WATCH WHAT HAPPENS: GH's Jason Thompson, Nancy Lee Grahn & Kelly Monaco Do The ALS Bucket Challenge!

Courtesy/YouTube

Now this is pretty brilliant!  If you didn’t catch General Hospital star Jason Thompson’s (Patrick) ALS Bucket Challenge video yesterday, we have it posted right here at On-Air On-Soaps.

In the video, Jason (sans beard) walks out of the General Hospital studios into the parking lot where he tells the camera that he decided to make a donation to ALS and forego the “Bucket Challenge” part, because he always looks so good after a day at GH in hair and make-up!

Naturally, the set-up was a spoof, and just when you least expect it none other than Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) douses Thompson with a bucket!

But that’s not all folks! Then Nancy gets the bucket of aqua from high above where he on-screen daughter Kelly Monaco (Sam) is perched on top of a car raining the water down on La Grahn!  And then the hilarity continues from there!

Watch Jason, Nancy, and Kelly’s ALS Bucket Challenge after the jump!  Then let us know, if you thought it was one of the best soap star “ALS Bucket Challenge” videos?

Me, too. Also proves that Kelly Monaco’s wardrobe is 80% black in color. Goodness, does she ever wear anything else – even in the SoCal heat?

It was cute, that’s why some of the actors are so dear to us. They don’t always have to be made up looking perfect , etc.

WATCH: Nancy Lee Grahn, Jane Elliot & Kim Zimmer in ‘Covid Support Group’ Episode Two

Over the weekend, General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) along with her creative partner. comedian, Kaore Bonell released episode two of the hilarious send-up ‘Covid Support Group” which features Grahn, and two other powerhouses known for their performances on daytime drama: Jane Elliot (Tracy, General Hospital) and Kim Zimmer (Ex-Reva, Guiding Light).

In episode two, Bonell and the three women are joined by a very special guest; when none other than former Los Angeles District Attorney, who tried the OJ Simpson Murder Trial, Marcia Clark, shows up!  We won’t tell you what happens, you’ll have to check it out to see.

Watching Zimmer as a boozy version of herself, Grahn with her brilliant comedic timing, and Elliot who is also perfection in this, is just too fun that every soap fan will get a kick-of, and even if you don’t watch daytime, think about how everyone is going stir-crazy during the coronavirus pandemic, and amp it up a bit and you have the genesis of this oh-so-timely series.

Best line of episode 2 was from Grahn:  During confessions during Covid, she says to the support group, “I bitch-slapped a guy who was hoarding toilet paper at CVS, does that count? Or does Erika Slezak get my Emmy for that, too?”

Watch Covid Support Group 2 below, and then let us know what you thought of it via the comment section below!

GH’s Mark Lawson Fuels At-Home Workout With Soap Opera Competition: “Dante, Dante, Dante, Dominic, Dominic, Dominic … But What About Dustin?”

As fans and colleagues of General Hospital and former One Life to Live star, Mark Lawson (Dustin, GH) know, he often posts on his Instagram account at-home workouts from his garage including: exercises with: kettlebells and free weights. In real-life, Lawson is a fitness guru, as well.

In one of his most recent posts over the holiday weekend, Mark used the constant chatter of a potential return of Dominic Zamprogna to GH to reprise his role of Dante Falconeri (which would pit Mark’s school teacher alter-ego Dustin at-odds with Dante, for the love of Lulu (Emme Rylan)) to charge up his workout routine! So what’s a guy to do?  Bicep curls!

Next, fueling his workout in a hilarious send-up, Lawson, as he is curling dumbbells remarks: “You want Dante back? Dante, Dante, Dante … Dominic,Dominic,Dominic … It’s all you talk about.  It’s all you care about, but what about Dustin?  What’s up with Dustin?  Where’s good guy Dustin? School teacher Dustin, who never shot nobody.  Never hurt anybody and all he wanted was a girlfriend.   All everybody talks about is Dante, Dante, Dante. Dominic, Dominic, Dominic.”

You can watch Mark’s IG post below!

Then let us know, if you hope there will be some healthy soap opera competition for the love of Lulu down the line between Dustin and Dante, if Dominic returns to the show.  If he does return, would you be Team Dustin or Team Dante? Share your thoughts via the comment section.
