This past Sunday on October 13th, One Life to Live’s Jerry verDorn (Clint), and Guiding Light and Venice favorite Liz Keifer (Ex-Blake) once again hosted their annual Daytime Stars and Strikes event for the tenth time!  The staple event benefitting the American Cancer Society was held again at the Bowlmor Lanes in Times Square New York City!

And boy, did it bring out the stars from the east coast from the missing in action One Life to Live, All My Children, and the beloved Guiding Light and more …  all for a good cause.

Many friends of verDorn’s, cast members past and present, participated in the bowling event and took to the lanes including: OLTL’s  Robert S. Woods, Kelly Missal, Ron Raines, Barbara Garrick, Ryan Cooper, Patrick J. Gibbons, Tom Degnan, Terri Conn and Austin Peck,  Lenny Platt, Ilene Kristen, Gina Tognoni, Thom Christopher, Timothy J. Stickney, Sean Ringgold, Austin Williams and Tonja Walker. Plus,  AMC’s  Daniel Covin,  Guiding Light’s Grant Aleksander, Michael O’Leary, Elvera Roussell, Denice Pence, Robert Newman, Orlagh Cassidy, Michelle Ray Smith, and former GL writer Jill Lorie Hurst.  In addition, former Y&R star David Tom, Tainted Dreams, AMC and former OLTL star, Michael Lowry, and many more showed up to lend their support!  For info on the event and the charity, go to the Stars and Strikes website here!

Now after the jump, check out the photo gallery with our special captions of some of the images featuring many of your favorites at the 10th Annual Stars and Strikes event!  So good to see so many wonderful faces from Llanview and Springfield!  So, who are you missing the most from your television or computer screens after reviewing the pics? Awesome EVENT!!! Anyone in the NYC Metro area who loves OLTL or GL, you really missed out. Been there 3 of the last 4 years. So much fun. Where else can you meet 25+ Soap stars for such a low admission….and going to a great cause. Met Robert S Woods, Tonja Walker and Austin Peck for the first time. I guess the person I miss seeing on a Soap the most I a tie….Gina Tognoni and Terri Conn. They are both so sincere and so cool (in their own ways). Need to send a special thanks as well to Robin… Read more »

It appears that the women of Selling Sunset are back filming their upcoming season which is sure to be filled with plenty of drama, real estate deals that go bust, or go big, and plenty of fashion.

In the photos, Stause was reunited with ‘Sunset’s’ Heather Rae Young, Mary Fitzgerald, Jason and Brett Oppenheim, Maya Vander, Christine Quinn and Amanza Smith kicking off the taping of the series fourth season.

Stause posted on her IG, “Love when doing things I love, with people I love, can be called “work.”

Meanwhile, Maya Vander posted on her IG Story: “Me & my GIRLS, back like we never left 😚💖 It’s been so long since we’ve all been able to be in the office together but we’re back and SO happy to be reunited!!!” she wrote. “I may have missed the colorful memo today 😆 but everyone’s outfits were on point 😍.”

Netflix announced in March that the popular series was renewed for two additional seasons.

All My Children Alum Finn Wittrock To Headline ‘Green Lantern’

From Pine Valley to the DC Universe! Now comes word that former All My Children star, Finn Wittrock (Ex-Damon Miller) will take on the role of Guy Gardner/Green Latern on the upcoming HBO Max series, Green Lantern from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Brothers Television.

According to Deadline who dropped the casting news, Wittrock’s Guy Gardner/Green Lantern is “a hulking mass of masculinity, and, as rendered in the comics, an embodiment of 1980s hyper-patriotism. And yet, Guy is somehow likable.”

In the premise of the series, Green Lantern reinvents the classic DC property through a story spanning decades and galaxies, beginning on Earth in 1941 with the very first Green Lantern, secretly gay FBI agent Alan Scott, and 1984, with cocky alpha male Guy Gardner (Wittrock) and half-alien Bree Jarta. They’ll be joined by a multitude of other Lanterns — from comic book favorites to never-before-seen heroes.”

Previously, Finn received Emmy nominations for his work on American Horror Story: Freak Show and for Versace: American Crime Story.

So what do you think of Finn’s new role? Comment below.
