Here now is the 0fficial statement from Prospect Park:  “We are pleased to confirm that Prospect Park is reviving the beloved soap operas, All My Children and One Life To Live as the anchor programs on The Online Network (TOLN).

Today we are also pleased to confirm that Prospect Park has: 1) signed guild agreements with both SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) and the DGA (Directors Guild of America); 2) entered into a consulting agreement with Agnes Nixon the creator of All My Children and One Life to Live guaranteeing her active involvement; 3) hired Foz McDermott (coordinating producer Heroes) as TOLN’s head of production, Jennifer Pepperman (Director, One Life to Live) as Executive Producer on One Life to Live, and Ginger Smith (Producer, All My Children) as Executive Producer on All My Children; and 4) arranged the necessary financing to begin production in February on both All My Children and One Life To Live.

We thank the loyal audience and new generation of fans of both shows who have demonstrated that passion and exciting story lines are not just reserved for traditional television. Their enduring support encouraged us to move forward each and every day. We look forward to sharing more details including our launch air date and additional specifics in the coming weeks.”

So soapers, what do you think of the official announcement?  Are you now optimistic and excited to see two of the most beloved soaps continue online?  Let us know!

I am so excited! I cannot believe it!! Yeah!!! I have missed my friends..
Almost brought tears to my eyes when reading this!!

I know what you mean Sherri! I did get tears when I read Agnes’ letter to us. 🙂

Sherri, tears came to my eyes too! I wouldn’t let myself read any of the recent news leading up to this, didn’t want to get my hopes up until this announcement today. It is REALLY GONNA HAPPEN. Dreams do come true, everyone!

I’m with you… say what they will… this is emotional stuff…. Tears.

Hallelujah! Tears in the eyes of everyone in my household. We fans kept speaking up and we were heard. I am grateful to all involved!

Thankyou I can’t to see it OMG

Now it is confirmed .. I had no doubts !!
I am excited to be among to the first to see our soap operas being produced and broadcast on the internet!!
Love the pace of the new era of the 21st century media !!!

That’s great! But I hope it will also be available on T.V. ,maybe On Demand, so everyone can see it!

that would be , only people with On Demand! 😉 How about late night on a regular channel – not everyone has deluxe cable package and on demand. you knowsome alphabet channel, instead of sellling another infomercial for 3AM, replay yesterday’s online soaps

I couldn’t be happier!!! Unless they announced that Andrea Evans was returning as well 🙂

Agree! Would LOVE to see Tina. If we can’t see her as Tina…then I’d like to see her on GH working with Tony Geary!

I would love to see Andrea Evans return to OLTL as Tina as well !!

I’ve been saying forever that I would LOVE to see Tina Lord and Luke Spencer together looking for diamonds or jewels! That could be it’s own soap even!

I am so elated. We have fought such hard fight to getour shos bac. I am giddy with anticipation to see who returns and how these shows play out. We are definitely ready for the tie up to who got shot in AMC’s closing scene. Thank you soap fans for fighting along side each other and refusing to give up. I have met many friends through his enduring battle. Our voices were heard, even when we thought we were being ignored. Thank you Michael Fairman for keeping us posted. Thank you Jeff Rodack (editor of Globe)for letting the publc know we still existe and refused to give up. Thank you Agnes Nixon fo your creation of these wonderful shows. Thank you SOAP FAN for not going down without a great fight!!!

and excuse the typos..Some letters seemed to have been removed from prior paragraph

Oh Yeahhhhhhh!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! I am glad to see our actors signing on reviving their part. I wish everyone the best. Hopefully everyone jumps on the soap wagon.

I hope it happens this time.. but, not trying to be neg. … im not holding my breathe. I want to see just what they have come up with …before i give my opinion. Hopefully, it will not change too much.

Oh breathe already… I have, OLTL will be back !

Funny Brian! Yessssssssssss! They will be back.

But sadly, my elderly mother will not. She LOVES OLTL but she does not get online. It makes me sad that so many like her that are long time viewers of the show will not be able to continue on the journey in Llanview.

