Michael Muhney Fans Ban Together To Raise Funds To Fly Banner Over CBS In Protest Of His Dismissal!

Outraged fans of Michael Muhney’s (Adam Newman) who are upset by his firing from The Young and the Restless have gotten together and plan to fly a banner via a plane over CBS Studios in West Hollywood protesting the dismissal of their favorite actor!
According to TMZ.com, “The fan group on facebook has gotten together $785 to pay for a banner that will soon fly over CBS Studios in Los Angeles with a message saying, “NO ADAM NEWBIE, JUST MICHAEL MUHNEY.”
This is nothing new for passionate fans of the number one soap who did the same thing when the very popular Daniel Goddard (Cane) was supposedly let-go from the series at that time back in 2011!
Of course, all of this is happening as more of the behind-the-scenes drama that caused the popular actor’s ousting has made its way around the Internet, especially after TMZ.com over the weekend revealed that Muhney was allegedly fired for groping a co-stars breasts on two occasions. Muhney has already finished taping back on December 21st with his last airdate to run on January 30th.

‘Brilliant Minds’ Officially Canceled After 2 Seasons at NBC; DAYS Alum Al Calderon, OLTL Alum Teddy Sears and Zachary Quinto Among the Cast
After languishing on the bubble for months, on Friday, NBC handed down the decision and canceled the medical drama Brilliant Minds after two seasons.
Brilliant Minds stars Zachary Quinto as neurology physician Oliver Wolf, who’s character and the series is inspired by the life and books of neurologist. Oliver Sacks. The series focuses on the medical mysteries of the mind, as Wolf a larger-than-life neurologist and his team of interns explore the last great frontier, the human mind, while grappling with their own relationships and mental health.
The final six episodes of what will now be the end of its second and final season were already set to air beginning on May 27, after being pulled off the network schedule in February as viewership saw a steep decline. Brilliant Minds second season became the lowest-rated drama on linear TV viewing, which didn’t bode well fo a network renewal, although it had its hard core fan base.

There are some exceptional notables in the cast along with the talented Quinto that includes Days of Our Lives alum, Al Calderon (ex-Javi Hernandez) who joined the series in its second season as Nurse Nico Silva, and One Life to Live alum, Teddy Sears (ex-Chad Bennett) who plays Wolf’s love interest and fellow physician, Dr. Josh Nichols.
The rest of the talented cast includes: Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Donna Murphy, John Clarence Stewart, and Brian Altemus.
In an ironic twist of fate on Thursday, April 30, Days of Our Lives finally revealed the actor who was Al Calderon’s successor in the role of Javi, when they announced that actor Jacob Martinez had now stepped into the role. Since DAYS tapes ten months ahead of streaming new episode, Calderon left in the spring of 2025, but will be seen in the part for the final part this month, and then on June 20, Martinez debuts as Salem’s new Javi.
Taking to his Instagram with a sorrowful and heartfelt post on the Brilliant Minds cancellation was Teddy Sears who wrote, “Thank you, Brilliant Minds. I got the call today and I didn’t want to hear, but I knew that it would come, You have to be a particular vintage to quote Don Henley from memory, but that’s the line that came to mind earlier today after I got off the phone with our inimitable showrunner Michael Grassi who delivered the news that NBC has cancelled the series”.

Sears continued, “To say that I feel sad to be moving on from these stories, this character, and this cast and crew just doesn’t paint the entire picture. I’m sad, sure. But I’m also deeply grateful that I got hired to play this part, so proud of the stories we told, and the other actors I got to play alongside. I’m excited to see what comes next, what adventures await, and terrified to be without a professional home. A quick and heartfelt thank you to everyone, all over the globe, who found us and found themselves in us, in our characters and in our stories. We wouldn’t have been able to tell them without you. And we still have 6 fresh episodes yet to air, and I do hope you tune in enjoy the remainder of the series. They’re the best we’ve done.”
As he wrapped up his sentiments, Sears signed off with, “The more I know, the less I understand. All the things I figured out I have to learn again. I’ve been trying to get down to the heart of the matter. But everything changes…Thank you, Brilliant Minds.”
The medical drama was created and executive produced by Michael Grassi alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Lee Toland Krieger, DeMane Davis, Jasmine Russ, Henrik Bastin, Jonathan Cavendish, Andy Serkis and Shefali Malhoutra.

