If you have not watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless, don’t read any further.  SPOILER ALERT!

Now, if you have checked out the action on the CBS soap you know that Nick (Joshua Morrow) has been on hot on the trail of getting answers and discovering just who Mariah (Camryn Grimes) truly is!  And on today’s episode, after confronting the doctor who delivered Cassie, Nick finally has the information that makes all the pieces of the puzzle fit.

Nick gets confirmation that the doctors delivery nurse was indeed Helen Copeland, the woman connected to Ian Ward (Ray Wise) who claimed to be Mariah’s mother, although she clearly wanted nothing to do with her.  Nick gets the former  physician, who quit his practice to become a teacher/professor so he could distance himself from his wrongdoing, to admit what happened many years ago when a 16-year-old down-on-her-luck Sharon Collins was under his care.  Sharon found herself pregnant and had no financial means to raise her baby, so she gave it up for adoption, but what Sharon didn’t know was there was a “miracle”.  She gave birth to twins!

Apparently, the doctor kept this little nugget a secret all these years, because back then he was in serious trouble from a huge gambling debt that he divulged to Helen.  And it seems Helen (and Ian Ward who was pulling all the strings?) paid the doctor handsomely and took the second baby which was Mariah!  Nick realizes Sharon never had an ultrasound, so she never knew she was carrying twins!

After getting the full admission from the doctor, Nick opens the office door and an FBI agent is there who recorded the whole thing.  They nailed the guy!  And now it was Nick who had to race back to Genoa City to tell Sharon the truth!  Only when Nick returned to Genoa City, Sharon was livid.  She told Nick she threw Mariah out, and that she never wants to see her again!

Now below, take a look at next week’s promo from CBS Daytime that has Mariah kidnapped by Ian Ward! And Sharon and Nick doing all they can to get her back!

So, did you think all along that Sharon had given birth to twins, and one was given away that she never knew existed?  Did you ever doubt that wasn’t the case?  What do you think of the storyline, and how the writers tied it together to make it plausible to continue to keep Camryn Grimes on the canvas as a key part of the series?  Weigh-in!

I guess the writers at Y&R are now recycling stories from OLTL, ala Viki with Jessica & Natalie….sigh.

Yeah, Chaz…double sigh.

LOL.

I thought the same thing. Maybe Sharon will have alternate personalities now? We saw this coming, of course. I just wish writers could move on and make lemonade from the decisions of others. This to me is sour. Lame mystery. Lazy way of bringing back the Nick-Sharon family. Would rather see more creative plots and less reliance on the soap tropes.

Mining in her own backyard….

Really the Spoiler Alert wasn’t necessary I think everyone who watches knew Mariah would be Cassie’s twin months ago– the only mystery was what lame revision of history they would come up with to explain why Sharon wouldn’t know she had two babies.

Mary…honey…you are so RIGHT ON!!!!! Me (and a few of my fellow neighbors in our apartment building) had that so-called Spoiler Alert about Sharon/Cassie/Mariah figured out SEVERAL WEEKS AGO!!!!! IMO…WORST SPOILER ALERT EVER!!!!!!

Take care, Mary. XOXOXOXOXO

Sad, isn’t it..
The writers suck so terribly bad that they can’t give out a surprise, sigh

((everyone including the dead knew it was twins..

As bad as the Y&R writers are they are F Scott Fitzgerald compared to the writers from GH.
For the record, predictability doesn’t always negate the quality of the story. Making Mariah Cassie’s twin was the only feasible route to take. How it all unfolds, whether it will deliver character driven storylines or not, is the true determining factor of a good quality story.

Anticlimactic but Josh Morrow knows how to make a trite scene work just because he’s in it. Too bad we had to sit through Austin complaining about his crappy life to a comatose woman all the while still looking psychotic…and Nu Billy joshing around with Chelsea’s kid who was just as less than impressed as we are with his dead wood portrayal…standing up there looking like Jeffrey went into a time machine to please Gloria..got stuck halfway through…and assumed Billy’s identity…I AM SOOOO OVER BURGESS JENKINS…YAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Sorry keyboard…

Ha, yeah the guy who plays Austin seems cute enough but I’m just not getting in to his character or performance. I don’t know, maybe it’s the timing of his character or the writing of it. I think Burgess’s physicality in the role is more believable than the adult version played by DT, but I agree. So over it. Especially when you’ve got guys like Brandon Barash, Josh Kelly, & a long list of others with soap fans and no soap gig.

