & his son ,it brought a lot of joy to his fan and I sure hope he will deal with whatever is being said after him . Do you remember the scene when baby Conner was laying on the couch and Michael was sitting and talking to him and playing with him and the baby was just laughing and having such a good time. I will always remember how wonderful Michael was with that little actor baby. I’m sure he’s just as wonderful with his own children.

You did a great job writing that! Earlier today, I wrote that I wish DAYS had big scandals behind the scenes to go with the great storytelling!!! I’m now convinced that turmoil behind the camera helps more than the great stories in the show. If and when the Y&R fans get tired of rewarding a show for bad backstage behavior, they should reward themselves with great stories in front of the camera. Days of our Lives does not have the sick studio schlock, but it is delivering daring daytime drama and lots of fun, the way a soap should!
🙁 Use to be a big Days fan, but when Peter left and they didn’t work with him to stay, I stopped watching. Days is all about Sami and EJ and the day Bo walked out of Brady’s Pub to take Caroline to LA, I stopped.
This fiasco reminds me of the movie Soap Dish with Sally Field, Kevin Kline as the aging soap divas. Whoopee Goldberg was the soap writer and Carrie Fischer seems like she was portraying Jill Farren Phelps. It was a hoot!!
I stopped watching when they killed Delia off and started back after it was over. As of 1/30 I will not watch anymore and I guess I’ll be through with daytime soaps. They ruined Days and now Y&R.

As most of the Comments have said, MM, is not the one who needs to come clean about anything! It is not his place. The allegations are only a RUMOR from a tabloid! It seems to me, in EB’s own words, EB didn’t get along with MM, and wanted to punch MM. Interesting too that EB came to blows in the past with PB as well. From what can be gleaned from EB’s own statements and behavior, perhaps it is EB who is difficult to get along with.. And maybe, just maybe EB rubbed MM wrong due to EB’s own admitted ad-libs! MM was the future of Y&R!!! Management is the only party that can or should set things straight in any case. Start by investigating the allegations and letting the fans know! Then if MM is not guilty of the rumored behavior, MM should be rehired and other actors told to mind their business and worry about acting. Wish someone would look into Blake Hood being “let go” (fired) so abruptly. Rumors swirling it was b/c of HHK accusing him of sexual harassment too. I find this hard to believe both BH and MM would both do this to her.
I love and respect Kristoff St. John. His s/l’s have sucked and even he knows this, but he still acts his ass off and does an amazing job! I really have no idea what KSJ meant from his tweet to Michael.
I firmly do NOT believe MM would be guilty of such allegations. He’s too intelligent of a man to risk his family & career for a boob! Come on now! Secondly, people must remember that MM throws himself entirely into his characters. He lived, breathed and bled Adam Newman. If he was “difficult” on set (during scenes), its likely because he was in character and actually reading script unlike other actors/actresses who don’t follow their scripts. That likely isn’t easy to act with someone who doesn’t read their lines as you would be thrown for a loop. MM is a true professional!
I can not wait until he is vindicated! I’ve never doubted him for a second. #TeamMuhney loves and supports him no matter what and although we will miss him on our tv’s 5 times a week as our favorite character, Adam Newman; we know there is bigger & better things for Michael! Its time to shine!

The show has been so bad that most of us have watched to see our favorite actors now most of them are gone so we are not watching anymore. KSJ wouldn’t you want this type of fan support if you were fired? Well you won’t get it from me I would never abuse anyone for you.
I have no sympathy for KSJ or any of the other actors on Y&R. They should have kept their mouths shut. It was none of their business, but their egos compelled them to jump into it. They provoked the fans and then they complain of mistreatment. Well, boo hoo. They are not professional people, but they are spoiled children. Enough of their silliness. The show is over. Done.

First Michelle Stafford left, now Billy Miller is leaving and they have fired Michael. If anyone read Jerry Douglas interview he said MM is a fine young actor but very high strung and would blow up in the middle of scenes. If I was an actor and had all of my lines learned and someone like EB ad libbed in the middle of a scene I would be pissed off too. I cannot stand Victor or EB. That character is so obnoxious and thinks he has the right to control everyone. I’m thru with this show on January 30, also. Going to start watching Days instead. JFP already has brought two of her pets on board and expect she will recast Michael with another one. Probably Brandon Barash. I loved Brandon as Johnny on GH but even that will not be enough to bring me back. HK going into a coma next week, should be shipped off to the place where her mother is. I think the only good young actor on there is the kid that plays Noah and Fen does pretty good. But the rest all suck. And why did they get rid of another Kyle. Makes no sense to me except JFP is well known to destroy soaps and keeps getting hired. ????

I am done 1-30 if I can stand it till then. I have started to resent the actors saying things supporting HK. I think he is not guilty. EB probably had him fired. MM outshined him. I started taping GH. Hope MM goes there or to Days . I have watched since day one , no more. Will miss Sharon and Peter and some others. It really is enlightening to see how these people we liked are really the way they are in real life.