‘General Hospital’s’ Jonathan Bennett Receives 3 ‘Critics Choice Real TV Awards’ Nominations for Hallmark Series, ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’
Many things are coming up roses for Jonathan Bennett! On the heels of the news that he is set to debut this month in the role of Joe Fitzpatrick on General Hospital, who is rumored to be a new love interest for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), comes the news that Bennett’s reality series, Finding Mr. Christmas has received 3 nomination for the Critics Choice Real TV Awards.
Bennett’s Hallmark Channel series finds itself in tough competition alongside fellow nominees: RuPaul’s Drag Race (MTV), Squid Game: The Challenge (Netflix), Survivor 50 (CBS), Top Chef (Bravo) and The Traitors (Peacock). In addition, Jonathan himself is nominated for Best Show Host and the series participants as the Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series.
The Critics Choice Association (CCA) revealed the nominees for the eighth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on Thursday, which recognize excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Winners will be announced online at CriticsChoice.com on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET.

Taking to his Instagram to celebrate the nominations, GH’s Bennett, enthused, “3 Critic Choice Nominations! I’m so proud of the FINDING MR CHRISTMAS and to be in the company of all the legends in all these categories is so surreal! Congrats to Hallmark Channel and to our nominated cast and nominated show and everyone who made this magical show possible. This is crazy! This gives FMC 6 Critics Choice nominations in 2 years. Not bad for a little show on Hallmark Channel. In the series, Bennett, the host and co-creator spends eight weeks guiding 10 aspiring actors through a series of “festive face-offs” and acting challenges alongside actors like soap opera notables, Hunter King (ex-Summer, Y&R) and Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS). Along the way, they develop their skills and a bond with one another. The show, which is available on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Plus, highlights LGBTQ+ representation with openly gay contestants vying to be the next Hallmark star.
It should be noted that Traitors received the most Critics Choice Real TV Award nominations with 6 nods, followed by Dancing with the Stars with 4.
Bennett is very familiar to daytime fans having started his career as JR Chandler on All My Children in 2000-2001, before landing the part of Aaron Samuels in the motion picture, Mean Girls in 2004 starring Lindsay Lohan, which would become his breakout performance.

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?
On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.
As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.
Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Daytime Emmy winner, Kelly Thiebaud spoke to Soap Opera Digest, about the story point and getting the opportunity this time back at GH to work with Ryan Paevey, when she hadn’t had the chance to before.
BROTHERLY LOVE?
Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”
With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”
BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE
Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”

I certainly hope you’re not in human resources. Again, stop attacking the alleged accuser. Michael Muhney has asked his fans on Twitter to be kind to everyone and quoted Ben Franklin who said. “Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see.” Slamming the young lady is not helping anyone, most notably, it’s not helping Michael Muhney. You can defend HIM without slamming HER especially considering all we have to go on is not second hand information, it’s third hand information. We simply don’t know what may or may not have happened.

Agreed. But it’s not just a faction (not all) of MM fans who are blaming the victim. After JFP and CBS were hit with a chit storm of angry fans, suddenly this story is leaked out and TMZ reveals the name of the accuser . The breadcrumbs lead to the a certain TMZ executive who is married to the head of CBS daytime. It is an employers’ job to provide a safe and secure environment and leaking her name to the media has put her safety at risk. She did not want her name out there. Heads are going to roll over this and I don’t mean just MM’s.
I agree with you Harry. Heads should roll. None of this should have been leaked to TMZ for HK’s or MM’s sake. What an HR and PR nightmare. TPTB really handled this situation about as badly as possible. It was a private, personnel matter that should have been handled by PR professionals way before any announcements were made. I’m sure there are a lot of behind the scenes shenanigans that go on in the entertainment industry that fans never know and don’t need to know.