Ha ha! Dave, it’s true. Phyllis is going to wake up just to tell Austin to STFU.

Dave…HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! GOOD ONE…and so true!!!!! Yeah, man…that Austin dude talking to Comatose Phyllis…No Thank You. To me, that recent Y&R scene was BEYOD STUPID!!!!! BTW…dude, the last two words of your posting (Sorry keyboard) made me LMAO…LOL!!!!! ANOTHER GOOD ONE!!!!! Thanks.

Take care, Dave. Peace.

I like that..dead wood ..haha. Saaawdust; dead wooood…His skin is the color of his hair, isn’t it…it all blends in. I am being mean and childish, but man, oh man…I can’t watch when he comes on.

Love it!

There’s more to the story. Sharon gave birth to 8 babies!

Correction: Not 8 babies…Sharon ends up with 8 personalities! Sorry for the mix-up.

Hahahahaha !!!!, 4ever.

Someone here called this a ‘lame’ rewrite of Y&R history. Not with this particular story. Sharon didn’t know Nick, or any of the Newman family when she had given birth to Cassie, and now of course, Mariah. That was part of her back story before she ever arrived in Genoa City. The question to be asked here: “Why would Ian Ward have had an interest in Sharon’s baby?” There’s still a lot of fuel to this story. We’ve never met Sharon’s dad, and Sharon’s mother has never had much to say about him. Perhaps, he wanted his granddaughter to raise for his own twisted reasons. Of course, it’s just very convenient that all these years later Mariah links him to his ties with Nikki and the Newmans. And being the sociopath that he is, Ian is bound to use Mariah’s blood ties to Sharon to stick it to the Newman’s and their wallets! ( Now as for the Sharon not knowing she had a twin…well that story seems to be borrowed from the time on GL that Alex found out about Nick after his twin, LuJack had died.)

The thing is, Ian is sterile so I don’t think he’s Sharon’s father.

We know that he became sterile after an accident as a teen. We don’t know how old of a teen he was at the time of the accident. He and Doris could have been involved.

Perhaps lame wasn’t the right word, what I meant whatever back story they would need to invent to connect this present story to the story already told was going to be weak, for example Nick saying Sharon was poor and didn’t have a ultrasound as way to explain why she wouldn’t know she was carrying twins. Even without an ultrasound, she had some kind prenatal care, I am sure who ever was running the adoption of Cassie had her check out, so a doctor with stethoscope could hear two heat beats– that is what I meant— the back story to explain her not knowing would be lame.

For me a better back story would have been, Ian Ward was Doris, Sharon’s mother, brother. When Sharon got pregnant, Doris turned to Ian to help her arrange the adoption of the baby. The doctor taking care of Sharon, found out she was carrying twins, but Ian, told the doctor not to tell Sharon or Doris and agree to pay off his gambling debts to keep it a secret.

Then Ian had the doctor hire one of his followers to be his nurse, so when it came time for Sharon to give birth, the only the two of them would be in room, to know Sharon had twins. Ian wanted to keep one of the babies to give to his wife since he couldn’t give her a child, but she didn’t want the child, so Ian gave the child to the Helen, but he raise her like he was her father, since he was the child’s mother’s uncle. See that would have tied the history will present day — one can only hope something like that will still come out, because right now the back story that given thus far is rather flimsy.

Mary, I think that would be a brilliant explanation -that Ian is Doris’ brother! Whether the twins storyline is too predictable, who cares? What was cool, and not predictable was that Nick figured it out before Ian could use it as blackmail! And some of the tactics Nick used were very edgy-for him. Not as dark and underhanded as Victor, but still smart and sharp! I was impressed!

Yeah I’ve had trouble with why he wanted Sharon’s kid when she did not know the Newman’s back then.

Wow, dansky….great reasoning…makes perfect sense to me. Ian Ward as Mariah’s grandfather and Sharon’s father would really ruffle some feathers in Genoa City. GOOD DEDUCTION.

TIIC must think the fans are stupid and will buy any crap they try to sell…Anyone that has watched the show for a week could have seen this coming from far far way.

I for one, quit watching this show over a month ago. I grew more than a little fed up with the stupid storylines. I don’t suffer fools easily and have better things to do with my time.