Ummm. I am breathing… hence the “I’m NOT holding my breath. Means…im not holding my breath…lmao. just funning with ya….;)

yes, lisa, same here, i was just joking. but now the jerry (aka clint) has signed, i think we all are breathing now.

bet we both just can’t wait for the show to start….

all the best

Brian… not Brian Frons, right? bwahahahahaha

Yes, not that Brian. !!! This Brian would have never have canceled OLTL !!

I am so excited I have missed OLTL great acting and storytelling. Now we wait for who is signing up. Miss Bo Nora Rex Gigi. Can’t wait

Will they ever come back on TV? We live in a rural area where u dont have wifi and are not able to watch online,so will we be able to watch on air?

If you can get to this website you should be able to watch online…

Not true. If you only have dial up access, you do not have streaming video capbility.

No it will work on dial up too. You just have to let it load up. Or maybe upgrade your connection…

From what I have read, I know they are working on a deal with a cable channel to air the shows after their original airing. We just got the official announcement, we’ll have to wait a bit for the details.

and maybe if we’re lucky, someone will save them to youtube for us for a day when we have faster internet.

So happy to be getting my other family that I had known for 39 years . Thanks to all the dedicated fans and people that worked for a year to get them back on.

It’s better than nothing for fans of those two shows. I do wish soaps would have remained on television though.

My thoughts on #PP & #WGA.

I think #PP will hire Fi-core writers to write #AMC & #OLTL at first so they can be in production by March as Debbi Morgan says. I also think they will continue the WGA talks & when that is final hire someone within WGA to take over as HW for the soaps.

Its not like this hasnt been done before. Werent Tyler Perry’s TV shows non union for a while & they got union deals later. I know Tyler Perry is not a daily soap, But I believe they will have WGA deal eventually

I am beyond thrilled! I hope that all viewers flock online to ensue both shows continue. Long live OLTL and AMC!

Nothing about hiring writers?Good daytime drama is about- is ALL about – good storytelling.
It’s so unfortunate that this wasn’t achieved a year ago .

Better late than NEVER!!!!! Just be glad they are coming back. The internet is the way of the future. Look forward not back!

Productions starts in FEBRUARY???? WOW!!! They must mean business!!! Excited, elated, thankful!!! I wish them luck and hope the final arrangements come together seamlessly.

That means that we will probably see the first episode in Mid-March 2013!!! Yeow, cannot wait. OLTL, my extended family is coming home.

Iam so happy and I want to thank everyone for not giving up and fighting for what we all wanted. Thank you Michael for everything you have done to keep us posted on all the details about everything. and helping to get our soaps back too, also being a real true friend to the actors and the fans. Have a great day .

Great news!!! Looking forward to receiving additional info about the launch.

Words cannot express how grateful I am. Now I want to know who is coming from OLTL. It would be nothing without Vickie and Clint.

Jerry Van Dorn (Clint) signed a contract already! Haven’t heard anything about Erica Sleazak. Oh Please, let Vicki and Clint and all the Buchanans come back.

I’ll be thrilled to see OLTL back, but not so much AMC, unless Ryan Lavery has departed for parts unknown. 😉 There are other characters on that show worth writing about… in my humble opinion. Like David Hayward! 🙂

Any chance TSJ could be enticed back to OLTL?

Agree…NO Ryan Lavery PLEASE.

Oh thank you, thank you, thank you powers that be and to the Lord for answering our prayers. While I am sure Jesus has better things to do, he still listens to the minor stuff! I can’t wait to see LLanview and Pine Valley again!!!

Great post 🙂

YES! I am finally more than optimistic, I AM excited! I understand there is still I lot I don’t know, but I am happy to wait and see. Having these shows back in any form will be thrilling to see and I believe this is just the beginning. Their success can usher in demand for other shows to be resurrected, well that’s my hope anyway!

