Finally, U.S. audiences will get to see season five of the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated series from across the pond, Downton Abbey!

As the season begins this Sunday, Lady Mary, the oh-so-talented Michelle Dockery,is front and center! The question is: after having two suitors last season Lord Tony Gillingham (Tom Cullen) and Charles (Julian Ovenden), has she  made her choice for her next lover ? Will she hit the sheets with one of these handsome and sexy gents?  Can she put aside her past with the deceased Matthew, and build a life for herself and her child with someone new?

According to TV Guide, “Mary considers a gentleman caller’s indecent proposal as they converse in her bedroom. Her one caveat if she is to agree to the tryst: ‘No one must ever find out.”‘  As far as which gent she choose between Charles and Lord Gillingham, Dockery shared “She’s leaning toward one of them … but both are handsome, eligible men.”

“The forging of a second marriage is a complicated business,” executive producer Gareth Naeme of Downton Abbey related.

So which gent do you want to see Lady Mary with?  Charles or Tony?  Let us know in the comment section below, and remember to tune-in Sunday night, January 4th to PBS Masterpiece for episode one of season five beginning at 9PMET/8CST!

I hope it’s Lord Gillingham because he’s drop dead gorgeous. Not that Charles is ugly either.