Love Y&R it’s no wonder why it’s #1 and always will be!

Ohhh Nooooo!!

WOW!

Did any even suspect that Sharon gave birth to twins, anyone??

Nawww who saw that coming a mile away, anyone?

SHOCK SHOCK SHOCK !! I’m breathless such a surprise !

Exactly, Su0000. Someone said it was anticlimactic. I say, no way. There can’t be an anti anything….not when the climax was squashed from the get go. My 5-year old could have guessed Mariah was borne from Sharon.

The only other explanation that would have made a modicum of sense, would have been if Victor had subjected Mariah to plastic surgery to look like Cassie. (But we knew that was not the case) . Afterall, his scope was to taunt Sharon and drive her nuts…not that she would have needed any nudging. Why did it take so long, I ask? There was no mystery, there was no suspense. We were all aware of the end result. That’s when the boredom took front and center position on my couch while I joined my son watching Spongebob.

Is it me, or didn’t TIIC AND the actress say Mariah was NOT going to be a twin?! Good grief!

They should have never killed Cassie… But Noah is still walking around? Boo to that!

I kinda figured she was Cassie’s twin. Glad it’s been finally resolved.

I am happy to have Camryn Grimes back on Y&R. She brings good things to the show and to Shick’s family. I don’t see this plot move as “recycled”…it’s a soap after all. It’s good, standard, fun soapy goodness 🙂

I like Mariah with Kevin, too. It’s a good match and they could be a lot of fun and trouble together.

agreed– I don’t buy her with Tyler. They would be a good fit for each other.

well, they explained that really plausibly. makes perfect sense

Well, I like the storyline and think it is the only plausible explanation for why Cassie has an exact double running around.
But, UG! Why did they have to make Mariah make sexual advances toward Nick? Did they really have to go there?
Yes, I know, I know…it’s a soap damn it.

Thats my only problem with this direction. I guess Sharon really needed a reason to throw Mariah out but why couldnt she be just stealing off her. That would have been so much better than trying to seduce Nick!

We could all probably make a list of the most reused story lines…no ones ever really dead, “I promise I’ll never lie to you again,” long lost relatives, twins, long-standing family, etc. Guess when soaps have been going on for so long, from radio to tv, even great writers have trouble inventing new ways to make “drama.” They aren’t Shakespeare who seemed to have started many of soap themes without a hospital as a major prop.

They really don’t have to invent anything. All they need to do is look at real life and see what happens out there. Just embellish it and put a frame around it. But, as most soaps, they (writers) have the need to derail, to make a story fantastical and far-fetched. Our intelligence may be bruised somewhat by regaling us with stupidity….but, hey…they are soaps, afterall. I’ll continue watching Y&R in small doses.
I doubt the writers of soaps, collectively, will ever be en par with Old Will. But, there’s a thought…..Perhaps the soap’s characters should start interacting using 15th-16th Century English. Put a crown on Nikki and call her Elizabeth II.

Correction…Elizabeth I…. I’ve got to get those queens straight…lol

this is what we watch soaps for! That’s the whole idea! I love it because, its soapy!!!

Meh. As you said, it was pretty obvious. What would have been more surprising is if it turned out that Mariah wasn’t related at all. What if it turned out that Grace Turner had slept with Cassie’s father was well and got pregnant? Anything but the “you didn’t know you had twins” thing again.

Good point, mfarris.

I’m very excited for the stories right now; they’re all really strong. Making Mariah Cassie’s twin is nice, though, I do hope with Camryn on contract that Cassie makes a ghostly appearance with both of her parents and her long-lost twin.

The only thing better would be that it turned out that Sharon had a baby boy who had a sex change.
come on folks–this is pure soapy goodness. I don’t even watch this soap and I think this is great (at least it is not sharon had two different baby daddies and delivered them at the same time–that was the biggest ewww factor with one life to live even if they took it back at the last week of the abc era of the soap

Yeah…I like that, WV fan.

Whether it is a redo of some other storyline or not, I’m glad that this is the way it turned out. Don’t you think real life ever has similar instances? I love Camryn Grimes on the show. She and Sharon Case and Joshua Morrow have a chemistry and I don’t mean one like what has been happening with Mariah trying to seduce Nick (that one is sick in so many ways). I’m sure the life Mariah has supposedly lived she just wants to find someone who will give her some affection and she has no way of knowing Sharon is her mother.