THIS IS TOTALLY AWESOME NEWS!!! OH I CAN’T WAIT. IT FEELS LIKE YEARS. I WAS CRUSHED ALONG WITH ALL OTHER FANS AND NOW YOU’RE RETURNING. OVERJOYED!!! WORDS CAN’T EXPRESS THE GREATNESS!!!

I have no doubt that it will happen. The question is will it be financially successful. Do they still plan to do 5 days a week 260 shows a year? Most of the other online soap have much less episodes. Either way I will be there. But people who have limited computer time at the public libraries like I did for 4 years will find it harder to watch. But I think it will happen.

3 episodes a week is what I have read from several different sources.

Hoping they bring back Andrea Evans as Tina Lord Roberts to OLTL !!!

I am so happy, grateful and excited! Never, ever, ever give up! I can’t wait to see my beloved One Life to Live once again.

Congrats to All My Children & One Life To Live!!!

I have heard that #PP are rotating filming not airing of soaps. #AMC will film 5 weeks then #OLTL will film 5 weeks and then repeat until both soaps produce 168 episodes. Those 168 episodes will air M-Thurs for 42 weeks at a 30min length. Every Friday for those 42 weeks PP will air a recap of OLTL & AMC

Im thinking each week the soaps will film 8-10 episodes and at the end of each 5 weeks have 40-50 episodes to air

So filming of OLTL wouldn’t begin until March-April. And that’s why the AMC-ers are being lined up first.

Given that they air on #TOLN first I doubt we will pay. I could see PP say you have 7 days to watch this weeks AMC & OLTL before they move them to HULU PLUS like place where u then have to pay to view them. Then release the next weeks episodes and repeat the process. Then hopefully down road, a cable station airs them

Group Hug….!!!!!

Happy Dance!!!!!

Memories are alive!!!!

Our TV family is employed!!!!

Sorry gang-I’m STILL not convinced. Until they release more details, this is all just talk

very cool. good to hear all these folks can have a job again.
I’ll definitely be watching.
way to go.

Gotta bring back Ilene Kristen. Gotta.

There are no words adequate to convey my emotions if it comes true.

Woo Freakin’ Hoo! WOW!!! just WOW!!!

So excited.!!! I can’t believe it. I had almost given up. When do they air?

Since I watched amc & oltl from the beginning, I am so happy that both soaps are coming back!

I can’t wait. When is it going to air? It is such good news.

If you read the press release, they’re hoping to start productions in February. So probably not until March or forward.

Wow- if they bring in quality scripts and at least half of the original casts- this could be a really successful venture. I hope it works out!

Happy days r here again……The glass is getting filled and filled each day:). Almost to the top. I’m becoming a believer and excited to learn more details each passing day. I do hope it does make to cable/tv as SOD was speculating, the lifetime channel. Hence a ratings roar!

Unless PP makes a deal with some other outlet (cable, syndication, other), this will not work with just internet only.

I think it’ll work. It will be an adjustment like when soaps went from radio to television.

I am very happy with this news and the positive steps moving forward. I hope Prospect Park can lure back many of the original stars of each of the shows, as they are all sorely missed. I am looking forward to seeing both shows again. Much good luck to all involved!!!!!

I am thrilled! I hope that we fans are patient as they learn about this format and are forgiving with any “mistakes” we think they make. This is all new. I also hope we are patient for our “favorites” to sign-on, as many have committments to other projects or aren’t interested in this type of project at all. So happy Ms. Nixon is invovled!!!

This is great. This venture is going to be amazing for AMC Fans. Hopefully everyone can shut up and quit whining about things now!

So happy!! I can’t wait to see OLTL again! I can’t believe how much I’ve missed that show!!

Thrilled beyond belief does not even cover how happy I am! I’m hoping they can get most of the cast back on each show. But anyway I am exstatic!

Does anyone know what we will have to pay in order to watch our wonderful soaps? I just signed up to get info from “The On Line Network” The web page is not constructed yet. I just hope if there is a fee it is reasonable. Very excited!!!!

I am THRILLED!!!

don’t understand how they’re going to pay for production? commercials? paid online content? so you have to pay for hi-speed internet and another charge to watch the show?

