THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Nick Has Been Masquerading As J.T. And Blindsides Victor
On Monday’s episode of The Young and the Restless, as Victor (Eric Braeden) comes face to face with J.T. he tells him that he’s a coward hiding in the shadows, who goes after the defenseless, but now the tables are turned. Oh, have they Victor? Might want to think again!
Victor reaches into his pocket making it look like he might pull out a gun, and all of a sudden the voice emanating out of J.T. is a very familiar one! It’s Nick’s voice who says, “What? You’re going to shoot your own son now?” And with that, Nick (Joshua Morrow) pulls off his prosthetic mask of J.T. revealing himself with a typical ‘Nick-ism’, “Sup Dad?”
Nick then lets loose and tells Victor that he has been behind everything that has happened surrounding “J.T’s re-emergence” including the leaked documents. Standing his ground, Nick tells his father how he has been watching how Victor operates his whole life, and how he has always been perceived Nick as weak. Then, Nick launches into how Victor was proud of Adam who was more in his image, by the despicable things he would do in business, and in his life. Nick says he could deal with Victor making a mockery out of Nick’s business career, but not taking his son, Christian.
Victor is not impressed, and somewhat amused by his son standing up to him. However, Nick has warning for him, stating: “Things are in motion that can’t be stopped!” Nick doubts that Victor will mention any of this publicly, because that would mean he was taken down by his “underachieving son.”
Later, Nick returns home to Sharon with flowers in tow Then, Victor shows up. Sharon asks Victor the latest in finding J.T. Victor guesses Nick hasn’t filled her in on the latest developments and exits. Sharon asks Nick, “What have you done?” Nick reveals he has been masquerading as J.T. You can see just how Sharon is somewhat freaked out, because she is covering up J.T.’s “murder!” Nick goes on to admit he leaked the documents, too. Sharon is shocked, and said she saw J.T, out the window. He apologizes for scaring her, but he needed to carry out his plan. Nick says once Victor got custody of Christian by attacking Sharon’s mental state in the arbitration, he was going to make him pay. Sharon asks if Nick even thought what pretending to be J.T has done to his sister, Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Nick will not apologize for what he has done intimating there is more ahead, and leaving Sharon to question his behavior stating, she doesn’t know who he is anymore!
What did you think about Nick wearing a J.T. mask and shocking Victor? What did you think of the performance of Joshua Morrow in the scene where he lays the smackdown on Victor? What do you think will happen next? Has Nick turned heel? Comment below.
I was very disappointed in the whole so called reveal/showdown between Nick and Victor. I knew this was going to happen and couldn’t wait for the fireworks. There was hardly any emotions, and they acted like they were just reading their scripts to each other. Also the women ganging up on Nick, after all the crap Victor pulled, was very unrealistic to me.No use saying any more. Everyone will have their own opinions about this, but Nick being a favorite of mine, has my suppirt, and wish he’d done more to the old S.O.B.
I agree favorite actor off screen nice guy but man he has for years played the mad frat boy or the horney frat boy! The best storyline he has ever done was Cassie’s death. I do find it silly that everything Victor has done to Sharon she has any concern for Victor just tell Nick the truth and bury this storyline along with JT
Victor hardly shows emotion anytime. He acts as deceitful and crooked as always except when he was acting sick then he showed emotion but it was for himself.
Ron Carlivati called and asked for his storyline back. He has a copyright on prosthetic masks in daytime television.
HA! Good one!!
Typical General Hospital storyline, Cesar Faison (5’4”) masquerading as Luke Spencer (6’2”) wearing a mask. Dumb!!!
HaHa, Joe. Too funny.
The whole Mission Impossible mask bit is soooooooo not Y&R’s style and Nick doing this is completely out of character as he would never do anything to cause beloved big sis Victoria anxiety over the possible return of her abusive ex.
Tell me about it, Alan…..as I said on the other thread, I expected Faison to turn the corner.
Also, I don’ t know how much more of Nikki’s living-on-another-planet-behavior I can take.
Here is a mother who is so incensed over what her son did ( Gee, like father like son much?), yet is deaf and dumb when it comes to Victor.
I don’t know….perhaps, it is just I? I doubt it…..to a mother, her kids come first….before all others, includingn her spouse…..except for Nikki. Ha! Pathetic mothering….always was, always will be. For a NY minute, when she clocked JT to protect Victoria, I thought; ‘yeah, good for you, Nikki’, but, NAH, she is beyond pathetic.
On another note…I take it the baby Hilary is carrying is not Devon’s? Why the subterfuge with the sexy “guest” then?
Hmmmm, sperm donor, mayhap??
Also, I have said this a few times that Mishael must be pregnant in real life, at least a couple of months ago….or trying….finally, the little bump reared its adorable head.
Why else would TPTB be trying so hard —making a big deal, rather, in getting her pregnant on the show?
I heard it through the grapevine that Mishael is, indeed, expecting her second child?
I don’t like the way ‘they’ are ‘making’ her leave—-if true. We shall see.
It’s kinda crazy. Where did Nick get that JT mask? How did he become so computer savvy?
Ron Carlavati loaned it to him.
I kinda thought this part of the story was lame.
I was never a fan when General Hospital concocted these stupid masquerading storylines with masks, and I am still not a fan. SO. STUPID. NO. THANKS. Also, the “love” scene between Ashley and Neil was so awkward and forced-embarrassing to watch.
the only people blindsided were the viewers who actually thought this storyline would go somewhere!
..totally lame. what a waste of time.Victor vs his son 3.0, Along with Billys gambling 3.0, Hilary and devon 3.0 , mariah and tessa 3.0, Paternity undoing of a legacy character 3.0….
damn. ANYTHING EXCITING OR WORTH WATCHING ON THIS SHOW ANYMORE? this show revolves around 4 boring dragged on storys with the same 8 characters like c’mon!.. we need Jill back, Lauren, Michael, Paul,Christine more Kyle, Mariah, nuNate and younger characters for the summer.
End the J.T murder mystery and the current regimes murdering of this iconic soap.