How is this inappropriate? What TMZ has reported is not proven fact. There has been no evidence shown to the public and neither party has spoken out. Could he be guilty? Of course, but people like you, MBmomof3, need to also realize he could be innocent. Not every report of sexual inappropriateness is fact. No one here is blaming “the victim.” Because, in this case, there are two victims. Both actors names are now out there under a horrible circumstance, without any evidence or cause. Michael Muhney fans still have a right to support their favorite actor.

I feel just as defensive of Michael and his family especially. We simply don’t know the true story and until we do, we should not be slamming either actor.
These women are literally insane and can’t even for a second put themselves in the position of Hunter King. This could be their 19-year-old daughter (or niece) that Michael Muhney sexually harassed and they don’t care.

I am sorry, but the “Mensa defense” offered above by a Muhney supporter is one of the most illogical posts I’ve seen about this mess. How does having a high I.Q. prevent one from displaying bad behavior or making stupid choices? Very smart people can and do make stupid behavioral choices, especially ones ruled by emotion or instinct rather than by intellect. Intellectually a smart person may know something is wrong, but still be compelled to do it for emotional or behavioral reasons.

Due process was done, not all disputes are settled in court. Many are settled out of court. Seems like this was the case here. The HR department for SONY or CBS investigated the charges and obviously concluded MM had engaged in behavior worthy of termination. IF MM felt the he was wrongly terminated, he would have stated so in his exit interview. Instead he admitted that he had indeed done something wrong. I hope you aren’t suggesting or hoping that HK takes MM to court. I doubt MM wants that and is glad HK did not decide to do that. MM’s supporters don’t realize all their support is a double-edged sword for him.

Unfortunately for me I cannot enjoy his last shows on screen because whenever I see Adam on the show all I can see now is MM and think about the rumors. The magic of acting is the ability to suspense disbelief and imagine what you are seeing is real. These rumors have broken that bubble for me so now I don’t see Adam just MM. It is a shame because I would have like to really savor these last few performances of his.
Sometimes as a fan of any show it is best not to know too much about the actor’s private lives and just enjoy the performance.

If the allegations are true, this is ridiculous. There is a time to fight when an injustice has occurred. But, if this young girl has been violated, shouldn’t the concern be directed to her? Michael Muhney is a good actor, but again if the allegations are true, this goes way beyond a character being taken off the canvas.
Michael needs to speak. He needs to make a statement. I believe he is innocent but I certainly do not know the man. I spoke up for him because I am a fan of his work. However, this does not excuse anyone, no matter if it is him or another of violating a persons mind, body, or privacy. Speak up Michael, defend yourself. The longer you keep quiet, the worse off you will be. As for a recast, life goes on, either way brother.

Why would lawyers be involved? Unless HK pressed charges, which would imply that MM did do something, there is no need for lawyers. MM has not specifically denied the charges because he knows he is guilty. Even praised JFP in the interview with Branco and said she handled the situation well. He also stated he had been let go because of his own actions.
Unfortunately Tim at this stage of the game and in the world we live in a denial is pointless. I live near Toronto Canada, and heard the mayor of the city Rob Ford deny over and over how innocent he was. I heard sports legend Lance Armstrong deny doping allegations. I heard Bill Clinton say he did not have sexual relations with that woman. They all lied. In fact it seems the more guilty there are the more than claim they are innocent. So even if he is innocent and denied it people would not believe him. If MM is smart he will keep his mouth shut– he doesn’t have to defend himself, he is innocent until proven guilty and if he is guilty then I for one do not need to hear his insincere apology, because in reality they are never sorry for what they did only sorry they got caught.
Didn’t that mayor excuse his smoking crack by claiming he was drunk when he did so? That cracked me up (no pun intended).
I agree wholeheartedly with Mary SF. Even if Michael Muhney were to come out and make a statement, compose a tweet, do an interview, whatever, it wouldn’t matter at this point. People are divided over this and those who believe he did it would not believe him if he claimed innocence. Sadly, this will probably haunt his career for the rest of his life, whether he is guilty or not.
Please for the sake of everybody involved move on and let the healing try to begin. The allegations have been made and now some goof ball out there thought it would shut everybody up if they threw the story out there it only hurt the show. This show is in such a mess as it is this only hurt it I do not know who had the brilliant idea to let this get out but a lot of heads should be rolling. Disagree with DD on this one JFP handled this all wrong also.