These three pop off the screen and really give the fans something positive to look forward to. Now if Billy Miller were to have a twin!

Yes, dawnhaze (interesting moniker). Such situations probably do happen in reality. But, when a person shows up amongst us who is the exact replica of someone else we once knew, we automatically put two and two together, as it were. We would not stand there scratching our heads, murmuring…”how can that be?” The conclusion, answer rather, is right there in front of us….sorry, I digress…this is a soap.

Of course i ll sit through anything involving Shick, my all time fave couple , but thrs too many plot holes. Mariah came to Genoa city and hung around for mos terrorizing abby and tyler! what was ians motive then and connection? way too many coincedences. Furthermore where is tyler and abby in this mess?! abby should have been all up in shicks face when maraih moved in , not more intrested in vicki s paternity yawn conumdrum. Tyler should ve been working with nick and sharon since he apparently s known maraih forever.
Where is Rederick? i love him off and think he s not been written properly since the new writing regime took over. Josh wrote him as cocky and arrogant and hurting. The new writers short changed this potential star…

Dont jinx us and mention Tyler! He was a horrible actor! Y&R has too many of them on screen now to dig up another one!

Oh, my gosh. I had completely forgotten all about Tyler. What does that tell you?

Two thumbs up for this story! Thankfully, someone was smart enough to bring back Camryn Grimes to Y&R as Cassie’s troublesome twin, which fills the empty space on the canvas that was created when Cassie was inexplicably killed off in 2005. It wasn’t as if all story possibilities had dried up for Cassie, who had just started to become rebellious. Pairing Mariah with Greg Rikaart’s Kevin also appears to be a winner.

Give JPF a star! And yes, Kevin and Mariah are great together and I think Gloria would approve of her. Why the hell cant Jeff and Gloria by another restaurant!

Will the FBI investigate Ian and the nurse????

Looks good!

Ho hum. .. Sure it works, because it’s just so darn “logical,” but so, so, so incredibly banal … the predictable route. (imho)

At the very least, they could have *surprised* us all and had the doctor reveal that Sharon actually gave birth to TRIPLETS! .. Thereby, leaving a “hook” dangling that there’s still another “baby” out there to be found! .. And the the third one would be a BOY! .. And when Nick is telling Sharon about this surprising development, we then pan to a scene where Rafe is bringing breakfast in bed to his new hot, ginger-haired boyfriend .. lol!

Oh, no that boy should be Austin-who is married to Summer! Lol!

We all knew Mariah was a twin but I like the story. It gives us more Nick, Sharon, Mariah, Ian, Victor, and Nicki and less of the Winters family! Oh, and dont forget less fake Billy who kisses like a goat!!! Really.

Austin & Summer, a waste of “CUT”.

Agreed, boring storyline, horrible acting!!

It’s a classic soap tale that never gets old! The actors are really bringing it and I’m so happy the story is coming full circle after all of these years! Can’t wait for this week’s events to unfold!

I am enjoying it because Sharon Case, Joshua Morrow & Camryn Grimes are selling it. Their performances have been spot on. Just watched the three episodes and surprise did not FF the button JFP you and your writers should give these three actors a big kudos. The only flaw is the ageing of Summer and that falls on MAB! Please keep Sharon & Nick together even after the fall out (Summer) they are the end game. Y&R has gold here need to stay with what works. The scene with Sharon & Victor made me wish for repairing that relationship.

I agree!

A shout out to Sharon Case she has been playing Sharon for 20 years this month and has done a fine job doing it! Congrats SC!

I KNEW IT FROM DAY ONE!!!

I am a big fan of young and the restless…love camryn grimes and sharon she’s amazing…….I miss catherine, nick is awesome….!!!!! Love and best wishes always…………!!!!!!

