Last night on the September edition of Soap Nation Live with Michael Fairman, we welcomed our very special in-studio co-host General Hospital’s Laura Wright (Carly) for a lively and entertaining, and revealing 90 minute broadcast.

Michael and Laura welcomed their “Soap Nation Live Hottie Night” line-up of guests throughout the show which included: General Hospital’s Ryan Paevey (Nathan), Dancing with the Stars, and former GH star (Ex-Jagger Cates) Antonio Sabato Jr, and Days of our Lives Greg Vaughan (Eric)!

Laura discussed throughout the episode myriad of hot button GH topics including, Carly’s current romantic entanglement with Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Franco (Roger Howarth), and how things really twist and turn in the weeks to come.

The Daytime Emmy winner also chats on Billy Miller taking over the role of Jason, which was previously played by her longtime scene partner Steve Burton, and how important the Carly/Jason relationship is, and how she is looking forward to working with Billy Miller, and that in fact they are shooting scenes together coming up soon!

Ryan Paevey (Nathan) during his segment talked about the scene this week on General Hospital, where Maxie and Nathan finally share their first kiss after stabbing or shooting people, and working with Kirsten Storms (Maxie)!  And he reveals what it has been like seeing the overwhelming fan response, especially from the ladies, in such short time to his first daytime soap role.  Paevey also shared he hasn’t been privy thus far to the Intel of who Nathan’s real biological father is given the twist this week on GH where we learned it isn’t Victor Cassadine (Thaao Penghlis), and the sexy star shared some cooking tips! He is quite the cook and much more as you will hear!

Antonio Sabato Jr. talked about his debut this week on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars ,and how it felt to have  to dance first of all the celebrity contestants for the new season, and live in front of the studio and at-home viewing audience! Antonio also talked about what it’s been like to try to learn the new dance routines with two-time DWTS pro dance champ, Cheryl Burke!  In addition, he shared his memories as Jagger Cates on GH and says he would love to return some time in the future if he was asked back.  And Antonio, like Ryan Paevey, talks about their construction talent, but Antonio has taken that a step further with his new syndicated series, Fix It or Finish It!

During his segment, Greg Vaughan talks about Eric’s on-air and priestly struggles on Days of our Lives, and recalls working on General Hospital with co-host Laura Wright as Lucky Spencer, and managing a soap career and being the dad of three young boys. He also reveals what he hopes will happen to  the former “Father” Eric Brady in the future and much more!

Now below listen to the entire broadcast of Soap Nation Live! with co-host Laura Wright, and then let us know what your favorite moment of the show was?

Michael Fairman…I absolutely LOVED this program. Laura was a great cohost…and Ryan, Antonio and Greg couldn’t have been more pleasant and charming!

Ryan: “I’m feeling a bit doughy!” Hahahahaha…that was too funny…and he actually meant it! It was so much fun to hear Ryan (who plays my new favorite GH character, Nathan)…being so sweet, intelligent and personable. He’s not only stunning…he sounds like a sweetheart!

The entire show was completely fun and entertaining!

I’m not sure if I need ASJ back at GH at this point (none of his co-stars is really around, except for KMc), although he had a nice reunion with Robin on the second season of GH:Night Shift.

Oh well, of course there’s Sonny, too, but you get my drift.

Kristian Alfonso Bids Farewell to DAYS as Final Episode Airs Today Sharing; “Thank YOU From The Bottom Of My Heart For Welcoming Me Into Your Homes All Of These Years”

Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 marks the final appearance of Kristian Alfonso’s iconic run as Hope Williams on NBC’s Days of our Lives, a role she played on and off for more than 37 years.  Make no mistake about it, Alfonso was a staple of Salem and the DAYS family since she made her debut back in 1983.

However, over the summer viewers learned she would not be returning to the show when the series began production again in September, after she was told they were planning on resting the character of Hope for five months or so.  A decision that prompted Kristian to make a decision to leave the show for good and start a new chapter in her life.

To celebrate her run and to say a thank you to everyone at the show and her enduring fans, Kristian posted a video on her Instagram account of some backstage moments through the years to the tune of “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life”.  She accompanied her post with these words of thanks to everyone that has been by her side every step of the way:  “Being today is my last airshow, I wanted to share some of my favorite memories onset & behind the scenes I hope you enjoy it.  Thank YOU from the bottom of my heart for welcoming me into your homes all of these years.  And making me a part of your lives #xoxo ❤️  Thank you Ken & @nbcuniversal @nbc for a #beautiful #ride . #❤️ #😘”