Been waiting a year for this! OLTL!

Is this a done deal? Is this definetely going to happen this time? I want OLTL back & AMC . When is a done deal for sure & no doubts about it I will get excited !

This is the best news. I have missed watching both shows. Look forward to hearing additional news.

This week began and as reported with a spotlight article on Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos and how their production entity, Milojo, has been teeing up the All My Children reboot with Lifetime.

The L.A. Times featured the married couple, co-hosts of Live with Kelly and Mark, and former All My Children cast members (where they met and fell in love) about their plans to bring two All My Children movies to Lifetime and how they are working with the Agnes Nixon estate to make it come to fruition,

On Wednesday, it was revealed by Daytime Confidential, that All My Children reboot producer, Andrew Stearn handpicked none other than Ron Carlivati (ex-head writer, One Life to Live, General Hospital and Days of our Lives) and Jamey Giddens (who is the new co-head writer of The Young and the Restless, following his tenures on the writing teams of Beyond the Gates and Days of Our Lives), as the two scribes who will bring the first of two of Kelly and Mark’s All My Children movies to the page.

RON CARLIVATI AND JAMEY GIDDENS CONFIRM THEIR BOARDING THE ALL MY CHILDREN MOVIE PROJECT

The second installment is said to be written by primetime writer Leo Richardson whose credits include: Star, Katy Keene and more recently the Penn Badgley (ex-Phillip Chancellor IV, The Young and the Restless) starring series, You.

Richardson also wrote for three years on the U.K.’s long-running soap, EastEnders. All My Children revival fans will recall Richardson’s name was attached as the writer for the first incarnation of the All My Children movies, entitled, Pine Valley.

Ron Carlivati took to X and confirmed he is indeed boarding the All My Children movie project. Carlivati shared, “So excited to share this news! Thanks to Andrew Stearn, Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, Albert Bianchini and the Agnes Nixon estate for entrusting Jamey Giddens and me with the first of two planned All My Children movies for Lifetime! Stay tuned!”

Jamey Giddens confirmed DC’s announcement by taking to his account on X and expressing, “I’ve been booked and busy in 2026. Thanks to Andrew Stearn, the Agnes Nixon estate, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos for entrusting Ron Carlivati, and me with the first of two planned All My Children movies for Lifetime!”

Some fans seemed to question how Giddens could be writing for the first All My Children movie at Lifetime, when he is the new co-head writer at The Young and the Restless with Dan O’Connor. Jamey answered that head on via X and explained, “We turned in our All My Children script months ago. My sole focus as of this past Monday, is Genoa City, Wisconsin! #YR”

ERICA KANE, MARIA SANTOS AND HAYLEY AND MATEO SANTOS TO APPEAR IN THE ALL MY CHILDREN MOVIE REVIVAL?

In the planned stories, Susan Lucci’s Erica Kane and Eva LaRue’s Maria Santos will be two characters whose lives we will get to see for the first time since the series was canceled by ABC back in 2011 after 41 years on the air. As well, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos confirmed they will make brief appearances on-screen; one could assume as Hayley and Mateo Santos.

“It’d be wonderful to give the fans something that they’ve been yearning for so many years,” shared Mark Consuelos to the LA Times. “All My Children gave me my family. I met my wife there. It gave me my start in the business. It gave us so much. It would be a dream to be able to give back.”

So, what do you think of Ron Carlivati and Jamey Giddens getting nod to write the All My Children movie #1 script and Leo Richardson #2? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

‘All My Children’ Revival Updates: Lifetime EVP Speaks on Why Proposed Movies are Great Fit, Mark Consuelos Wants To ‘Give Back’ to Fans

Published

The All My Children revival via movies at Lifetime is still in the works from former series stars and marrieds, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, through their production company, Milojo.

The co-hosts of Live with Kelly and Mark were featured this week in a Los Angeles Times article which detailed their efforts to bring some of the citizens of Pine Valley back to your screens.