You are SO right, Damien! I think I fast-forwarded thru most of yesterday’s show. Billy’s storyline is atrocious. Kyle setting-up Mariah and Tessa is not a storyline that I am interested in seeing (and watching Devon pretending to act and set them up was cringe-worthy. He can’t act period). Lily acting as though her children have a bigger stake in Devon’s company, than his own offspring, is so funny. I think she is one of the dumbest characters EVER to appear on daytime television.
Yeah, damien. …said the same thing. The repetition turns the viscera. But, I was surprised!! I actually thought it was really JT….I wished it, so that I didn’t have to deal or listen to those four hens clucking and squawking every single day!!!! Wide-eyed with oh-my-we-are-doomed…
Apologize to everybody who guessed this I thought Y& R would never stoop to such nonsense. A friend told me that got a Sony question in the mail about food or talk shows ! I have no idea but I think they might be on thin ice. They have froze salaries that’s why they lost Ed& Mm. Crazy
It’s disappointing. I really hate that Nikki accidentally killed JT and then those four idiots decided to cover it up and bury his body rather than do the right and rational thing–call the damn police.
I hate that JT is dead and died as a one dimensional villain. JT was a complex guy and I would have liked him to undergo therapy to figure out why a once heroic man, turned into an abuser of women. And no, not to EXCUSE his behavior, but to EXPLAIN it.
I still hold out hope that JT is alive. He had a heart condition which could be used to explain why those four idiots found no pulse.
I loved it,but I really hate to see Father and Son fighting against each other! I was really hoping it was JT coming back, because I don’t think he’s really dead!Father and Son fighting takes the fun out of it!
This would have been more compelling if Victor had shown any reaction at all. I didn’t see a “shocked” Victor. Maybe Eric Braeden thought it was a travesty and threw away his performance in protest? Not even so much as a “well I’ll be damned”. I hoped that he would end the scene by shouting. “Now get out of my alley! You got that?”
Whoa, Mister Media!!! You’ve got Victor down pat. I love it!!
I don’t remember a time when these two weren’t at each others’ throats…..part of the ‘decor’, right?!
Silly story, it should have really triggered victor. I’m all for Victor being taken down!
But man Joshua looks hot as hell like that!!!!
Well, Nick did have to grow a set BUT to me its a way to TRY and fill a void missing on the show, ADAM! I dont buy this at all!
My comment was deleted after the website had issues today, so I am resubmitting it
In another writer’s hands this might have worked– the “good” son pushed beyond his limits to seek revenge on his father then slowly descends down the same path that will eventually turn him into the very thing he hated — his father– very Shakespearean— but with Mal’s style of writing, it will be a tragedy but not in the good sense of the word. I wish it was Adam under that JT mask- because frankly the show has never been same without him. JH was good but there has to other talented actors out there who could take over the role, if MM is forever to be banished–yet with Mal writing style, if Adam was on the show, he would just destroy that character like he has been slowly butchering all the characters since he took over as head writer.
It wasn’t deleted, Mary….it was crossed….you can find it on one of the GH threads. I forgot which….
I actually commented on the mix-up. Some of our other comments appear there , as well. I thought it was only happening to me.
It’s time the Nick character to fight back to victor as he has gotten away with too much. In real life one would never get away with all the dirt and mean things this Victor character had gotten away with. Want to see Nick and Sharon stay together and not let the over dramatizing Phyllis get her claws on him. Some of it these days are so boring wish things could happen to make it exciting Sooner. Let’s see what happens in the near future
I am sorry, but it was sooooo ridiculous. C’mon Mal Young, Y&R fans deserve better than this. Y&R is not GH or DOOL the Jim Reilly years. It just didn’t work. On another note, when will Billy stop being the town screw up? You know he will put Jabot in jeopardy and Jack will swoop in and save the company, which will bring about the departure of Eileen Davidson/Ashley in September. This was once my must watch show, but I can”t say that anymore.
I am glad Nick got to Victor
Me too Blanche, and am hoping a spoiler I came across will prove true. Nick will “reign” all over the mustache, with help from an old friend.
It’s About Time Love What Nick Did I Am All For Nick He Is Tired Of Being Pushed Around By His Father
I’m a little shocked I been watching the show and I’m shocked I was like what it was nick all this time
ahaa!
My man Victor will Destroy Nick..
Victor now can have Christen taken from Nick if he wants to.
And, when Sharon is known to have taken part of covering up a murder, well Christian is sure to have another home.
Nick is no Adam.
Nick did a cyber crime, it was nothing much to get files and release them and there is not much game to that.
Adam was a challenge for Victor but not Nick, Victor will destroy him, wait for it.
But why, SuzieQ? Victor is propelled in doing what he does by selfish ego. Not love. Does he not realize it’s wrong??…Nick loves Christian as a parent should, regardless of his DNA.
Victor is obsessed and possessed. He treats his family members as puppets and possessions. There comes a time when children do rebel…..
Look at Victoria and Nick. Victoria is all in for the money…..that was the first thing she asked her father—-commanded, rather….very disappointed in her. Always liked her….hmmmm….
By the same token, Nick and Abby are not driven by money but for the greater good.
And Nikki? She should get on her knees and beg God for forgiveness, turning her back on her son. In my book, that’s sacrilegious.
I can’t see how anyone can derive such satisfaction by hoping for a father to quash his child’s endevors, dreams….whatever, su. That’s love? Are you a mother? LOL.
Victor has one foot in the grave. He should find some Rosary beads and start praying, snake that he is.
But, hey, I do love Eric—he’s an excellent family man, loving husband, father, and grandfather.
I, especially, love that little thing he does by raising his brow during the show’s intro. Very endearing to me.
OK…you know what: Nick ‘masquerading’ as J.T. is further proof that Nick is nothing but a clueless and drooling IDIOT!!!!! I am now starting to root for Victor…which truly SICKENS ME…lol. BEYOND YUCK!!!!!
Later.
Days Of Our Lives
DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Marlena Looks Back at 50 Years in Salem

