Seems right thing to do. Ms. Sofer was wonderful as Quinn but there seems very little for her to do now she and Carter are together. Writers wrote character into a corner after years of some crazy stuff. Her son Wyatt is rarely mentioned. May be time to write out Carter, Paris, Paris’s mother… As core characters age, I suggest an end to the waffling and set couples for the course. Build a younger set of compelling characters with their introduction of a new family. I am honk the Sheila story is beyond silly. Too much. I don’t watch like I used to.
Don’t suppose there’s a snowball’s chance in my back yard that she would consider returning to GH? I think it’s about time Lois Cerullo paid a visit to her daughter and some of her old friends from Bensonhurst. Maybe she can talk some sense into Sonny and help rid him of his current Parasite problem??
Satan…Oh yes, bring her back to GH. Remember her coming out of the cake? I loved her as Lois way better than Quinn, who I did like occasionally. Even as a lawyer on NCIS when it was good. Two things…her daughter really needs her help. And she could stand up to anyone, even Carly.
That parasite must be Nina! Wake me when that nightmare relationship is over!
I wish that too. She is an awesome actress
If any one can rid him of Nina, it would be Lois.
Bah-bye
I have so enjoyed Rena’s time on B&B as Quinn! She was particularly strong in 2016 in the storyline she shared with Scott Clifton’s Liam, and all of her scenes with Darin Brooks as her son Wyatt have been extra special too. I wish her well in whatever she chooses to do in the future! (:
Richard…I agree with you on all counts. She and Li (Finn’s mom) are the only two characters I have time for on B&B. Watch fon Li and Diamond Bill pairing up.
rose
I just love Bill and Li together too. I just hope TPTB can see that too.
It’s a big loss to bold she’s absolutely amazing and always made you root for Quinn best of luck Rena you’ll be missed
I can’t believe Rena is leaving I love her playing Quinn I am so upset she was one of my favorite character it’s not going to be the same without her she will be missed ❤️❤️ Well I wish her the best she is a great actress and do great wherever she goes but she will be missed on B&B
Is there gonna be a replacement Quinn or are they killing her off? Hope she dont get eaten by a friggin bear…such stupid s***.
Ok.Now bring Lois back to GH.
She was getting ready to go to the back burner and decided she did not want to do that! Brad is incapable of writing more then one or two stories she is lucky she is getting a send off most of the time you just disappear never to be discussed again.
I haven’t enough words for how I feel about Quinn.Everyone knows the abominable things she’s done and like her anyway. I for one will not miss her.Good riddance.
A visit of ANY duration to Port Charles would be a dream come true! Several opportunities fitting for Lois to become a part of the story; people she could reconnect with onscreen. Just watching how Rena would take her iconic 80s Lois into this stage of life and keep her quirkiness would be something to see! I always loved Lois ❤
Wonderful actress that will be missed. Thanks for 9 years! Quinn cannot be replaced so it may be time to move her to another company/city. What about Wyatt now? Agree that B&B needs to add a new family to rival the Forrester’s business. The same triangles are getting old.
Besides the GH possibilities, I would love for her to bring Mark Harmon back to NCIS. Even though she’s not a red-head, she had great chemistry with Gibbs.
Susan
I watched NCIS every week, and I can say I’ve never seen Rena Sofer on that show.
Violet…Rena played a strong lawyer for a bad guy Gibbs was after. She stood up to Gibbs. In fact there was a little “give-and-take” going on between them at times.
Susan…I used to watch NCIS. Liked arena when she played a lawyer on the show. But after Mark and Ziva let it hasn’t been the same. So I don’t watch anymore.
Correction…liked Rena, not arena.

Mark Rydell, one of the most highly-lauded motion picture directors in Hollywood, and who got his start acting on the soaps, has died. He was 97.
The news of his passing came from Bette Midler, who starred in The Rose, which Rydell also directed. Midler took to her Instagram on Friday, August 14 and shared the news.
Bette expressed, “Mark Rydell, the director or my first film, The Rose, died this morning. He was an actor of note before he became a director, and I was so lucky to have met him when I did; he taught me so much on The Rose and later on For The Boys. Two Oscars nominations both because of him. He was the actor’s whisperer; just a few words was all it took to understand what was needed.”

Rosie O’Donnell Says She Will Return to ‘The View’ During its Season 30

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.
The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.
The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

Photo: ABC
ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW
As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.
O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”
Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”
You can check out the clip with Rosie and Kyle Ridley discussing her return to The View in some form for its upcoming 30th season below.
Then weigh-in: Would you be excited to see Rosie, even for a one-day or a week guest stint on the upcoming celebratory season of The View, or not so much? Let us know via the comment section.
