good for him,I have a very close friend who went through hell because he is gay,he never could come out and tell friends and family because he was afraid to ,In my heart I always knew he was special ,we were kids together,so i grew up knowing this person and loving him for who he is.and when he finally came out with it life was better for him and his family and friends, shouldnt have to keep anything locked up inside.

Not sure why anyone would be surprised at his announcement. I met him at a soap event and knew right away he was gay. Nice guy, so what?

Of course. Aren’t all the most attractive men gay? Coming out seems a little passe to me, but I live in a big city where nobody cares about sexual preference anymore.

“After much speculation and rumors, former Guiding Light heartthrob and now starring on … ”

That’s the problem with society. There shouldn’t never had been “speculation” and “rumors” in the first place. People need to learn to mind their own business in life and stop interfering on others.