The only thing Muhney’s ever admitted is that he is outspoken, which he is, especially about the treatment of the actors by the industry. If he had seriously been such a big problem on the set, especially for the five years he had been there already, then why did JFP, Sony, Steve Kent, Angelica McDaniel and CBS Daytime ask the man to sign a new contract for another two years’ worth of work? Something’s rotten in Denmark, and I highly doubt that it’s Muhney!
My personal opinion? Muhney and Billy Miller, who quit because outs were not negotiable on his upcoming contract, were way more popular that JFP’s “golden boy” (and massively exclusive contracted) Steve Burton. He and his character of Dylan just weren’t catching on with fans; Miller & Muhney (who had made even an alleged child-killer human and caring) were both hugely loved by the fans. Dylan and Burton weren’t. Get rid of the two best male actors on the show, and who is going to step in and get the major storylines, screen time and face time? Burton. In less than a year, he’s already gone from homeless vet just in town to owner of the Crimson Lights (an iconic eatery first owned by Nick & Sharon!), having 2 relationships with a half-brother’s fiancee and a stepbrother’s ex-wife, been father to Adam’s child, worked for Billy (and befriended his half-sister), befriended his former sister-in-law & charmed her child (Sharon & Faith), been involved in Kevin & Chloe’s storylines (purchasing CL, being Delia’s friend, mourning her death), and now is the son of one of the major core families in town (Nikki Reed Newman’s long-lost, never before mentioned baby) with a cult leader, which also involved Christine and Paul because of Paul’s connection to Nikki during the time she was in the commune! The man’s had his finger in everyone’s pie since he arrived in January last year, but fans don’t care for him or the actor. Why not get rid of two amazing actors to forward your friend’s chances? Wouldn’t put it past JFP, myself.
And if there’s more to the story, I’m sure we’ll be hearing it from Muhney himself. Personally, I think he’s stacking up all kinds of things against CBS, Y&R, JFP, TPTB and Hunter King before making his “I’m going to sue” announcement…

And cheer up we still have EB mumbling thru his scenes and he is still there after assaulting an actor but I guess that was not grounds for dismissal. The fact he has made comments on this matter makes my skin crawl.
Excellent assessment. Something is really fishy about this whole matter-whether or not there is truth to the MM allegations. Has anyone been in a job situation where you thought everything was going great but someone appeared on the scene and suddenly statements were made about you and your personality that weren’t true ? Prior to the arrival of this new employee,you were seen as a hard worker, came to work on time but suddenly when the new guy came around you were found fault with even by the HR department that had liked you so much. The HR department even brought you in to sign a form indicating a description of yourself that even your own mother would cry about because it was so false. And of course in these cases there are witnesses HR lines up to attest to your alleged behavior. In the meantime you have many friends at work who invite you out socially and appear to appreciate the job you do.
Look this happens everyday in the work force of America. Not only in Hollywood. They -HR -just want to go with the new person who a higher up favors. This happened to me not an actor but a dentist. I had moved from another state, bought a car and then this catastrophe happened-The more I protested the more lies were put out there. The character assassination hurt more than losing the job. But the head of the health center who fired me and other doctoral staff as part of her staff shakeup was dismissed 5 years later when no doctors wanted to apply to work there any longer.These hatchet men/women like JFP- they get their just reward eventually for disposing of personnel.