As previously reported, and reaffirmed by the L.A. Times, the All My Children movies will be set in the present day and focus on what beloved characters such as Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) and Maria Santos Gray (Eva LaRue) are doing now. In addition, Kelly Ripa confirmed that she and Mark Consuelos will also appear on screen briefly most likely appearing in their signature soap roles as Hayley and Mateo Santos.

ALL MY CHILDREN MOVIES BRING NOSTALGIA THAT CAN BE MADE TO FEEL NEW AGAIN

Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive vice president and head of programming for A&E, Lifetime, and Lifetime Movie Network said of the All My Children reboot, “Lifetime is always interested in shows that kind of tap into a powerful nostalgia that can be made fresh for today’s audience. There’s a whole generation of women that have missed these stories and these characters.”

As for working with Kelly and Mark on the Lifetime movie versions of the soap, “They’re exactly the kind of partners you want at a brand,” expressed Bryant. “They’re trusted voices because every day they’re talking to their audience, which, a lot of times, is our audience. They bring a real credibility and have an authentic point of view. You meet Kelly and Mark and kind of what you see is what you get, and I think they bring that same authenticity to their development standards.”

Albert Bianchini, executive producer for Milojo, says he knows All My Children is so wildly popular with the fans of daytime. That was punctuated when seeing it in person, and how the energy was off the charts back in January of 2025 when Kelly participated along with Susan Lucci, former head writer, Lorraine Broderick and casting director, Judy Blye Wilson in a conversation with Andy Cohen at the 92nd Street Y in New York City.

“I’ve never seen a crowd like that in my life. People were lined up around the block, recalled the Bianchini.  “Everyone wanted to know, ‘When is (All My Children) coming back? We want more.’  We got to see that in real life and Kelly got to feel it in real life, and it made so much sense. I just know that the minute it gets out in the world, people will want more and more and more. There’s just a love there.”

Kelly Ripa added that they are, “working closely with Bob and Sarah Nixon, who are also serving as producers.” She recalled, “She (Agnes Nixon) was so far ahead of her time. She covered topics that weren’t being covered. It was extraordinary the audiences that the show drew, and she served them real stories that were affecting Americans across the country but weren’t necessarily being represented anywhere.”

“It’d be wonderful to give the fans something that they’ve been yearning for so many years,” shared Mark Consuelos. “All My Children gave me my family. I met my wife there. It gave me my start in the business. It gave us so much. It would be a dream to be able to give back.”

THE CANCELLATION AND STOPS AND STARTS OF ALL MY CHILDREN REBOOTS

All My Children aired on ABC from 1970 to 2011. It got a second chance at life when Prospect Park resurrected the show and brought it to The OnLine Network and Hulu for one season in 2013.

Recently, the series made a return through the estate of Agnes Nixon and is streaming internationally on BEONDTV and through their partnership with PlutoTV Canada with episodes starting in 1995. Fans hope original episodes will some day soon be available in the U.S. as well, but that could prove more difficult since ABC owns the rights to the episodes stateside.

Now 13 years later, while there is no word yet on a definitive production start date to the two movies at Lifetime, all the people involved seemed determined to make it come to life.

So, what do you think of the executive vice-president of Lifetime and LMN being enthusiastic about Kelly and Mark’s All My Children movie revivals? Are you wanting to see this come to fruition? Kelly and Mark seem to have made this a very high priority.  Do you hope that by 2027 we might be able to get this to the finish the line and into production? Weigh-in via the comment section.

Pluto TV picked-up the All My Children Channel that the Nixon family has created in partnership with BEONDTV +. The show which aired for 41 years on ABC and ended on the network in 2011, had so many memorable storylines and characters; the least of which is the enduring run of Erica Kane played by soap icon, Susan Lucci.

As previously reported, starting with episodes from the year 1995, which was the 25th anniversary of the soap. Pluto TV Canada viewers will be able to catch 8 episodes on repeat per day. With the success of the venture, the Nixons are hopeful that they will bring viewers many more years of the show to come.