The June 22 episode of Days of Our Lives reminded us all of why Deidre Hall is iconic in the role of Dr. Marlena Evans. Here we are 50 years later, and Marlena is still the heroine of the long-running soap opera, and Deidre remains one of the most most recognizable names in the history of soaps.
To pay tribute, and to look back at the life and times of Marlena, the story starts with Marlena flipping through a photo album of her with John (the late Drake Hogestyn) over the years. As she misses him dearly, she gets a knock on the door and its none other than John’s son, Paul Narita (Christopher Sean).
With Andrew (Colton Little) in Salem working on a case, he sits down with Marlena, who says she can’t believe its been fifty years since she first arrived in Salem! Cue: Deidre’s first scenes on DAYS when she finds Mickey Horton (the late John Clarke) playing chess against himself inside the mental institution she worked.

THE FLASHBACKS OF MARLENA’S LIFE
From there, viewers definitely got the cliff notes version of the history of Marlena and entrenched within them, some of the biggest moments in Deidre’s enduring run.
Paul thinks he is looking at 70s, and early 80s Marlena while going through her scrapbook, but he is actually looking at her twin, Samantha (Andrea Hall). Cue: when Marlena confronted Samantha about impersonating her, and then later getting a call on her radio show from the Salem Strangler (Jack Coleman as Jake Kostichek) who killed Samantha thinking it was Marlena.
In the present, Belle (Martha Madison) has arrived at this time to meet up with Paul, unaware of this trip down memory lane. She wants to go over the findings in the chess board mystery Stefano willed to Marlena and John, in private with him, since Marlena previously said she wanted nothing to do with it.
Back to the history lesson, Marlena speaks highly of Don Craig and even though their marriage didn’t work out, she could find a path forward with the new love her life, Roman Brady. (Wayne Northrop however is never shown, possibly to keep the story focused on John as Roman for confusion sakes?)
Paul sees a photo of a young Carrie (Christie Clark) in the album and Marlena says she was such a godsend after losing her baby. In fact, Marlena says caring for Carrie prepared her for her having and raising her own twins, Eric and Sami. Cue: The twin visiting Marlena in the hospital.
JOHN AND MARLENA’S LOVE CONQUERED ALL
Then, in a way to get through and incorporate the wild storylines only Marlena could have been in, she tells Belle and Paul, she has been through so much in her life, how lucky she was to find John, and some of the most unbelievable experiences no one could imagine. Cue: Marlena possessed by the devil and levitating from the bed. Next, John confronting Marlena being the Salem Stalker, where she admits she killed Alice Horton, pretends she needs help, then pulls a gun on her beloved John!
The comment is made by Paul and Marlena, that she literally has been to hell and back and she could not have survived were it not for her beloved John. Cue the big emotional highpoint clips; The Pier Scene! Marlena steps out of the fog when John sees her from a distance. After believing she was dead for four years, here she was before him in one of the greatest reunions in a soap opera love story in history. What followed were other times of the life of times of Jarlena.