I agree with you 100%. The downfall of Michael Muhney and Billy Miller as well as The Young and The Restless started when JFP came on board as EP. She has to make room for all her friends. As far as firings go, everyone knows if a Company or your boss does not want you there they can get rid of anyone they want to. Michael could outshine them all. He will shine again, whether it is on the set of Young and the Restless, (Never say never, he could be back) Primetime, or in the movies. His ego is big and inflated, so what, his talent is even bigger and it shows in his work. I cannot wait to see him in something else. In the meantime, I am one of those Muhney Fans who wants that banner to fly high for him. For all his hard work and enjoyment we have had watching him on our t.v. screens. Him and Chelsea and that baby were the best you could ask for. They will never capture that again. He and Sharon were magical as Shadam. Some of the best Y&R had to offer. When you have a good thing and it is not broke, don’t mess with it. You can never go back and capture that magic again. No one can play Adam Newman but Michael Muhney. No one. Also I want Y&R exec. to know they really screwed up the day they fired Michael Muhney. All his fans will stop watching on Jan. 31st.

Geez, why don’t they raise funds to fly a banner which reads “Free OJ”? Really, I think MM is a brilliant actor and will miss his character but if I am going to raise money for a cause, it’s not going to be for an actor making well into the six figures annually and who may be guilty of sexual harassment. And speaking of TMZ, they revealed themselves to be the scumbags of all gossip rags by revealing the name of Michael’s accuser. Now she is hit with a hail storm of enraged MM fans’ wrath and her safety and security is at risk.
This situation can, in no way, be compared to the one of OJ Simpson. If what Michael Muhney is accused of is true, he was only sexually inappropriate. He allegedly touched her boobs. Going with that story, and not assuming there is anything more, he did not rape her, he did not murder her. He did not commit a capital crime, nor has he been accused of committing one.
Oh come on don’t be silly–this is figurative thinking. Not comparing them at all–just using hyperbole to convey how insane this situation has become.

We’ve all heard the rumors and the stories both past of present about MM, so by now I would think most people would be able to make their assumption and move on.

PatF, his firing, without these circumstances and allegations involved, does not mean that he would not come back to the show “ever”. As Michael Fairman stated in this article, Daniel Goddard was fired and brought back, assumingly, by fan efforts; same with the actress, Rebecca Herbst, on General Hospital, among others.
However, with this scandal hitting several media outlets and social media, it is highly doubtful that he will return, I agree. But these efforts by Michael Muhney’s fans were started pre-scandal and they are following through because they are passionate and that is something to be respected. May it be a waste of time and money? Sure, but it is their choice to make.
Nikki, DG wasn’t fired for “cause”. This is a dismisses due to some type of behavior that has yet to come out. It’s not the same. He won’t be back. Not the same. Sorry.
I think Y & R should shut down production until the cast can come to grips with all that has happened.
The purpose of the plane is not to bring him back necessarily but to show our support to an actor who has help make this show what it is for the last 4ys #1.Of course we as Michael Muhney fans are saying no one else can play the character of Adam Newman and own it like him. some of the dumb comments made on this blog makes me sick to my stomach. It seems that we live in a society where people want to have a person tar and feather not waiting on the truth but running high off a rumor. No proof just rumors. Just so you know we are also raising money to donate to his cancer fund. You say if this was your daughter, how about if this was your son? Wouldn’t you want to know the truth before people threw everything at him except the kitchen sink. His family knows the truth and are standing behind him 100% and as long as he has his family behind him that’s all he needs. So stop all this noise and anger and use that energy for something else. This is an actor who has been terminated for inappropriate behaviour…do you really think he WANTS this job back??? That 785 could be much better spent on helping the homeless or helping victims of recent severe weather. In the grand scheme of life this is very minute. We all need to take a step back and realize this is a fictional show. Actors come…actors go…and Michael Muhney is gone. Lets move on.
I have always been a fan of MM…he is one of the best actors on soaps or anywhere.if he’s innocent, he has to come out & say so & sue those that slandered him…..Unless he speaks out we will never know the whole truth….This is so sad for everyone.i don’t know if Y&R can survive….it has been going downhill for many months way before these allegations.
I am totally embarrassed to read this. I would be shocked but nothing shocks me after the OJ verdict. Soap fans are the laughingstock of the mainstream entertainment world already. The molestation story, and yes this young actress was moolested, is well sourced and I have yet to read a denial by any of the parties. This type of fanaticism hurts a genre that is I already dying. Even Young and Restless has Ilost huge numbers of viewers and networks only tolerate so much slippage.
Regardless of what happened (if anything at all) between Michael Muhney and Hunter King, this whole matter could and should have been handled quietly and kept under wraps rather than be put out there for the public and embarass all those concerned. Michael Muhney is such an excellent actor and portrayed the role of “Adam” so well that he absolutely cannot and should not be replaced by anyone. The main reason that this show was so good was because Mr. Muhney brought so much excitement and drama to his character and made this show what it is (or was). To the powers that be at Y&R, you need to seriously rethink your very poor decision and re-hire Mr. Muhney immediately, unless you do not care that your ratings will be strongly affected. There are certain people that cannot be replaced, and HE is one of them!!
But the crazy soap fans demanded information and said nasty things about the producer and other actors. The entire cast and crew knew what happened as did the soap press. Supposedly the whole story was on the Internet within days of the firing.

