The Bold and the Beautiful’s very own Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter) has not only been busy in front of the camera, but behind the scenes at the CBS Daytime soap opera.  News today out of Soap Opera Digest is that Lawrence has penned the upcoming Friday, January 16th episode of the series!

The actor/writer explained how it all came to pass when B&B’s executive producer and head writer, Brad Bell asked Lawrence if he would like to write an episode!

In tomorrow’s episode, Saint-Victor explained what viewers will see:  “Maya follows up with Carter about their last conversation regarding Rick. That will be interesting (Laughs)!  We also see Caroline and Ridge contemplate if they’re ready to move forward together and Maya’s baby sister, Nicole (Reign Edwards), makes her introduction. It was fun, but it was a little scary, too!”

Apparently the script went so well, that another one of Saint-Victor’s penned episodes will air this February!

So, what do you think about Lawrence getting a chance to write episodes of B&B? Comment below!

The words that come out of our favorite characters mouths are the driving force behind daytime..he worked off BradleyBell’s penned outline which more or less was most likely word for word per each scene with a smattering of Lawrence color thrown in…not impressed…write an outline without a guidepost of narrative and let that person loose…then you will know the true outcome of a true writer. I can prove it. Send me an outline with no guideposts except my understanding of the characters and my day to day watching and B&B would be a different animal.

The man has talent, its a pity they don’t give him a woman to make his character more interesting….Would love to see him and Donna in a pairing…

I’m sure Victoria Rowell will be knocking on Brad’s door to bring Drucilla to life in L.A.

Mo…no offense here…but p-l-e-a-s-e D-O N-O-T scare me like that!!!!! Y&R DOES NOT want Victoria Rowell back at all and Brad Bell would not be that crazy or foolish enough to add that DIFFICULT DIVA/PRIMA DONNA VR to his B&B canvas. AIN’T NO WAY!!!!!

It was kinda a joke because Victoria wanted to write while she was at Y&R and here is an actor getting a shot at also writing. So tongue in cheek. Wink wink.

I think he used to have a web series if memory serves. I say more power to any writer that will get them pushing stories forward and not all about “threesomes.”

This post makes it sound like Lawrence wrote the whole ep by himself, yet he was one of three co-writers for the episode. That should have been mentioned in this post.

How To Get Away With Murder

Rome Flynn Joins Netflix Series ‘Dear White People’ for its Fourth and Final Season

Daytime Emmy-winner and former How to Get Away with Murder star, Rome Flynn, will be part of the fourth and final season of Netflix’s Dear White People.

Flynn who played Zende on The Bold and the Beautiful and Gabriel Maddox on HTGWM will now recur in the role of David, opposite Antoinette Robertson.

Dear White People is set against the backdrop of a predominantly white Ivy League university where racial tensions bubble just below the surface. The satirical series — which picks up where the 2014 Sundance hit left off – follows a group of Winchester University’s students of color as they navigate a diverse landscape of social injustice, cultural bias, political correctness (or lack thereof) and activism in the millennial age.

Rome joins a cast that includes: Marques Richardson, Logan Browning, Brandon P. Bell, Robertson, DeRon Horton, John Patrick Amedori and Ashley Blaine Featherson.

Deadline broke the casting news.   No word yet on a season premiere date.

Following the reveal of his new gig, Flynn tweeted: “Being apart of this final season of @DearWhitePeople is crazy. This is one of my favorite shows. again. I’m honored. @netflix #DWP”

So, will you be checking out Rome on Dear White People? Comment below.

OLTL & DAYS Alum Melissa Archer Mourns the Loss of Her Father to COVID-19

Covid-19 has now taken over 500,000 lives in the United States, and it’s heartbreaking to hear the stories of loved ones being separated by this virus in their time of need.

Now comes word from former One Life to Live and Days of our Lives actress, Melissa Archer (Ex-Natalie, Ex-Serena), that she lost her beloved father to Covid-19.

Melissa shared her thoughts in a beautifully written post which we have posted here.

In her Instagram post, Archer shared: I never wanted to imagine what losing a parent would feel like. I knew it would happen one day, but it always seemed so far in the future. My dad was so young. Covid is so evil. He fought hard – 51 days away from his family – even made it to his birthday. But the Lord decided to relieve him of his suffering and bring him home to Him. I know my dad will live on in so many people. He touched the lives of many and wanted so much for all to know and see the good in the Lord. I’m grateful for the memories. I’m grateful we got to do some amazing things together over the years. While there were times I didn’t appreciate him, he patiently waited for me to come back around. Sounds like another Father I know. I’m sad that I can’t call him right now to tell him how sad I am about not having him here to call. That I won’t ever hear the words missy poo pot pie again, that I won’t hear him look at a sign and say the words in a silly voice and think it’s funny (I now do this), that I won’t hear him sing with his band again, or have him say how much he loves his girls. But I know he’s in heaven, doing all those things, and I know he’s watching out for us. I hope he’s enjoying the beauty of heaven and all the promises we’ve been given. I hope he sees the rest of the fam that’s in heaven and rejoicing in their freedom.”

Please send your condolences and thoughts and prayers to Melissa and her family via the comment section below.