MARLENA’S ‘GIFT’ FROM STEFANO HAS A NEW CLUE
When Marlena makes a brief exit to the other room, Belle fills in Paul on the chess set Stefano left her mother and the photo of the Lire. Paul said he will investigate. Marlena comes back into the room and overhears, and says to promise her if things get dangerous he will back off, she does not want anyone hurt by Stefano’s games.
As the episode comes to a conclusion, it’s just Belle and Marlena going through the photo album giggling about 70s hairstyles and all the memories. Belle speaks on the impact Marlena has had in everyone’s lives, and that she is both the heart of their family and the heart of Salem.
An end card comes up acknowledging Deidre Hall’s 50th anniversary as Marlena, and we fade to black.
So, what did you think of Marlena’s walk down memory lane? Were you happy to see the flashback clips utilized throughout? Were you touched by the scenes and the performance of Deidre Hall? Let us know what you thought of Deidre’s 50th anniversary episode via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sidwell Surfaces; A Twist in Britt’s Condition

On the Thursday, June 18 episode of General Hospital, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) makes his shocking return right in Port Charles, after fleeing (thanks to Cassius) to supposedly parts unknown to escape capture for trying to kill Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).
How does he show up in town? First, Ezra (Daniel Cosgrove) gets a text from Jacinda (Paige Herschell) to meet in his hotel room. Ezra thinks the two are going to have a sexcapade so he puts champagne on ice for his favorite escort.
Suddenly, there is a knock at the door. Ezra’s excitement turns towards fear as instead of Jacinda, Sidwell is standing in front of him. Next, Sidwell blackmails Boyle telling him he has plenty of leverage he can use against him. Sidwell wants to use Ezra to help him takedown, Sonny (Maurice Benard), Lucas, Laura (Genie Francis) and Cullum.

ARE SIDWELL’S DAYS NUMBERED?
Meanwhile, Sonny confides in his brother, Ric (Rick Hearst). He says he knows who killed Marco an he is going to use that intel to lure Sidwell out of hiding. Sonny also shares he is going to kill Sidwell, and handle this by himself. He gave the PCPD a chance, but they failed to nab Sidwell for good and lock him up.
Sonny also has been tracking the whereabouts of Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Rocco (Finn Carr) through Brick, and learned they took a flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and then boarded a fairy to take them somewhere off the island.

Courtesy/ABC
BRITT’S ‘SYMPTOMS’ RETURN
Turns out, Britt and Rocco are hiding out in the British Virgin Islands. Britt set up Rocco with a burner phone and a VPN on her tablet, that is not traceable. Rocco reads on the tablet about Lucas’ shooting. Britt starts to have the shakes and passes out. When she comes to, Britt won’t let Rocco call a doctor, but he uses his phone to step on the balcony and call Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and ask for help. Charlotte looks shocked to hear from her brother as Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) looks on!