One of my favorite movies too. It was filmed in Lake Forest, IL and many of the scenes were shot around my grandparents home and the school my mom attended. Such a moving film. I never miss a chance to watch when it’s on TV.
Other than Sharon and Peter there is no one on that show that I will miss.
I agree, Susan. Peter Bergman and Sharon Case are the only 2 actors left worth watching, and I will truly miss them , too. The others are so mediocre, and their story lines so boring that they make it easy to stop on the 30th. ( I really don’t know if I can even last that long…but MM said he gave it his best shot, so I will just watch his scenes, even though EB being in those scenes will definitely give me indigestion.!!)

The dynamics changed and MUHNEY and MILLER stole the show. They were taking it to new and exciting places. The ruination of Billy Abbott into a dud was poor writing and maybe intended to diminish his role.

Jeannie Cooper pinching young boys crotches is unspeakable, and she got away with it. Matters not if the targets said nothing, they wanted to their jobs, no?

It’s amazing to me how people believe they know someone because they’re a fan of a character he plays on TV!!! ‘Neighbours’ EP Jason Herbison on Series Daytime Emmy Nomination: “It’s a Huge Honour to be Nominated Alongside Such Iconic US Daytime Dramas”
When the 51st annual Daytime Emmy nominations were revealed last Friday, the iconic Australian soap opera, Neighbours, made the grade as one of the nominees for this year’s Outstanding Daytime Drama Series going up against U.S. titans such as General Hospital, The Young and the Restless et al.
That is because the revival of Neighbours, which is now seen in the United States streaming on Amazon Freevee, is now eligible under the rules from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).
Not only did Neighbours receive its first Daytime Emmy nomination for Drama Series, but also for one of its legendary stars, Guy Pearce, who returned for a stint in the revival as Mike Young. Pearce is nominated for Outstanding Guest Performance in a Daytime Drama Series.

Throughout its run, Neighbours has received several nominations and wins in Australian and the UK, with this being its first nomination in the U.S.

For those who need a bit of a refresher on the revival of Neighbours. The series streams exclusively on Amazon Freevee in the UK and U.S. and on Prime Video in Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa. New episodes air daily Monday-Thursday on Amazon. The new series launched on 18 September, 2023, and picks up two years after the finale left off. In Australia, Network 10 retains first-run rights in Australia for the new chapter of the series.

Lisa Rinna Would Be Down to Reprise Her Role of Taylor McBride in ‘Melrose Place’ Reboot
When Lisa Rinna departed her popular role of Billie Reed on Days of our Lives back in 1995, her next major role would be a jump to primetime and the soapy Melrose Place.
In 1996, Lisa was introduced as new character Taylor McBride and stayed with the Fox young adult sudser for three seasons. Now in 2024, with the recent reveal that a Melrose Place revival is the works with Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton all on board to reprise their signature roles, would Rinna board the project should it come to fruition?
Speaking with PEOPLE, Rinna expressed, “Well, gosh, I’ve heard about it. I haven’t been approached or anything, but I would love to see what Taylor McBride is up to 25 years later. Wouldn’t that be something?”

OG Melrose Place fans know that in story, Taylor moved to the Melrose Place apartment building with her husband Kyle played by Rob Estes. However, Taylor had her eye on Dr. Peter Burns played by former GH star Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco). But, by the time she had moved to the apartment complex, Peter had married tough as nails ad executive, Amanda Woodward, played by Heather Locklear.
Recalling her time on Melrose Place, Rinna added that it, “was one of my greatest and most fun acting experiences, playing Taylor and working with Heather and the whole crew.” Rinna also noted, “So if they need a Taylor McBride appearance, they know who to call. I’m around.”

The new Melrose Place is in development at CBS Studios. In the premise of the reboot, the Melrose Place residents reunite after the death of one of their friends, “but the pressure cooker of a reunion soon uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments, and reveals new secrets… throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”

Sean Kanan’s Stepdaughter, Juliet Vega, to Appear on The Bold and the Beautiful
Coming up on this Friday’s April 26th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Juliet Vega, the stepdaughter to Sean Kanan will make an appearance on the CBS daytime drama series in the role of Michele.
Keeping it “All in the Family”, the character is named after Juliet’s real-life mother, and Kanan’s wife, writer and producer, Michele Kanan.
Back in 2012, Sean married Michele Vega and thus began their blended family which included his daughter, Simone, and Michelle’s children, Peter, Gigi, and her twins, Annie and Juliet.

According to a B&B show spokesperson, Juliet’s B&B character is intentionally named Michele in honor of her mother and Sean’s wife.
While we don’t know how “Michele” shows up in story, it is the same episode that Clint Howard makes an appearance as well seemingly tied to the case of where in the world is Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)?

We can’t imagine that Juliet wouldn’t get the opportunity to mix it up on-screen with her stepdad, Sean Kanan. Previously, the two acted together in Sean’s streaming series Studio City, where she played the role of Delilah and he played soap actor, Sam Stevens. In it, Delilah is the bio-daughter Sam never knew he had.
