I love Laura Wright! She steals most of the scenes she is in! I love her freshness and how positive she appears to be on Twitter. too. I like following her and “Standing Wines”-the wine business she shares with her husband. I would always welcome Antonio Sabato, Jr. back to GH! He would look great paired with Laura or Maura West as Ava!

I agree…Maura West is such a great talent… but she needs a hot love interest, besides a teenager!! Even that, she pulled it off!

I used to love Sonny and Carly together… the scenes are still fun, but honestly I thought Connie and Sonny were the best! They were magic. So crazy they killed her off and now she goes to another soap. 🙁

Be nice to bring Brenda back… for good, as her career is not exactly on fire! ( Sorry but true)

Can we try to steal Greg Vaughn back to GH as Lucky? Such a handsome sexy guy being wasted on DOOL. Is he on contract and when is it up? 🙂

100 percent agree. Tony and Jonathan have MAJOR chemistry but we probably will never see the two of them on GH again. Greg was underrated as Lucky and he and Laura really need to be on the show again!

So right, Elite. Greg Vaughn’s talent, looks and charisma are wasted on DOOL. He is all dressed
up and nowhere to go on this soap. A priest, no less…and now, even that storyline has been
taken away. I don’t know what TPTB’s plan is for Greg. I am tired of the same old brooding, day after day…..he never smiles…so depressing to watch. Sigh !!
I had no idea he was once part of the GH cast…interesting!!! I would love to see him return, though.
I also love Ryan…he is the whole package.
Antonio? All I have to say is…’ Ciao, Antonio. Sei sempre bello, sai! Voglio augurarti tante belle cose, e spero che vinci la ‘gara’ , DANCING WITH THE STARS.

Loved Greg Vaughan as Lucky….Really appreciate his fine acting in a very complicated role asEric Brady….the story may be taking a slow ..painful buildup..worth the wait..DOOL fans don’t want to give up our “Ericole”. Stellar acting Greg!!!!

Greg is a wonderful actor! We love him at DAYS! We love our Ericole!

Just love Laura Wright as Carly! She is terrific on GH. Love all her pairings, and she is high energy and makes Carly fun to watch no matter what she is up to. Love her with Jax, Sonny, and even Franco. Hope Carly gets to hook up with best pal Jason once more too. Love her in family mode too.

I’m LOVING the reconnect of S&C, you & Mo are knocking it out of the park…Any chance S&C could finally make their relationship work on a deeper level than friends? They’re older & more mature now…I hope so I’ve LOVED S&C since 2000

Matthew Ashford, Martha Madison, Victoria Konefal and Maree Cheatham Make Returns to Days of our Lives

Today on Thursday April 11th, Days of our Lives celebrated the taping of their 15,000 episode which also happens to coincide with the funeral and episodes surrounding the death of Doug Williams (played by the late Bill Hayes).

Michael Fairman TV was on the set today during the milestone celebration; which also revealed who was back and participating in scenes during the emotional funeral for Doug and more.

In addition to the previously revealed Stephen Schnetzer (Steve Olson), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Horton) and Gloria Loring (Liz Chandler), now comes Matthew Ashford (Jack Devereaux), Martha Madison (Belle Black), Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady Weston) and Maree Cheathem (Marie Horton) among others.

Days of our Lives Reveals Newcomers Cherie Jimenez and Al Calderon

On the official Days of our Lives Instagram account, a photo has appeared featuring new additions to Salem, Cherie Jimenez and Al Calderon.  The Peacock streaming soap opera is not offering up just who they are playing.

However, the smart money seems to be that Jimenez is a recast Gabi Hernandez and Calderon potentially her brother, Dario Hernandez, since the two actors are seen standing in Rafe’s (Galen Gering) kitchen.

In story, Gabi has been stuck in prison for “murdering” Li Shin. Looks like the character will be brought back on to the canvas, but will Gabi reunite with Stefan (Brandon Barash)?

If Calderon proves to be Dario that character has been off the show since 2017, when soap vet Jordi Vilasuso played the part. Dario departed Salem to avoid getting locked up in the slammer and in the process granted Abigail a divorce while in hiding.

If Jimenez looks familiar, she has been featured in roles on Pretty Little Liars,The Newsroom, NCIS, Maya and Breaking Tradition. Calderon has appeared in Walking Dead: World Beyond, and a few episodes of the soapy, The Haves and the Have Nots.

As for Camila Banus, her last day on the DAYS set was back on April 28, 2023, when she revealed she was exiting the role of Gabi, a role she made soap-famous for 13 years.

Do you think Cherie and Al are the new Gabi and Dario? If not, who do you think they are playing? Weigh-in below.

Melissa Reeves Returns to Days of our Lives

Longtime Days of our Lives star, Melissa Reeves, who has not filmed episodes with the Peacock streaming episode since 2021, is reportedly back on set and shooting story as Jennifer Horton. Reeves began her run as Jennifer back in 1985.

Melissa is taping the Thanksgiving episodes, but will also be a part of the Doug Williams memorial in honor her beloved former castmate Bill Hayes, who passed away in January at the age of 98.

According to TV Insider, Melissa had one concern in returning, in that, the role has been most recently been played by Cady McClain in her absence. Reeves expressed, “My one thing was, ‘I’m not taking this away from Cady.’ If this is Cady’s thing and she loves being here and she really loves playing this part, I don’t want to take it away from her. I’m so good either way.”

Previously, Melissa had moved to Tennessee full-time with her husband, Scott Reeves (ex-Y&R, GH, DAYS). Speaking on being back to pay tribute to Bill Hayes, Reeves shared, “I heard about Bill, which was just devastating for all of us. I was like, ‘I wonder if they’re going to do tribute shows.’”

For decades, Reeves along with Matthew Ashford (Jack) formed the Salem supercouple of Jack and Jennifer. She related that she reached out to Ashford who said to her, “Would you ever think about going back?’ to which she replied, ‘Matt, I think about Days all the time.’ Melissa added, “So I said, ‘Matt, you know if they called, I would say yes, but I haven’t heard anything.’”

Being a part of the tribute to Bill Hayes and to say goodbye to his beloved character of Doug Williams, has special significance for Melissa. She mentioned she weeped, recalling, “Of course I cried because he’s such an incredible man, but what an incredible legacy he has left behind as a man, as a father, as a grandfather, as a husband.“

So, looking forward to seeing Melissa Reeves reprise the role of Jennifer Rose Horton later this year as we say goodbye to Doug Williams and honor Bill Hayes? Comment below.