Courtesy/ABC
However, Joe (Jonathan Bennett) could be the one to put two and two together! While at General Hospital and after questioning Lucas about a syringe he found that was in someone’s possession. the toxicology report showed traces of saline solution, not actual medication. He asks Dr. Jones, why someone would inject themselves with saline? Lucas responds saline is harmless and would have no effect on someone.
So, does this mean that this entire time, Britt has been led to believe that the medication she was taking to treat her Huntington’s disease was placebo? Has Britt been lied to into believing she is dying? Is something else wrong with her instead?
Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below, and if you are ready for Sidwell to finally get his comeuppance from Sonny! But first, watch the scenes where Sidwell comes out of hiding and blackmails Ezra Boyle.
General Hospital
GENERAL HOSPITAL: Dante and ‘Nathan’ Have It Out, Valentin and Carly Share Passionate Moments Which May Be Their Last
On the June 16 episode of General Hospital, the PCPD under acting police commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is in a bit of mess and does not go unnoticed by ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor).
First, there is the whole Chase (Josh Swickard) defending Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) over Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who he arrested for allegedly tossing Willow in the waters next to the Quartermaine boathouse. Turner has had it with Chase’s good guy act and how he tampered with evidence in her case against Willow for shooting Drew.
Later, Dante and Justine question “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) about Sidwell’s escape while in his custody. Turner is not buying his cover story that he was ambushed by Sidwell and his men. Once “Nathan” left the interrogation room, Turner went in on Dante about having “Nathan” on the force after seven years away, and Chase she views as a “dirty cop.”
However, Dante defends both of his officers, but Justine warned that “Nathan” and Chase’s behavior would reflect poorly on Dante as commissioner and she should really think about that. Later, Dante has a terse confrontation with “Nathan” on how he botched a prison transport and that he better watch his back as Justine is one step away from turning this over to Internal Affairs.
COP MADNESS
Next, “Nathan” apologizes for the way he handled the situation with Rocco and says he feels badly. But then in the twist, Dante said that he was grateful that “Nathan” had been there for his son in his time of need (referencing after Rocco shot Cullum and covered it up).
Then, there’s the newest police officer in the precinct, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett). He may actually be on to “Nathan’s” double life when he questions him about a syringe found in Britt’s room at Bobbie’s. “Nathan” made up a story to counter Joe’s, that he was not aware that his sister was taking anything for her Huntington’s disease diagnosis. Joe called the forensic department lab wanting to know what drug was exactly in the syringe.

BEFORE YOU GO
At Carly’s (Laura Wright), Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) tells her that he must travel to Geneva to speak to the head of the WSB, named Z. Valentin feels it’s the only way to save Josslyn if he informs Z about Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) being a double agent. Valentin shares with Carly that he has to stop Cullum from bringing his dangerous cold fusion device online. Carly is beside herself. She doesn’t want Valentin to sacrifice himself by turning himself into the organization who has made him a fugitive in the first place. Valentin stands firm that he must meet Z in person.
Knowing that revealing himself to the WSB meant he was likely going back to prison, Valentin asked Carly if she’d get in touch with his daughter, Charlotte so he could say good-bye to her. Next, Carly and Valentin make their way to the bedroom to make love, which may be for the very last time, if Valentin is caught and put back in Steinmauer Maximum Security Prison.

Courtesy/ABC
CAUGHT BY CULLUM
At the same time while at Wydemere, Cullum is talking with one of his WSB operatives. Now, he is pondering if Valentin and Sidwell were working together all along. Next, Cullum entertains the idea of involving the FBI to locate Britt and Rocco. He says he plans to kill them both once he knows of their whereabouts. Cullum sees the only other threat to the completion of the cold fusion project to be Anna Devane.
Cullum wants to track the location of the unidentified person who called the private clinic in France trying to get in touch with Anna, while pretending to be Kevin Collins. When the agent came back with a report, he says it emanated from a cell tower near Shoreline Road. It’s in the that moment that a light bulb goes on for Cullum! Valentin is in Port Charles and hiding at Carly’s!
So, what do you think of the PCPD cops, Chase, Joe and “Nathan?” Who should Dante fire? Do you think Valentin will go the run?Are you digging Carly and Valentin’s relationship and want it to continue, especially with Finola Hughes on her way back as Anna next month on-screen? Weigh-in via the comment section, and in case you missed it, you can check out our latest interview with Dominic Zamprogna below from his appearance on the Michael Fairman Channel, where he talks the PCPD cops, Rocco on the run, and more.