I love watching young. And the restless………love mariah and sharon, nick is amazing……I miss catherine…will continue too watch it everyday…..love always

YES! FINALLY!… With the abscene of adam and REAL’ storylines, this one was worth it. Thank god for camryn g!
Even though I saw this coming, can’t wait tto see how it all unfolds. Sharon and nick. Are good together, dreading summers’ paternity secret. Let her stay abbott! Her n austin are extremely annoying.
Poor Neil and his blindness and being so naivee in rescene of hilary.. Shame also on devon.
Nikki unfortunetly returning to the bottle could bring an interestting storyline and actions..
Rooting for a kevin/ mariah hookup.
Hoping nick and dylan kill Ian and clarence together and go into hiding or something for a month like the same kind of think with adam and the hightower murder… I don’t know I’m just thinking aloud lol, and wanting more drama quality that use to be!!!!
Gina T better bring it as Phyllis!!!!
MIss Mrs. C.. Rip*

What is up with Victor? Taking off to see Phyllis and find out about “The Secret” to ruin Sharon while Niki is alone – under attack from Ian – and stress affecting her MS not to mention her sobriety !!! What goes on in that man’s head. GET HOME VICTOR – TAKE CARE OF YOUR WIFE AND KILL IAN WARD. For crying out loud – that man goes from worse to “worser”.

But the twin story would she not like suspect having twins? Or were they premature so they were very small or what….did sharon have multiply personalitys so she forgot that she suspected that she was carrying twins O_O…i dont see this show just read about it…from sweden and i dont have the channels….maybe they have solved that too in the show i might have missed it. Anyway i think its pretty silly…im happy Phyllis is back BUT i dont want her with Jack :S and it would be fun if Faith was Jacks kid 🙂

Au revoir!

OKAY. Iknow my response is way late but I had taken a break from Y&R for awhile. I for one am glad to see (Camryn) back on the show. I missed Cassie and I was angry about how she was taken from the show before. If your child is on punishment and you let them still go to the movies, but she’s dressed like she’s going to a club or concert – than the loss of Cassie was Nick (Joshua) and Sharon’s (Sharon) fault she got killed! So, I’m HAPPY to see Cassie back on. She wasn’t the cutest child, but she’s grown into a beautiful young lady!

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)

Published

By

Patrick J. Gibbons

At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.

However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.

Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG

Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!

Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”

MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL

Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).

Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY

Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”

It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”

A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

Photo: PGibbons

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS

As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”

He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”

Take note! If there are any investment bankers or private equity folks among the GH faithful looking for a young analyst next year, Patrick’s DMs are open. You can find him on X at @PatrickJGibbons.

So, what did you think of the song sung by Trina on today’s GH that was written by Patrick J. Gibbons? Did you enjoy Patrick’s performances as One Life’s Sam and GH’s Wyatt? Would you like to see him back on GH at some point? Let us know via the comment section.

‘Guiding Light’s’ Grant Aleksander Shares Heartfelt Remembrance of TV Daughter, Hayden Panettiere On What Would Have Been Her 37th Birthday

Published

on

By

The tragic death of Hayden Panettiere last Sunday on August 21 continues to rock the entertainment world as her passing is still under investigation. Sadly, the former Guiding Light and Nashville star, died just days before her 37th birthday.

Now Grant Aleksander who played her on-screen father, Phillip Spaulding on Guiding Light a role he played on and off for nearly 30 years,  shared a touching tribute with The Locher Room via Instagram, to his former TV daughter on her birthday on Friday, August 21.

It was back in 1996-2000 that Panettiere played the role of Phillip and Beth’s (Beth Chamberlin) daughter, Lizzie Spaulding. When Hayden was on-screen her performances were outstanding even as a little girl.

Photo: CBS

Aleksander began, When I think of Hayden the first image that comes is of her running down the hall in the studio with a huge, toothy grin on her face. Literally bursting with joy. And that’s what she gave to us. Pure, infectious joy. That and a talent that belied her years.”

“She was a natural with an instinctive understanding of acting that most adult actors can only dream of possessing. But that’s not what I’ll remember most about her. It’s that sunshine she brought to all of us that were lucky enough to be in her orbit that will stay with me, expressed Grant.

He concluded with, “I’ll always cherish the years I got to be her tv Dad. I wish I could have seen her one more time just to tell her how proud I was of her. She’s left us way too soon. We can only hope that she’s finally found the peace that eluded her in her short life. Rest in peace Princess!”

Michael Fairman TV previously shared emotional tributes from many of Hayden’s co-stars here, plus Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky, GH and ex-Avery, Nashville) who wrote a beautiful tribute to his former co-star.

So, do you remember the scenes between a young Lizzie and Phillip on Guiding Light? What did you think of Grant Aleksander’s words? Let us know via the comment section below. Here’s just a sampling below, of how great Hayden was with her scene partner, Grant.