Wow.all of you people that are so into a fictional CHARACTER…… Each and every one of you act as though you are on first name basis with MM. You cannot forget he is an actor; which means he can act anyway, anytime he wants. Acting innocent at this time would be to his advantage. I still say that if he was innocent, he would have already been defending himself. I still say all the bashing of the young lady, shame on all of you. Whether you know it or not, there is not one of any of us that know…but why make a young lady feel as though she is the ONLY guilty one here. And like a couple have said……how would you feel if it was your daughter/sister?

This is so out of hand. If there were any irreplaceable actors on Y&R, and I am opposed to that general idea in the first place, MM would not be one of them. If you don’t like the show, or if you only like because of certain actors, then don’t watch. Enough already.

I just wanted to set the record straight about some people’s statements that Y&R is losing viewers. As for me, it is true that I have almost 100% tuned out, and I think many of us agree that the show is in trouble creatively and qualitatively. However, Y&R’s viewers have surged. Daily viewers for the 4th quarter of 2013 averaged above the 5 million mark, up 9% over the prior year. That’s pretty impressive and remarkable, given today’s daytime television landscape. I don’t like Y&R these days either, but let’s give credit where credit is due. Actually, the cynic in me wouldn’t be surprised if this scandal brought more pairs of eyes to this already popular show.
Sharon Case is openly standing behind MM, if this story was actually true, do you think she would risk her job by doing so? She clearly does not think it right & wasn’t afraid to make i known. After fans became upset & outraged, saying they wouldn’t watch, Doug D tweeted & then deleted it wasn’t JFP fault. It was deleted cause MM could sue him & CBS for slander. Bell just said how great MM was, then changes her story. Put it together, this is a smear campaign so Y&R does not loose viewers!!!!

They said her costars openly talked about her groping them on several occations. If that was stopped, this may have never happened. What’s your take on it?

I feel like they need to regroup. Shutdown and start over with new actors, new stories, new title. So much for 40 years and 25 years at number 1. More drama behind the scenes than on the screen.
This is really kind of pathetic. Now that we know why he was fired, people are still defending him? Even the female soap viewers?
It’s important to not make assumptions about things we do not have all the facts about. First, if there wasn’t enough evidence to support his firing, it would not have happened. Second, issues of sexual harassment are taken very seriously. It’s important to remember that there should be ZERO TOLERANCE in the work place for it so for that, if this happened more than once YES he should have been fired weeks ago. However, they do have to investigate all claims before rendering a decision so unfortunately something inappropriate had to have taken place for him to be dismissed.
I like the character of Adam he is a very complex and easily hateable/likable character. With that said MM has had issues in the past so let’s let Y&R figure this mess out and reserve judgement until the facts are released if they ever are.
